It was quite but only 12 on a Sunday so will get busy later on

Nobody answers the phone. Asked on arrival for menu, No food served here at all. Staff and customers were vaping inside the bar, absolutely disgusting.

fish and chips on friday are excellent, been there regularly also drop in for a pint , large sign on entrance re parking and on doors leading in to pub so a few idiots who don’t look or read signs.

Had a pint with a mate then drove home. Few days later. Parking fine for £60. Took it back in and saw the parking sign when I returned. They reduced the fine to £20. Most expensive pint of my life. Never going back. Do yourself a favour and go to the pub other side of the traffic lights.

Me and my son had a few real ales but found the bar made would not top up the beer please be aware

Fabulous fresh food great staff lovely place We had fish and chips all homemade and fresh no frozen grub here Welcome by bar staff was second to none as she was an absolute angel

Very unfriendly place not like it used to be judging by the amount of signs up saying keep your kids under control this is not a family friendly pub. At one point my kids were told to be quiet by the bar staff and we were in the beer garden aswell.

Fish and chips were amazing. Friendly staff. Pleasure to be served by giof staff.

Sat in the car in the car park for 10 minutes on a phone call as I was intending to go to petrrol station next door. Dark no lights in car park to get £100 parking charge for 10 minutes Car park was fairly deserted and didn’t see any signs Looks a crap pub too, won’t be going back there ever again!

Recently moved to Brayton and saw the advert for Fish and Chip Friday. After the birth of our first grand daughter we decided to try our new local to celebrate with a pint or two and a fish supper. We found a warm and friendly welcome and although we were too late for the discounted Fish and Chip supper we went ahead and ordered. WOW! The food was fabulous. Hot, fresh and very tasty. Accompanied by a couple of pints of the new White Rat Ale we can happily say that we have found a new local to which we will definitely return

Absolutely fuming as I came here to pick up my husband after his quick drink with one of his mates. Never ever have I been to this pub before (and never again). He had just got a pint so parked up in the pub car park to wait for him to finish (total time of parking 14 mins). This morning I have received a parking charge for this 14 mins !!!!!! Never been here before and I assure you I did not see any signs stating that you had to pay anywhere!!! But charge notice states there are signage but where I never saw any absolutely disgusting but rest assured I will never return here please be warned!!

We have just moved to this area and so we would take a walk to a local pub and see what it is like. It was almost full when we got there, a few just having a quick drink after work. We ordered the fish and chips and can honestly say the size and quality of the fish was superb. It is quite easy to get put off by other reviews, but as this is local we really wanted to try it. Staff were friendly, the pub was clean, and the drinks a good price. Dear TripAdvisor - I'm not too happy with having to select a type of visit, not sure what difference that makes, and you have 'couples' as a plural, it was just 2 of us.

I had my roast dinner which is delivered every Sunday today, and as usual it was lovely.Today with it being Mother’s Day,they also brought me a box of chocolates, now how lovely is that ? Has a modern yet cosy, welcoming feel. Locals are freindly to all which is a treat for a village Pub. All really hospitable people. Friendly Staff and Reasonable Prices for Drinks . Lovely outside area with enclosed seating for Social Distancing . Also Have TV Screens for Football and you can bring the dog . For along time this pub was I decline but they have got it completely right now. More of the locality should be using this place . A Hub of the community but just as relaxed foe any visitors from outside the area

One of the worst experiences I’ve had for a Sunday lunch. Pork was raw. No idea about food allergies, when I informed them I was allergic to gluten they then offered me a stuffing ball 🤦‍♀️ Greasy cold roast potatoes. No gluten free options at all for gravy . Filthy carpets and furniture. Couldn’t eat the food Defo recommend people avoid this place I’d be surprised if it had one star on the hygiene rating

Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery

I hate seeing pubs closing down left right and centre but this one would be better off shut. It was revamped a few years ago but now looks very tired, pool table broken, carpets thread bare, stale smell of ale with sticky flooring - very unwelcoming women at the bar - no chat no smile.... literally screaming I don’t care - I don’t want to be here - I don’t want your money - terrible! About 5 other people in the pub so I guess it probably will shut down soon and unlike many pubs they deserve it! Worst atmosphere ever! Don’t bother, try the pub next door - Can’t be worse than this! Terrible.

Now that this pub is open every day from lunch time to late evening it's customers are building up. The food is very good and we've been every Sunday lunch time for the last few weeks and enjoyed it.

Ten of us got together for one of our friends birthday and as some of our group lived in Brayton and have been before. Everybody seemed to enjoy their meals especially the fish (oily batter) peas and chips. My medium rare rump steak was basically burnt and was very well done, not medium rare, the onion rings were soaked in fat or oil. Unfortunately I have to rate them at 3, solely based on my meal. Their service was excellent and the prices were below average but I would have preferred paying extra for a well cooked steak. Shame as quite a friendly pub.

Not a place I would visit twice.

Went here for lunch on Saturday, the food was gorgeous and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for one of us who had a nut allergy and another who was vegetarian.

Recently refurbished, great food

Tried to go for lunch one Friday in June but there was sign saying the kitchen was shut so we had to go elsewhere, tried again this lunchtime to go for a pint and watch some cricket, the pub was shut due to a lack of beer. I used to enjoy going in this pub a year ago, shame I don't seem to be able to anymore

Well I must say well done to the Swan Inn in Brayton. Whilst passing by on Sunday I popped in as saw they did Sunday dinners, Must say I was very impressed, Finally a pub that not only cooks everything fresh it knows how to use an oven and hob. Well done Swan Inn, So many Pub lunches are now nuking part of there meals or worse still all of it but not here, Great food cooked well and very tasty to say the least. I will be back for sure and will bring my family and friends. Well done and keep up the good work.

Fabulous Sunday lunches and also evening meals which you just can't fault at all, The food is beautiful and there is plenty of it, The pub has a lovely atmosphere Tracy and Phil make you feel very welcome. They often have music acts on too which are well worth sticking around for.

Had Two meals here and both were excellent.Food was really tasty. Service was wonderful. The staff couldn't do enough for you. We will definitely be going back.

Really terrible afternoon here. Over 20 of us dined here for my best friends 30th birthday, and yes fair enough that is a large number but they were forewarned at least a fortnight in advance. First off they didn't have enough seats set out for us. Food came in dribs and drabs. cold, burned, overdone, and different parts of meals came at different times for example the mains came out then 30 minutes later the veg accompaniment. a LONG wait for deserts, which would have been fine if they were correct. but even when our party (politely) complained our deserts were taken away and then the exact same deserts brought back out. Thoroughly unorganised, draining, and tiresome experience, all of which would've been absolutely fine if wed had some form of apology or even a smile or kind word. to top it all of the baby changing facilities were abominable.

Hubby and I called off in here one Sunday for dinner, the weather outside at the time was wet, cold and dreary. I think due to this that is why the pub was virtually empty. We had a standard sized roast dinner. Hubby had turkey which he said was very moist and tasty. I opted for pork and when it arrived at the table it was like pulled pork not sliced pork, however it was still tasty. Shame as when I asked for some crackling I was told they didn't have any. The Yorkshire Pudding served on the plates were a little bit burnt on the top, we did think these had been cooked before and maybe placed under a grill to heat up. Mash potato aswell as roast potatoes was served along with a dish of freshly cooked vegetables which were a good variety. For pudding I had the Apple Crumble which was gorgeous and just what the doctor ordered for the weather outside. Hubby had the trio of chocolate cheesecake, 3x small pieces of cheesecake arranged on a plate with squirty sauce! All the staff were friendly and courteous. The overall price for the meal and drinks were very reasonably priced and hubby said the bitter shandy he had was the best he had drunk in years.

Art class I attend booked here for our end of term Christmas meal. It was excellent, great service by very friendly waitresses. I'm gluten intolerant and I was treated very well, not like an alien which often happens in so many places.

Was passing with a group of friends and called in for Sunday Lunch. The swan doesn't necessarily look much from the road but staff are really welcoming, friendly and helpful, food was lovely, huge portions and served in the lounge area which was spotlessly clean....
