The Swan in Dacorum

Came to the area to buy a car and stumbled across this lovely little pub , outstanding friendly welcome , very very good pint no food but the land lady was more than happy with us bringing our fish and chips from across the road over , even providing us with plate cutlery and sauces to eat with , if we are in the area again we will be making the effort to visit this beautiful little pub again , highly recommend to everyone!

We were fortunate to attend a family wedding at The Swan, the venue was clean and the facilities were more than adequate. From start to finish the staff worked tirelessly and made everyone welcome. The BBQ for the evening meal was perfect and all the food cooked fresh and piping hot. Thanks to all of you.

We had a Sunday lunch delivered today. I was a little apprehensive but it did it not disappoint Lovely food lots of fresh veggies & homemade Yorkshire’s & roast potatoes It would be great if they could offer deliver slots, for example between 1pm & 2pm, however, they did called ahead to let us know our food was on its way which was excellent Everyone enjoyed the food, no washing up, everyone.full and a super meal ... what’s not to like, will be ordering again Thank you

I went down for The Swans ‘Pie and Mash day’ and very much enjoyed the meal, the food was on point and covid worries very well addressed. The Swan is a lovely pub and put on food nights every so often and never disappoints! Would highly recommend following them on social media and looking out for their food events etc etc.

Check when Jon is serving food as it is always worthwhile turning up for! Jon has a good eye for a well-presented plate and our breakfast last week was no exception. Good food, a very helpful team, good surroundings and always at a very reasonable price. The beer is good too!

I have used the Swan for many years but the level of language has deteriorated so much in recent weeks that we have decided to go somewhere else for our regular Friday night drink and fish and chips. One of the owners was working and he did absolutely nothing to tone down the level of language being used. Such a shame

Officially the greatest pub in the world. Great for beers and more beers. Proud to say it is my local. Even when it’s not my local I’m still going to go. Worth a visit and beers. Love it.

Been going here for about a year and a half now, it’s such a lovely friendly pub. The 2 landlords are diamonds and will help you with absolutely anything you require. Always live entertainment on and food nights, lovely food too! I would 100% recommend coming here! If I could give it 10/10 I definitely would!

OK for a quick pint but a bit noisy and sadly a sticky bar!! Such a shame to find that sort of thing still happens in a village local.
