Great authentic glasgow pub. We were in when the karaoke was kicking off on Friday night. Bit out of the hubbub of the city centre but if you find yourself in the area and don't want to overpay for drink....

Not a bad bar, nice decor, and food was cheap/fast/edible, but it was more expensive for a soda and like than my pint of belhaven was! 4.10 is ridiculous for a soft drink.

Don’t smile here. Frowns only. This place was a huge bummer to stop in Glasgow on my first day here. Just getting to my Airbnb. Stopped at the store. Thought I would ride this happy trip energy and get a pint here. The big female bartender didn’t like that I smiled at her and said hi so she accused me of being drunk. First she walked away from me after I say hi and smiled. Then she stops the bartender from serving me a beer. Asks if I’ve been drinking a bit too much before coming there. Damn lady. “I just few around the planet to get here and I’ve been walking, so no, not drunk just happy”. She let me have a beer but her bad attitude was nonstop. Some places do not like happiness. I eventually walked out without finishing the beer and it’s been a sour mark on this trip. Just one poor minded soul ruins it for everyone. It looked like it could be a nice place if not for that mean girl. Girl, nobody was hitting on you! Why so rude?

One of my favourite pubs in Glasgow. Im afraid it looks a bit tired. Toilets very poorly attended. Floor wet. Smelly. Badly in need of some TLC. Still has a large metal frame towering over the tables and chairs, apparently a throw back from covid regulations. In my opinion with the right management this would be rectified quickly. The owners need to pull their socks up and make sure this wonderful wee pub thrives and is a credit to the city

Last n only last time I be back n here. £4.35 for a pint how you work this out seriously get a grip. Just because every 1 gets a pay rise, you pump the prices up. Yer a joke. Offf a pub. Never will come back n here..its a definite no no go area anymore

Arrived back from Ibiza to Glasgow on a wet, cold and windy afternoon. Missed our connection home so what else to do than grab a couple of beers. 🍻 We walked up to The Station Bar, just a few minutes from Buchanan Bus Station, and immediately were given a warm, friendly welcome. Such a lovely family run this pub. It was warm and cosy, served plenty beers on draft (we opted for Tennants and Belhaven Best) and ordered the most British food you could choose (fish n chips, steak pie n chips). Delicious, cosy and filling, everything we could have asked for and more. Cannot recommend this bar enough - I urge you to give it a try. Definitely a top ten for this year!

Oh, dear wanderer, let me regale you with tales of the splendid Station Bar, nestled in the heart of Cowcaddens, Glasgow. This whimsical haven of merriment transports you to a world where laughter frolics and mirth dances in the air. As I crossed the threshold, my senses were bewitched by an enchanting symphony of vibrant colors and jovial melodies. The atmosphere was a kaleidoscope of joy, where laughter echoed and happiness twinkled like starlight. It was as if the very walls whispered tales of jovial revelry and camaraderie. The libations, oh, the libations! A cornucopia of liquid delights awaited me, crafted by sorcerers of mixology. Their potions danced upon my palate, tickling my taste buds with joyous explosions of flavor. Each sip was a celebration, a joyous toast to life itself. But let us not forget the culinary wonders that graced my palate. From the first bite, I was transported to a realm where taste buds leaped with glee. The cuisine, a carnival of flavors, left me in a state of blissful delirium. Each dish, a masterpiece of culinary artistry, brought me closer to gastronomic nirvana. And what of the merry souls that populated this haven of cheer? The staff, guardians of merriment, were paragons of warmth and hospitality. With smiles brighter than the sun, they showered me with attention and ensured my every need was met. Their exuberance was infectious, spreading joy like confetti in the wind. Oh, Station Bar, you are a true gem amidst the mundane world! A place where laughter is the currency, and merriment the language spoken by all. To step into your embrace is to be whisked away on a whimsical adventure, where worries melt like morning mist and joy reigns supreme. If ever you find yourself in Cowcaddens, dear soul, I implore you to seek the Station Bar. Let its jubilant aura enfold you and ignite the fire of delight within your heart. For in this wondrous establishment, you shall find not just a bar, but a gateway to unadulterated happiness.

Had a Reunion of my old shipping company (Scottish Ship Management) there prior to Christmas (2022). Staff were very welcoming and extremely efficient keeping all those present well attended regarding drink orders. Our meal was lovely in particular the soup. It was just what the doctor ordered on a cold Glasgow December. The meals were all efficiently served and, again hats off to the staff for ensuring we were well attended. The Station Bar is not a large venue but it is cosy with a small open fire towards the end of the bar. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day for our Reunion in part due meeting many old friends and colleagues but also made so by the friendly and very efficient staff. My thanks to them all for making our day such a success. I would highly recommend The Station Bar (TSB) for its ambience and welcoming bar staff (and cook).

Went to The Station Bar on Wednesday with my 94 year old grandad for his weekly catch up with ex colleague's. The staff remembered me after a year of not being there. As always they were polite, cheery and attentive (special praise Sarah!) For a city centre pub it was well priced, I had a tennents or 5 and it was a beautiful pint, the regular group ordered food which again is not only well priced but well presented, tasted great and came in vast portions. You could do a lot worse than going to The Station Bar if you are in Glasgow centre wanting a traditional, well run, friendly pub!

Visited for a beer before going to passport office opposite. Looks like a ‘who’s-he’ pub from outside but couldn’t be further from the truth. Lovely friendly welcome when we walked in. Drinks orders taken and brought to the table with a cheerful smile. I got so comfortable wife went to sort her passport while I stayed and had another beer. Wife returned and we had some lunch which was lovely. Arrived promptly but so quick that it was prepared by chef Mic(rowave). Sadly we had to leave to catch our train home but will be sure to return, was worth the trip from Edinburgh just to find this hidden gem.

It is inexpensive and the sort of place you could have a drink either before or after heading into town for shopping or a night out. Just in from my work Christmas lunch. £36 A head . Food was awful. Scotch broth had no seasoning or taste and was like pea soup. Blade of beef main course was like shoe leather with no steak knife to help cut it. Had to ask for salt as no condiments on table . Service terrible and not enough bar staff on. Staff were so stressed and miserable . No table service or wine offered with meal. They are missing an upselling trick. They ran out of guiness, peroni , menabrea etc. . We were hunted rudely off our tables as there was another booking coming in. Terrible experience
