The Parlour in Glasgow City

I love the £3.5 pint deal along with the other drinks and pizza deals during weekdays. The food is great. I love the Sugo pizza and the gochujang chicken tenders. The music played inside is usually cool and the service is fair enough. Overall, it's a place I like visiting.

Popped in after a cycle for a refreshing beer and feel as if I have been robbed £13.60 for 2 pints, seriously? No wonder pups are closing down I feel as though I have seriously fleeced #wontbeback

The Parlour the perfect beer garden for pints in the sun. The cocktails are amazing, I also loved the wheel to spin for cheap shots! Staff are really friendly and the DJ was playing all the bangers! Great for both sunny daytime drinks and evenings out.

Don't get lured in with the outside ads of cheap drinks! We visited this pub yesterday as it has a nice seating area outside when the sun is out and also because it was advertising spicy margaritas at £5 (see photo) and pints at £3.50 all day every day, no small words or other information. We ordered 3 pints, none of them were ate £3.50 and in the menu only the alcohol free were at that price. We did order 1 spicy margarita (which wasn't that great) and paid £12! When asked about the £5 ad outside, they said it's a version with low alcohol. That's fine but it should be advertised as that or under a different name. As it is it's misleading and false advertising, not even sure if legal. Of course we won't be back and better to visit one of the many other pubs in the area.

The atmosphere is pretty loud overall, we were in for a quiet Monday! The cocktails were, however, fantastic! We tried pretty much everything in the menu and everything was awesome. A little too much Tabasco in the spicy mango daiquiri, but that won’t stop us being back! Thanks to the team for the great time.

Do not get fooled by the info on google page - they do not do tacos! But what they lack in tacos they make up in service and atmosphere.

Would have been 5* but plastic cups are a no no when sitting indoors. I understand plastic for outdoors but NOT indoors!

Staff are friendly, attentive and ensure you’re well looked after. Great drinks and food. Been a regular for years - perfect local.

Genuinely the best service in the west end. Staff, so friendly, service insanely fast (can’t say that about their neighbouring bar). I’m a regular for a reason.

Really poor quality of drinks and service, drinks are expensive are there is zero care taken when making them, often coming out in a dirty glass. Staff are more concerned with how they look than the service they’re giving and the music is so loud you can’t hear yourself think never mind talk to your mates.

This experience at The Parlour was actually awful, been before for a pleasant pint but this visit kept on disappointing. My partner and I spent £35 on 2 rounds of drinks, both cocktails were pish and tasted nothing like they were supposed to. Staff were rude and couldn’t be bothered, to top it off my boyfriend’s pint of Guinness had a chunk of ‘pizza’? in the glass. disgustinggg

Great selection on tap, Great atmosphere and even Greater service! Wouldn’t be an honest review if I didn’t give a special shout-out to, arguably your best server, Saskia- for always creating a welcoming environment and pouring the crispiest pints! Nothing beats walking into parlor after a long evening, and being greeted with a cold pint and a warm smile. Home away from home. Once again, fantastic service, keep up the good work!

Outstanding Hospitality! Saskia's impeccable service at The Parlour deserves recognition. Her genuine kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home. Usually whenever I order drinks at the bar I feel sometimes ignored by the staff but not with Saskia. She also walked us through the drinks menu and even made some suggestions. The drinks were delicious as well. Can't wait to return for another round of cocktails! The venue is beautiful as well and we loved the outside area.

Great range of draught beer. Lovely, friendly but not overbearing service. Relaxed but efficient. The staff know their stuff: I didn't have a cocktail but watched in awe as a few were made for other customers. Thoroughly enjoyable night.

Had a friend over from London and ended up in Parlour. It was our first visit and we really liked it. Table service was quick, drinks were excellent (if a tad pricey), and the staff was friendly. Will definitely visit again soon.

Great wee independent run bar. The dj’s always bring the vibe and the bar staff are friendly and laid back. I recently tried the new pizza menu and loved it! Would recommend!

So disappointed, the barmaid not only poured a half measure on more than one occasion, but her attitude was horendous. If you don't like your job, work somewhere else. Spending £30 for 4 drinks is a choice but accepting that service isn't.

Toilets are shabby with no roll and seat hanging off. Only food we were offered was popcorn. Great buzz about the place but we left hungry and confused 😕

Booked here as I had checked out the menu and seen a few things I liked. I ordered at the bar and no asahi draught so opted for peroni draught which again they did not offer on the night. Reluctantly ordered a madri which was flat. Scoured the menu again and seen red peroni by the bottle, ordered and again not available. It’s bar at Christmas time, the management must be so poor not to have that selection available. All the staff were great but the people running clearly do not care and it shows. Go to hillhead book club, this place feeds off the scraps of them.

I came in for a drink, the bar was very quiet on a Monday afternoon. The bar tenders and staff present were nice and seemed in good spirits. Nice atmosphere even without lots of customers.

The Bloody Marys are really good here. The drinks are reasonable and the place is spacious. It is right next to the university so there's a lot going on.

Non-existent service. Seemed too carefree and blasé about dealing with a modestly busy bar. Once served (after missing out a drink from the order), I had to remind them twice that I hadn’t actually paid - expensively priced at £30 for three pints and one short too. One of our drinks (pretty much full) was then taken away without notice by staff when one of our group had their back turned. We alerted staff behind bar but again they didn’t seem to be too concerned although did promise to replace. After another few minutes of waiting, we had to alert staff again after they had seemingly forgotten to replace the drink. Another 5 mins passed of waiting for the replacement before it was time to call it quits. Seemed to have some atmosphere about it so obviously relatively popular but service sucked the life out of it.

I was disappointed at the sloppy serving of overpriced wine. The guy behind the bar didn't rinse the measure in between red and white wine. It's a shame as it ought to be a good place, but it's not.

sat outside with my wife enjoying the may day sun, only to have a sticker put down on our table saying this table is reserved from 3pm. I asked waitress how this could be reserved and was told reservations take priority!! Now the fact that we were paying customers who were actually paying money ,sitting at a free table apparently has no standing!! so someone could phone up an ask for a table, and you as a patron are overlooked ,, totally un- acceptable...reservations should be displayed

Great service from bartender Aadam! Very knowledgeable with his drinks and always served with a friendly smile. Music however was a bit off putting, preferred the outdoor area for the atmosphere and wish they had some better music choices at a more reasonable volume.

Don’t order food. It was the worst. First, the pizza I ordered was too burnt. And I asked them to change it with much generosity. Instead, they gave me burger but the taste was cheap. Maybe you can cook much better.

Came here after dinner for drinks after waiting at the bar for ten minutes due to one guy serving we were told we could t get half a Sangria we explained it was for 1? Still no they wanted you to take the full pitcher and at £30 we declined Then asked for Malibu was told none? Really a stocked bar and no Malibu? Then noticed the table beside us 6 guys came in with their own take away food of chips etc? I mean really why is this allowed the girl that was on seemed oblivious to it but we weren’t they were obnoxious and rowdy. We decide to leave and won’t be back anytime soon total understaffed and the staff that was in were not interested in you nor did they try to offer any alternatives or apologise for not having what we asked, it was almost like right next?? Shocking attitude and in todays current climate where most business are struggling I think this place needs a major shake up.
