Found this by accident while wandering on a shopping trip. Great tapas style bar food. 3 for 20 offer and boozy brunch offers when we arrived. Stuck with the tapas. More than enough food in this deal. Wings were very good. Really nice place will definitely use again.

Really nice vibes - interior cool and staff very nice. Loved the whimsical drinks - very tasty. Small plates were nice for dining. Would come back.

Booked for Mother’s Day- atmosphere was absolutely dead! Service was extremely slow and what looked like a table of 4, for me and my mum, ended up being a table of 2- had another mother and daughter sitting, what felt like on our lap, despite there being many empty tables. They also add on a 10% service charge which is an absolute joke for how long it took to order 2 drinks. Could hear members of staff swearing whenever the phone rang, abhorrent service and atmosphere. Drinks also far too expensive. Will not be going back

Cocktails were great! Only downside is how close the tables were other than that it was a good experience would recommend

We booked a table for my birthday yet as it was busy somehow still ended up away in the corner at the bar. I feel this place gets a lot of hype . but first time going it wasn't what I expected. I felt there was no atmosphere, the was not the best and unfortunately the cocktails weren't all that ( own personal opinion obviously )

Good food, we had various small plates from the bar bites menu and all dishes were very tasty. Service, although everyone was polite and helpful, was slow. I would recommend ordering your next drink when you receive the first. The cocktails are a bit on the disappointing side. They taste great but not so much fan and flare that you would expect from somewhere like the Spiritualist. The only real fan fare cocktails were made with dry ice and they had run out, so no show with the cocktails. We did get a discount on our bill due to the disappointment. Unfortunately for us, the experience wasn’t what we expected it to be

Popped in for cocktails and they were lovely. Table service was great, our waiter was quick and the be staff delivered the excellent cocktails pretty quickly.

The service was a bit slow to start and tables are very very close together so it was a bit awkward. We felt very rushed for a place that is meant to be a bar. Towards the middle of our time at the table we kept getting reminded how long we had left which was ruining our time a wee bit. The cocktails we ordered were the same ones but tasted different every new one we got I wouldn’t go back because of how rushed it was and how we felt like we couldn’t really relax and ended up going to a different cocktail bar. If it weren’t for this we might have enjoyed it quite a lot. The amount of money we paid as well, I would probably not recommend to friends.

Amazing experience! I thought I had booked boozy brunch (not going to lie, blaming the website), but we hadn’t so I arrived, was greeted by the wonderful staff and seated outside. The staff informed me that boozy brunch couldn’t be had outside when I mentioned this is what we were here for. No problem as the lovely staff managed to seat my friend and I inside but not in the brunch bit as this was full but had mentioned if there was a cancellation they would get us in and would do their best. So kind of them as obviously I had made the mistake and we were happy just to get the better table with the promise that the staff would try their best. In the interim all staff were utterly lovely at serving us and dealing with awkward allergy / dietary intolerance requests with the food. We placed our bar bite order and luckily at that time there was a brunch cancellation and they managed to move us in there. The staff had amazing banter and we were affectionately called troublemakers as this would be the 3rd time we were seated (at least we took it affectionately 😂). We really appreciated the effort to get us to the brunch we thought we’d booked as we were really looking forward to it. The staff at the brunch section were so nice and accommodated our restrictions without issue. For reference it was 1 peanut allergy and one gluten / dairy / garlic / onion intolerance (fodmaps). A pain to deal with but no issue for the staff here. We even managed time for an extra bottle of Prosecco in the time we had for the table. When we had to move the staff informed us very politely and offered to do their best to get us another table but at this point my friend and I were two bottles of Prosecco down and ready for home so no issue. In summary, the staff here are utterly fantastic in how they welcomed and accommodated us, especially after booking mishaps and allergy / intolerance complications. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, drink, and atmosphere and would certainly recommend.

Top Christmas lunch. Innovative menu and good service even though busy 👍

1st visit here - wanted somewhere nice with a different range of cocktails (any maybe a little food) as we'd been out earlier in the afternoon. The list of cocktails is fantastic - and it seems the sort of place that if you want something unusual they will probably have the ingredients. The staff were really helpful and friendly (particularly the duty manager) The food menu isn't extensive but the portion sizes are perfect and the food tastes great. Sadly we don't live nearby - but next time we are visiting Glasgow (which is normally once a year) we will definitely be popping back in! If you are thinking of visiting here - just go! :-)

When in for a couple of drinks on 15.11.23 the service was on point also a very cool looking place with lots of good cocktails to choose from , the staff will make any cocktails up for you if it's not on the menu .There's a selection of £5 cocktails on the menu aswell ,would recommend going

Lovely experience with family this evening. Jamie was superb, ensuring we had a table in a quiet area, music was lowered & attention paid to my 80 year old mum's allergies. Great table snacks & fabulous £5 cocktails! Thank you. I'll be back for sure.

Great bar for a drink on a nice occasion

Good cocktails ,nice place but please don't advertise the wild mushroom chow mein as that. Its a bowl of noodles button mushrooms, peas, and a bottle of soy sauce . Way overpriced for basically a pot noodle.

Amazing customer service. One of our party has a severe nut allergy (for the nay sayers no it’s not a modern thing, yes he carries epipens and has undergone hospital testing). The staff here couldn’t have been more helpful. Checked everything we wanted to order, advised and recommended and ensured our cocktails were nut free (you would t believe how many aren’t!). Food: steak, chips, chicken and veg chick pea curry - all fab. Beautifully presented, fresh, hit and full of flavour. Dessert - hit the spot. Again freshly made. Cocktails- beautiful selection with lots of nice touches from glassware to presentation. However. The best bit is the service. Young Irish lady (with beautiful nails!) and guy with beard (maybe a manager?) couldn’t have been more welcoming. We have never visited before and were met at the door with a lady full of smiles who made us feel welcome and included. First time but not the last. Sorry - the nut allergy pests are coming back!

Lovey warm welcome at the door and great service throughout. Lively atmosphere. Cocktails were lush and a bit different. We ordered small plates and they were so good, we just had to get more. Perfectly sized. The Beef Brisket Bon-bons were amazing, and the Salt and Chilli Fries so good we reordered! Karaage Fried Chicken was delicious too. We stayed around 2 hours and did not feel rushed in any way. Will definitely return and have been recommending to friends already!

Misleading menu posted out front. After we were seated we realize they have a modified menu on Thursday night so limited food options for dinner. However the drink menu was great and we enjoyed the sharable appetizers we ordered.

The food was lovely, however, we had expected a wider range of food based on previous experience and the menu on the website.

First visit and will definitely return. Extremely pleasant staff very attentive nothing was a problem. Snack menu had lots of choices and were served at appropriate temperature for each item. The only negative for me was the room temperature was a bit cool for me

The atmosphere was really nice, the decor is dark and its not an overly loud place. The cocktails looked and tasted amazing and the staff were lovely. They even offered to swap out one we didn't like the flavour of. All round we had a lovely night and will definitely be back!

Booked for a 30th birthday. We arrived a bit earlier but they already had our table set up. Fab range of cocktails and mocktails (which I really appreciated). Service was excellent.

Great and fancy environment! We went there because there vegetarian options at the menu, but when we came , they were not available. Drinks menu is extensive and good. We end up eating, and the food was ok. Service requires more training.

Really nice place to have drinks. Would advise to book a table. We were sat at the doorway and the waiter moved us to the bar as it was getting colder. All the staff were very friendly and chatted away. Cocktails were amazing. Whisky selection is huge. Didn't have a meal or food.

The automatic service charge on top of your drinks is a bit off putting. Drinks themselves were fine but nothing to set them apart from alternatives cocktail bars. Venue was generally quite nice but we had a drip from the ceiling next to us that wasn’t exactly ideal. Staff friendly enough.

Popped in on a Sunday night, bar was very quiet which let the atmosphere down. Great selection of drinks. Plenty of cocktails to choose from and a massive selection of Malt Whisky, Gin's and Rums. Would need to come back on a busier night to give it a fair review.

Nice bar, great cocktails. I recommend the Jammier Dodger and the Tiki fire :) Although I didn't try, we did see a couple of people with the lobster roll and it looked amazing.

I wanted to contact my dead granny, it's a hidden treasure kind of thing, when I got therethey explained they're more of a restaurant. So I just got a steak instead. I still have no idea where my granny left all those old coins though.

Lovely bar and server was very friendly and helpful. That is the end of the positives. The food menu was the most basic of anywhere I have ever been. Very little choice. My wife had a few cocktails. The cocktail glasses were so small. Very little alcohol considering it was about £11 a drink. My wife had a drink with candy floss on top but no taste and only a few sips. For her next drink she decided to have a mojito which is always a large glass. She did get a large glass but it was all ice and again no alcohol. I have attached a photo of the glass after she finished and you can see there was no room for a drink. We decided to leave after this and went to The Alchemist a similar cocktail bar. Prices much the same but drinks were far superior. This is not a review from a young person looking to get drunk but from a middle aged couple having a relaxing day out. Would never go back.

Oh no no no. Walked in and within 5 minutes left again. Poor service. Told at door if its just drinks you want you're on this side of the bar, then you're just left to try and find a table when it's mobbed. People grabbing chairs from other tables trying to sort out their own seating arrangements. Tacky commercial music, sticky tables and a queue as long as your arm. Queues are fine when people aren't all ordering cocktails that take a lot of time! Absolutely no organisational skills in the place! I'd as well been in a weatherspoons! Why is this place so hyped up??

I was here last night with a friend for the first time, and it was a fabulous evening. Staff immediately on arrival were warm and friendly, food was delicious and the staff could not have been anymore helpful. Will definitely be back again.

We had pre dinner drinks in here on a Sunday, the place was very quiet, I’m not sure if that’s typical for a Sunday or if that’s because most people were at Transmit but either way it was good for us as we were able to chat without shouting. It’s got a modern chic vibe and a great range of drinks available, we ordered a couple of drinks that weren’t on the menu without any issues, we also had a bowl of fries to snack on which were very nice. The service was very friendly but maybe a little slow and the prices seemed fair enough.

Great experience! Everyone is so friendly there, totally worth to visit when you are visiting Glasgow or on your night out!

Nice wee bar for chilled out drinks and food

Just popped in for cocktails, but everyone was lovely.

Waited15 mins for two drinks one of which was a bottle of cider. The door female came to our table after we complained for payment was very unapologetic with minimum of chat. We were late for dinner booking. Incapable of efficient service as the bar was half empty at the time. They did discount our bill but sorry won’t be back.

Had a great afternoon celebrating my sons 18th birthday.

We went in for a few cocktails and the service from Jamie was great. He made us some that are not even on the menu now. He made sure we were ok until we left. We love a wee drink in there and still yet to try the food but we will.

Finally got to visit here and try some cocktails, been wanting to come for ages. Was impressed! The girl serving us was nice and helpful. Would love to come back again soon and even try the food next time.

Really underwhelming, feels like "style" over substance. Cocktails were ok but nothing special. Food was mediocre. Tacos were ok but had shop bought guacamole in them. Salmon was a bit bland and tasted frozen. Flaming skull dessert was not worth the hype, a lot of theatre for nothing, just a basic white chocolate skull that didn't melt with chopped up strawberries inside. Service was good though. Really tacky sign on the way to the bathrooms too.

Another rainy night in Glasgow, we stumbled into here. It was colorful and loud! Difficult to hear the staff. Food was good. Nothing spectacular, but good. Glad we found a restaurant that wasn’t pub fare.

One of my absolute favourite bars in Glasgow. Decorated beautifully, with such a great vibe no matter what night I've visited. The staff are very attentive, the wine is lovely and it's just simply head and shoulders above the majority of its competitors.

Drinks were great but that’s where the issue lay - we had booked a table for 8 pm on open table fully expecting to go for a meal and drinks. At no point did it alert us that the kitchen closed at 8pm ! We were left looking for another place to eat, I was a little disappointed as I was really looking forward to the meal there.

Beautifully decorated, with a decent drinks menu and a vast array of spirits available. The service was attentive and friendly but a bit slow to return for repeat orders. We had a few cocktails between us and everyone enjoyed their choices. I’m not sure the bubbling/dry ice element of my cocktail worked… It can be a pricey place to visit, but this reflects the surroundings.

I’ve recently started to dip my toe into the world of cocktails and came across Spiritualist whilst visiting Glasgow with my partner who is already a lover of cocktails.Couldn’t get enough of their Tropical Bird cocktail

Beautiful decor inside. Decent selection in the cocktail menu and was good to see a focus on being a bit different rather than sticking to yhe traditionals! Price, on average, I would suggest is just slightly above that of similar establishments but really not by much. Table service, which is handy. Staff were cery friendly and attentive.
