A Absolutely fantastic place to sit and enjoy superb cocktails,this was our 1st visit and I would highly recommend you give it a visit.

Would have scored 4 or 5 had i not returned after a meal to ask if they had a table for drinks. Server at the front didn't even give me the good grace to speak or apologise, just shook his head when I asked whether they had a table.

Food was ok several items were so cold like frozen when asked if this was how they should have been told no but thanks for the feed back ! Steak frites steak was cold peas and chips on fish supper cold. Waitress doesn’t know anything about the dishes and was chewing gum very obviously while taking order. Water served in a dirty dusty bottle. Made to wait for over an hour for table even though open table would have had us booked in under 15 mins ? Bartenders very professional and accommodating. Pity about rest of staff .

Food was nice, drinks are good but expensive however I found the service very slow.

Always friendly service. Absolutely excellent cocktails and not too pricey. Love the atmosphere, and would highly recommend for cocktails!

A great night, however one area for improvement; the orders for drinks are taken promptly with servers attending to the table regularly, however the drinks orders were very slow to arrive. An example of how slow, there were 9 in our party and there was not a glass on the table, the servers had removed the empty glasses yet we had not received the drinks order placed 20minutes earlier. We did receive an apology and a free bottle of wine, so the management were gracious in their apology. Like I said a great night was has by all.

Fish was full of bones, when I complained I was ignored. 1 meal was ok . 2 persons visited expensive experience

Decepcionado con el servicio (nadie preguntó si todo estaba bien con la comida) esta habría sido una oportunidad que podría haber dicho que el pescado rebozado estaba lleno de huesos y el precio no reflejaba la calidad del pescado. En la recogida de platos, le hice saber al camarero por qué no me comía el pescado que él ignoraba voluntariamente. No se dan disculpas. Al recibir la factura nos habían cobrado por una comida que no se había comido. Ninguna oferta de reembolso o rectificación en este caso. Ni siquiera una disculpa.

Great lively bar to visit in the heart of Glasgow!

¡Vine por el brunch de alcohol y no dijo que era nada para delirar! Algunos de nuestros amigos piden el pan de jengibre y fue horrible! Las porciones eran tan pequeñas y solo tenías una lista de cócteles para elegir (5 / 6 en total) que contenían Prosecco, ¡así que no había una gran variedad! No me apresuraría a volver y creo que es una gran relación calidad-precio (£ 64. 20 por un pequeño brunch, cócteles horribles y un pequeño lado de cerdos en mantas ... podría conseguir una comida de 3 platos más bebidas para eso! )

Great service by the lad with dark hair and the full neck tattoo. Went the extra mile making us coffees at 10pm and brought them out to us so we didn’t have to wait at the busy bar. And so friendly and polite. Give this guy a bonus! ⭐️

Popped in last night, great cocktail made by the bar man, gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup shaken, served in a dainty glass lovely.

What a great hidden treasure on miller street. Top suggestion is to try the chicken parmigiana. The drinks on offer are great and some great coffee too.

Closed for private events both Monday and Tuesday when google otherwise says it's open. Wish they would better communicate it's not available

When in for a couple of drinks on 15.11.23 the service was on point also a very cool looking place with lots of good cocktails to choose from , the staff will make any cocktails up for you if it's not on the menu .There's a selection of £5 cocktails on the menu aswell ,would recommend going Visted again on 20.11.24 again very good service and great cocktails ,a good wee evening out with quick service.

Meredith was our waitress, she was so lovely and made our experience at The Spiritualist amazing! Will definitely be back soon!

OMG ¡Qué experiencia humillante e innecesariamente confrontativa! Recibí un correo electrónico a principios de semana invitándome a visitar para probar el nuevo menú a una tarifa con descuento. Como mi prometido y yo íbamos a comprar nuestros anillos de boda más tarde esa semana reservé para un almuerzo tardío. Llegamos a un lugar vacío y pesebre (? ) a una mesa en su portátil. Cuando estaba sentado mencioné la oferta y me miró con desprecio. Dijo que no sabía nada de esto y me pidió que mostrara el correo electrónico que había recibido. Se fue y me dio un minuto para encontrar el correo electrónico. No pude, a pesar de que tenía la reserva de OpenTable. En resumen, fue firme en que no sabía nada de la oferta. Dije que pagaríamos por nuestra bebida y no queríamos comida. Él era defensivo, desdeñoso y al final nos hizo sentir incómodos. Él dijo que las bebidas estaban en la casa, pero insistí en pagar, ya que me había hecho sentir como un chancero barato. ¡Incluso eso fue incómodo! Big Boo. I came here to celebrate my best friends birthday with her, the service, atmosphere and drinks were amazing! The place is decorated beautifully and the drinks are reasonably priced for their presentation and taste. Staff were so lovely and welcoming, I found one of the drinks a bit too strong and I'm not the type of person to ever complain or cause a scene and one of the staff asked if I didn't enjoy it when she came over and kindly asked the manager not to charge me for it without me having to request anything. Definitely coming back again! 😊

We were here last night (Friday) and it was excellent. Great service, lovely atmosphere and must say - one of the best DJs of anywhere we’ve been in Glasgow. Every song really hit the mark and he was super friendly when we asked if we could request a song. Would definitely come back just to sit and listen to the music.

My friend and I visited Halloween weekend, and the staff were all dressed for the occasion, as was the venue. There was a great atmosphere and plenty of food and drink choices. The food was incredible, especially their kilted sausages, and the cocktails were fun, interactive, and tasted amazing. Will definitely be returning!

Quite disappointed that you can now only get Cold Town beer here and only then two choices. The taste wasn't for me, and to be honest I doubt that I will be back.

Didn’t have food this time, however the £5.00 Sweet Manhattan was fabulous and the dry martini to finish was perfect. Great bar staff, Alex and Mads made me feel so welcome when I was on my own. Meredith made sure I was sorted at the bar, helped me decide on what cocktails to order. I’ll be back again!

Visited on a Saturday night and got a table relatively quickly. Table beside us had their order taken at the table within minutes of sitting. Asked a server if we could order and was told it was bar service only. When we told the server the table next to us had their order taken at the table he looked at us blankly and then walked off without any explanation. Proceeded to the bar where we were greeted by a pleasant bartender who served us efficiently. Will still come back but clarity around how to order would have been appreciated and would have resulted in us ordering a few more drinks

Dropped in for cocktails with family. There was a great range of drinks however, we were a bit disappointed with the tasting/ quality. Service was prompt and friendly.

Myself and my friends had booked this place as it had good reviews and would be a good place to catch up, however the experience was not what we expected, we had literally sat down and was told we only had the table till 5pm , thereafter we were approached multiple times by the same waitress saying the same thing and it was extremely off putting we could not enjoy our drinks, we actually never got to finish our last drink as we were getting rushed to pay and leave , there was the waitress wanting us to leave and a waiter asking if we wanted more drinks, we brought our concerns to the person who brought the bill but she did not seem to care what so ever. We will not be back here.

Have tried the weekend boozy brunch twice now and would go again and again. Such great friendly staff and service. The food and cocktail options as part of the brunch are fantastic and excellent value for money. Highly recommend the steak and eggs. Well done everyone 👌🏼

Shocking bar no teníamos reserva, que estaba bien y nos dijeron que estaba bien para tomar bebidas en el bar. Esperé más de 20 minutos y no servida preguntó a uno de los miembros del personal que hace servicio de mesa si estaba bien pedir bebidas con ella y me dijeron que necesitaré obtener permiso. En serio, el total se desmorona allí 30 minutos y se fue sin haber sido servido. Tantos bares buenos en Glasgow y este definitivamente no es uno de ellos mi consejo evitar.

Open until 12am, arrived at 11.25 for a drink following a concert and was turned away. Don't advertise a time if you close over half an hour before.

Fui a tomar una copa. La chica dijo que no hay mesas, solo bebidas en el bar. Todas las mesas que están vacías están reservadas. Está bien, dijimos... Fuimos al bar y había dos taburetes disponibles. Así que nos sentamos. La misma señora volvió y dijo de una manera descarada que no se puede sentar allí. Solo está en pie... siento no habernos dado cuenta de que los taburetes del bar también estaban reservados. Así que nos paramos en el bar para que nos atendieran... después de unos minutos otra camarera dijo que no puedes pararte allí para que te atiendan - aunque más abajo en el bar decía que no había servicio después de este punto y no estábamos ni cerca de ese punto... Dije . pero el bar está vacío aquí ... Sé que ella dijo pero tienes que pararte en la parte superior de la barra a pesar de que dice que puedes pararte aquí en realidad no puedes ... . . sabes lo que vamos a ir a otro lugar para tomar una copa ... . . . Si el servicio y la manera son importantes para usted evitaría este lugar. . Luego fuimos a Brown's en George Square, donde el personal fue agradable y acogedor para tomar una copa ...

No puedo fallar nada. Deliciosos y novedosos cócteles junto con un excelente servicio hicieron una gran visita. Los cócteles no son baratos, pero vale la pena el dinero.

Cannot say enough good things about the staff and atmosphere. We came here for brunch the first day of our trip as it was almost next door to our hotel, and so glad we did! Immediately greeted by friendly staff that helped us pick out some delicious cocktails, even getting a sneak peek at a new menu creation. We enjoyed ourselves and the drinks so much we came back on our last night for just cocktails. Try the rhubarbara Streisand, raspberry beret, Snapple pop, or the up in the air! We had mocktail versions as well and they were just lovely! A total must stop for Glasgow and we look forward to a return visit ! We now know why the quote around town is “people make Glasgow” because this cocktail bar made our trip 🤩🫶

I have been here several times, sometimes for a date night or for a night out with friends. It is a gorgeous bar. Every cocktail I have ordered has been delicious and beautifully created. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Really appealing interior design, extremely friendly service, and a great selection of cocktails far beyond the usual you get everywhere. A great place for tasting something different :-)

Some really good cocktails and centrally located if out in Glasgow are the positives. The downs are the terrible process of limiting you to a maximum time in the venue. Four people can only sit drinking cocktails for 2 hours! But what's worse is when server with still around 30-40 mins to go takes time to come over to remind you that you're due to leave soon, how not to make folk welcome. We're not looking to sit all day and get drunk but surely it would make more sense to allow a group who are spending money on what is not cheap drinks book for the time they need.

Visited for the boozy brunch option and this was my first time visiting I was impressed. Service was really good, Sarah couldn’t do enough for us. It was good value for money, cocktails were beautifully presented and delicious, especially nanas jam.

The ambience and the vibe were good.we were greeted with a friendly smile at the door and told if we didn't have a reservation then no tables were free!we could be served at the bar however.once you are served though there's nowhere really for you to go so after consulting with the wait staff we stood awkwardly beside a free booth that said it was reserved at 3pm( which we had been told was free) till some bar stools came free.i stood and my 2 friends sat.when another bar stool came free i popped it between my 2 friends chairs but I was told I couldn't sit there.so they moved out and I pulled my chair in.Then she told us again we couldn't sit there as these seats were bookable and AGAIN she said there was a free booth over the other side to which I retorted no it says its reserved. We were finally left in peace to enjoy our drinks. So to summarise - great atmosphere, bar staff really nice and work their socks off, fair play to them they were churning those cocktails out!!Extensive cocktail menu for ALL tastes AND I had a lovely long vodka but if u go on a Saturday afternoon book a table or you will be harassed beyond belief!!!

Wildly underwhelming and overpriced cocktails, mediocre food, ambivalent service. Couldn't make a proper Cosmo, later a signature cocktail which featured a pastry garnish came without. When questioned, was told they’d run out. I was later brought a handful of quality streets to make up for it. Toilets were in a shocking state, but it was a Saturday night in Glasgow so I’ll give that a pass.

Went here at 12;30 for a boozy brunch with some friend. Had a breakfast bagel really nice and 3 cocktails. The cocktails were limited to 3 types but each had different flavours. It was about £45 ish for a bagel and 3 drinks a bit on the expensive side but no faults with the actual food and drinks we got. Good service

Delicious cocktails...with one exception! We tried four different cocktails between us, 3 were delicious but beware the Sticky Toffee Old Fashioned...basically tasted like an expensive glass of Buckie!! Great service and some really entertaining pours!

First of all the cocktail menu is impressive, it has a wide range of creative and expertly made drinks. Each cocktail we tried was a delight, both visually and in flavor. The food was equally excellent. The small plates we shared were particularly delicious. A night out to regroup with the girls? Get yourselves to The Spiritualist

The bar is a lovely place to have a drink, stylish but comfy. The drinks selection is good and the staff helpful/ The cocktails were enjoyed by the women in our group.

Really beautiful Venue with great cocktails Have a big selection of different drinks and many of them come with really exciting garnishes The service is super friendly and was also quite quick We also tried some of the food, our favourites were the sliders! Will definitely come back next time I am in Glasgow

Went for cocktails and as always, they were incredible! Particularly the sticky toffee old fashioned 🤤. This place never disappoints.

First time in Glasgow and saw the bar on Google maps, blown away by what we got. The new menu just launched and we ordered the influence, brought our with a bottle of the cocktail with two glasses and a ring light and we got to take photos and videos for as long as we wanted. The staff including the host on the door was so nice and accommodating, honestly the best customer service and place I've visited

Our waiter Rab was on top Form and very knowledgeable in the drinks selection, done everything with a welcoming smile. Will be back

Found this by accident while wandering on a shopping trip. Great tapas style bar food. 3 for 20 offer and boozy brunch offers when we arrived. Stuck with the tapas. More than enough food in this deal. Wings were very good. Really nice place will definitely use again.

Booked for Mother’s Day- atmosphere was absolutely dead! Service was extremely slow and what looked like a table of 4, for me and my mum, ended up being a table of 2- had another mother and daughter sitting, what felt like on our lap, despite there being many empty tables. They also add on a 10% service charge which is an absolute joke for how long it took to order 2 drinks. Could hear members of staff swearing whenever the phone rang, abhorrent service and atmosphere. Drinks also far too expensive. Will not be going back

We booked a table for my birthday yet as it was busy somehow still ended up away in the corner at the bar. I feel this place gets a lot of hype . but first time going it wasn't what I expected. I felt there was no atmosphere, the was not the best and unfortunately the cocktails weren't all that ( own personal opinion obviously )

Good food, we had various small plates from the bar bites menu and all dishes were very tasty. Service, although everyone was polite and helpful, was slow. I would recommend ordering your next drink when you receive the first. The cocktails are a bit on the disappointing side. They taste great but not so much fan and flare that you would expect from somewhere like the Spiritualist. The only real fan fare cocktails were made with dry ice and they had run out, so no show with the cocktails. We did get a discount on our bill due to the disappointment. Unfortunately for us, the experience wasn’t what we expected it to be

Popped in for cocktails and they were lovely. Table service was great, our waiter was quick and the be staff delivered the excellent cocktails pretty quickly.

The service was a bit slow to start and tables are very very close together so it was a bit awkward. We felt very rushed for a place that is meant to be a bar. Towards the middle of our time at the table we kept getting reminded how long we had left which was ruining our time a wee bit. The cocktails we ordered were the same ones but tasted different every new one we got I wouldn’t go back because of how rushed it was and how we felt like we couldn’t really relax and ended up going to a different cocktail bar. If it weren’t for this we might have enjoyed it quite a lot. The amount of money we paid as well, I would probably not recommend to friends.

Amazing experience! I thought I had booked boozy brunch (not going to lie, blaming the website), but we hadn’t so I arrived, was greeted by the wonderful staff and seated outside. The staff informed me that boozy brunch couldn’t be had outside when I mentioned this is what we were here for. No problem as the lovely staff managed to seat my friend and I inside but not in the brunch bit as this was full but had mentioned if there was a cancellation they would get us in and would do their best. So kind of them as obviously I had made the mistake and we were happy just to get the better table with the promise that the staff would try their best. In the interim all staff were utterly lovely at serving us and dealing with awkward allergy / dietary intolerance requests with the food. We placed our bar bite order and luckily at that time there was a brunch cancellation and they managed to move us in there. The staff had amazing banter and we were affectionately called troublemakers as this would be the 3rd time we were seated (at least we took it affectionately 😂). We really appreciated the effort to get us to the brunch we thought we’d booked as we were really looking forward to it. The staff at the brunch section were so nice and accommodated our restrictions without issue. For reference it was 1 peanut allergy and one gluten / dairy / garlic / onion intolerance (fodmaps). A pain to deal with but no issue for the staff here. We even managed time for an extra bottle of Prosecco in the time we had for the table. When we had to move the staff informed us very politely and offered to do their best to get us another table but at this point my friend and I were two bottles of Prosecco down and ready for home so no issue. In summary, the staff here are utterly fantastic in how they welcomed and accommodated us, especially after booking mishaps and allergy / intolerance complications. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, drink, and atmosphere and would certainly recommend.

Top Christmas lunch. Innovative menu and good service even though busy 👍

1st visit here - wanted somewhere nice with a different range of cocktails (any maybe a little food) as we'd been out earlier in the afternoon. The list of cocktails is fantastic - and it seems the sort of place that if you want something unusual they will probably have the ingredients. The staff were really helpful and friendly (particularly the duty manager) The food menu isn't extensive but the portion sizes are perfect and the food tastes great. Sadly we don't live nearby - but next time we are visiting Glasgow (which is normally once a year) we will definitely be popping back in! If you are thinking of visiting here - just go! :-)

Lovely experience with family this evening. Jamie was superb, ensuring we had a table in a quiet area, music was lowered & attention paid to my 80 year old mum's allergies. Great table snacks & fabulous £5 cocktails! Thank you. I'll be back for sure.

Great bar for a drink on a nice occasion

Good cocktails ,nice place but please don't advertise the wild mushroom chow mein as that. Its a bowl of noodles button mushrooms, peas, and a bottle of soy sauce . Way overpriced for basically a pot noodle.

Amazing customer service. One of our party has a severe nut allergy (for the nay sayers no it’s not a modern thing, yes he carries epipens and has undergone hospital testing). The staff here couldn’t have been more helpful. Checked everything we wanted to order, advised and recommended and ensured our cocktails were nut free (you would t believe how many aren’t!). Food: steak, chips, chicken and veg chick pea curry - all fab. Beautifully presented, fresh, hit and full of flavour. Dessert - hit the spot. Again freshly made. Cocktails- beautiful selection with lots of nice touches from glassware to presentation. However. The best bit is the service. Young Irish lady (with beautiful nails!) and guy with beard (maybe a manager?) couldn’t have been more welcoming. We have never visited before and were met at the door with a lady full of smiles who made us feel welcome and included. First time but not the last. Sorry - the nut allergy pests are coming back!

Lovey warm welcome at the door and great service throughout. Lively atmosphere. Cocktails were lush and a bit different. We ordered small plates and they were so good, we just had to get more. Perfectly sized. The Beef Brisket Bon-bons were amazing, and the Salt and Chilli Fries so good we reordered! Karaage Fried Chicken was delicious too. We stayed around 2 hours and did not feel rushed in any way. Will definitely return and have been recommending to friends already!

Misleading menu posted out front. After we were seated we realize they have a modified menu on Thursday night so limited food options for dinner. However the drink menu was great and we enjoyed the sharable appetizers we ordered.

The food was lovely, however, we had expected a wider range of food based on previous experience and the menu on the website.
