Lucca served our table tonight, and his service was outstanding.

Lovely spot for a drink in the sun, great cocktails. Bartenders Ciaran and Callum were friendly and made my friend and I some great espresso martinis, will be back the next time I’m out in the town for a drink.

Me and my friend came for a wee cuppa tea and a bite to eat we were served by Cara she was friendly helpful and really quick made our experience really good. Food and drinks where good and came quite fast would recommend

A bit embarrassing when you have just put someone in a recovery position and the bouncers won't let you in... sorry for being trained in first aid... if the manager of this business takes the time to view this, I hope immediate action takes place because why am I at fault for saving someone's life.... an embarrassment of a company. Sort it out...

Fabulous Bruch with the girls🎉 we arrived just after 12 and Kayleigh greeted us and showed us to our table, she was fab very friendly and recommended dishes to us! I booked a cocktail master class for my cousins 18th birthday. Our bartenders were Ava & Callum were our servers and delivered 5 star service. They helped us throughout the full class & made sure we had everything we needed. Our class wouldn’t have been as good without them. Full of laughs !!

Came into Social for a cocktail master class. Ava was fab, very friendly and happy to answer many cocktail related questions. Certified vibe check, great atmosphere and friendly staff serving all right food. But if you're there when the weather's nice you have to reserve a table and specify you want one outside, keep in mind they're extremely close together and it'll take ages to get your drink and food served because those poor wait staff are run off their feet 👍🏻

Came in for a couple of cocktails with some work friends, was recommended the half price cocktails by Ava, great deal! We had an amazing night, will definitely be back.

Served by Ava, super nice and friendly girl with great customer service skills, ordered around 5 or 6 cocktails and they where all amazing, easily one of the top places for a night out in glasgow.

Había oído cosas buenas sobre The Social así que vinieron esta tarde a tomar una copa y un pequeño aperitivo. Después de esperar a que me sentaran el servidor, aunque muy amable, parecía desconcertado de que estuviera solo y me dirigió al edificio para encontrar mi propio asiento donde ella dijo que me servirían. Después de 20 minutos de haber sido ignorado estudiosamente fui al bar a pedir que me dijeran que me servirían más rápido si me mudaba al otro lado del bar. Esto significaba dejar mi bolso y las cosas desatendidas y fuera del lugar - cuando le expliqué esto al miembro del personal me recibieron con los ojos en blanco y un suspiro. Huelga decir que me fui y fui al lado de Kong, donde actualmente estoy disfrutando de un servicio amable y una bebida sabrosa.

Girl called ava, got along at first until she started being flirty, I told her I’m happily married and she kept telling me how she finishes soon and would like me to go back to hers. I told her no several times, so she refused to serve me at the bar ( aswell as gossiping to her colleagues telling them not to serve me ) “ paedo “ was the words she used to describe me as I’m out with my work colleagues. Tuve la mejor experiencia de hoy en el Social. Suelo tomar un mojito cuando salgo, pero algunos lugares pueden hacerlo diferente, así que a veces puede ser una decepción. Le dije esto a la Gerente de turno y ella dijo que me haría la mejor que he tenido y no me decepcionó! Ella puso un paraguas en ella, así como estábamos bromeando sobre la necesidad de unas vacaciones. ¡Son solo las pequeñas cosas que la gente puede hacer para alegrarte el día! Sin duda volveremos gracias a Hannah. Gran establecimiento y lo recomendaría a cualquiera. 10 / 10 servicio y bebidas.

Had after-works drinks here in a group of 20 people, with a tab set up. Eilidh was an absolute star looking after us, and our glasses were never empty for long! Nothing was too much trouble for her 😊 t Thank you!

We came here for a birthday meal and drinks. We were approached by waitress 3 times within about 10 mins to see if we were ready to order. (Did feel rushed considering it was empty) we'd picked the toasted sandwich this was tasteless, we'd ordered side portion of chips and onion rings. The onion rings were like a deep fried ball, certainly was not the shape of a onion ring. They were dripping with oil. We also waited a while for the food to come out. It was certainly not value for money.

A Go-to-Place became a major Disappointment yesterday. Although I was there with my husband, I felt unsafe in the vicinity. Socials authorities say-“Socials operate- a policy where any patrons entering the venue in the evening must be accompanied by someone. This is in the interest of safety.” The security/bouncers were extremely rude and used swear words with us, misunderstanding our Anger with our intoxication. When we reported the incident of mistreatment (I was inappropriately touched) by a man inside Socials, their way of handling the situation was appalling. The security/bouncers should be able to differentiate whether a person is drunk or angry. The security guards’ behavior is unacceptable; I felt we were the victims of racism.

Hidden gem of Glasgow! We had decided to try this place when over for a weekend break and we were pleasantly surprised! We knew this place was classed as a 'cocktail bar' on Google but did not realise that the food would be as amazing as it was! We loved the food here and it came out in a timely manner, just our sides were forgotten but corrected. Our food order was varied including a pasta and burger dishes and both were amazing with loads of flavour and great portions. Our desserts were also a surprise as it was a twist on the traditional banoffee pie and it was incredible. We got ourselves cocktails also and they lived up to the hype, especially the solero! Will definitely be back! :)

Sandwich was lovely hubby had fish n chips however batter was burnt I feel they batch cook then reheat reason batter was burnt/ overcooked and hubby not one to complain. You buy drink and food which is included in the service - how3ver they added on 10% service charge! Why? As service is included in the price you already paid for re meals n drinks. I asked for it to be removed which they did. For that reason I will not return

Drinks are amazing but the bar tender was very very rude, seemed very inconvenient for him to make us a drink. :(

This restaurant is just a barbecue bar, and it is not expensive, this is a personal discrimination and racial discrimination!! The waiter told me that I was alone so I was not allowed in, but there was a woman sitting at the door who came alone. I asked why she could come alone, and the waiter told me that I was not allowed to come alone after six o 'clock. When I asked where the rules came from, he started rolling his eyes at me and then ignored me. It's ridiculous！Shame on you！The management must be mean people to make these unreasonable rules, many people complained this rule and the dress code rules, you just a cheap restaurant, I have been many fantastic luxury restaurant, never have seen such a ridiculous rule. Please stop emphasizing your absurd and rude rules to guests. These rules are completely unfounded. Have you seen how many negative reviews you've received because of them? It's ridiculous. Your security says that no one is allowed to dine alone after six o'clock. This rule clearly restricts personal freedom and is a violation of rights. If every restaurant had such an unintelligent rule, claiming it's unsafe for someone to dine alone, does that mean people dining alone have no right to eat in restaurants or walk the streets at night? I am not here to drink alcohol. I am a working adult. Even if I were to go to a bar alone in the early morning hours, I would not be refused service. What gives you the right to refuse me? You are a bunch of discriminatory people who do not consider human rights. I've seen many complaints about your rules in the reviews. Why are you so harsh? If you truly cared about your customers, you would consider their feelings and why they might be hungry. I am very curious about the basis for your rules. I asked your security guard, but he couldn't give me an answer and instead rolled his eyes at me. I have never encountered such a stupid rule. This is not only about the rule itself but also about the attitude of your security staff. I simply wanted to know why others can dine alone inside, but I cannot. I strongly suspect racial discrimination, as your security not only refused me entry but also ignored me, rolled his eyes, and impatiently told me to leave.

Good day and staff couldn't do enough to help and everything was done with a smile especially at this time of year well done guys

Came in last night for a few drinks for Christmas night out . The male toilet seemed to be the place to get drugs !! Two guys in there the whole time night obviously dealing . Numerous bouncers told of this . Nothing happened at all . Will never be back . Sad reflection on Glasgow .

The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Especially to Kayleigh our server! The drink menu offered a creative variety of cocktails, craft beers, and fine spirits, and everything we tried was top-notch. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink after work or spending the evening catching up with friends, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great bar experience!

Came in for christmas dinner with my family and i was blown away by the food and service! So accommodating for kids as well with pencils for them to keep busy with. The drinks were delish too!

Service was amazing! Staff are so friendly and couldn’t be any more helpful. We loved every cocktail we tried and enjoyed the small plates we ordered too! The mushroom tempura and pigs in blankets were our favs! Will definitely be back :)

Was here on Saturday night with my friends and had the best night. The girl behind the bar, I think her name was Kayla, was amazing and really made our experience even better!!! I would defo recommend this place and have already planned a night out in the new year again!!

Had a lovely lunch while Christmas shopping in town yesterday with my friends. The new christmas winter drinks were unbelievable and the staff were amazing! The Manager Hannah was really accommodating and friendly and made the experience extra special by recommending food and drinks that we would like. We wiłł 100% be back!

This is the second time we've been here for festive drinks and again we were not disappointed. The drinks were great and reasonably priced and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Came today for lunch on our Xmas day out with our baby. When met at the front door the waiter had said that before we sit down for lunch we must order a main meal each as we have a child with us and that was the policy. That was ok, we understood this as it was a pub we were in. We then ordered our drinks, were given a high chair for our baby and ordered our food. Although nothing was said to us directly, the vibe and feeling we got was that we were unwanted ?due to having a baby with us. Unsure why as the place wasn’t exactly busy. We then ordered our meals and that was fine. 5 minutes had passed and the waitress had came up to us and said that the kitchen was “busy” and it would be some wait for food, maybe around 30 minutes and they understand if we had to leave. Again, feeling unwelcome we decided not to wait and just leave. Before we even got a mouth out of drinks we were then placed with the bill for our drinks and told “not to rush away” however strange since the food was going to be 30mins? Not impressed. After speaking the ?manager he began to explain that it was due to only 2 chefs on and it being busy due to Christmas bookings? To be honest the vibe and unfriendly manner of the place has put me off returning especially with my child. If they don’t want children in a restaurant then don’t accommodate with high chairs etc. However Di Maggio’s next door was much more welcoming with staff and atmosphere so I would go next door instead.

Was in for my Christmas night out. Truly a shambles. We arrived at 2 and got seated on time, was reminded they required the table back by 4 which was no problem. Didn't get our first course of soup until 3.30. The staff who were getting drinks were very overwhelmed and I genuinely felt sorry for them as there just wasn't enough. Vibe is not one my team or I will be going back to. Very disappointed.

Had poor service drink order wrong 3 times Chicken fajitas inedible chicken was tough. Macaroni cheese very little sauce and then was charged a 10% service charge which we were not informed of and there was no sign saying this would be applied

Had a lovely experience at the social this weekend. Took ma wee mum and she loved it too. Stunning girl behind the bar, kinda looked like maura off the jungle. Think her name was Bella. She was wonderful, gave us wonderful advice on the cocktail menu and gave ma wee mum a mocktail. Was absolutely wonderful. Music too loud tho! Couldne hear me ma

Very nice cocktails! The Solero was delicious. Food was very tasty, especially the chips and onion rings. Good central location and a nice lively atmosphere! The bar area is beautiful. Really nicely decorated for Christmas too! Will be back

I was there for the second time. I was unpleasantly surprised. I ordered 3 drinks. I was supposed to pay 24 pounds. I asked for the bill but the lady behind the bar said that the bill machine was not working. After an hour I ordered the same drinks and the price was 29 pounds. I don't know what's going on but I have the impression that the barman charges however he wants

Bought a ticket for Cafe Mambo Halloween, turn up at the Social and was refused entry by the rude door staff. Will never return to the place. I have been there on numerous occasions. A total waste of time and money. If I could give it zero score I would have. Avoid at all costs.

So today I booked a table for a night out with my wife, albeit this is for November. But I just wanted to leave this review for the booking process. The booking was so easy to do online, confirmation emails sent. I then contacted through Facebook Messenger. Morgan quickly responded, and can I just say her customer service was nothing short of exceptional. First class service guys, and a special mention again to Morgan for here professionalism.

We stopped here for Saturday lunch and really enjoyed the vibe in the restaurant. It was busy with shoppers and others calling in for lunch, clearly a popular place. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the service great. Would certainly recommend!

The drinks were fine, although service was slow. The toilets are tiny and in terrible condition. Some of the doors don't lock, or don't even fit into the door frame anymore.

Came as a group of 13 for a cocktail masterclass, our host Abby was fantastic kept us entertained and showed us great cocktails to make, food was lovely and we were looked after well. Definitely recommend.

We attended the Beetlejuice Cocktail Masterclass for my 30th Birthday. Abby Smith was our host throughout the evening, dressed as Beetlejuice she was definitely in character! Abby also made sure we all had a great time by keeping everything flowing seamlessly. We had such a great evening filled with beautiful cocktails, food, good music & laughs.

Did not eat here as popped in to shelter from rain after a red eye flight. Lovely spot for lunch gets busy young crowd later. Great service and friendly in the city heart.

Trendy bar selling cocktails and food with the odd package deal for both. Nice atmosphere, nice staff and love the decor, could be a bit cleaner and fresher throughout. Sure I've had a late night drink in here more than once! Love the mirror cubicle in the ladies and the mirror photo wall.

Avoid here for dinner, service is terrible! Waited so long to be served for drinks and food. Then it just got worse, ignored all night to order drinks. We tried to order a coffee at 19.40 to be told it was too late the coffee machine was closed for the night. Ok place for a cocktail if you go to the bar yourself but AVOID eating here. Plenty of nicer places to eat close by with much better food and excellent service.
