Much improvement from last visit. Access easier and service quicker.well done.

Absolutamente gran lugar para comida y bebidas, visitado un montón de veces y nunca han sido decepcionados! El personal es siempre tan amable y atento y la comida es increíble, siempre una gran selección de nuevas ofertas especiales de comida también! ¡Un pub fantástico para comer o beber!

Hemos ido al Montford tan a menudo desde que nos mudamos a Glasgow hace aproximadamente un año y puedo decir con confianza que es el mejor pub y restaurante en el que hemos estado aquí. El personal siempre está dispuesto a ir más allá para acomodarnos, ya sea solo para bebidas o para la comida también. Son tan amables y siempre dispuestos a reírse. Nunca hay un momento aburrido allí. Siempre están mostrando los deportes también, y con 7 u 8 pantallas, no hay preocupaciones si hay dos partidos al mismo tiempo. ¡Nunca te perderás un ritmo! ¡Tienen una cervecería al frente y una al fondo también por si todo esto no fuera suficiente! La comida en el restaurante nunca es nada menos que excepcional. Los chefs John y Scott son increíbles en lo que hacen. John siempre sale a charlar con nosotros después de haber cenado y se nota que se enorgullece mucho de su cocina. Es un caballero absoluto y un genio en la cocina. También hacen un trato 2 - 4 - 1 durante toda la semana en pizzas, pastas y hamburguesas y nunca puedo creer lo barato que es cuando sale el recibo. Pagaría fácilmente 3 veces la cantidad que hago por la comida que consigo allí. Incluso hacen un menú especial siempre cambiante y sorprendente, así como diferentes días durante todo el mes dedicados a cocinas específicas. Podría seguir y seguir durante días sobre la comida de este lugar, pero solo adjuntaré algunas fotos que espero le hagan justicia. El pub en sí está a solo un tiro de piedra de Hampden Park, por lo que si la comida, las ofertas de mitad de semana y la bebida barata no era suficiente, ¡está en el lugar perfecto para eventos de Hampden!

Me topé con el Montford mientras estaba en la zona. Mis primeras impresiones fueron fantásticas y me llevó a regresar muchas veces. La comida es absolutamente de primera categoría y el chef claramente tiene algo de imaginación. Sus especiales son siempre absolutamente fantásticos y parecen cambiar cada semana con diferentes ofertas. Cada uno mejor que el anterior. La zona del bar es fantástica y el personal es genial para reírse. Gritar a Lorena, ella es la vida del lugar y único en su clase! Muy recomendable!

El mejor lugar en Glasgow para una buena comida a gran valor. El 2 - 4 - 1 entre lunes y jueves lo hace aún más dulce. La comida siempre es bang en y chef siempre parece clavarlo con el menú / especiales. Grita a Lorraine y su equipo. Servicio con una sonrisa. 10 / 10 volverá.

Paquete de la parte contratada para el traje de función. El gerente Scott fue muy servicial con la planificación y se mantuvo en contacto regular hasta el evento. Lugar de un gran tamaño para una fiesta y se veía muy bien con algunas decoraciones adicionales. Gracias a todo el personal en la noche.

Contratamos la función y lorrsine estaba lidiando con el incluso ella lo hizo muy libre de estrés y wS absolutamente increíble el paquete bien valió la pena y lorraine era increíble y muy servicial recomendaría altamente para eventos wS mis hijas baby shower y lo hicieron muy especial hollie y lorraine estaban detrás de la barra en el evento y eran amables y muy serviciales no puedo agradecerles lo suficiente hizo mi hija y sus parejas día y todos los invitados nos agradecen tanto chicos x x

Waited ages for the starter then 35minates from starter to mains.lost our appetites.couldn't finish mains had to keep ordering drinks for the kids.

Tried elsewhere but it was unexpectedly closed today 2nd December. Went in the door of our alternate choice of venue and a lady behind the bar pointed us in the direction of the tables in an area called The Kitchen for a meal. Nice lady gave us menu's and a young lady took our drinks order while we decided on what to eat. We all had a diet coke followed by chicken and rice soup which my friend loved, nachos with salsa, jalapeños and sour cream which was burnt at the edges and the salsa didn't seem homemade and on the whole was quite dry. The prawn tempura on toast also looked dry and the toast was also burnt, my male friend said it was OK. The mains of 1x chicken fajitas was nicely presented but there wasn't much chicken and there was a lot of onion/sweet pepper sauce but the x4 mini wraps with accompanying cheese, salsa, sour cream and jalapeños made it seem a lot. The Hunter chicken burger was again burnt at the edges but saved by the bacon/cheese, fries and Asian slaw which Ray said was just fine. I had the bbq beef Brisket burger which I hadn't realised was a double patty burger with a little bbq shredded Brisket on top, once again the edges of the burgers were dry and burnt and the centre was still slightly pink. The Brisket was dry despite the bbq sauce (bottled, I suspect). The Asian slaw didn't taste right, a bit vinegary and not unlike ordinary cheap coleslaw. The seasoned chips were fine as were the 2 onion rings but I honestly couldn't finish any of the items. The service was good and friendly but the place was cold (?heating on). The burgers were one a buy one get one free deal as it is on Mon-Thurs but everything came to over £47 which is fair. Haven't visited for years and liked the different decor but a little tired in places and was cold inside. Was starting to get a bit busier as we were leaving but the food was only average so won't be eating here again.

1st visit despite staying within a mile. Entered the Bar on a quiet Sunday and very impressed with the interior. Staff were on the ball and very friendly, I will return...NB Guinness was one of the best in my opinion.

Charged £28.90 tonight for 2 pints and a glass of white wine seems slightly excessive (if not some barman theft from the chubby guy in the baige top with brown hair) I’d keep an eye out if I was management! Ripping off customers will only end in tears.

Nice place to come for a decent, reasonably priced lunch. The staff are very friendly and down to earth, the food is tasty and the quality is more than acceptable for the price.

Popped in for bite to eat with the other half. Burger was very tasty and even better 2 for 1 offer. Service by Shirley very efficient and friendly. Woukd definitely recommend you give it a try.

Alway made to feel welcome and the buffet that they do upstairs is amazing especially chilli chips and homemade sausage rolls

I haven't been here in a long time, but popped by as it is under new management. Had a lovely roast dinner and drinks, the food was delicious & the service great with nice friendly staff. It is definitely worth a visit, I would book a table though as it can be busy.

Handy bar for Hampden Park. No real ale but ok for all that.

Food not available on menu at 4pm? No reason given, service was half hearted and having kids with us became an issue, without previous mention. An okay day was spoilt by managers attitude.

Great pub with very friendly staff. Well organised on match day, football scores on the TVs and loads of servers so even when busy service was quick. Only a short walk from the stadium.

Very handy for us as we are a 10 minute walk from the montford, nice atmosphere, food really good, staff are friendly, decent pint, only downside is when there is an event on at Hampden the price of a pint of lager goes up £2 from normal price.

Mi hermano, sobrino y yo fuimos a tomar algo antes de un partido de fútbol en Hampden. Los precios de una bebida son normalmente £ 3 : 95 sin embargo nos cobraron £ 6 por cada una de nuestras bebidas de hoy. Le preguntamos al personal del bar por qué y es porque el fútbol estaba encendido. Esto es codicia flagrante y no debe permitirse.

Pakora was very dry and garlic bread had no garlic.

Couldn't cut the chicken and it was burnt, the girl took it back and the cook just turned the chicken over and put more sauce on it. I've been in there many of times and had a lovely meal. Not be back did here that someone else has taken it over. And I was not the only one at the table that was not happy with the meal

La comida no es buena. El pastel de carne no era comestible. 2 de nuestra fiesta terminó muy mal con malestar estomacal. Personal bastante inútil. Nunca vuelvas ni recomiendes

Estuve en Montford muchas veces para almorzar y siempre fue encantador. Hoy no fue nada agradable, me dieron pollo de pimienta en grano el pollo estaba toboso y quemado. La chica lo devolvió pero todo lo que hicieron fue darle la vuelta al pollo y ponerle un poco más de salsa y me lo devolvieron. No volveré a hacer aquí que es gente nueva que lo tiene ahora no sé. He trabajado en cocinas conozco los trucos y no fui el único en mi mesa que no estaba contento con su comida

Recently in the pub prior to a concert and charged £16.00 for 2 vodkas with SODA and a blackcurrant dash, absolute robbery! The toilets were totally disgusting and had clearly not been checked by staff

I asked for a table and was met with an abrupt “Did you book?” response. No customer service skills. Walked to a nearby place and was treated so much nicer

Staff incredibly rude. As we walked through the door, we were met with "have you booked we're full", no sorry, the place was empty. Even tables outside were empty!

Bar closed at 2240 with no call for last orders. Pathetic laziness.

First visit today and had 2 Curries for £17, my Wife got the Katsu curry she said it was Sublime, I had the South Indian couldn't fault it, will be back

Unbelievably fantastic. Couldn't believe in this day & age there is a lovely pub & restaurant with kindness, exquisite food and professional prompt service. Loved it and we will be back. Pity I live 30 miles away

Great service! Friendly staff. You can bring your dog into the bar area (not restaurant side). Front tables outside and back beer garden. Well decorated. Large selection of food. Everything we tried was great!!

Service was slow but this was during celtics semi final match vs Rangers, staff was excellent considering how bust it was. Atmosphere was brilliant, great vibes before heading to the match

Unbelievably bad, had a lunch booked for 3 people for before a Scotland home game at Hampden which we had done previously and when we got to the door they said you are not getting in as you can’t book a table for lunch on match days and that the kitchen wasn’t even open! No apology and still didn’t let us in for a drink even when the proof of a lunch booking was shown. Discgraceful. Avoid on match days.

50 pounds per person 18 people at our table. Nice day 4 the till This was xmas family getting together .... food very poor all frozen pre heated food. Book in 230 all there in time 330 just got soups 5 b4 got frozen roast potatoes sprouts cold all in from stat till finish absolutely terrible never again...

Funeral tea for 30 was excellent. Toni and Shirley were professional and friendly. Highly recommended

Brilliant pub. Right next to Hampden Park. There are a couple of takeaways round the corner. Spent three hours there before seeing Coldplay.

Wonderful home made food and the pub is spotlessly clean. Hard working and friendly staff. Kids eat for £1 Monday -Thursday with any adult meal.

Had a drinks here before edd Sheeran gig Got a seat even though most were reserved Not much of a back beer garden and no drinks were allowed out the front which Did not make sense 😐 People were sitting on wall pavement side drinking with alcohol they had with them

Happened to find out the lovely food we had is from brand new menu! Had soup (broth, outstanding didn't need to add a scrap of salt or pepper) and cheesiest tastiest macaroni cheese with banging big fat chippies.. mum had a chicken ceaser salad and she assures the sauce is tremendous, and although was breast texture was more like a roast falling off the bones. Definitely be back to try more tasty goodness :D
