Food is great , desserts are delicious, great atmosphere, friendly staff , good music , Celebrating a special occasion and so happy we came here

Food not available on menu at 4pm? No reason given, service was half hearted and having kids with us became an issue, without previous mention. An okay day was spoilt by managers attitude.

Great pub with very friendly staff. Well organised on match day, football scores on the TVs and loads of servers so even when busy service was quick. Only a short walk from the stadium.

Good spot for a pre match pint. Really close to the stadium.

Had too wait an hour for starters,no check backs,drunks in the bar,but overall,fair.

Stopped for a few quiet pints before Hampden. Friendly staff and comfortable seating.

Very handy for us as we are a 10 minute walk from the montford, nice atmosphere, food really good, staff are friendly, decent pint, only downside is when there is an event on at Hampden the price of a pint of lager goes up £2 from normal price.

Montford house....an ideal location for a pint before the football? Nahhhh that's too good to be true Usually 3.50 a pint in a glass and a decent surrounding Rangers are at hampden and it's £7 a pint in a plastic cup. You have just lost a customer and probably loads more when you are added to the RSC boycott list. Surely you sell loads of pints at 3.50 and make money rather than lose customers at £7 Hang your heads in shame

Pakora was very dry and garlic bread had no garlic.

My brother, nephew and myself went in for a quick drink before a football match at Hampden. The prices for a drink are normally £3:95 however we were charged £6 for each of our drinks today. We asked the bar staff why and it is because the football was on. This is blatant greed and should not be allowed.

Couldn't cut the chicken and it was burnt, the girl took it back and the cook just turned the chicken over and put more sauce on it. I've been in there many of times and had a lovely meal. Not be back did here that someone else has taken it over. And I was not the only one at the table that was not happy with the meal

Food is not good. The steak pie was inedible. 2 of our party ended up really unwell with upset stomach. Staff quite unhelpful. Never return or recommend

Been at the montford many times for lunch and it always lovely. Today it was not nice at all, I got peppercorn chicken the chicken was tuff and burnt. The girl took it back but all they done was turned the chicken over and put some more sauce on it and gave it back to me. Will not be back did here that it's new people that have it now I don't know. I have worked in kitchens I know the tricks and I was not the only one at my table that was not happy with their meal

Prices kept increasing, took forever to be served.

Recently in the pub prior to a concert and charged £16.00 for 2 vodkas with SODA and a blackcurrant dash, absolute robbery! The toilets were totally disgusting and had clearly not been checked by staff

Staff incredibly rude. As we walked through the door, we were met with "have you booked we're full", no sorry, the place was empty. Even tables outside were empty!

I asked for a table and was met with an abrupt “Did you book?” response. No customer service skills. Walked to a nearby place and was treated so much nicer

Bar closed at 2240 with no call for last orders. Pathetic laziness.

The bar staff are very good especially cara hept us with a great choice or food and drink

Only called in for a quick pint before the football 🍀 and the meet relatives from Canafa with their tickets for the game but brilliant atmosphere and well organised staff 👌.

First visit today and had 2 Curries for £17, my Wife got the Katsu curry she said it was Sublime, I had the South Indian couldn't fault it, will be back

I was in the pub before the Hibs v Aberdeen semi final and I enjoyed being in the Montford more than being at the game 😂 good pub and good for proximity to Hampden 👍

Unbelievably fantastic. Couldn't believe in this day & age there is a lovely pub & restaurant with kindness, exquisite food and professional prompt service. Loved it and we will be back. Pity I live 30 miles away

Great service! Friendly staff. You can bring your dog into the bar area (not restaurant side). Front tables outside and back beer garden. Well decorated. Large selection of food. Everything we tried was great!!

Service was slow but this was during celtics semi final match vs Rangers, staff was excellent considering how bust it was. Atmosphere was brilliant, great vibes before heading to the match

Not bad place But please make sure there's no events on at Hampden If you want to book a lunch Kitchen is closed and if it was,not you will not enjoy your lunch as very busy

Local pub with free pool table decent pint.

Unbelievably bad, had a lunch booked for 3 people for before a Scotland home game at Hampden which we had done previously and when we got to the door they said you are not getting in as you can’t book a table for lunch on match days and that the kitchen wasn’t even open! No apology and still didn’t let us in for a drink even when the proof of a lunch booking was shown. Discgraceful. Avoid on match days.

Stealing money from employees?? Naa this place is disgusting. If they openly steal from their workers then just imagine what corners they cut with food and hygiene. No thank you

Food was ok would have preferred the fries to the chunky chips and the fish was lovely although the batter was soggy so I left it and ate the fish inside the chocolate fudge cake was amazing great day thanks

Popped in for a quiet coffee. Would have been better if a crowd of women had kept the noise down. Not what you expect at 3pm.

Can look a little shifty and plain from the outside, but really welcoming and friendly with a brilliant look and feel inside. Lovely food and surprisingly very pleasing cocktails (or so the wife told me)

50 pounds per person 18 people at our table. Nice day 4 the till This was xmas family getting together .... food very poor all frozen pre heated food. Book in 230 all there in time 330 just got soups 5 b4 got frozen roast potatoes sprouts cold all in from stat till finish absolutely terrible never again...

Funeral tea for 30 was excellent. Toni and Shirley were professional and friendly. Highly recommended

This business offer DJ Saturdays from 8 pm, but it doesn't exit. Poor atmosphere. Good decoration. Employees don't understand no british speakers properly

Brilliant pub. Right next to Hampden Park. There are a couple of takeaways round the corner. Spent three hours there before seeing Coldplay.

Wonderful home made food and the pub is spotlessly clean. Hard working and friendly staff. Kids eat for £1 Monday -Thursday with any adult meal.

Lately has went from family atmosphere pub with great menu reasonable prices to a pretentious up market over priced food /drink pub. Longing for family /community pub back.

Had a drinks here before edd Sheeran gig Got a seat even though most were reserved Not much of a back beer garden and no drinks were allowed out the front which Did not make sense 😐 People were sitting on wall pavement side drinking with alcohol they had with them

Cup final day place was very busy 12 bar staff on before and after game decent prices although overcharged once(maybe a mistake) great company if you heading to hampden very close to ground but be early

Happened to find out the lovely food we had is from brand new menu! Had soup (broth, outstanding didn't need to add a scrap of salt or pepper) and cheesiest tastiest macaroni cheese with banging big fat chippies.. mum had a chicken ceaser salad and she assures the sauce is tremendous, and although was breast texture was more like a roast falling off the bones. Definitely be back to try more tasty goodness :D

Massive price hype when football events ar on .£1:00 average increase on all drinks. Poor beer, poor service, driftwood pub lot better. Close by .so if you want to be mugged try montfords

Booked for my dads funeral. £340 pound for soup and sandwiches for 40 and cake and tea/coffee for 40. Turned up ( a bit early at 1.45pm) nothing ready, nothing out, one member of staff ( who was great btw, called in at last minute). At 2.45pm after our older guests had left because of cold and no refreshments we were treated to 1 SMALL tureen or veg soup and 2 small trays of sandwiches with NO vegetarian options and every sandwich with sliced white meat ? . That’s it. For £340 . Bloody disgraceful. Most sandwiches left as not very tasty , no bread rolls, no cakes, no tea or coffee offered. We spent over £300 in drinks at bar in 2 hours and offered £140 refund on food. Will be reporting to Pub Code Adjudicator and Trading Standards

The bar staff were friendly, however the wifi didn't stretch enough to be working upstairs and the DJ wasnt play the sort of music to get up and dance to even when the drinks were flowing 😃
