My partner and I came so we could have a last meal before it closed. We arrived at 12 because we reckoned it would be busy with it being the final day. We were told the kitchen didn't open until 12.30 so as we had found a seat, opted to have a drink. We ordered food at 12.30 (pie & chips and a burger) and over an hour later it eventually arrived. Also people that came in after us got served before us. No apologies for our long wait. It is maybe a good think that it has closed now.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice, quiet atmosphere, lovely piano music creating a nice ambiance. Ate here last night, the food was decent - I had the mussels to start which were lovely (but unfortunately the toast was burnt), and the steak for mains - chips were lovely and triple cooked! My husband had the haggis bites and the fish for mains. We shared a bottle of malbec which was delicious. This place is obviously in a state of growth, and we hope it continues to succeed because it will make a really great local staple.

Cracking little hotel to stay in for a golf break to gleneagles. Location brilliant. Food is also a major plus with a terrific ‘Bombay’ menu alongside the usual gastro pub type options. Have haggis for starter! Good selection of red and white wine, and the Guinness was excellent. Lovely staff 🙂
