Good place, but tables always messy. Even if tidyed up don't get wiped have to ask! Excuse is always short staffed. Food value for money, staff friendly on most part.

Fabulous location on the River Tay, this revamped old bank is a great building, well restored. The usual food and drinks were available. Had a few pints Saturday night and breakfast here Sunday morning! Loved it 👍

Was in on the 24th of February ( storm day) had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Chloe,a credit to your company, keep hold of her.

I had a pleasant experience at the Wetherspoon's pub; it was very clean and well-maintained. The food was, in fact, the best I've had at a Wetherspoon's. The service was inconsistent; some bar staff were friendly, while others appeared less enthusiastic.

We went there on several occasions during our stay in Perth. Former bank, great for a meal with a pub restaurant atmosphere.

Disgusting place got a burger and chips as did my friend we both can’t stop spewing avoid at all cost disgusting

This is the only place I know that can totally muck up a cheese and ham panini! Sticky Korean chicken, pfft nothing sticky about it, a bit of wilted whatever and 2 bits of sliced chilli and the ginger haired guy with the white shirt that served me at the bar has a major attitude problem and absolutely no customer service skills, def wont be returning

It's always chill in WS, and you know that it does what it says on the tin.

Just went to perth weatherspoons this evening. Waited total 1 hour 15 mins on 3 STARTERS. That's all we ordered. During waiting we asked when the food will be here twice to be told they forgot to check. Then management came over (matt) and said it seemingly went to the wrong table. He said he would make the food instead even though the kitchen is now closed after waiting for ages. We waited for that to be done while still buying drinks to then be served with a bad attitude, no discount on food as the manager said he had to make it fresh even though its their fault for sending it to the wrong table so we got no discount? . And little amount of food. Didn't bother eating and just asked for a refund. Poor customer service. Still waiting for refund to return.

Great location,friendly staff,enjoyed dinner and then breakfast next morning nice way to end our break.

Gourmet steak was very poor, lots of fat, always used wetherspoons for a quality meal when travelling but in Perth it was poor.

You wouldn't think you could go wrong with nachos, but they did. Fish was overcooked and more batter than fish. Had to clear a table before sitting down.

The service in this spoons is second to none. No other spoons in the UK will deliver your drinks faster than this. Fact.

Typical wetherspoons, good all round pub, cheap drinks, good food (the curry being better here than most local Indian Restaurants (I've worked in India so I know a good curry when I taste one)),so yes, recommended.

excellent service my friend has a food allergy to black pepper and when I spoke to Daisy she took it very seriously guided us through everything that was essential to know and doublechecked with the chefs. Lovely service

Pub with a huge selection of beer at top prices. With your meal you can choose a soft drink or an alcoholic drink for a small additional charge. We love the free-refill coffee/hot chocolate/tea for just 1.20 euros. Here you can eat and drink delicious food for little money.

Was charged 3times on my card for our meal after returning back to my table and asked to re present my card 5 times as transaction had not gone through! We were a table of 4 and when our food arrived I had ordered a PLAIN half roast chicken with chips and found that the chicken was infused with lemon and herbs and was curtly told that all the their chicken dishes were lemon infused. I am allergic and therefore couldn't eat it and was then told by the shift leader that I "couldn't read a menu properly" after more ranting from her I was eventually offered fish & chips which I accepted. Another at our table ordered a mixed grill which arrived with unidentifiable items on the plate. These items were so burnt and on complaining it was taken back to the kitchen and returned with 3 complimentary sausages on top and offer of a free cookie which was declined. On moving the sausages out of the way it was found that the rest of "the grill" had been even more incinerated and was now just carbon. We then asked a refund and did without this meal! The shift leader at this time was extremely rude and very condescending to me especially and I had to get up again to get the refund on to my card. By this time I had been up from our table 6 times and used 5 different card machines. In the past I have dined and had drinks there and had no problems and this review is highly edited but this visit was a nightmare!!!! I would tell everyone to run in opposite direction. The empty tables around us were by this time not bring cleared after 1hour and 30 mins. Disgraceful!!

Don't waste your time. Was charged 3 times for our meal and when it came, my partners meal had things missing and when they brought it back, it was so burnt he couldn't eat it. My mother in law didn't get what she asked for and when the shift leader came over she was so cheeky! "What do you expect me to do about it?" We expected her to make it right. Customer service was diabolical, especially for a supposed team leader! No other staff came anywhere near us to ask how the food was or to clear tge table. Definitely won't be stopping here again. Also the disabled toilet floor was swimming with water! A wet floor sign only means they know there is a problem!

Decent Wetherspoons. Food was good, service was quick and friendly. Just lots of tables that needed clearing.

Food was cheap and decent for the price, place looks tidy, drinks prices reasonable, staff were friendly and helpful, went on a Friday night and by 11:15pm it was surprisingly quiet, see picture, although this might have just been unusual. Coffee was ok, but factor in it was £1.04 (normal £1.56 i think) for bottomless self service it was a designated driver's dream.

The value for money is very good. We have been there several times, for breakfast, aperitif and dinner. The freedom breakfast is notable for its abundance and quality, everything well cooked and of good quality. The beer selection is wide and the service is fast. Easy to find a seat because the place is very large.

Food good as always , no complaints there. Wasn’t spoken to very polite by a member of bar staff, felt like she was quite rude to be fair, my friend didn’t have her ID so she didn’t get served which was fine, it was the way it was said that was quite rude. Then another member of staff (team leader) approached us which there was no need for. Also kept getting stared at by the bar staff so felt too uncomfortable to continue eating our food.

How they can allow chips out in this condition is beyond me. I know the meals are not expensive but there is no excuse for serving crispy burnt ends. Will never return.

Just as you'd expect from the Wetherspoon experience. Can get quite crowded, though, and the toilets are characteristically far from the restauraunt area. Other than that, perfect.

Perth came up trumps again with The Capital Asset. Staff friendly, food as usual consistent and good quality. Prices excellent. Loved the ladies toilet facilities a great internal renovation in a very old building. Within walking distance of city centre overlooking the River Tay. Well worth visiting.

Typical Wetherspoons pup. Service was good, food was hot and tasty. Lovely views outside windows as it is down by the river in Perth. Not the nicest but certainly not the worst Wetherspoons I have been in.

This is one of our favorite places in Perth. Food is fantastic and inexpensive. Drinks are cold and delicious. Definitely stop in to enjoy some wings or the fiesta breakfast!

Interesting building, nice staff & good food

Attention only to service. The table was only cleaned when our order came. After asking for clean spoons for dessert (they were dirty), the waitress brought a clean then threw them on the table.

Wetherspoon is a stable value and comes to rescue at breakfast time...not a day without Spoons morning...

Fairly typical JD branch in pleasant surroundings by the river. Food, beer, service etc., all well up to expectations. Although generally quite busy, seating is usually available due to its considerable size.

How lucky are Scotland, fish and chips were amazing, cooked perfectly and service was so friendly, anyone complaining about here need to visit our local Richard oastler, food is awful

Staying in Perth on business. Came across Weatherspoons, found that it was busy, around 6pm Thursday, was curry night. Found a quiet booth to sit in, the vegetarian curry, served with a large naan bread and poppodams was delicious! Hot, spicy served in authentic style Indian dishes. Also stocked quality wines eg Villa Maria NZ and at such a low price! Would come again for sure!!

The staff was very good. We had their all day brunch. It was a lovely sunny day so we ate outside. and there was a good atmosphere around us. Downside tables were very tight together. To get to the toilets

Only 1 barman and place was really busy so had to wait quite a bit to get served

The food was great when we finally got seated , no parking and the place was really loud .

Dined here with family. Ordered from the app, drinks and food brought straight to the table by attentive staff. Clean and tidy restaurant. Toilets (32 steps up) were also clean and very roomy. Food well cooked and tasty. Not much parking about. Outside only had parking for 1 hour then no return within a certain time. We parked in the parking area on Canal Street about 5 minutes walk.

Great location overlooking the river Tay, nice looking building from the outside and once inside it's a bog standard wetherspoons. My Scottish breakfast was nice washed down with tea which you can refill at no extra charge. Good to see some local Scottish real ale on cask alongside the tasteless Doom Bar which I see being sold everywhere. The toilets are a bit of a trek up stairs but there's always a disabled toilet in wetherspoons pubs on the ground floor. Free wi-fi which is standard and the place is warm and clean as are most of the pubs in this franchise.

AMAZING as per. Always come here to catch up with friends. Great for any occasion! Drinks? Lunch? Pub crawl? You know what you’re getting and it hits every time. Cannot complain, the waitress and the chef were both lovely today too. Five stars.

Food was good, just a shame there were very loud people swearing at the top of their voices behind us.

Ate twice for Dinner and the food was amazing for the price... Good location and great atmosphere for the weekend :)
