The hotel is oka-ish to stay in

We spent 3 nights in the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. It was a misery, my husband and I hated having to stay there. We asked for a change, but we're told they were full. This was in the cottages behind the hotel. I wrote to our tour operator and suggested they never book those rooms again. The rest of the property was very nice and the location was fantastic.Service & food were good. Inverness, Scotland

The least said the better & especially about its safety,fire security procedures during the night.

booked this hotel for special occasions when doing booking to hotel personally mentioned special event and would like to book a table and have a bottle of prosecco that's not a problem he was told booked for 3 days arrived there. No restaurant no bar available went to my room it was a tip not cleaned from previous people was put into another room dark and from 60s paper hanging from ceiling room had two heaters bathroom was dirty in such a small shower cubicle carpets worn if you look at website the rooms are not NOT THE SAME HOTEL ROOMS . the corridors and stairs very unclean unkept unclean I wouldn't call it a hotel atall did not stay unbooked and went else where never again

I gave it 2 for the staff was the best thing about this hotel, the rooms were very old and out dated our room was 315 and the plumbing not the best waste water coming from the bath plug hole when upstairs was washing or if you used the sink. This hotel is well over due a complete overhaul felt sorry for the staff how work there could not believe it is a best western hotel will not book again sadly

La comida era buena comida de pub, lo habitual, bistec, pescado y patatas fritas, etc. Muy bien de precio y sabroso por el dinero. Las bebidas tenían un buen precio. El servicio fue de primera clase.

Attended a business meeting. Excellent bacon rolls provided. Stayed in for a light lunch. Chicken Caesar Salad sandwich. Very tasty, nicely presented and with very good service. Will be happy to visit again

1st night a quiz?not a good idea, singer on newyear sang her own stuff, audiance in there 60s to 80s, not 1 scottish song nor a slow ballad, big review required on entertainment for future years,{ need someone who knows the older genarations} get it right and the place will be full for years

Decided to stay in this hotel again. Upgraded to a king size room . When we arrived we were extremely cold( another review about why) so we hoped the room would be warm. It wasn't but we turned up the heating and all was well. I also found the shower to be difficult to use and was almost scalded . However I still think that it was a nice room in a lovely town which central for lots of other places. We had a drink in the bar and although there was a boxing match on the bar wasn't that busy. I had a great nights sleep and look forward to coming back. I also wanted to say the staff are lovely and very helpful.

Enjoyed dinner here with plenty selection on menu in a comfortable restaurant and a good selection of wines. Breakfast was great too

Had an evening meal and breakfast whilst staying at the hotel - both meals were excellent would definitely eat here again

Rooms are clean and tidy,a little bit dated but it is an old hotel.located right next to Perth train station. The food was very nice and available till 9.30pm which is a plus. The staff are very polite and helpful.

The food at Scott's is average at best, as is the service...average. We were seated and our drink orders were taken. The waitress sort of disappeared so I took the opportunity to sneak in behind the wait station and turn down the girl band music which was playing far too loudly. So many choices out there that this is off of our return visit list.

I eat here 3 nights while on business. The menu had enough variety, the price was ok but the dishes were a little bland. The restaurant part of the hotel is very impersonal and lacks any atmosphere. The bar as well lacks any atmosphere. The staff were efficient but could not be termed friendly.

We were greeted in the cosy foyer by helpful and friendly staff. This set the tone for the whole meal. The menu choices - although not large - had something for everyone whether (meat, fish and vegetarian) and all were well presented on lovely hot plates. Nothing worse than a nice meal spoilt by being served on a cold plate. We went to the Queens for Christmas Lunch last year and we were not disappointed this year. The tables were spaced fairly far apart, which meant you felt like you were just with your own family and not overhearing the conversation of others. The staff were lovely - I am sure they would rather have all been with their own families - so I would like to say thank you to the kitchen, front of house, waiting staff and management for a lovely experience.

Have stopped several times on business over the years, ideally located for short walk into town, and on the doorstep of bus/train station if required?... Breakfast and evening meals are a good standard, always had an evening meal at least once in my 3/4 night stays, but with many restaurants nearby we always have a short stroll out to experience. Leisure facilities available on site that I've never had chance to use, but look adequate... The only one downside of the hotel overall is that the decor and rooms are looking dated and ready for 'freshen up', doesn't put me off staying for business trips, but if I was bringing my wife up for a weekend getaway I'd probably look at other hotels nearby, but that said on the several stays I've had over the years the hotel has been totally adequate for my needs.

Arriving at hotel we went into the bar and had lunch Although it was very busy the service was very good . A nice selection of sandwiches and hot meals.

Was advised that I would need to book a table as restaurant was full. Peered in and it was empty. Like they didn't want the business. Very basic menu, burgers and chips average price £10.

The reception desk was very efficient and polite. The room was old and creaky and the view very poor overlooking a flat roof. Breakfast staff again were very good and the food choice and taste was as you would expect. I didn't eat in the restaurant at night time as I did not think the menu choice was very good and each time I went near the restaurant I felt I was being watch by the cook or someone, which was a little disconcerting. Overall an average stay.

Food was good although the portions were small. The prices are to high for the portion we got. The service was good. Friendly staff. I do not recommend.

Buena elección en el menú. Personal excelente, especialmente Kira, Sean y Ela, son muy atentos. Tuve que esperar una semana, mientras que para nuestro flan highlander pero valió la pena la espera. No puedo esperar a volver en junio.

This was a lunch for a conference being held in the hotel, but demonstrated the quality of food on offer as well as the professionalism and friendliness of the staff in general. The food was freshly prepared, with plenty of options available and served in the hotel's Scott Room

One night stay on business, friendly enough check in and free parking.Room was really small, old in decor and freezing cold! No one had turned the heating to warm what felt like an unaired room.I usually sleep with a window open, here I had the heating on full blast, had a bath to try and warm up and even considered turning the Corby Trouser press to heat up the room.TV got no signal and weak shower didn't help make my stay.No one on the reception at breakfast so I'd eaten my cereal before I was even acknowledged.Breakfast was ok, but no butter on my scrambled egg on toast and bland eggs.Just expect more these days for the money!

Lovely homely hotel but room could have been bigger. Staff were excellent. Food was great. Would stay here again. Not sure if premier rooms are bigger.

Comfortable and warm. Our room was very small for the price but all facilities present. The pool and spa looked lovely. Breakfast was adequate and staff were friendly. Free parking across the street is a great bonus in Perth,

There was plenty of choice for breakfast and service was very good. I opted for the smoked haddock and poached egg and was delicious. The 3 course evening meals were freshly cooked and plentiful and had 3 options

Accommodation and breakfast very good. Staff very courteous and helpful. Centrally located near to all transport hubs

My brother stayed here with his family and invited us over to have a swim and drink in the bar. The man in charge of the pool wouldn't allow guests of paying guests in and was very curt.We opted to go back to our house rental and not drink or eat at the restaurant because of their attitude.

Not Great Value. we should have tried the restaurant. We had breakfast in the dinning room and that was fine.
