We’ve just spent bank holiday weekend camping at Maustin park, we booked Sunday dinner at the stables bar and restaurant. And so glad we did! We were a group of 5 with 3 dogs. We were made to feel so welcome as soon as we walked in. All the team were so friendly, knowledgeable with what drinks they had on offer when asked and the drinks arrived promptly. The food was presented perfectly and tasted even better than it looked. There was 4 sharing bowls of veg brought out and we all had our own jug of extra gravy. We all said it’s the best Sunday roast we’ve had in a very long time. If not ever. Beating all of our local faves at home. and they even brought a bowl of meat for the dogs and gave them a fuss which we’ve never had before anywhere we’ve been, such a lovely thing to do. Also as great touch was the complementary women’s products in the bathroom show they care for their customers. Will recommend to anyone we know is coming here and we will definitely be returning when we’re back in the area.

5 stars are not enough for this restaurant . The food is amazing , tasty, plentiful, served with a smile, and has a dog friendly area too !. We tried the Pizza, red thai curry , steak night deal ,(rump) all perfectly cooked and the Sunday roast.. oh my... also amazing.. The staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. Just to say that as well as Sunday lunches and excellent value Thursday steak night, the Stables also have a Wednesday deal which is fish and chips or pizzas, 2 for £20 to takeaway. A family meet up meant that 12 of us took advantage of this deal and it was really good. The new chef is Italian and his pizzas were generously topped, large and delicious. Calzones on offer too topped with a lovely tomato sauce so no dryness. The fish and chips are always good here and were again. Highly recommend this Wednesday deal.

Decided to try out this restaurant as we had a one night Touring stay at Maustin Park. What a find! Lovely and friendly service from Linda who found us a table with our dog. Food was excellent, happened to be Steak Night with a good deal including a bottle of house wine. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Sunday Roast. OMG! Such good value. We chose to have the two meat option which was excellent value for money! The portions were very generous and the food tasted lovely! Was gearing up for dessert (so much choice) but just didn’t have enough room! Would recommend without hesitation. A true gem in such a beautiful setting where you’re guaranteed great food, service and a warm welcome! Thank you ❤️

We had read so many good reviews about the stables but had never been, and we only live down the road! Four of us went for Sunday lunch on fathers Day. What a gem, what a find. We were given a warm welcome by Linda and were soon seated with drinks. Both men had pints of the guest beer and me and my friend and I chose a glass of rose and a glass of red wine. The menu is not extensive, but that makes it so much easier when choosing. We all had different starters, and each one was well presented and delicious. We love Sunday lunch, and all our meals were spot on. I chose beef and pork. The beef was cooked medium rare, the pork was tender, crackling was crisp stuffing very tasty, and a large Yorkshire pudding with extra gravy on the side. It came with mashed and roast potatoes and vegetables served separately were green beans, carrots, and braised red cabbage. All plates were cleared, and the portions were generous. Seemed silly not to have a pudding, so we all opted for the Rhubarb and ginger cheesecake scrumptious. We really enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. It is a very friendly restaurant and we chatted to other diners who were regulars. Our bill for the 2 of us was less than £70.00 my husband didn't have a pudding, but even so, we thought that this was really good value for money. We will be going again, we will go for the steak night and for lunch during the week.

Just home from a week away with our caravan, had a Sunday Lunch at the Stables Bar at Maustin Park. Food excellent but pricy. Restaurant owner seemingly has found a novel but cheeky way of coining in more money on a traditional Sunday Roast, £17 but if you want a choice of meats it's an extra £2. Unlike most carvery deals at other locations and far cheaper where you can have any choice of meat without extra cost. Cheeky people, returning mid summer but won't be eating there again. Watch out they'll be wanting a service charge next!

Another fabulous Sunday lunch for 10 of us. So friendly to big table not a problem and the food was superb. Large portions of meat and vegetables -cooked perfectly. Not rushed and extra gravy etc offered. Desserts also a great size and delicious. Thankyou Linda and Nicola who served us and Andy who cooked!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5) food hygiene certificate ✔️ The Sunday Dinner was cooked to perfection , fresh veg , roast/mash , tender meat & Yorkshire , very tasty …but the stuffing was exceptional ( not tasted anything as nice , since my mother cooked it on Christmas dinner over 20 yrs ago ( deceased ) The Restaurant/Bar has just been refurbished & is tastefully furnished , comfortable with a nice friendly ambiance ! The staff attentive with a nothing too much trouble attitude … it was our first visit in this tranquil part of Yorkshire , but it will not be our last to this restaurant. Situated not too far from Wetherby, York or Leeds & yet benefits in the rural tranquility of where it is positioned & you could be forgiven for thinking you are in The Yorkshire Dales ! Thank you Stephen & Linda for an outstanding Dinner & your hospitality Next time we may even hire a pod on site , and attend one of your evening functions ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you want great service, friendly staff, a great atmosphere and fantastic food then I can highly recommend that you visit the Stables, trust me you will not be disappointed!! I don’t think I have ever been anywhere and been made to feel so welcome, Linda and Stephen are the perfect hosts and the locals are really friendly too. Even dogs are made to feel just as welcome as they have 3 or 4 doggy tables and they are made a fuss of and are well and truly spoilt…. so much so in fact that I can’t walk past the pub now as our two pull towards it to go in and see Linda! Oh and the pups can highly recommend their beef and chips!!

Having found this place on Google maps and checking the reviews on TripAdvisor it was on my list of places to visit. I knew it was on a holiday park so wasn't sure what to expect. I needn't have worried. The bar and restaurant were very well presented and spotlessly clean. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the service was prompt. The food was absolutely delicious. We both had the roast beef from the Sunday lunch menu. The yorkshire pudding was massive and the vegetables cooked to perfection. You even get extra gravy in a jug. We finished off with a piece of lime and ginger cheesecake. 😋 We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Well done, keep up the good work.

Came here last weekend with my partner and some friends. It was such a lovely vibe, all the staff were very friendly and full of laughter 💜 The food was absolutely amazing! I would recommend the halloumi fries to start (the best I’ve ever had). Me and my partner had the special main which was Cajun chicken pasta which was absolutely incredible. We were so full but could not resist dessert! Homemade ginger lime cheesecake and chocolate cake with ice cream 😋

What an amazing find that was! A little gem just a few minutes away from Wetherby town centre. For us, a must visit pub. The food was qmazing. Staff so friendly and helpful . Although we live like 45’ away, we will definitely visit again and again . We had the pie of the day, and Sunday dinner. Meet was delicious and melted in your mouth. The gravy tasty and thick enough and these Yorkshire puddings to die for. Desserts were amazing too. Go visit !!!

The Stables is simply the most perfect bar and restaurant. We have spent the weekend on site ( for the second time ) and have enjoyed the most amazing food , drinks and entertainment all weekend. Linda , Stephen and their staff are fabulous hosts nothing is too much trouble for them. They make everybody feel so welcome. Their Sunday lunch’s are to die for , you’ll not be disappointed !

Lovely little pub/restaurant. Had a nice Sunday lunch before heading onto the Emmerdale Tour. Thank you so much to the friendly staff/owners for feeding us so quickly and helping us navigate our way to Harewood due to the bridge closure. Would recommend this place and we enjoyed our meal.

What a gem this pub and restaurant is, we was greeted by Stephen and Linda who’s warm welcome was very inviting. We came for some evening food and wasn’t disappointed at all would highly recommend the chicken skewer. Service was great by the lovely Bobby and food was Devine. Sells proper beer and proper food at a fair price . Lived within 10 miles of it but had never been and finally made it and it was well worth it . You need your own transport but it really is a hidden gem.

Had one of the best afternoon teas today that I've ever had. Pub garden was empty...it's tucked away off the beaten track but you should hunt it down. You need to preorder it but £14.99 for two it's well worth it!!! Choice of sandwiches, small pastries, brownies and of course scones, jam and cream. Linda and Stephen happy to help with top ups of your tea, lovely rural beer garden, what more could you want.

My wife and I went to the stables yesterday for Sunday lunch which was excellent. On top of the superb lunch Linda and the team have created a safe and well arranged environment in line with all recommended precautions for Corvid . My sister has a caravan on the park here and we came up for a weekend break she recommended we visit tje stables bar and restaurant so we had a table booked for sunday lunch yesterday 30th August and could not fault it. can't wait to come up again in 3 weeks time where we qill be staying for a week so we can have plenty of time to have a few beers and sample some more fine food.Great atmosphere here and the hospitality is spot on. 100% recommend.Everyone is so friendly and chatty and it has a warm casual feeling where you can just sit back and chill out. I also like the fact that they are pet friendly. The outside area is lovely with seating and plenty of space. Couldn't fault it one bit.

Visited last night 19th August for a family meal. The lamb and mint pie was delicious, plenty of tender meat. Steak well cooked and of a good size. Fish and chips were the same as ever, smashing. Good beer, good atmosphere, good company. As usual Linda made everyone welcome.

Have eaten twice this week at The Stables. Really lovely setting with lovely hosts Linda and Steve serving the most incredible Sunday Roast. The Beef was incredible and my husbands Lamb wonderful. Highly highly recommend but as we found out yesterday word has got out so book early or you will not get a table. We took along two teenagers and a Labrador and we all came away very very happy (thanks Kinda for the Doggie Feast).

Popped in after visiting netherby deep, wasnt planning on eating but got tempted by the menu, we were not disappointed! Everyone enjoyed their food, huge portions so took the leftovers home in boxes. Staff very friendly and funny

We had a fantastic weekend at the Stables bar and restaurant on the beautiful Maustin Park. What a great welcome from Linda &Stephen who were the perfect hosts, we ate once at the restaurant and the fish and chips were amazing we can highly recommend. The first night we won the football competition and the second night our Brother and Sister in law won the Mr & Mrs competition !!!!!! this caused no end of jovial banter as we were told never to return !!!!!! Ha ha so we are coming back in October !!!!!!!! Be prepared lol.On a serious note we could not fault this marvellous little place and it made a year long catch up with our relatives very special. Staying at Maustin Park touring site we popped in for a couple of pints with the kids and our dog. We where made really welcome from the start and was invited to a night out a "Mr and Mrs" night. On our return we decided to book a table, we sat inside again with the kids and dog and ate from their varied menu. They have a great range of beers and a multitude of Gins to choose from. We decided to take part in the "Mr and Mrs" night in which we came runners up, doing so we where gifted a bottle of fizz! Linda, Stephen and their staff cannot do enough for you and are great hosts.

Great local pub on the edge of Maustin Park. A warm welcome to every member of the family, even those with four legs. Delicious food served with a friendly smile from Stephen and Linda. Extensive range of beers and gins to try out. Despite Covid 19 the hosts have put in numerous safety measures to keep everyone safe the venue has still managed to keep that pub feel. Thank you for a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back.

So good is the food that we ate here twice in 24 hours! The Stables is located on Maustin Park and is open to all. We enjoyed a few drinks (fabulous gin choice) and a bite to eat on the Saturday and then returned for the amazing Sunday Roast! The food is excellent...the creme brulee with the shortbread, well wow! You won't be disappointed if you ordered it. Portiln sizes are perfect and food tasted just lovely. Linda and Steve gave us a really warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Covid-19 safe, there was plenty of antibac and social distancing guidelines that worked perfectly. We felt very safe to eat out and have a drink here. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

El bar y restaurante Stables está ahora bajo una nueva administración, Steve y Linda Disney. Aunque en la actualidad es un menú limitado, vale la pena probar la comida. Tuvimos un almuerzo de domingo el domingo de Pascua y luego fuimos a la noche de bistec y ambas comidas eran buenas. El ambiente es agradable y cálido (calefacción central instalada). Steve ha introducido cerveza real en las bombas y ofrece una buena selección de bebidas para la venta. El bar tiene dos cervecerías al aire libre que le dan suficiente espacio para sentarse y disfrutar del clima. Estamos ansiosos por la introducción del menú completo. Could not fault anything about the place, the reataurant/bar was spotlessly clean.We ordered drinks at the bar and then took went to sat at our table. We were given the right amount of time to browse the menu before a waitress came over to take our order. Food came out quickly and was presented beautifully. The roast turkey and seasonal vegetables were piping warm.Because the main meals were that good we decided to have dessert and let me just say the coconut and lemon tart was to die for!!!!!!!!!Will definatly return again very soon.

Great atmosphere, friendly host, a fantastic menu of plenty of choice and the food was absolutely lovely. Friendly staff and good service. A great value for money and in a lovely location. Lovely presentation of the food. A real hidden gem with a lovely atmosphere and really great food for both families, couples, and children.

We visited the stables as we were camping hear! Food was extremely disappointing we were expecting good things after reading the reviews. I think it recently changed hands so the food wasn’t as expected! Chips were thick dry and cheap! There was no menus just a small selection on a black board! Salad was limp and old! Kids meals were the same price as the adult meals but less than half the size! I feel that is a reflection on the fact children are tolerated but not welcome! The girl who served us was pleasant but the other lady had a face like thunder! Said there are only two of us she will take your order when she is ready! Wish we would have gone somewhere els! You live and learn! Also I think they charged us 50p for tarter sauce and salad cream! It was just a big disappointment!

Stayed with friends at the caravan park. Went here for breakfast. Well presented and fresh. Good quality produce. Very nice.

we called for lunch after seeing an advert in a local magazine.hidden in the middle of a very nice caravan park is a small restaurant with very friendly staff.there is a good selection on the lunch menu the ploughmans platter and all day breakfast are well worth a try and the 2 for £12 was very tempting.all the deserts are homemade with the lemon cheesecake and warm cherries and kirsh crepes highly recommended.
