It's your average Spoons. Less cask than others but a pretty decent pint of Guinness which is currently only £2.49 on Monday. Sadly the last place you can drink in the centre of the village

Decidió visitar Cucharas en Acocks Green con nuestro anciano padre. Encontré una mesa bastante fácil a las 5. 30 pm un sábado. Bebidas pedidas en el bar con una jovencita. Ella era un poco inexperta, pero llegamos allí y me dio las gracias por enseñarle un par de cosas. Una bienvenida muy cálida y sincera. Pedimos comidas de Navidad en la aplicación y (a pesar de las comidas pobres en mis cucharas locales en Burnham - on - Sea) el expatriado Acocks Green era excelente. Todo el 3 platos y las bebidas eran fantásticos y el personal era TODO extremadamente educado y amable. Gracias al equipo de Acocks Green el sábado 21 de diciembre calle 6 pm - 9 pm

Had a lovely meal tasty filling

Somewhat dark in light, the cards need to be changed and renewed, they are very dirty and sticky. The bathrooms are not well attended, they did not have paper.

Great place the food well worth the money and the hot chocolate is really nice added bonus it's refill to . Enjoy

Service is good. Thr staff are friendly and attentive. Food and drink are of correct temperature. rooms to improve : 1. is it possible to wipe the sticky menu when the staff cleans the tables please? they are very sticky and oily ( every time I visit ) it won't take 5 mins to do so ^_____^ 2. when the staff cleans the tables, is it possible to pick up the food debris, fork and knife under the table.....^____< thank you.

Can't knock the atmosphere, BUT, for the food the cook has no idea of what a scrambled egg is compared to a chopped up fried egg, what bring out a plate that looks awful and then offer to change the bacon, needless to say I got a refund, 😡 very disappointed.

Not a posh pub by any stretch of the imagination but friendly enough with good staff.Update, great Halloween spectacle in this pub lots of spooky images and the staff full into the swing of things. Great atmosphere generated.Sadly, this is one of the few pubs in Acocks Green. At one time there were at least 8 now its down to 3. You can now park behind the spread for 2 hours but you must enter your details on a keypad and confirm your stay.

Si quieres reírte con tu familia y haces un poco más de ruido que la mesa de al lado... no visites este pub en ningún caso. El gerente de turno es extremadamente grosero y necesita entrenamiento en servicio al cliente.

We were having fun as a family for a Birthday and the old blonde dragon came over and told us to be quiet in a very rude way . I felt this was very rude behaviour from her and I would not waste my money at this place again.

Like the all you can drink coffee so go after bowling, have eaten there nothing to shout about never had anything bad but it is what it is

I went to The Spread Eagle with family for Saturday lunch. They were pretty busy, but we were still served fairly quickly. The food was hot and tasty, and the portion sizes were spot on. Happy Days.

A nice place to chil spoke to the manager made me feel so welcome will definitely pop in again when im in the area

Mi hija y yo hemos usado el águila extendida durante unos meses la comida está bien. He notado que el lugar está siendo invadido por ladrones de tiendas que venden ropa, artículos de tocador y carne y si hablas con la persona adecuada puedes obtener un Sky Fire Stick ilegal. Hay ciertas personas que se sientan en el medio de la habitación que creen que lo saben todo, pero solo chatean basura. Los jóvenes evitan este lugar porque se les juzga por su apariencia o apariencia o si usan una gorra o se han hecho tatuajes, todos están tarados con el mismo pincel. TIM. Los jóvenes son tu futuro, gastarán dinero no sentados allí todo el día con un par de pintas que duran 4 horas y aprovecharán las recargas gratis de café. Busy from 9am, good food and great service for a which bets the big coffee shops ,wetherspoons has stolen the 8.30am slot for coffee and bacon butty from Greg's for value and taste if eating in house.

This was a superb pub for drinking, with a large area and a design that feels peaceful! The areas are split well so there were ones to go for a quiet sit down pint and lights are pretty, counter is well-presented and seating is comfortable.

My 1st time visiting and didn't eat but the atmosphere and outstanding 👌 service and staff deserve 👏 praises

I didn't have food hubby just had a drink and the bar staff who was 2 young men was really nice and had good customer service...

Had American trippe burger with drink staff was friendly and quick great service but food could been better onions rings burnt and chips was really dry very good pub tho

Chicken tasted vile. Plate was swimming in oil chips soggie.was asked if we were finished as we hadn't eaten much when i replied it was absolutely awful. Tasted vile. No apologies nothing

Absolutely appalled with the service myself and my 75 year old mother received while visiting this pub for a meal, We was flying out from the airport early hours in the morning we had traveled from machester and booked a air b&b local , we was hungry and not much shops was still open so we decided to go into wethespoons for a meal as i go to my lacal wetherspoons freqentley in machester and the food not to bad, on this occation we ordered fish chips and peas, with that meal you got a drink included i had a gin and my mother had soft drink as she 75, we had the meal and straight away went outside seating area as i was quite roudy inside, within seconds of sitting down i started to feel really funny my head was spinning my heart rate was beating so fast, i was sweating buckets and my vision was very bleared it was very scary, i said to my mother i dont frrl good i feel really funny. she said you have gone grey i had to lie down on the bench with poeple asking am i ok, i felt like i was going to die, as i stopped spinning i sat up and vomited violently i managed to stagger behind the binn as people was drinking sat on te benches it was horrific, I asked management if someone could get someone to clean up with a bucket of water and he said to me you have to go.... i told him that i hadnt been drinking and hadnt drank bthe drink that came with the meal... it was so embarrassing he didnt ask me if i was ok or i needed any assistance or a glass of water he told told me and my 75 year vold mother had to leave i was discussted in the service i recieved.. when we got back to our room my mother at 75 began to v be very poorly, we had the same meal and both was poorly i wish i would of gone to the hospital as i know the food made us both unwell not the best way to be treated by staff the manager at that.... discusting service

Food was nice, but waited 5 minutes to be served even though I was the only one waiting at the time, when I finally did get served it certainly wasn't with any happiness, food came out correctly and pretty quickly but the waiter clearly had no clue what the table numbers were as he hopelessly checked each table before finally getting to me. I went to use the bathroom as I left but as their was no hand soap or toilet roll I didn't bother. Overall disappointing

Went for a evening meal have been several times for breakfast which was lovely, however i woudnt recommend the dinner, i had burger onion rings were burned, my hubby had a curry, naan was over done in micro very hard, bhaji and samosa unedible , hard as rock, didnt enjoy the food

Not been to a Wetherspoon pub for some time but found the Spread Eagle a very good experience. We actually came to attend a funeral at the church across the road at 12.00. We arrived early just after 10.00 because I was worried about finding a place to park. Fortunately there was a public parking lot behind the pub and it only cost just over £3 for 4 hours. The machine accepted cash or card so no hassle with using a so called smart phone. The weather was not good so we passed the time inside the Spread Eagle. I had a coffee and my wife a bacon butty and a cup of tea. Very reasonably priced and we were able to top up the drinks for free. Had a glass of wine before leaving for the funeral. The atmosphere was very good plenty of locals use this place.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat after shopping. Great food, polite & speedy service, food was available and brought to table fast, hot and delicious. Would recommend The Spread Eagle for food and service 10/10 👏👏👏

We visited early morning and so the place was reasonably quiet. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. However, the atmosphere was solemn and not much conversation. It felt like a Doctor's waiting room, inclusive of sound effects of racking cough and sniffles. No smiles, no laughs, just the sense of lonely people, quietly running down an existence in the semi-privacy of their local. Won't be rushing back.

At first you'd think what the hell have I walked into. But when you settle down you'll find its a very friendly place with locals as shoppers enjoying a few beers and a bite to eat.

Shame the staff arn't very welcoming and the food (that wasn't in the fryer) was cold. Were made to feel uncomfortable and told had to order before 8:30, despite seeing food ordered later than us. Just felt judged and unwelcome

Loved the breakfast experience here. It's fairly priced and quite tasty. We were here on a relaxing Sunday morning while visiting Birmingham, and so we caught a nice friendly vibe from the locals who came in for their morning brew and gossip as well.

Don't park at the back. The ticket machine is broken and you will be fined for the privilege.

Working away we use weatherspoons alot. Walked 24 min and the don't even do mix grill Tuesday. 1st weatherspoons I've ever been to that is like this. Busy pub but not a good food place

Staff were friendly, nice atmosphere. But unfortunately the breakfast has left me and family with food poisoning. Very disappointed as we love it there.

Don't know how they do it - a simple Jalfrezi curry with a decent pint for £7.75. Tasted great and was good value for money.

Food below average burger warm but cheese not melted. Venue have gone downhill from 3yrs ago. Will not use again🤨
