The Sportsmans Inn - Ivybridge Hotel in South Hams

Went there for an evening drink, very friendly staff and locals who were having a great time e with karaoke.

Hotel/Pub, quite busy , sports themed decorations (obviously). Good range of beers/lagers, limited range of ciders.

Great staff...very accommodating..Good breakfast ..lovely evening meals...5 minuite walk to town centre...

Had a great comedy evening with 3 comedians including the great Mick Miller all so funny thanks to Bill the landlord for arranging it.

It's OK, found it a bit pricey though.

My room had a nice bed and towels, however it was very noisy with both road traffic and the (not sure what you call it) flan on the outside of the building from the kitchen. My friend came to join me for breakfast, on the menu it stated £8.50 for non guest yet I was charged £10 for hers. Why? Plus all we had was tea, toast and boiled eggs. No offer of help to take my case up the stairs and I found this hard to do at my age. Will not be back

Went for a family function. Very good service and nice staff. Food was plentiful and good. Would definitely go again if I'm in the area.

Booked a room on a Sunday and no information that the bar was closed in the evening. Staff told me i could get dinner at the pub opposite but when I went there that place also had no food in the evening so ended up having a sandwich from Tesco. If i had known i would have booked another place to stay with food.

Lisa, thank you for looking after me , excellent service, very polite and kind. Furthermore, thanks to both chefs Jade and Ben for the fantastic food, the best chicken burger that I've had in ages.
