I can assure you we were all of age. Just wanted to play a friendly game of pool and were told no if we didn’t ALL buy drinks? very strange policy.

Rude staff judged me for being better looking and overall better than him.

Lovely pub I haven't been in for a while, but if I do an overnight fishing trip in the area me and my mate will stop in and have a few jars before we set up.

Great local bar for Kingsbridge. Salts of the earth in here. Pool table, Dartboard. Good bar chat. Great selection of drinks. Not tasted food. Will attend again!

Pretty piss poor. Mildly better then the hermitage pub down the road. Music was very loud. Atmosphere felt hostile to newcomers. Would not visit again.

Distancing is hard to manage with such a small building, but restricting it to locals only was a smart move. While it did cause some hate from tourists, its reason was understandable. Masks don't seem to be required, but its choice is admirable

Plenty of other pubs that are more friendly and welcoming!! While I can understand the rational behind the "locals only" policy, surely there are better ways to ensure your regulars can get in (reservations like many pubs are having to do currently!!). Good to see they are so busy they don't need more business. Let's just ensure when we get back to "normal" we remember this policy and support other pubs in the area instead that need our business and these guys have enough locals to keep them going.

Don't bother. They have a sign outside saying visitors are not welcome. Very strange! Local place for local people only.

I'm not a local at this pub so won't be visiting, but good for you protecting your locals. If the UK Government had closed their borders sooner, we wouldnt have been in this awful mess. 5 stars for having a sensible, rather than popular, policy when it comes to being a landlord. Great stuff!

Working man's boozer with great staff. All sports covered and plenty of knowledgeable pundits on the horses. Great beers, Bass especially and no food, or pretentious.
