Decided on a curry after a few beers down the local. Decided on a chicken madras with leeks naan and egg fried rice. The madras sauce was tasty, nice and spicy but very watery. Only 7 smallish pieces of chicken which was a bit disappointing. Small carton of rice which was three quarters full again disappointing. The keema naan also didn’t have much meat in. But it was ok. Probably wouldn’t have been at all impressed if I was sober 😂.

Most excellent food and service. Try the Famous Railway Mutton curry; superb ! The menu is extensive and a pleasure to choose from.

Ordered tandoori salmon as a starter - waited nearly an hour to be told ‘there’s an issue with the salmon’ (Not sure what this was, maybe they ran out and had to get some more?) When it eventually came, it was uncooked in the middle (obviously rushed), so we sent it back and told them to skip the starter and just carry on the main course. When the main course arrived, it was pretty average, a bit salty for me. We were brought a variety of ‘complimentary extras’ to compensate but we were past it by then. Disappointing because we’ve previously had good meals here and like to support local businesses.
