Hay pantallas alrededor que generalmente muestran un partido de estreno si uno está encendido, además de los dardos o cualquier otro evento está encendido. Es un lugar grande que sirve buena relación calidad-precio sin lujos nosh también. He bebido London Pride y una EPA últimamente. El personal es generalmente amable y servicial y si no está demasiado ocupado comprobará si quieres otra cerveza. También tienen eventos especiales regulares. Que continúe.

I don't think I've seen worse toilets anywhere, ever. It's like the scene out of Trainspotting. If you are taller than about 5'6 then you could just peer over the top of the toilet door at any poor soul who happened to be sat on the toilet. That unfortunate chap would be sat on the rim of a metal toilet which looks like it came out of a prison and which doesn't have a seat. In one of the cubicles they would also be holding the door shut as the bolt just swings in the wind inside a damaged door frame that looks like it's been kicked open during a police raid. Don't fancy the cubicles then? Step over towards the urinals instead and contribute to the stagnant tray of urine which doesn't appear to drain away and is filled with various non descript floating objects. Inhale the heady aromas of bodily fluids as you contemplate how long it's been since someone last cleaned in here and how much you would have to be paid to clean it yourself. I'm honestly shocked the local authority allow them to operate with toilets in that state, it's a real shame as the service was really good and the food was decent but I've been to third world countries with better facilities than this and it's just not acceptable.

Barstaff were very on the ball regarding who was queuing erc for saying how busy it was. Was just about to go to the bar to order food, and unexpectedly got table order. Asked for a cloth to wipe our table, and waitress came over straight away to do it for us. Always start in this pub when visiting notts, and always the same level. Food is always decent as well. For the price, you get plenty

Always a warm welcome, attentive staff, plenty of sporting action to choose to watch, food is very good sports bar style food, drinks are reasonably priced, especially during happy hour (3 hours!!) 🤣

Me gusta mucho este bar y mi esposa y yo vamos allí con bastante frecuencia. El bar tiene una amplia gama de grupos de edad y es acogedor para todos. Ambos somos «pensionistas», pero siempre nos sentimos bienvenidos, a diferencia de algunos lugares donde nos han rechazado por ser demasiado viejos. Estuve allí anoche con mi esposa. Era tarde y el personal llamó a los últimos pedidos, así que bebimos y pedí un Uber. Uno de los empleados vino y nos dijo que iban a cerrar. Como era una noche muy fría, le pregunté si podíamos esperar el Uber dentro y le mostré en mi teléfono que estaba a 2 minutos. Dijo que teníamos que esperar afuera en el frío. Le he dado al bar cuatro estrellas porque nuestras experiencias anteriores han sido muy buenas, pero este fue un ejemplo de servicio al cliente realmente irreflexivo.

Love this bar its genuinely great in so many ways, but the toilets are absolutely disgusting, absolutely stinks of black mould and stale urine. Its not customers being unclean, it's a lack of upkeep and care on the staff and management's parts. Really needs sorting.

I visited south bank and the bouncers are so inappropriate. They made rude comments and asked me me to give them cash on entry. I’ve been a customer here for about 6/7 years and never been approach in this way. I asked on the door if it was tickets only and they said no, so I asked what the cash was needed for and he implied that it was for himself. This is so out of order and needs to be sorted and I will take this higher if I need to.

📣NOT RECOMMENDED I don’t prefer leaving negative reviews but had to for this one. This is the worst racism I’ve felt in the last 3 years of me being in England. I had visited this bar to watch the T20 Cricket World Cup Finals (India Vs South Africa) and like any other sport fan, we were cheering for our team. In the last over, a member of staff visited us to say ‘we understand your excitement but please keep it low’ to which we agreed but the other member of staff just went and switched off our screens just in the last ball so that we are unable to watch the match. This is not what you expect in a Sports Bar. It’s a sports bar for a reason, and I am very sure that just a few people are not as loud.

Came to watch the England match yesterday - excellent experience. Really well organised, lots of screens and a big screen, good selection of beers and fantastic and friendly table service. Well done!

Kicked out for sheltering from the cold when the bar was empty, zero customer service despite the fact I’ve been here nd spent hundreds before on food and drinks previously. Poor customer service, zero empathy. You get what you reap. Train your staff to be decent people not just NPCs looking for sales when the bar is empty. “You’re costing us heating” - you’re just an NPC mate.

Reserved a table for the Rugby match. Was seated downstairs (an area we never knew existed) didn't eat, hence no score. Staff were friendly and service was excellent, especially considering how busy it was

We use this place 4 to 5 times a year to watch F1. The staff and management are fantastic. Great hospitality and can accommodate any sized party. We also have our annual Christmas F1 dinner here and this year it was the best we've ever had. The food was delicious and well portioned. We'll do guys and see you soon.

Visited Saturday 25/11/23 circa 5pm. Was incredibly busy in there. The place had changed significantly since last visited. Not the cosmetics or the bar etc, more the vibe and the people in there. Felt off and we couldn’t wait to get out, felt like it was about to “kick off” The bar staff very efficient and quick service, the toilets are an area for improvement - ie refill toilet roll and clean more regularly

Good bar located in city centre, good for sports with lots of screens throughout. Table service which was a nice touch, friendly staff, nice food with reasonably priced drinks.

Went to see a live band. The sound was great. Everyone was having a great time. The toilets were clean. A better selection of real ale would've been great.

Great atmosphere and much better in here than expected. Arrived around 10pm and there was a band on who were great. This place is a hidden gem to me!

Too noisy, different sports on different TV,s blaring out and having to shout to one another over it.Have 1 sport on at a reasonable sound level is my opinion.

Fantastic atmosphere for sports fans, but pleasant enough for non sport related nights. The beer isn’t lavishly expensive (though it would be a lie to say it’s cheap), but the biggest pleasant surprise one might find is just how wonderful their cocktails are. Their food is also top notch by pub standards.

Travelled to Nottingham for the Superbowl and was really impressed by the event, the table had a great view of multiple screens and the service supplied for food and drink was excellent and the food was of good quality. Definitely met all expectations and would look to go back next year.

Came here for the Wales V England game and the service was very good and very attentive. However, we ordered food and whilst the rest of it was very tasty, the 'hot one' burger was disastrous. I have hot things before but this burger was inedible... I did ask the waitress if we could change it to which she said no as we'd have to pay for another meal... Upon hearing this I then asked if there is anything they could do and she said "there isn't im afraid but these burgers always get taken back because of how hot they are". No warning of the extreme heat of the burger, and it led to quite a dissapinting experience. Even the staff know it isn't right and yet they couldn't do anything about it... Good experience for our group dampened by the hot one experience 🙃

Fantastic experience. Came in before the Forest game, had a lovely breakfast and many beers. I think our server was Allison? She was excellent! Lovely, really friendly and very attentive. Quite a large group of us and she constantly kept on top of our orders. Can’t wait to return!

for price of drinks i was expecting so much more than i get. in really nice cocktail places You will pay same and definitely will get better quality of drinks, customer service with same price. only reason we might be back is many TV screens for sports events.

Without doubt the best sports bar in the city, TV and screen coverage upstairs and downstairs is exceptional. The staff are always welcoming, definitely know their stuff and that includes the door staff who make the place feel secure. There is a massive selection of beers, real ales and top shelf shorts. The food is very good and the menu is wide spread to accommodate all tastes I’ve been here on a few occasions and would recommend this over and over again

Sunday afternoon 5/6 Nottingham City Centre was surprisingly empty, dropped in to watch the Wales v Ukraine match, Blue Moon & fruit cider, used my Nottingham Forest Season Ticket to obtain a 40% discount off food, classic burger/sweet potato fries & loaded chicken tenders/fries food was very good & well presented, total bill with two rounds of drinks £36.

One of my favourite nottingham bars, sometimes travel here from derby to watch the football as its got a great atmosphere which didn't disappoint on new years eve. Plenty of room despite being fairly busy served pretty quick staff friendly as usual decent music look forward to my next visit

It's been 2 years since dining here, due to my location and also Covid. So it was a great delight to lunch here with my Daughter and my son-in-law. They both had wraps, I had, for the second time, the HOT HOT HOT Burger, which to be fair was hit but not painfully so. We watched football on the TV and had a memorable lunch. Everyone enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. So much so that I forgot to take pics of the food. But it was lovely. Had the pleasure of meeting the best pub manager in Nottingham yesterday.

Their Buffalo wings are apparently a ‘home recipe’ I’m not sure how cheese sauce is a home buffalo sauce. I’ve eaten buffalo sauce all I’ve the world and this was the absolute worst. Horrendous.

What a terrible experience!!! We went her today watch the England game on Saturday and the whole experience was appalling. The burgers were cremated, one person didn’t even eat there’s at all because it was that bad and the others only had a few bites and couldn’t have anymore because of how burnt it was. Worst food we’ve ever had and when we raised this with the staff on multiple occasions we was ignored. Eventually One staff member when taking the food away at the end of the match asked why we left the meal and when explained she said she would get the manager but again nothing was done and it was just ignored. This was poor service and will definitely not be returning. I understand the pub was busy because of the game but for £20 you would expect more than a cremated burger that wasn’t even edible and then go be ignored by staff members is just unacceptable.

We booked a table for 6 on a Tuesday evening and were allowed to keep the table as long as we liked. We all had food and drinks and were ordering at different times (some arrived late) however nothing was too much trouble for our servers, the food was fantastic and the service was great, prices were all also very reasonable, There was a good selection of beers and wine and cocktails. will definitely return soon.

Rude staff that avoided eye contact with you if they couldn’t be bothered to serve you. Nice atmosphere and covering but really poor service wouldn’t come again

Sunday 1st November, covid friendly, took table for two, Navigation American IPA was excellent & old mout pineapple bottled cider, due to tier 3 restrictions meal ordered, bourbon melt burger & SBFC chicken burger with fries & slaw food served hot & surprisingly good, football was on the big screens, good atmosphere, food with 3 rounds of drinks £48.

Went here Saturday before a match and everything was just fantastic. Staff, atmosphere and pints were all top class. TVs everywhere and just perfect. Can't wait to go back again.

Not a lover of big menus as a rule. Less is more for me. The GNI group have several outlets that are more refined than here. Its saving grace is that it does a really good all-day breakfast. And of course, superb GNI ales. Always call in when were in the City.

Thank you to the bar staff at Southbank. They went out of their way to look after myself and my son - he is at Loughborough Uni but we decided to meet up for a few hours to watch the football. Great hospitality and service thank you.

Not been in for a while after a fall out over the non use of a sparkler on the hand pulled beers, asked the barman for a pint of today’s best selling cask ale, ended up with a crisp hoppy Fullers six nations beer Swing Low, nice pint & fruit cider, caught the first half of the Watford v Chelsea game on the big screens, I’m still blocked from their Twitter account ☹️

I’ve not eaten the non-Smiffy’s food here, but his BBQ is incredible. Awesome portion sizes and decent prices. Plus they also deliver. The baby back ribs are to die for. The meat just falls off the bone. Go there. Now.

Called in with a friend for lunch and a pint. Ale and lagers were nice. Food not so much. I had the dirty dog. Innovative name, but that was as good as it got. Quite tasteless, bland even. The sausage was burnt on one side. Obviously cooked without turning.Will visit again, but not for food.See photo.

IN the city centre you have a lot of choices were to spend your beer or shorts money and this fine establishment should be on your list, visited before Xmas for a drinks.

Six of us met up for a liquid tour of GNI inns around Nottingham. Not very busy. Enjoyed beer, company and great laughs.

Visited The Southbank to watch Forest v Derby, it was our first time to watch a game here and the atmosphere wad awesome. I can imagine for most big events especially boxing the place would be bouncing.

Only visited for a drink, food menu and what we saw delivered to some tables looked good, good choices of alcohol, great staff, reasonable well maintained, well worth a pint.

Piss all over the floor every time, complained everytime about having to stand in urine everytime i need the loo, but tjey just arnt bothered. Worse toilets in Nottingham!!!!

Sine smokers became popular in England so many places gave started doing smoked bbq food some great some fantastic some try to hard a day so e have no idea, this place is almost there staff friendly and helpful after meal manager /chef/owner came over to check on us food was so so close jalapeño cornbread nearly there burnt ends were as they should be onion rings need to be smaller with less batter and more onion. My friend said chilli was too hot but I found it just right just feel they are so close to being a proper smoked bbq place. Would visit again

Always a favourite place to hang at, authentic american smoke food bring your plenty of portions for your buck! Beers are great, cocktail deals all day and sports programmes on all around the restaurant / bar, what more do you need?!

Called in on a Saturday lunchtime for a couple of drinks, hadn't been in before. Really impressed with the layout of the place, tables not on top of each other and my other half was absolutely delighted at the mini screens showing Sky Sports in the eating booths.There were lots of large TV's showing different sports channels which was the main reason we went in. The guy behind the bar couldn't have been more friendly. I asked for a glass of water as well as our drinks so that I could take a tablet and he was more than willing to oblige.Plenty of staff available which we liked as there is nothing more annoying than a bar having one person serving. We didn't eat but looked at the menu with a view to doing this next time we visit. Will definitely be drinking (and possibly eating) here again next time we visit the city.

Great spot for watching big sports events (Euros/World Cup, etc.) with the big screen in the middle. Food is fine but nothing to write home about.

went last night.we had a few pints of doombar.very good and well kept.burgers not cooked well in middle of burger.chips ok coleslaw not nice. staff friendly.

We came to watch the FA cup final and even though it was very busy there was still a fantastic table service. Staff are very friendly. Very well layed out for sports with plenty of large screen tv's. I had a pizza which was really tasty. So was the brunette.
