Costa Coffee in Nottingham

Shocking really, no cover ( foil wrap they use under the lid) on the drink which of course led to it spilling over everything.

Great coffee and service. I love this Costa, but please fix your WIFI.. awfully slow speeds at 1 mb/s download and 0.2 for upload. Don't come with your laptop if you need to open more than 1 chrome tab

First time trying both these drinks and they were lovely! Driver was prompt and polite.

Excelente ubicación junto a la parada de tranvía en el Teatro Real. Menú estándar, pero es una gran Costa con muchos asientos, un montón de asientos de ventana. Hay dos baños en la planta baja, uno es para usuarios de sillas de ruedas.

Was very late at delivering, and estimated times kept changing, also couldn’t track him down on the tracker, and coffee was cold, despite the foil being put over it.

Amazing service as always from Tim today; arguably make one of the best Coffees locally and it tastes amazing. Thanks K & Tim. I would like to add; last week Tim was the only person on the morning shift, way under staffed and he still remained calm in serving inpatient people. Again thank you Tim. 5* ratings are often driven by feedback recognition to the individual staff members. I would argue the service and Coffee you receive are one of the same. Kaya = 5* Tim = 5*, both exceptional. Amazingly clean Costa!! Again, arguably because of the staff. Macro level - support these wonderful people you have, let your wonderful staff, train and mentor new staff (maintaining that quality). Your staff require more support. Thanks everyone :)))))). I often come to this costa to study and enjoy my quiet time. The atmosphere here is great, everyone is kind, the space is spacious, and the bathrooms are clean. Normal friensly but I'd class it as a super one though as love taste of tge coffee on there brilliant clients

Nothing special , hope was wow but in fact price is really high, service and everything is Oke , not bread options only some cakes but bread and other options are not really nice , and the price ohh !!

Visited the best Costa in Nottm..As I had not seen the brilliant manageress....I believe.named...LIBBY..i was saddened too hear she had actually left the company... ! I always found her very professional and polite...she actually chatted with you like a friend..Had many interesting chats with her of her ,hiking/ rambling adventures. Libby you will sadly missed, not only by the company, but the many customers who knew you .

A Costa is a Costa - This is no different. Normally a pleasant enough experience, but recently it has fallen in my estimations. There is a very rude male member of staff that has joined recently and is really letting the place down. The female manager there and the usual staff are always lovely, but I've witnessed this newer member of staff being rude to various customers across multiple visits. It was not until he was rude to me that I decided to officially complain and write this review.

Served by a really friendly lady called Brooke, she was really efficient & got my drinks ready quickly. They were delicious, she’s a real credit to Costa.

The staff Jo and Jordan are amazing and this is the best tasting coffee there are other coffee shops which are just watered down and undrinkable.

Called in on my way to work, which I do every morning, however, for the last three mornings the selection of alternative milk products has been appalling, no oat milk, no ultimate blend, I was told there was only coconut or soy, both I think are vile. Being as I had to go to Starbucks to get my oat milk drink I might just go here every day from now on.

Incorrect food delivered. Unless vegetarians now eat bacon :(

Drinks up to usual standard. When we went in there were a lot of tables needing clearing of pots. We had to move previous persons pots for a table to sit at. A very busy café as while we sat having our coffee people were queuing out of the door so need to pick the right time to visit.

Clean and tidy Costa with polite and friendly staff, toilets were clean and smell clean.

Unreasonable substitution. I do not even know what they've sent.

Wrong item received. Inedible. Very disappointing.

Great place for quality food and in an excellent location. I've had two trips already and noticed an Asian barrista - she's terrible, a very cocky little woman, needs to be either removed or retrained in her job. Apart from her, it's great place, would of given full marks if it wasn't for the barrista.

When it comes to Costa cafes in Nottingham, this one stands out as my absolute favorite. The team of staff here is consistently warm and friendly

I apologise to "just-eat.co.uk". I thought my order was never delivered. It turns out that that the courier was made to wait a rather long time by Costa Coffee, before the order could be fulfilled. Unfortunately, the instructions made to the app appeared as if the courier had abandoned the delivery and gone on to some other food order for another customer. So, therefore, a refund is not necessary, at all. I am, though, angry with Costa Coffee for holding up my order for more than 2 hours. So, all I ask the riders/delivery drivers next time, is to not input into their electronic device that an order has been "Delivered" when it hasn't ! It saves a lot of unwanted and unnecessary anger. It also stops mixed messages being sent to "Just Eat" by annoyed customers who mistakenly think they have been swindled/cheated.

extremely slow service, took them 15 minutes to make my order even though the store was empty. They also made me the wrong order. Never going there again if they don’t change their stuff members.

A modern and quiet, popular with students, sadly if you're a person that does not eat meat or bread cake is left for you. The staff are always happy and know the product, the coffee is wonderful

Definitely my favourite Costa in notts! Staff are always friendly and nice, and the coffee is spot on! The team are really doing an amazing job, especially as it’s so busy all the time! Great place to stay in and study, work or catch up with friends!

Staff at this store are always friendly and helpful, and always considerate of their service when I advise them of my hearing loss - that's why I enjoy coming back to this store 😊

Absolutely lovely service, very kind and went an extra mile for a customer, which I very much appreciate. The only downside is that they close quite early, whereas primark I believe remains open untill a bit later but that's understandable as most cafés in town close around the same time. I always come by when I'm around.

This Costa is not the easiest to find, without the Google maps not sure I would have found it. Staff customer service skills were excellent

Brilliant place close to the tram stop, theatre royal/Royal concert Hall and town. Good choice of seating and drinks /food friendly staff.

After going there daily I now no longer use Costa thanks to the recent price increase, disgraceful

Sadly, really disappointed. It was my first visit with a work colleague, and I asked the barista for two drinks, one with cream, one without. She double checked the cream with us THREE times. It's nice that she checked but it wasn't a complicated order, the two drinks were straight off the menu with no special additions... Mango frappés. I then asked for two slices of cake to go; she struggled to put them in the bag, eventually succeeding by using a combination of the cake slice and her fingers, with no gloves! She dropped both slices in upside down so the cream scraped off on the lip of the bag and then got stuck to the bottom. The two drinks took 4-5 minutes to make (with no other customers or orders) and we then found the frappés contained bubbles which wouldn't fit up the cardboard straws, so they were basically impossible to drink. To be charged £15 for this wreckage was absolutely ludicrous, I could get a starter and a drink at the nearby Marco Pierre Steakhouse for that price! Needless to say, I absolutely won't be returning. People who go here regularly must be lottery winners with no common sense.

A great coffee shop, always happy and great coffee

Only problem with all coffee shops as with this one. People buy a coffee then sit in the best available seat for about 4 hours with his or her laptop nursing the same cup. The disable toilet was out of order as well.

I went in yesterday as a regular customer was discussed when my partner took me to use disabled facilities and yet again they were out of order four weeks they been out of order

Shop itself is lovely but can't say the same for the staff, the women on the till came across very rude, kept giving us dirty looks and just didn't seem interested at all. Also the women helping her make orders got ours wrong but we felt like we couldn't say anything due to the rudeness and how uninterested they were. The women on till kept looking over at us while we were trying to enjoy our drinks which made us feel uncomfortable. The young man making drinks was the only nice member of staff there.

Very poor, service was slow. I have never had to wait so long to get a drink. Only 2 people serving.1 on till, 1 on drinks. 20 mins to get a drink.6 in the queue when I joined . By the time I got served they were queuing out the door. It was only 10.30am. Surely get more staff to deal with online orders & speed up. Whilst waiting saw food getting cold waiting for drinks. Never going there again.

As you might expect from Costa the staff are well trained and friendly. The drinks were excellent. The food was carefully laid out. The tables, chairs and floor were clean and tidy. This is a first rate Costa.

Nice out of the way venue which was nice and quiet worth the short walk from the centre

Centrally located only 100 metres away from the Royal Centre Tramstop There is no code necessary for the toilets unlike to other Costa coffee shops

Shad & Gavin were on duty when we arrived, we had a natter about work and football. We had two Flat whites,it was quite busy but these two ALWAYS have time to talk to you. Chelsea ( manager ) was there as well, we spoke to her for a few minutes. We had a good visit , really enjoyed it.👍

Chain coffee shop. Cheap very dark roast beans.

Came in this morning, 1 member of staff on for a que of 9 people, clearly has no understanding that people have jobs to get to, the point of costa is to pop in to grab a coffee, you should not have to wait over 10 mins before you are even spoken too. Will not be using here again before work or on work breaks. Use cafe nero instead much more better customer service and the batistas know how to manage multiple orders in a timely fashion. Costa put more of a focus on their online orders then people infront of them in store.

Our latte did not have the Costa taste, my partner and I suspected the milk was non fat. It was not a nice taste.

My local. Use most days. Staff and coffee are great.

Claimed to be open 24 hours on google and I walked all the way there to find its open 8am til 4pm

Lovely service, want down from my room with cash but had no till so went back up to room to get my card and what back down they said they turned the system off. So she said to her colleague to make a cappuccino on the house only because he gone up to get he card also have some little gift I want to say a BIG THANK YOU. El personal aquí es increíblemente de mala educación. He pasado la mañana trabajando y he escuchado las conversaciones más rudas. La supervisora (?) Habla increíblemente fuerte sobre sus propios problemas personales, completamente ajena al resto de la gente de la costa y grita y maldice mucho. El personal masculino que también trabaja aquí es brusco y grosero al recibir órdenes y es impactante que sean tan groseros. Nada impresionado, servicio muy lento y total ignorancia de las reglas de Covid ya que no usan máscaras correctamente.

Well organised for the Covid restrictions both in queuing and seating, as well as being clean. The coffee was well made and hot.

Nice cosy spot for a cup of coffee, not many people go so its spacious and it's right near my college. Great place to go when I don't have access to the canteen.

Usual costa coffees but a bigger place than most, with social distancing in place. They've also passed on the VAT saving, so everything is a bit cheaper. Nothing not to like

I'm a frequent visiter here and the staff are always brilliant. The coffee is always good and, unlike Starbucks and Nero, they have never mixed up my decaf order!
