Mojo in Nottingham

Me and the girls had wonderful time here. The staff are so friendly and music is great.

Do not accept cash so I will not be going there again. They put diet coke in Jack Daniels and coke, they don't serve any other coke other than diet, which makes the JD & coke taste crap 🤢.

Used to go here a lot in previous years, music was good and decent crowd. Now the music is pretty poor in my opinion, just a lot of older pop music, lots of creepy older men lurking, lots of people vaping inside.

Nice place and great atmosphere but when it comes to some people to buy drinks it's always card only as not good as some people have cash not card when it's a night out and not fair when not have that option 😕

Crazy bouncer came up and pushed me and mates of a table on new years eve he then goes an accuses me of fighting back which I wasn't even doing grabs me by the arm and forcefully pulled me out and through me down the stairs and has me flying straight into the road almost getting ran over bouncers are just nutters don't recommend

MOJO BAR Review (Original Creation) MOJO BAR was a place where I truly felt alive—a burst of vibrant energy, a blend of light thatand music that transformed me. It was like stepping into another world where my deepest love could be expressed without fear. The joy  filled me was so contagious, I couldn’t help but share it with everyone around me. The music, the movement, the colors, all woven together in a space that invited you to shine, to dance, to be your true self. In that environment, I gave away roses, symbolizing my gratitude and appreciation for the connections being formed. It was more than just a night of fun—it was a celebration of life, of love, and of the relationships that can emerge in unexpected places. People responded with such warmth and kindness, whether it was offering me water with lemon when I was thirsty or sharing good alcohol, energy drinks, and food when I was feeling vulnerable. been to mojo twice now for pre-drinks before work meals, both times lucy served us our drinks. such a lovely, well mannered server. makes excellent drinks! mojo is great for nights out too, when you don’t want the night to end, for late night drinks! love the music playlist too :)

Was in there this Saturday night with mate and had a bottle or something hit hard on the back of my head, then a woman bouncer came over to me and pulled me and kicked me out. So not only was I attacked unprovoked, I was also kicked out. My mate followed me and noticed that blood was pouring from the back of my head. My new jacket which cost me a fortune was ruined…for what??? Please be careful when going in this place!

I attended the Mushrooms at Mojo event on Friday and had a fabulous time. The host, The Nottingham Forager, was brilliant, providing lots of mushrooms nibbles that are slightly out the norm but not terrifying, a mushroom quiz to test your knowledge on some weird and wonderful facts and put on an excellent talk about mushrooms alongside showing examples she had been out and picked that week in Nottingham. It was a real eye opener on what is around you, despite living in a city. Mojo itself was great, spacious, clean and staff on hand to help with any requests or needs. A great venue overall. Thank you for a fab night. I look forward to the next event.

This place is a dive bar, but you go in for that reason. Dance on the tables and chairs, below average DJ, but it was very busy due to opening(closing) time. Will end up here again in the future.

We headed for a special event hosted by Mojo’s Lucy (aka The Nottingham Forager). It was a fab evening with a talk about foraging mushrooms in Notts. With great service from Lucy and lots of fab cocktails and mushroom y foods to taste too. Great atmosphere.

Brill time got served fast was packed but great vibes, got kicked out dead fast after close but that's fair they want to go home and they were nice enough to let us use the toilet first great people.

We had a wonderful time here when it was hosting The Nottingham Forager for one of the mushroom talks. The venue was lovely very spacious and clean. The staff were amazing, really helpful and fun.

I went there for the first time the other night expecting the average bar experience but was welcomed with the worst bar tender I have ever met. I had noticed he scammed a customer of a £9.50 tip and when I went to point it out he got angry and threw a lime at me. Someone next to me saw that and threw the limd back at him to which he automatically assumed it was me and proceeded to spray me with soda water and ignored serving me. I have never met a ruder, distasteful and off putting bar tender in my life. He not only ruined my night, but also the person he scammed of a tip and the others he managed to squirt with soda water who were beside me. After asking a different bartender I found out that his name was Lawrence Farmer… I do not believe he’s cut out for any job that interacts with customers.

I had an amazing time at Mojo Nightclub! The venue stays open late, which is perfect for a night out. The dance floor is fantastic, offering plenty of space to dance and great music to keep the energy up. The drinks are reasonably priced, making it an excellent spot for a fun and affordable night. Highly recommend!

Best place to go to after hours

Had an amazing mushroom themed evening with the Nottingham Forager at Mojo. Made mushroom cocktails with Lawrence..much fun.

I went to a mushroom workshop with the Nottingham Forager at Mojo. This included making a cocktail with the lovely Lawrence. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we came in. Thanks for a lovely evening. It's a great venue. 👍

Spent a slightly drunken Bank holiday Sunday throwing some shapes and great time had!

On the 26/5/2024 my partner got assaulted by one of the door staff because apparently he was filming a woman inside, which is not true because his battery died and there was no videos on mine either. When he went on to defend himself telling the door staff it wasn’t him he was punched so hard that it caused a nosebleed and him to be knocked on to the floor I had to quickly put him in a taxi home when he got home he was complaining his shoulder was hurting so he went to hospital and he has broken his shoulder. I’m absolutely disgusted in the aggressive behaviour the doorman caused to my partner. The police have been informed and will be investigating this matter.

Fantastic place. Always very welcoming and smiling staff (Even the door staff). The drinks are always on point, I really enjoy coming here and letting my dreads down after work it feels very safe and I always have a good laugh with a lot of the staff but especially Jr, Jack and Kourtney.

Was there at the weekend and the music was good, the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately the small brunette barmaid behind the bar was awful in the way of customer service. She was rude, ignorant and made us feel guilty about ordering a drink. My mate added a drink into his order and she rolled her eyes like it was an inconvenience and turned her nose up. Shocking. Only thing I can think of is she must have had the painters in. Shame really.

Great place for drinking and atmosphere was good too
