DO NOT waste your time downloading the app as it suggests at the table, it simply doesn't work. So that was negative no. 1. Number 2 was for most of our party, the food was unavailable. If you like your pub to have an inordinate number of sports screens, then you'll be in heaven here. We were unable to find a table more than a few feet away from a screen. But, meh, that might be your bag. It's in a very nice location though but it's not for us. We ended up walking out to find a more suitable pub.

Megan, Tam, Zara, we're all amazing looking after the group at bottomless brunch. We had food and drinks sorted ASAP, and plenty of recommendations for drinks selections which was great! Thanks to the team, I entered Soar Point as a stranger, but left as a friend.

Had the bottomless brunch with mates and honestly was the best way to spend a sunday, Luke really made us feel welcome and really liked after us, if you don't get the chance then make the chance, get your friends in and have a wholesome afternoon at Soar Point

Came here as a group for bottomless brunch. Food was great, drinks went down perfectly and the staffs service was great. We were served by Sam and Candy and we had a great time, the atmosphere was fab. We will definitely be back

We was only going for a couple pints and the football on Sunday but seen bottomless brunch £30 pp unlimited booze and a meal! Menu is HUGE basically everything x staff fantastic!!! X service super friendly and fast x 10/10

Me and my partner came to have bottomless brunch today for our anniversary and the team put love heart sweets on our table which was so cute. The food was amazing , the drinks were amazing and Meg was amazing she is so friendly and so consistent with her check backs on drinks. Also have to say I'm a huge fan of the pokemon inspired review cards.

Been here a few times, mainly before football. Can get busy, but no more than 5 mins wait at bar I'd say.

Came here for a bottomless brunch, 2nd time I've been here for one and it was still very good! Even though they were busy the drink service was swift and they didn't neglect the tables. Food was prompt after our arrival (large party so had preordered) and was pretty tasty!

Not tasty as food was too much overcooked. Instead of golden crispy chicken, poor chicken was black, and hard as wood. Not even mentions bacon. Service- there wasn't busy at all, but still waiters preferred to talk to each other instead of serving.

Watched the euros final there and the experience was amazing unlike the match.

Great food and drinks staff let it down with rudeness, one female server was amazing but encountered a member of staff who wasn’t happy and was snappy and then one of my friends got pushed out the way by a member of staff near the bar and when she said something the reply was “well don’t get in my way then” I’m a big supporter of businesses and praising but this is not acceptable. Will go to the Distillery for bottomless brunch next time

Lively pub with a fun, student-focused atmosphere, although still a good choice with young teens. Two pool tables and some older games consoles on some of the tables makes for some entertainment but unless your wanting food or drink, there’s not enough here to be entertaining in its own right. Not tried the food but a good mix of name brand beers and some local specials shown on a TV screen behind the bar. Can’t fault the place!

I visited for the first time with friends. It's actually a really nice place for drinks we didn't eat here. A canal runs through the beer garden so you can enjoy the fresh air with your fav tipple.

Great place to go for watching the football. I didn't have any food but it looked good.

It was beyond rammed, so no where to sit but good atmosphere. Staff were really helpful in trying to help spot a couple spare seats if they became available

Exceptionally good bottomless brunch. It was so good I went 2 days in the trot. All the staff were fantastic as always. Drinks arrived super fast. Been to a lot of BB in Leicester and this is by far the best. Thanks Soar Point team you are brilliant 🙌🏻

I have rated almost every pub in Leicester (see prior reviews) and this is unfortunately the worst.... This place is like when you go on a business trip somewhere and you just go to the hotel bar and pay whatever they want as you have no concept about what is local or local prices. No cask, a number of keg beers on, all london based (mostly lager, three out of the six tasted identical) and the most expensive pint in town at over SIX POUNDS THIRTY a pint. Oddly you can order a flight of three keg beers for £6.35 which is most often cheaper than ordering one pint of one specific beer (so heres a trick order your pint as thirds to get it midly cheaper) They do over priced burgers and fries, as well as pizza, although when we asked for pizza they said it was not available (huh?) good location by the river but that price point.... Feels like this place is here to fleece students out of their loans, the name of this place is ironically apt.

One of my fave places. Always a great place for a drink, the team are really friendly and helpful. The food is decent burgers, pizza, chicken wings... great food to accompany your beers. Speaking of beers, decent choice and a regular rotation of craft beers mean there is always something I can enjoy

We have been visiting since the early 2000s, never had a bad time in this boozer. Scream days were great during student days. Then during Braunstone gate heyday we'd always still come to the point. Watched Leicester city win the prem from here when couldn't go to games That Hazard goal and the place erupting. Great bar, goos staff, food, drinks, prices - highly recommended. Still don't get why it is the only riverside bar we have in the city. But it does its job so well that it makes up for the lack of others. Great to see it still busy with young students, now we're in our 40s and only get out once in a while for beers.

Soar Point is one of the most popular sports bars in the city. Its in a really good location, right by the canal. I've frequented this bar a lot over the years to hang out with friends and watch football. The inside decor is really nice and there's lots of comfortable seating areas to chill in. The outside decking area is a great spot during the warmer months as well. Food and drinks are really expensive though.

Just had some pizza which is new on their menu. Really good. Fish and chips was great value. Be back soon for some of the brilliant craft ales.
