Lovely selection on the menu and relaxed eating experience. Server Alex was really nice.

I go to the Snowy Owl regularly but my friends hasn’t been for ages and is already talking about going again! we went with three small dogs and were welcomed, the dogs were fussed and treated and we were made to feel very at home and that the place is actually dog friendly and not just dog tolerant!!!

Fantastic midweek meal out with my fiancé. Alex, our server, was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to come again!

We had lunch with our grandson who was due be off for a year at a university in Canada. We won't see him for a year. We've been here before and, as on previous occasions, the food was excellent and the service was also good (thank you Alex).

Nice cosy pub. Good not great. Lamb kebab was absolutely tiny. No one was a fan of the food this time. Chips aren’t triple cooked, just taste frozen

Pub is lovely, but looking tired in places, great for a drink its set in lovely settings and this isnt the first time we have visited. Over time the food has gone down hill, It was below standard, all seemed microwaved, fish was lovely however, batter was a challenge.. overall we won't be back in a hurry until they up their game.

We hadn't been for a number of years. It was ok at the time. We decided to try it tonight and weren't disappointed. The food was really nice, better than previous times (before Vintage Inns), and the service from Alex was friendly, pleasant and just attentive enough without being annoying 😁. The lady who brought our food was lovely too (sorry I didn't get her name), very helpful and smiley. We will return soon.

We used to visit years ago and it was pretty good until it went downhill. We thought we should try again since it's been 15 years and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was better than it has ever been.

A fantastic place full of character and charm. The seating is comfortable and there is plenty of space. We had a family gathering so needed a good size table. The staff were brilliant and really helpful. Service was friendly, efficient and very slick. The food was superb, each meal was beautifully presented and really tasty, everyone enjoyed their meals. The prices are good considering the quality of ingredients and the fact it is all freshly prepared. We will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic tea at the snowy owl from walking in to walking out we were made so welcome, the young girl terri who served us was so lovely and explained the menu to us in great detail.when the food did arrive it was perfect, compliments to the chef which i asked his name ( Michael )it was so tasty we shall return sooner rather than later . 5 star

Delicious Sunday roast in a friendly atmosphere and best of all it has a dog friendly area so can bring the dogs too!

Come to the Snowy Owl for fabulous food, and waiting staff who will teach you stuff yoy never knew. Such as Alex who explained the difference between Peroni brewed in the UK versus the real deal in Italy. Great evening!

Came on a Monday evening and it was lovely. Nice chilled atmosphere. We had two dogs with us too so we were 'restricted' to the bar area, which is a nice area anyways. Dan took our order as we required gluten free options. The food was brilliant. Can't wait to come back.

Went for dinner with my husband from stepping inside we where greeted by staff who where very pleasant and friendly food order was taken by a lovely young lady called Sarah very polite and friendly a credit to her employer our food was delicious and well presented a credit to the chef all in all we had a most enjoyable evening will definitely go back and would highly recommend the snowy owl.

Always an amazing experience. Great food, drink and service every time I'm here, I hear a some customers whinge there's not enough meat on the skewers just a friendly suggestion.

Went to the Snowy owl with my partner on Sunday. Our food was delicious and our waitress, Sarah, couldn’t have made us feel more at home. I would definitely recommend a visit.

We had difficulty getting 2 double gin & tonics which were drinkable but in fairness to the staff the dealt with the problem swiftly & were very pleasant. Pricy though so be aware of that if you're going!

I came in for Sunday lunch yesterday and the entire experience was fab! Our server Sarah was friendly and efficient. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. She was attentive, and the food arrived promptly. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

Called in for a breakfast before starting a long journey, lovely food & great service

I came in today for a Sunday dinner, I was served by a younger lass, I believe her name was Sarah. It was exceptional and fast service and Sarah was a delight. Will be returning for sure!

Popped in for a drink with our 2 JRTs and sat outside as they are still puppies and into everything plus it was a beautiful day. The garden area must be being revamped as only 2 tables which is fair enough but we were so disappointed with the rubbish around the table we sat out. Cigarette butts, bread wrapper, cigarette box, old rotten wood from fencing & sweet wrappers. I know it's not the snowy owls fault but a bit of effort could be made by removing it. Plants and flowers could be added to make it a lot more pleasant. It has put me off sitting outside again. Lovely pub. Enjoyed a birthday meal here although the plate did look a bit sparce. Seemed to have sold out of a few dishes but ours were available. Nice atmosphere. Seemed a little short staffed. Would recommend.

The salad served to us was deconstructed. We were delivered whole fillets of chicken (unchopped) and pale bacon (unchopped) beside a bowl of rocket which should have been baby gem. I felt that I had to construct my own salad and I also only ordered it because the description specifically said baby gem. I don't like rocket. Also my wife asked for crab cakes as a main instead of a starter but it arrived as a starter with a couple of sides. Overall, an underwhelming meal.

We had a lovely time visiting the Snowy Owl today. Our server Mia was wonderful - she was very attentive, friendly and great with the kids and dogs.

We were served by Julie and she was really great. I’m travelling from Perth, WA and loved the personal touch she added to her service and the friendly chat at the table. It’s not often you would experience service like that at a local pub in Perth. Thanks for lunch!

The Snowy Owl has long been a family favourite. Sometimes the food is not quite as high end as the prices suggest it should be, but the ambience is always cosy and the staff friendly. We visited on a Saturday evening in May, as a group of 8, including one rather boisterous 5 year old. We were made very welcome, and the child's behaviour was tolerated politely by smiling staff (whatever they may have been thinking). The food was good. No complaints. How much is frozen and, or, microwaved could be a subject for discussion...for example the onion rings. My wife said " If those are actually beer battered, and not breadcrumbed ones from Asda I will show my bottom in Fenwicks window"

Everything was great for the morning after the engagement party. Food was great, service was better. No doubt they are busy all the time, so book a table. Great coffee brand too. Evidently they don't do extra hot coffee though.

We went here as a family for a Sunday lunch and it was fantastic. The menu was great and extensive. We had the trio of meats, the fillet steak and the chicken and there was more than plenty. The dessert menu, often a let down at other restaurants, was really good. Our server, Alex, was very attentive and a credit to the restaurant. Overall we had a brilliant time. We will definitely be going back. ❤️

We were served by Alex and he had the perfect amount of hands on/hands off service; not too in your face but accessible when you want an additional drink The food is very solid, especially as local restaurants go in Cramlington. My standards may be slightly skewed due to my time working in Michelin restaurants however! Overall highly recommend for the staff and atmosphere!

Absolutely lovely meal with my grandma, we chose seabass. Loads of flavour and perfectly cooked. We also really enjoyed dessert, vegan apple and blackberry crumble and sticky toffee pudding. Service was excellent from Alex. Highly recommend, we shall visit again soon 😊

Had a great stay here 23rd to 24th of June. I am staff for M&B and I have a wealth of experience in hospitality. This means I have a decent gauge of what to expect. They surpassed my expectations. The staff and management who were on this night were excellent, the food was top notch, the room was spacious and modernised, with clean amenities and so close to major transport links (A1). Food was fantastic, location is stunning and again, without knowing names, whichever bar and service staff worked the night of Sunday the 23rd absolutely smashed it out of the park, so friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Would recommend to anyone from near or far. We/I will certainly stay and dine there again. Excellent links to Northumberland and Tyne/Wear for travellers. Breakfast was also tremendous. 5* Cheers!

Lovely service. Julie, the server at the snowy owl, was pleasent to talk to, helpful and very welcoming. My partner and I often struggle with social interaction but she made me feel very comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxing and I feel there was an effort not to stick diners next to each other if there's space. The lunch deal I think was great. Mac and cheese and the chicken parma are recommended. Brownine was slightly overly rich, but this is just personal preference. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice lunch or dinner.

Terrible service and over priced pub food.

When I’ve gone in a bigger group we have had shocking service and often been ignored, had food missed/late, and just not had a great experience. But in a group 4 or less the service is great and everything goes smoothly. The food is always good apart from once. Ordered a hoisin duck pizza and the menu said it came with spring onions but it had red onions which was a bit weird, it also had a tomato base instead of the hoisin one. I had had it before and enjoyed it but it wasn’t very nice this time.

Good food, great table service. Very minor point that when we arrived we had to stop a waitress to ask about our reservation as there was nowhere that we could see to announce our arrival and there was nobody behind the bar either.
