Hard to pick something from amongst the many interesting options in the menu. My wife rated the soup "perfect" and I ordered the "beetroot spread" which was also great. We will definitely be going back to sample some of the other dishes.

We visited this place whilst wondering through the area and mainly stumbled across it as we wanted to take shelter from the rain! Glad we did - friendly service, good menu and the food we had was great. Really nice hot chocolate too!

We visited this outstanding cafe last year and so last week on our return to Edinburgh we knew another visit was a must! We had breakfast here on Nov 2nd on a rainy cold morning and it was a delight. Our hosts here clearly love what they do and are very skilled and full of imagination when it comes to making a very varied menu including desserts and sweet treats. One of us needed a dairy, gluten and egg free breakfast but this was not a problem at all and the food we were served was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. It certainly set us up for our long walk to the sea. Love the cafe decor and interesting artwork too! Thank you and hope to see you again when we come back to Edinburgh.

This wee cafe is near my work and if I can i leave enough time to have lunch here before starting. The people are lovely, the decor is interesting and welcoming and the food is just FABULOUS! My favourite is the scrambled tofu which is the nicest I've ever had. there's a wide range of other meals and snacks too. The prices are reasonable and i am always spoiled for choice. Very highly recommended.

We had done some shopping and were looking for a place to relax and have a drink, when walking by the Sly Fox. It appeared very pleasant, so we entered. A friendly lady showed us to a table and we were handed over the menu. I looked. bit around, appreciating the decoration, when noticing many thing were Czech and understood where the scent I did not recognise came from. Great. I also realised the restaurant was Vegan, no problem either, interesting though. Yes, I eat meat, but meat is not essential and I am interested in any kitchen. So, we then were able to order. We ordered a soup of the day, a Tomato soup, an Avocado Bagel (I am not sure about the name...) and a Spicy Goulash. All appeared very nice. They tasted even better, I, a meat eater, was very impressed by the goulash. I will be experimenting at home. e will surely return, if an occasion turns up.

Absolutely gorgeous place to visit. The coffee was incredible! Best I've had and reasonably priced considering the venue has a very up market vibe. Friendly staff too. Will definitely come back again for the food as it looked delicious.

I was looking for a birthday cake for my brother. I wanted something which would not only look amazing but also taste great. Kalina provided outstanding customer service. She answered all my questions, she was very open to what I wanted and came up with some ideas too. It was a pleasure to meet her in person as Kalina is very friendly and warm person. The cake she made for my brother was exceptional! Fresh, full of rich flavour and not too sweet. Very tasty!

Lovely little cafe, with friendly and helpful staff and a great selection of food. It was a perfect place to meet friends from Rome and the Netherlands. Our group ordered a wide variety of choices from the menu including the soup, Scottish breakfast, scrambled eggs and salmon, smoothies, waffles, carrot cake and tea - all delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the owl cushions very comfy. You could miss it walking by, but well worth searching it out and popping in. It extends a way back - a bit of a tardis for seating.
