Wonderful lunch, must keep the festive burger on the menu permanently!

Atmosphere was lively, we had Xmas Fayre meal which was well organised and delicious, staff were very pleasant and helpful

Really disappointed with our visit tonight. Food wasn't very warm, steak certainly wasn't sirloin and not cooked to how we wanted it. Service was terrible, dirty plates left after each course, had to ask for them to be taken away.

Liked it we are coming back for Christmas dinner

Had a lovely Sunday carvery today, barman David was very friendly and welcoming, kitchen staff rob and Matty were friendly and hardworking always helpful to your needs,we will definitely be back again 👍

Modern carvery style pub, with a definite hotel reception vibe going on. Several groups or families having meals or just meeting up and then going on to other venues. The staff were friendly and efficient, offering suggestions on dining options and seating arrangements. All in all not a bad experience.

Came for a very belated anniversary meal with the husband. The service from Neil was amazing, food was great. The only place we really go to when we fancy a quick meal.

Lovely comfort food and calm atmosphere, very cosy!!

First time we had been to this place and what a lovely warm welcome we got from the girl at the bar wish i had got her name made to feel very welcome. Food was really nice will be returning good value for money.

2nd visit after first going 4 years ago. Service, beer, food and good company as good as ever. As long as we don't get relegated I'll be back next season 🍻

From start to finish everything was amazing. The room was beautifully decorated and the service from the staff was perfect. The food was gorgeous and everyone there was so polite and helpful which made the night even better. Abbey and Chloe went above and beyond to ensure everyone had and got what they wanted. 100% recommend and will be back again.

Had my 60th here they went above and beyond, food was spot on, great friendly staff, going to try the carvery on Sunday been told it's really nice and a little bit cheaper than Toby,winner chicken dinner 🍽 👌

Poor service. Very slow. Table was sticky and we cleaned it ourselves. Dirty cutlery. Empty sauce bottles. Staff dumped drinks on table. Not even a smile or sorry.

We got greeted today by a girl called Ella she new the service user who I brought in,she said hello to him and said usual seat so we followed her. Ella was really positive to the service user talking away to him.Great job Ella from six medals Middlesbrough.

Often come here for Sunday Dinner. She staff are great and the Carvery is lovely. We were served by George today who was polite and friendly.

Always hit and miss this place. This will be my last time visiting. Carvery was absolutely disgusting. Most of the food cold and hard. Avoid.

Up from Sheffield for a match at the Riverside and popped into the Six Medals for a pre match drink and meal . Great place not too busy and staff, food and overall experience was excellent. Result not that great but hey can’t win em all!!.

We came for a carvery and it was amazing the 1st time we came when it opened it was awful that was a while ago. But wow was beautiful, lovely place amazing staff we love it it here. Especially Leanne she goes above and beyond xx

Leanne was an amazing host. Catered for everything and made sure everyone at the baby shower had everything to they needed

Manager was excellent - friendly and very helpful about our order. We love the atmosphere of the Six Medals pub & this is down to the commitment & vision the manager has for the pub. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area or locals looking for a change of scene.

Excellent quality food cooked to perfection. My husband had the steak deal the steak was medium rare spot on. I had scampi & fries light & golden and hot. The atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly staff. At least four TVs situated around different areas. Music on. Pool table. Hygiene is excellent. Definitely will return

Travelled to meet up with some friends and we met up here for a meal and some drinks. Excellent service, was treated with respect and kindness by all the staff. Service was professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Will definitely return on my next visit to the area. I'd Highly and happily recommend this place to anyone.

We use to regularly come in hear as food and staff are great, we have moved away but still make time to pop in when in the area. We have a sen child and staff are fantastic with her and just role with her Absolutely amazing pub we'll done to all

Very pleased with everything here...there was 3 adults and a teenager in our group. We all had Sunday Roast with drinks, stayed longer than normal as the atmosphere was very lovely and homely. Staff seem happy to work there too( it is very rare these days) this is most definitely down to good management! We will be definitely returning.

Working in the area we needed somewhere to eat after work. Found this great little place, good beer, good food, good prices and excellent service

Excellent and very friendly service, the barman very kindly gave my dad a pint on the house after he sent his first one flying. Good food and well priced to boot.

Booked a table early on in the week got an email that they had received it but then 2 days later recieved another to say that the reservation had been cancelled reason was down to me cancelling or not having the space. Turned up at the pub to be told by the staff they didn’t take reservations on match days which was nice of them to not even bother to inform me of this having my disabled grandad with us. Luckily got a seat but funnily enough see that there was a reserved plaque on the table behind me. So for them to say they don’t take booking they must favourite certain customers. When ordering food to find half the menu wasn’t even on along with them bringing my son and husbands meals out before all of ours so we eat separately. I have been a few times to this place and not had complaints but yesterday was the worst experience and won’t be rushing back anytime soon utterly disappointed!!!!

Poped in for a Sunday carvery on the off chance they had a table as we haven’t booked but we were out getting last minute things before our holiday and the lovely Leanne found us a spare table. The service we revived was great and carvery was gorgeous

Went for lunch with my wife for our wedding anniversary brilliant food as always we had our wedding reception meal here back in 2022 love the place the staff are spot on thanks six medals

Had a lovely meal with my family. Lovely atmosphere for the kids the halloween decorations are fab. The shift leader/ manager was welcoming and really tentive. Food was lovely.

Allergy knowledge and understanding was the best I’ve dealt with in the last 7 years, I was made to feel at ease and really comfortable very quickly, more venues and service staff need training by Arron. Came here the other day, least i can say is that i wont be going back!! The staff was nothing but rude, getting dirty looks when all i did was smile at them, no polite manners or nothing… Also Food was disgusting tasted like a undercooked microwave meal, burger wasn't cooked properly and all we wanted was a nice family day out for food.. our table was sticky and not cleaned properly

Rob on the carvery was very welcoming and friendly, had a laugh with my son and made him feel very comfortable, was a very pleasant experience from Rob.

Lauren was our server, she was extremely helpful and polite, food was quick, highly reccomend

Sunday roast was delicious. Service was fast and friendly.

Went for a meal today (served by Arran & Alicia) and I can definitely say we will be back! Very dog friendly for starters which was lovely and a big plus for us as we take our dog everywhere. The food was fantastic, we had the buttermilk chicken for starters which was very tender and juicy, and for our mains we had sausage and mash which was actually better than some higher end places we've had the same meal. Sausages were very tasty, gravy was delicious, sautéed red onions added a lovely taste but the mash was the star of the show, it was so creamy and buttery, absolutely to die for and really fresh, not like the mash usually served in pub chains. Everything tasted home made and was really piping hot when it came out. Fantastic place, exceeded our expectations and would recommend it to anyone.

Visited here for tea with family and was fairly disappointed. Service was ok but not great. No cuttlery brought to us so had to get it from another table. Table was sticky and not clean. Food and crumbs on carpet. Food was very basic and certainly not worth it.

Visited for dinner a couple of times here as it's near to work and the staff are really friendly, the food is great and its a nice looking place. Plenty of parking, great selection of draught beers and lagers and a decent beer garden. Thoroughly Recommend! 👍

Just popped in for lunch... There was a lovely Beer Garden, but as it was nice and cool inside we opted to eat indoors. Service was quick from attentive friendly staff, and my food was delicious. I noticed a 'Doggy Station' as we went up to pay, with bowls for their water and snacks, which is a nice touch. Will be back!

A great venue to have lunch/working lunch and to meet with friends. The venue always has plenty of space to park and is easily accessable. The food and drink is great and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Easy to use website to book a table. A very warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Excellent service at the bar. Excellent friendly service at the Carvery with the chef, with an added bonus of a friendly little chef singing. Wonderful! The food was excellent.

This is my favourite place to spend an hour or two the kids can play in the play area, while me and my husband can have a relaxing drink.

We had a go night until I had an accident at home where the staff who are now friends helped me and my husband get me to the hospital when I had split my head open thank you to Rob, matty, lauren and Arran thank you again. We always enjoy ourselves and the food

We had not been to the six medals for a few years, hoping for the nice carvery we remembered. Sadly carvery only on at weekend. However the a la carte menu had an excellent range of meals. Food was very good. We plan to return very soon. Called back for second visit with baguette s and burger. Just as good, back for a third next week

The food never fails, relaxed atmosphere and kid friendly. Very clean and tidy, the staff are welcoming and very professional.

Nice place, staff working very hard as always. Food was nice too except the cabbage wasn't cooked, and very much looked raw, and the cauliflower cheese was so hard it needed a hammer and chisel not a knife and fork

We decided to come and have Sunday dinner 4 adults. Three had carvery and one had burger. We enjoyed meal it was hot and tasty and portion was big enough for us.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is good and has a family friendly atmosphere. A great place to have a meal if near Middlesbrough Town centre.
