I have had baratric bypass and wondered if i could order off kids menu Arran was so so helpful made me feel like it wasnt a problem at all fantastic service

Had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to Zak, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Definitely coming back

Came today with family for some food, all I fan say is the food was perfectly cooked to standards big props to the chefs. During the visit we were pleasantly served by zak- staff member who made us all leave with a smile,making our day better. Will definitely be coming back soon🙌🏻

Had the fish and chips the fish was really crispy thanks to matty the chef also had the catsu curry sauce aswell Throughly enjoyed it

Very disappointed, carvery was cold, left me feeling unwell, wasn't only customer to complain about it.

George was excellent, very polite and professional

Great food, despite being busy Ruby found us a table. Staff were fantastic and remained professional despite a group of abusive customers vaping and verbally attacking staff.

Staff were polite and really helpful. George was the server and dealt with any queries asked of him and was very considerate

Further visit 05.04.25 Didn't have the meal that I asked for so ended up going with the macaroni cheese which was tasteless and I'm not quite sure what the reason for bbq sauce to be added as a 'drizzle' over the top was for, it is not needed and it's not very pleasant. Would I have it again....absolutely not. On a positive note my mum enjoyed the steak and ale pie. ********************************************* Updated review 18.05.24 Gave the benefit of the doubt and decided to try again and give a second visit - much improved this time around. Scampi was good. The only issue this time was parking as some sort of event was on and the car park was cordoned off to accommodate this so we had to park a bit away which wasnt ideal for my mum as the arthritis in her legs makes it difficult for her to walk too far. Barring that a much better experience here than our last visit 👍 ****************************************************************************************** I so wanted the give this place a good food review but alas today I could not. We ordered the philly steak and the peri peri chicken baguettes....the peri peri filling lacked any real taste despite having the one 🌶 image on the menu and the chicken was a bit grey, needless to say I picked a fair bit of it out 😕 the steak was apparently okay but could have been sliced a little thinner and the baguettes were quite dry as the filling was lacking at both ends of the baguettes. Credit to the manager who was chatty and friendly, lovely, cozy decor, good atmosphere with a nice looking garden area with lots of outdoor seating available, masses of parking spaces. Shame about the food but saying that I'd go back to give a different dish a try - hopefully this was a one off bad food day.

It was OK for a busy Sunday afternoon. Had children with us but no menus for them when we were shown to our table.

Evening is a great event, competent staff, quick service and a super friendly experience. Day time staff are either ill trained or just out of their depth.

I went to The Six Medals, and it was a solid experience! The vibe was cozy, and the staff were amazing, and so friendly. I had a burger that was really good, and they had a nice selection of drinks. Overall, a good spot to chill with friends! Would recommend!

Went for lunch with family for son’s birthday nose afternoon

Staff nice and friendly especially keris and leanne. Kids enjoyed food and playing outside in the playground.

Suprisingly busy pub really as it is in an odd area next to the football ground. I'm sure it's mayhem on match day, but on a standard afternoon it is a lovely experience, I visit fairly regular on trips to the college. Staff are really friendly too, and drinks prices aren't outrageous. Would recommend a visit for food or drink if you're passing. Oh, beer garden is great as well on a sunny day.

Overall good experience but a couple of issues need to sorted 1, manager on he bar on his own with ques both sides needs to two on the bar at all times, with food and drink order's common manager needs to stop trying to do it all on his own and delegate jobs. 2, Food was coming out slow and we added a extra portion of beans after the food had come as we had forgotten this still no beans 30 minutes later had to cancel the beans off the tab. Samed to short staffed on a busy afternoon on a Saturday no good. There where glasses and plates still on tables when we arrived and still there when we left again where was the staff. Overall 4 is ok but manager's can't do everything and you need staff to run smoothly. We enjoy the pub but standards have dropped hence the lose of a star. Hope it will improve for next time.

We were greeted by Neil who was very cheerful, welcoming and friendly. He was very engaging throughout our visit. We were also engaged by Leanne as we ordered food & drinks with Neil. Both Neil & Leanne remained attentive & engaging throughout our visit. The food was delicious, prepared by Chef Matty. I’ve worked as a Supermarket General Store Manager for one of the big 5 for many years so I understand what good service looks & feels like. Both Neil & Leanne were exemplary! Excellent service from staff, especially Lou from the catering team. She is always so cheerful, and happy to go the extra mile. Manager is always informative and friendly, as I need a Gluten Free diet. Food is excellent. Good team all round.

I am there a lot, and one of the main reasons, is because the service you receive is brilliant. You have the kitchen staff, who offer brilliant food, the bar staff that excel in there service they give, and Neil the manager that loves to joke about the football. keep up the excellent service everyone

Asked for scampi and chips on lunchtime menu,with a flat white and some brown bread--was charged £17.18 when I asked why so high told I had more scampi than advertised-wasn't impressed

What a lovely night we had in the 6 medal's,food was excellent and the service from Arron who made you so welcoming,and the barmaid ruby was very talkative and welcoming, well done 6 medals will recommend this pub to my friends and family.

This is a lovely pub, came here yesterday with my son and friend. The staff were very polite and attentive. When we went to the bar, the lady who took our drinks and food order was really nice, she explained that it was her first few hours working there and asked us to just bare with her whilst she learnt the till, which was professional of her to let us know and she actually wizzed through it with no problems. Everything came as we asked, lovely food and it was nice to see the staff were really good with my son - Definitely returning!!

Went here for lunch couldn’t believe how much the prices have shot up ,I know that minimum wages is SOON going up but 25% rise from £12 to £14:99 for fish and chips is taking a lend of customers loyalty, all other menu prices have gone up also. Needless to say won’t be going back

Staff extremely rude and abrupt, food was absolutely shocking. The potion sizes were shocking, looked like it had just been caught off the field, and the salad wasn't even worth putting on the plate.

Great experience at The Six Medals. The food was good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Special mention to Rob and Luke from the kitchen, who were not only pleasant but clearly take pride in their work. Will definitely be back.

Called in by chance as passing , not from this area and 9 of us needing Sunday lunch. Arran was so helpful in accommodating our large group, putting tables together and making us feel very welcome.

Modern carvery style pub, with a definite hotel reception vibe going on. Several groups or families having meals or just meeting up and then going on to other venues. The staff were friendly and efficient, offering suggestions on dining options and seating arrangements. All in all not a bad experience.

We came for our work Christmas meal and just ordered off the normal menu, we all really enjoyed our food and some of us even stayed until 7/8 as the atmosphere was really chilled and enjoyable. The staff were amazing. We will defiantly be coming back thank you.

Order 2 festive burgers at£28 still waiting 45 min later cancelled order and left ridiculously time to wait for a burger. Staff weren’t bothered wouldn’t like to think how long for a mixed grill

Atmosphere was lively, we had Xmas Fayre meal which was well organised and delicious, staff were very pleasant and helpful

Really disappointed with our visit tonight. Food wasn't very warm, steak certainly wasn't sirloin and not cooked to how we wanted it. Service was terrible, dirty plates left after each course, had to ask for them to be taken away.

Liked it we are coming back for Christmas dinner
