Mink in Middlesbrough

Hemos ido con unxs compás de trabajo. Y una camarera ha denunciado a un amigo sin razón, le hemos tratado de explicar mas de una vez que estaba equivocada pero aún así ha sostenido su postura. Hemos echo las denuncias correspondientes . Favor de no ir a este lugar . Gracias

Great party in the upstairs bar. Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves. Bar staff friendly and no problems from the bouncers at all. We provided our own food "pizzas" which went down well. The music was a bit loud for my taste but the young ones amongst us seemed to like it, and the not so young. As far as I could tell the bar prices were reasonable

Can I start by saying that the staff really were brilliant.nothing was too much trouble for them and they were friendly during and leading up to the party... The function room itself is a good size and ideally set out for parties and the choice of drinks on offer seemed to tailor to old and young alike... I would recommend mink bar to anyone looking for a chilled out relaxed venue for a party or even for a couple drinks on a weekend... P.S I've read a review below slating the door staff,can I just say that we had zero issues all night and nobody had any trouble getting in and door staff remained professional and polite throughout..,

Really nice, comfortable, laid back, venue. Staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Totally recommend this bar for your parties etc.

The bouncers were way to extreme in their actions and both myself and my friends felt like we were CONSTANTLY under surveillance. People were getting kicked out for the most ridiculous reasons and the group was completely victimised. At one point some uninvited older men proceeded to come upstairs into the private function and offered a few members of the party cocaine, but this went completely unnoticed by the bouncers, resulting in one of the girls having to go to A and E after being spiked. They simply abandoned their real duties to pick on members of the party who were just minding their own business, attempting to have a good night. One member of the party was also kicked out after being suspected of underage drinking , even though their was no evidence of this. She was made to wait outside alone in the rain for a taxi. It's understandable that security was strict due to it being their job but some of their actions were completely unnecessary and unfair. No one could relax and it was a real shame considering how nice the bar itself was.

Excellent cool place to visit with a vast array of spirits to have a go at. Loads of different beers and there is a cool vibe to the place. Staff were excellent and really friendly. We stayed too long but that's so easy to do here. It's just a nice place to be....

Really nice bar. Brilliant if you are looking for something a bit different. Waltzers for seats etc. Wacky and wonderful decor, good selection of drinks and friendly staff. One of our favourite places to go

Really nice bar, very different in a good way on the inside than I was expecting, kind of a retro style look to it, alongside the American taste. The staff are polite and friendly. Was shocked to see the selection of drinks they have on sale. Met some really nice local people too. If you do pop by, don't be fooled by the size of it from the outside, it's bigger than it looks!

One of the best bars in Teesside if you're after something a bit different. DJ's mixing funk/jazz and 80's synth classics every weekend with the occasional Northern Soul nights to boot make this a place to be seen. Excellent German ales on tap alongside a wide selection of weird and wonderful spirits- watch out for the Mezcal! Every time I've been in there's a private function on upstairs and it usually adds to the atmosphere. Definitely has some of the more 'Inventive' decor that I've ever seen, especially for Middlesbrough. Where else can you slurp up a cocktail sat inside a Waltzer! Door staff are down to earth and welcoming too which is a plus, no bomber jackets and stern faces like some of the gaffs.

I attended an event here for TFM Radio, and was surprised at just how nice this small bar is. Definitely recommend it if out in Boro. Service was fast and attentive, great range of drinks, especially premium Vodkas. They have a homely VIP section which can be booked and a separate bar area upstairs as well. Clean toilets, easy to get in and out of, even if you have to go over the top via the stairs. Enjoyed the night out there, and may well come back soon.

This bar is brilliant if you just want a relaxing drink and somewhere to chill. They do a really tasty hot chocolate too and myself and friends enjoy going here. I haven't yet been to Mink on a night out but I've been recommended by friends so I will be soon! It's definitely got a quirky edge to it and is great if you want somewhere different.

I love this place, as it's a bit different, has good music and the waltzer seats are really fun! It's equally good as a lunch-time hangout for coffee or a late night bar for drinks, especially when there's a band on.

This bar offers coffee, alcohol and tattoos, a very unique combination. We went on rock night, where there was a live hard rock band. The music was good but wasn't really my cup of tea. The downside is that it is very small and cramped.

When i first heard of this coffee/tattoo infusion i was very excited to visit, and i must admit i was not disappointed. They have a great little establishment and the decor is nothing short of beautiful, they have plenty of seating (either benches, tables or a waltzer) and the atmosphere in there is very relaxed and chilled out. I have been a regular visitor here for over a year, originally the coffee was served well, and they have an unbelievable amount to choose from (the banana mocha being my favorite), the food is nice and just what you expect from a place such as this, with a selection of toasties and nachos etc. However i have noticed a marked drop in the quality and atmosphere as of late, numerous times i have visited and the bar tender was unsure on how to make coffee (having been left in alone - to which he was very apologetic for and can not be blamed for his lack of training), lately they also seem to be promoting electronic cigarettes and the owner can often be seen puffing away on one of these and walking between bar and seating areas, not a great look in my opinion. Over-all i would say Mink is a lovely venue and does good coffee (when the staff have been trained) but i believe the standards have been dropping lately, which is a shame because you'll be hard pressed to find a more delectable venue.

Brilliant relaxed atmosphere to have a coffee and watch a bit of Tattooing or even get one.Great tattooing by Glen will be back for more in the near future

Mink cafe / wine bar / tattoo parlour is the hippest joint in town, if you want a fantastic latte or a glass of wine, a tattoo or piercing! After a days shopping, MINK is the place to be. At night they showcase the best in local musical talent , they have theme nights and are clean, comfortable and have a retro style. Staff are so friendly and helpful it's Middlesbrough best kept secret. Well worth a visit!
