Left my 2 chargers in bedroom, were duly posted to my home. Thank you. Clean hotel, very welcoming front-of- house and housekeeping staff. Would return. Polite and helpful personnel. Close to cashpoint and supermarket. Quiet bedroom. Overall very good experience and great value.

The Bluebell is a fantastic spot with great drinks. There's nothing quite like sipping a pint of Peroni in the beer garden on a sunny day. One potential improvement could be to explore the idea of putting up some hedging to block the view of the roundabout and cars, as it can disrupt the atmosphere in the beer garden. As for the food, it's your standard pub grub, but the small plate deals offer good value. Overall, it's a lovely place to enjoy a pint!

Myself husband and daughter came in today for drinks and a carvery the food was delicious. The mash was lovely and creamy and the meat so tender we were served on the carvery by Emma and at the bar by Amiee both lovely chatty ladies. The bluebell is a gorgeous pub the new managers and all the staff are lovely all down to earth and make this pub a better place to be. If you haven’t tried it then you need too you won’t be disappointed! We will be back soon

Really stupid ignorant staff who cant / won’t listen and have a real stroppy attitude especially the bar manager , will not be going back especially after they got pulled for hygiene in the kitchen

Been here a few times as its local always have a great time staff and regulars always friendly definitely be back there's a great variety of drinks and a brilliant atmosphere

A really good hotel which is having a total revamp. Hotel looks a bit tired now but can’t wait to come back as I am sure it will be the place to stay in Middlesbrough. Staff lovely especially Rachel and Kaia. Clean. The bed and bedding etc was immaculate thanks to Deborah for that one. And got to add the Scottish fine soups in the bathroom absolutely loved going to order some for home. Well done to your team and good luck with the revamped premises x

One of the best places to watch football in Middlesbrough. The pints are spot on as well. The management is well approachable if anything is needed.

Went to the bluebell tonight and I was surprised at how much it’s changed had the best night in a long while. Andy Rachel Jo all new management were unreal this pub has never been so good served by Tegan and Ella gorgeous girls very chatty made me feel so welcome ste and Emma with there gorgeous food. This is my local I come here all the time but the difference Iv noticed tonight is off the scale thanks guys your smashing it and I’d 100% recommend you summer can’t come fast enough for me beer garden weather at the ready

We came in for some drinks last night and the service couldn’t have been better, the girl who served us was called Tegan and we couldn't have asked for more with the service she gave us she was constantly smiling and was very chatty. We also decided to get some of the small plates that were on a deal and congrats to the chef Ste as the food was delicious ! And with 2-4-1 cocktails on offer we couldn’t have had a better experience. Will definitely be back next weekend to see the live singer.

Fish & chips were spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed them. 10/10 to Chef Ste. We were served by Kirsty who’s lovely. She always has a chat with us and makes us feel so welcome. We visit once a month and she always has a smile and remembers who we are. Makes my Dad feel so special. Thank you

Been a regular for a number of years but recently went down hill well visited again this week totally different place - staff happy fridge stocked plates taken away quickly great vibe music and sport clean great environment like it used to be keep it up blue bell staff and Kirsty rathbone we will keep coming back 😀

Great pub, great food, all staff very Friendly & welcoming especially Tegan, Kirsty & Ellie & Morgan and lady in kitchen/chef. Was also there Xmas day for lunch after bad reviews there was nothing at all to complain about. Food was delicious

Kirsty front of house was lovely. She was very attentive to our special needs kids we had with us. Three mums with three children. She even put the kids channel on for the kids in the area we sat in. Food was lovely also.

We called in on Saturday morning for a breakfast and it was great! A set price and then help yourself to what you want? Sounds perfect. A great little idea, and a bit different from the norm.

Visited as I knew they had vegetarian / vegan options. Couldn't find a kids menu snd staff seemed too busy to approach so I set about ordering a vegetarian burger for my daughter "we dont do a kids vegetarian / vegan burger". The astute barman asked a colleve about a kids version to be told "we don't do 'em" so I said an adult one wouldbe fine. "Just a plain burger in a bun tho please, as my daughter doesn't like the extra toppings".... Then, out comes my daughter's burger with vegan plastic orange cheez slices (swiftly scraped off) and the we hit some odd kind of dressing/sauce that was smothered over the bun bottom. Thankfully, after pointing out to a server that we'd asked for a plain burger they swiftly popped her burger into a plain bun. Overall it just seemed like poor communication. If they did a veggie burger why not offer a fantastic kids version, surely it'd be dead easy to add to the menu.

Good beer good food nice easy atmosphere but you have to pay to park ok you get your money back it's just a bit of a chew on

We had a lovely meal today at lunch time the staff were excellent especially Kirsty who cooked and served our food. The quality and price were very good. Will recommend.

Food was almost inedible, didn't have 2 different wines or the prosecco and the prosecco they did have was warm.

his it’s the nightmare hotel, it’s a old hotel e old furniture, however that’s not a problem for me, but when you have a bedroom with hair on the toilet e bed and dry toothpaste on the basin it became worrying. Complain about it and was give to me another room, as I was tired and no more rooms available in the area I decided to sleep on top of my bed with my clothes on. Breakfast the most poor and horrible thing I’ve ever had. When I got back home realised that I left behind my toiletry bag, with my perfume, creams and other things ( the bag was Tommy Hiltiger and a Versace perfume total cost over £100) I called and was confirmed that was there and told to me that it would be send to the address that I provided. After 3 weeks nothing come, and I was in Middlesbrough again, went there personally and they couldn’t find it, the guy there took my contact again and my address and told that he would speak with housekeeping to see where it was. 2 weeks pass and still no sign of it or any news. DONT STAY HERE, ITS NOT CLEAN AND THE STAFF ITS DODGY. Note the management: I will post this review in all the web sites where your name will show.

Its has nice variation of seating areas, standard pub meals, pleasant atmosphere, televions with sport on and outside drinking area for the summer plenty of car park space. Parking meter for car park refundable voucher at bar.

Great place to meet for a pint after work (especially on a friday) to get into the mood for the weekend. Food isn't bad either with a good choice for a fair price

Used to live in m'bro, still have a lot of family here so have always used bluebell to stay while here, usually clean friendly and comfy, this time however, found the hotel room quite dirty, with stains on furniture and questionable cleanliness in the bathroom, we paid for breakfast each day of our 4 day stay, but were told on Monday morning, there is no chef, the manager on duty on Monday morning couldn't bring himself to say good morning to us never mind tuck his shirt in or smile, so sad that such a lovely place is being allowed to go to seed.

There was 9 of us there today for Sunday dinner. It was really nice and the service was good. It was our first time and would definitely return again.

My husband a friend & my self have just been for Sunday lunch at the blue bell, £8.99 cavery, absolutely gorgeous, meat lovely, good choice of veg all fresh, worth every penny, we will definitely be going back there.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Booked a party. Absolutely no flexibility, no help with arrangements, couldn't even get a reply on adding extras to the buffet. The only good thing about them is they cancelled the booking without a hitch

Decided to have an overnight stay here on our way up north. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Decent priced drinks. Connor who helped check us in and then was on the bar was welcoming and able to answer our questions about the local area. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and the chef couldn’t have been more helpful. Definitely a lovely place for a night away.

Had a very good meal here yesterday . The offer with a free drink was very good value as were the children's meals which were good quality and excellent value. Was quite busy but fortunately we had booked a table . Good friendly waitress. Paid to park in large carpark but money was refunded on first order.

Tesco garage is fab the staff are lovely.

We stayed Monday and Tuesday 22nd 23rd November the room was a 5 Dirty around the bed Dirty glasses lipstick all over them The bath was unclean'd No bath towels when we asked for them they give us one even though we are in a double room with 2 people no tee bags no milk no Sugar and the noise from the fire door in the hall unbelievably every time someone went through it all night the last time was 3am would I stay here again never sorry

The hotel part is a bit dated but very clean and comfy the pub section is great local and friendly ten minutes into the town center / hospital etc we enjoy our stays there 8/10

Really nice pub food is good and good service

We visited in between appointments for lunch as we understood they had vegan food on the menu. As it was Monday and not too busy the chef came out to clarify what was vegan and what was vegi and she was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed lovely vegan pie. Then noticed if we had have had a more expensive drink we could have saved £4 as it would have classed as a meal deal. When I pointed this out at the bar, it was apparently tough luck that I hadn't spotted this. I know saving have been pointed out at other establishments, I'm less likely to go back when it is not.

Fantastic service from the team at the bluebell, food lovely and a great pint of cask, well done all.

Don’t know what people are talking about Sunday carvery and food here are outstanding deserts to finish your meal off a great selection of cask ales beers lagers shots and spirits and all your sports on a very family orientated pub with an amazing atmosphere caters for all needs including music events and a great hotel also finished off by the best management and staff team to attend to your every need don’t believe my review try it for yourselves you won’t be disappointed I promise

Walked into reception and there was nobody around only walking into a separate bar area of the building and asking for help did someone appear she was the 'Hotel manager' with the worst attitude I've ever witnessed rude abrupt and didn't warn me of no TV service In the room which was as beyond there reach but still would have been nice to have been told I left half way through the night because when I spulled back the duvet the bed it had yellow and orange stains everywhere in and the bath was blocked with hair and god knows what else but it wasn't draining away I went down to complain and was told the manager wasn't in until the morning but no refund would be given as I was given a bed for the night if this hotel was free I seriously wouldn't stay there ever again and anyone who stays here needs to to have such low standards to give any.kind if good rating BTW I'm used to staying in in low end hotels for my.job and I am not accustomed to luxury but cleanliness I expect everywhere and this hotel was disgusting try anywhere around here but avoid this at all costs even if its free

Good prices but not the best food, seemed to be microwaved rather than prepared by a chef.

Decent and clean accommodation at the budget end of the market. Very good value breakfast offer which is cooked fresh for you. Staff are considerate, friendly and helpful. The pub can be busy but,after hours, the area is surprisingly quiet. A good option to consider in this area.

Not stayed over but been for food a few times it’s always nice and Sean always makes the little one feel special, always have plenty going on in the back room on a weekend, it’s a great place to start your weekend out
