Small but perfectly formed. Basic food but done well and with love. I went when they were rushed off their feet and there was a shortage of tables - which was a shame because the biggest table was booked for a group that never arrived. Perhaps best to do walk-ins only. But I loved the welcome and the friendliness - it was like home from home. Portions were good too!

The cafe is tiny but service is excellent and the breakfasts excellent. If they have space it is well worth popping in.

After spending over 4 hours on the road, travelling to Wotton Under Edge, we arrived at the local auction house at 9am, collected very heavy items and proceeded to find a cafe in the town centre.

We visited this restaurant and ordered jacket potatoes for our lunch. What a surprise, the potato was crammed full of prawns and was covered with Marie Rose sauce. This was the best filled jacket that I have ever had. My wife also had a Tuna and Mayo which was delicious. A friendly, cosy restaurant with wonderful service. Will continue to visit this Gem when we are in the area again.

Only room for about a dozen people but well worth a visit. Great full English breakfast with a nice pot of tea and a great simple menu too. Waitress/cook very helpful. On the Cotswold Way too so would be an ideal place to stop for brunch or lunch. Highly recommended but not too good for close parking.

I went in here with my friend a couple of weeks ago. I loved the small room everyone was in and i was greeted by a really friendly lady. She took our order and blimey, the portion sizes are big! I couldn't manage it all. One thing was the scrambled egg on toast that I had became a little sickly as there was so much egg. Was lovely all the same though.

I visited the tearoom recently with my sister in law who was visiting. I've walked past a few times and always thought how inviting and quaint it looks but not had time to stop. We had a pot of tea with scone jam and cream. It was deliciously fresh and the lady that owns the tearoom was welcoming and chatty. Everything is prepared freshly and I can't wait to return!

Perfect breakfast of the highest produce quality. One of us is vegetarian and this was accommodated wonderfully with an alternative 'all english' breakfast. The other was a traditional english breakfast. The taste was sublime and the local produce used is extremely tasty. The environment was welcoming and calm. Will certainly return.

I popped into this little place by chance whilst driving through Wotton under Edge. I've never been before. You can easily miss this place as it's small and you can walk by in a flash. There are other cafe's nearby, but for me this looked the most inviting place. As soon as I walked in I could tell how cosy and well looked after the place was. The charming owner was attentive and clearly popular with locals who were popping in to say hello. She made the perfect cup of coffee and her lemon cake was to die for. Had a lovely chat and she had a great sense of humour too. These little places can't be easy to keep going, especially with much bigger competition close by. However, the town has a little gem of a place here and hopefully locals will support it.

A small Coffee Shop come Restaurant come Tea Room it may be but if you enjoy good personal service and well made food, then give this a try (you won't be disappointed). If its for breakfast, light lunch or afternoon tea, go ahead all is good. If you like cake, then the Home made cakes are for you.

Delighted to have discovered this cute little coffee shop which is a true little gem! I popped in for lunch with my friend and we had a lovely afternoon. The ladies working there were so friendly and lovely, they were all related and this family run atmosphere really comes across! My friend and I both had a sandwich and then shared a piece of cake which was delicious. The cakes were homemade and the sandwich was a doorstop wonder!! One of the best I have ever had, so fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you very much ladies!

We had already walked out of a café opposite The Singing Teapot that was noisy, expensive and didn't have anything we fancied on the menu, walked across the road and found this little gem!Lovely friendly ladies, good coffee and the most generous cheese and onion toastie we have ever had, served with a good salad with separate bowl of dressing and all at a very reasonable price. We recommended it to four walkers that were debating where to eat and later saw them seated at the window table - hope they enjoyed it as much as we did!

Haven't been to Wotton for years and loved this tea room when visiting a friend this week. Nice atmosphere with charismatic host made it for me. Food (jacket pot) was good and a decent cup of coffee (better than a high street chain). If you can book then do, we were there quite early so no issue for lunch but I could see there being issues with space during rush hours. I didn't have any cake but looked amazing so I'll be having some next time!

We needed a simple lunch and wandered into the Singing Teapot at the top of main street in Wotton. We enjoyed a home-made onion and cheese tarte with plentiful fresh salad, prepared and served by very friendly staff. Very good value at around £5. The tea rooms are small with perhaps just 4 tables but a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Always on holiday ! Jocks, livin’ da life, always away cycling and jus’ chillin’. Moaning how hot it is on the continent and that the winter fuel allowance won’t cover the air con in the van. Doors open on this fine Sunday but no lemon drizzly drizzle, took one fine English SIS caffeine jel in return for a flat white. He’s lucky I accepted his heart in return for sitting in the wheels all the way round.

We had a very nice cup of tea, china cup and saucer, pot of tea with a pot of hot water. The toasted tea cakes are a good size, served hot with butter. It's a really lovely coffee shop, with a few items to buy including cards. There is a corner for toddlers to play too. The staff were lovely and really informative on local knowledge.

On arrival we found a large car park with plenty of spaces. Entrance through the door at the front into bar area. People sat eating by the door and it must’ve been annoying for them with everyone coming in and draughty. We arrived just before one. Ordered drinks at the bar and lunches. Sunday lunch was good sized portion. Beef a little on the chewy side. Vegetables good choice. Not a fan of the cabbage and cauliflower cheese bit bland. Needed cheese toasting on top. Saw someone eating pigs in blankets and they looked great. Desserts a bit on the expensive side. We all left feeling quite full. I would say that the service charge really annoyed me as it’s a pub that not a high end restaurant and I would’ve left a tip of my choice not what the pub decides. We’ve given this place a 4 but I think it’s more a 3.5/5 7/10. Friendly staff and they welcome dogs. The ones in there today were very well behaved
