We had a very nice cup of tea, china cup and saucer, pot of tea with a pot of hot water. The toasted tea cakes are a good size, served hot with butter. It's a really lovely coffee shop, with a few items to buy including cards. There is a corner for toddlers to play too. The staff were lovely and really informative on local knowledge.

I would recommend this for a great coffee and cake stop! We were surprised to find this place after a walk on the Cotswold way. It's a small cafe with a great selection of drinks and cakes and very reasonably priced. Our son (18 months ) loved the little play area, such a lovely idea for young children. Thank you.

The cafe is small and basic but very friendly and has a lovely children’s play area (toddler age). The coffee is out of a machine but was actually very good and inexpensive. There are lots of cakes and sweets etc on offer, for old and young !

Just the sort of cafe you are looking for. We had cake and drinks. They were lovely cakes and drinks. The two ladies serving were really sweet (thank you). Very good on Covid protocol. Totally relaxing experience. Hope this cafe is here for years to come. Well done all involved.

The Ark recently won a silver medal for its Fairtrade stance, and serves and sells a range of Tradecraft drinks and foods as well as home-made cakes and biscuits. It is unique in that there is a designated area for young children to play safely, allowing mums to relax over their coffee.

Always on holiday ! Jocks, livin’ da life, always away cycling and jus’ chillin’. Moaning how hot it is on the continent and that the winter fuel allowance won’t cover the air con in the van. Doors open on this fine Sunday but no lemon drizzly drizzle, took one fine English SIS caffeine jel in return for a flat white. He’s lucky I accepted his heart in return for sitting in the wheels all the way round.

On arrival we found a large car park with plenty of spaces. Entrance through the door at the front into bar area. People sat eating by the door and it must’ve been annoying for them with everyone coming in and draughty. We arrived just before one. Ordered drinks at the bar and lunches. Sunday lunch was good sized portion. Beef a little on the chewy side. Vegetables good choice. Not a fan of the cabbage and cauliflower cheese bit bland. Needed cheese toasting on top. Saw someone eating pigs in blankets and they looked great. Desserts a bit on the expensive side. We all left feeling quite full. I would say that the service charge really annoyed me as it’s a pub that not a high end restaurant and I would’ve left a tip of my choice not what the pub decides. We’ve given this place a 4 but I think it’s more a 3.5/5 7/10. Friendly staff and they welcome dogs. The ones in there today were very well behaved
