Completely dead, shame because it's a nice pub

says it’s open til 1am and ITS CLOSED

Closed at 12 on tuesday when it said it would open til 1am. currently sat outside silk mill disappointed. Really would appreciate honesty on the opening times. This used to be a hot spot with friends and I and this is extremely disheartening to see how Silk Mill has gone down hill.

Tad expensive but you don't care about the price when u have a night out good music pretty busy!

Was a joy to watch the Formula 1 there!

Favourite pub in Nuneaton to go to! The staff there are lovely and will have a chat with you and make you feel welcomed. It's a great place to watch sporting events as there are countless TVs and a big screen, the pints are also very cheap. Choice of pool tables and darts as well as Bingo on a Tuesday and DJs on Friday and Saturday. Definitely the number one spot to go on the weekend, the place is always busy, must visit!

Awful, booked a table for the football as we have in the past. Table was next to far post in front of the bar. Couldn't see the big telly nor any other. Given permission by bar staff to move tables, benefitting the two other tables that couldn't see. Told before kick off that we had to vacate our table as Ciara the deputy manager wanted to sit there. We moved reluctantly as surely the experience of the customer always comes first. Ciara arrived and said our table was too near hers. My husband said we don't need to move it as we stand to watch football anyway. She reacted like a child, said she wasn't putting up with this, and had us both removed by the bouncers. Everyone around us was shocked and disgusted. We left without any fuss. Embarrassed for the young woman to be honest, showing off in front of her friends. We have now cancelled our upcoming bookings for 6 people. The young lady concerned should not be working in hospitality, and management? Really?

This is a fairly cheap but extremely spacious place with a decent amount to do. There is infamously a television (or 5, mostly) everywhere you look; and there are many comfortable booths that you can slip into on a quiet day. Bartenders are generally nice also. Having had grub here a few times before, I can definitively say it's often not of decent quality. We have had to send food back before and you can very easily tell that everything here is using a microwave - often cold on the sides and molten in the middle. However, the variety of drinks is somewhat redeeming. There are 2 pool tables - both of... below average quality (spills on the cloth and lean too) and it's Ben known for there to be not enough cues and there is rarely chalk available. Darts board is of average quality however. [Side note, the pool table photo was from a few months ago when the cloth was recently replaced.) - Edit: Downgraded to 2 stars. The floor was sticky on multiple occasions recently. And tables don't seem to be properly cleaned. Booths are in a dire state also.

Me and my partner went into the silk mill nuneaton for a few drinks and food, great atmosphere friendly staff one that stood out was a young lady called Chiara she made us feel really warm and she was very welcoming,I've recommended the silk mill to our family and friends and we will be returning very soon.

Staff was so friendly so I feel awful writing this but barely anything available to vegans, when I did order a vegan meal the peas tasted frozen. My family ordered chips and there was barely any in the bowl. Not to mention my cousin had around 10 next to her wrap. Such a shame as the old menu/food was lovely but very disappointing today.

Friendly atmosphere, good place for young families. Didn't eat here, but food we saw looked well presented and plentiful.

Visited over Xmas holidays for a few drinks. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Shared some chips between us first bowl wasn’t great but they were quickly replaced and we’re very nice. Big screens for the spots fans. Recommend

Had drinks here with work. Very lovely service, and good choices for booze, but they didn't turn on the music until about 9 PM.

What can I say about this place, although I'm local to the Borough I haven't been here for a long time and all I can say is Wow, great service from the guys and girls behind the bar,especially Mark who was so helpful to me and was very meticulous going through the menu's when he didnt need to be, all in all a great place to wet the whistle and I had a breakfast here earlier on in the day and the food was fantastic, great value for money,friendly staff, good environment so its a good 9 out of 10 for me, a must visit place in Nuneaton.

Well I have to say I tried this place again tonight and to my dismay they have gotten rid of the best bar staff they had dwaine always knew what I wanted and offered alternatives if my drink wasn't available kelsie was exceptionally good though so was Cory just a shame they can't keep professional staff

My service was absolutely wonderful I was served by a small, dark haired female, and I have to admit and reading the reviews I was hesitant to order the food but that was good as well. So Kudos to the chef/s. Now after such a positive experience you may wonder why a one star. You see before we were leaving a big ginger man had started behind the bar and he proceeded to yell at the wonderful server. Now whether or not she may have done something wrong (I can’t comment) but to do it in front of customers is out of order. If this is how you treat staff I shall never return to this site or the brand as clearly this is how your managers are trained. The poor girl looked like she wanted to break down there and then. And tbh I don’t blame her she has a lot more strength than me

Bar Service is So Slow. Staff choose to serve people they know quicker and alow people to jump the queue. When Events are on they put the drinks Up which frankly is ridiculous. Good Venue though for Sport. Food is Iffy. Menu looks Amazing but the reality is quite poor.

Some of the staff are brilliant it's just a shame about the so called team leaders always leaving the barstaff to struggle so they can go smoke or just stand around talking to their friends

We received a very warm welcome this Saturday lunchtime. Even our well behaved Dog was welcomed and given a bowl of water and two dog treats. Much better than than the competitor who wouldn't even allow a Dog to sit in the outdoor area.

Great food and friendly staff. Best place to go by far especially if you’re with family. Lovely venue and lots of events on different days of the week.

Went in for some food with my friend I had the chicken and bacon salad and my friend had the gammon both was very tasty and great portion sizes. Was served by Dwayne who was lovely and couldn’t do enough to help, we decided to stay for a few drink afterwards and met Andy who had us laughing great staff great food will be back soon Thank you

Have to pay £10 deposit for pool cues which are rubbish, the pool tables are in a bad condition. It cost £1.50 a game ,no chalk either.

The food here may be awesome but I never got to find out. The first issue was that the food on the app ordering service was significantly higher priced than on the table menus. I'd chosen to order the scampi, which is priced at £7.99 on the menu, but when I went to order it on the app, it came up at £9.39! So I went to the bar to order and it came up on the server's till as £9.49 - and this is where it got farcical... I inquired about the price discrepancy but she didn't know the reason. Her colleague then said that the table menus are out of date. And a third member of staff then popped up and said that it was academic anyway, as the freezers had broken down, so scampi and chips - along with numerous other items on the menu - weren't available anyway! So I decided to settle for just a drink, a Diet Coke, only to be told that that machine had broken down too! So I decided to just leave it and left. All three members of staff were very friendly and polite, to be fair, and we all saw the funny side of the fiasco, but I'd be lying if I said I was in a rush to go back.

All day breakfast wasn't great, they don't do poached eggs, fried eggs over cooked, yolks dry, they ran out of Heineken 0% beer I can only drink 0% due to health issues,

Lovely lively pub, age range 18-30

Decent pub slightly disappointed as we wanted to watch the big football game that was being played that day it was on but no sound.

This place has become my new favourite! It used to be somewhere we popped for a quick drink, but lately the atmosphere has become 10/10 :) Food is what you pay for, the events are wicked, but the service we received from Emily is the main reason we will be returning so often. I went to your pub in June with some friends and had seen the most shocking customer service to others and myself. I was waiting to be served at the bar with other customer waiting to be served when 2 young women was to busy chatting to each other and on there phones to start with. The customer in front of me shouted for service to which one of them said bloody wait. When she come over she said , " What you want with a shocking attitude?" No apologies. I believe her name was Emily. The other one who served me chikara. I believe her name was who stood in front of me and just look at me, I asked for my drinks had no apologies or interaction with her. I sat down with my group and was going to have food but had the two women from the bar was looking over at us talking and laughing which made me feel very uncomfortable so we left before we ordered food or any other drinks. The atmosphere was not pleasant in there and the the women behind the bar was so rude and witnessed them doing same thing to all customer going to the bar, you can certainly see why most left after 1 drink, which is a shame as the food is really nice in there. But seemed to me that they was more intreasted in talking and being on there phones then giving good customer service, working in customer service industry myself I know how important it is to keep customer but I'm sorry to say with people like that, they will not help your business.

Came here for the official Nuneaton pride after party and it was absolutely amazing - best night out I’ve had in a while! drinks are reasonably priced and entry is free even on a Saturday night where they’re open til 3AM!

Decent venue, this place has been though several rebrands, a single cask ale at the time of my visit, large interior, the huge screen features TV sport.

Great visit recently at the Silk Mill - Chiara was so attentive, atmosphere was incredible. Will definitely be back down soon.

Great selection of sports always available to watch! Now open till 3am on Saturdays so you can stay all night with their sick DJ. Food & drink spot on, good value & staff are friendly.

Great atmosphere here which has the loveliest most welcoming of staff to be greeted on walking up to the bar who are very caring to name a few Pete, Chiara, Dana, Shauna, Lydia, Jess, Cory, Dwayne and not leaving out how great the food is with plenty to choose from off the menu but if you’re as indecisive as me can always ask the friendly kitchen staff to tailor something to your tastebuds thank you to Callumn, Sammy, Mike and Charlotte for just doing that.

As an organisation we use this as a safe place,. The staff are fantastic. The food is awesome! Love it

The nachos were missing the guacamole and spring onion, and overall was below average compared to other pub nachos. The burgers we had were also quite disappointing, the chicken they use for the burgers taste like basic frozen patties and dripped out a lot of water when you bite into them. The BBQ Mac burger had hardly any Mac and cheese on it (literally a teaspoon worth) and was also missing the spring onion. Quick and friendly service, but literally whilst writing this review a fight broke out between what looked like some regulars inside. Definitely won't be coming here again. Edit: just to reply to the managers reply, I understand some situations are out of your control that's understandable. Nobody spoke to us after that happened, and the guys just broke it up themselves and carried on with whatever they were doing, so I'm unsure what you mean there.

I normally like this place but yesterday's visit to watch football was a grim experience. No running water in toilets to wash hands. No toilet roll in ladies toilets. The place was dirty with food and drink up walls. Can you legally open with no running water? It was also freezing cold with air con running on cold. Not good. Had to keep coats on. Please don't open if you can't get basics right. Thanks.
