Toilets spotless (big plus) Quiet and real nice food. First time there so didn't know how it worked. But overall fantastic.

I loooove their all you can eat breakfast!! Very good quality for the cost. The bread is the best too! It looks like simple sliced bread, but it tastes amazing. Highly recommend!

Very organised and busy, staff coping very well. Most of food very good for this type of catering outlet but please do something with the roast potatoes. They tasted dry, burnt and stale. They shouldn't be cooked and kept this long, the rest of the meats, acceptable, vegetables good. I'll come again. Excellent value too. Thanks all managers and staff.

Ordered two Sunday dinners with just eat both arrived stone cold both with the meat missing. Everything was dry and tasteless Also the carrot cake was so dry.. in the end it all went in the bin waste of £22

Ordered a delivery carvery, has 2 quarter slices of meat! When paid for 3 meats! No yorkshire puddings or pigs in blankets! When I paid extra for them! Food was hard and dry, never tasted a worse Sunday roast!

I’ve been here multiple times and always had a good time. This time I went though the food was lovely as per usual and waitresses were very helpful and friendly but when ordering desserts at the bar the bar staff were very rude. They rolled their eyes when I asked for a modification and had an attitude when I ordered a cheesecake they had run out of but I had not been told about. Disappointing service as the rest of the staff are lovely and always incredibly accommodating.

The staff were really helpful and kind. The restaurant was clean and well appointed, and easy for my husband who is a wheelchair user to navigate. Great disabled parking. The only negative for the food was the coleslaw wasn't very nice - hence the loss of 1 star. But Overall a lovely family lunch and would come again if we are in the area.

Ordered meals, charged for 5 meals rather than 4, plus order not complete. Had to return to the bar for drinks order to be completed. Portions very small, salad leaves were turning black. Salad should be more than wilted leaves and a few slithers of onion Definitely not the best dining experience. Would have to be paid to eat here again, would then think twice about it.

Greeted by Gemma ..she was warm, welcoming and full of smiles... I haven't been here for over 7 years as it had really gone downhill.. and just tried it again on a whim as I was passing... mid week afternoon.. I was really glad I did .. i had a carvery an the Food was top notch hot, plentiful and delicious... To the point I caught myself making noises of satisfaction after each bite.. so flavoursome and very moorish... I will definitely be back.. keep up the good work Middlemarch..see you very soon😁

It's not often we go for a carvery. In fact, we dont go out much So it's important that the food is excellent, the staff are helpful and friendly . MiddleMarch has never let us down. In fact, the carvey meat (4 to choose from or have all 4) never looks enough on my plate until i get back to the table and realise just how much I had. The kids also have options, a kids' menu or carvey. While they wait, there is an indoor kids area. You have the choice to sit and eat in that side of the pub or theres tables elsewhere away from the childrens section.

Just had a carvery . Whilst the food was nice and a good selection of veggies the chef was extremely tight when carving the meat . It looked like it had been cut with a razor blade . When we commented on this it made no difference, must be on a bonus. The drinks were fine the bar staff were nice but unfortunately the carving let it all down. We will probably go somewhere else in future.

Came with our friends and kids for a quick breakfast before heading for a day trip. Hayley our server was amazing. So accommodating and helpful she made it such a nice experience (which is a tall order when you're having breakfast with 3 under 5s!) Highly recommend.

We arrived 4 minutes before our booking and yet the table was not ready so we had to go and order drinks at the bar until it was ready, when booking we mentioned that two of the party was disabled so they decided to seat us in the middle of the room with no back support and up a small set of stairs, then we ordered through the app, they allowed an order to go through with a sirloin only then to be told that it was not available so we had to change it then go to the bar for a refund of the difference. then we waited 10 minutes for a chicken wing starter for one person then 50+ minutes for the rest of the food which only arrived after we asked how long it was going to be. Then the food arrived only lukewarm they offered to replace one of them as a priority which magically only took 5 minutes. tried to get a second drink for one person but was told I need to wait in a line of 15-20 people who are ordering food, so decided not to as the food would be even colder then it was already. Then a table that arrived 30 minutes after us was seated and there food arrived in 10 minutes and then the staff apologised to them for the wait. Absolute Joke. Needless to say never going back again, worst hospitality I have ever received in a Carvery.

Food ok. Venue, just sticky!!, sticky shabby tables, diry cutlery. Decor, drab, and shabby. It needs a real deep clean and a complete face-lift.

We had 3 carveries and a burger and all 4 meals were delicious. The service from all of the staff was also really good. We will definitely be returning!!!

The fish and chips were so good that I decided to let go of the fork and knife cause they were slowing me down it’s a must when you come here. Staff are extremely sweet and the atmosphere feels so homely and comfortable. I will be coming again

Good vegetarian options, good sized portions, not too long waiting time. Will definitely be going back. Their desserts are still amazing.

Turned up at 1050 and breakfast buffet finishes at 1100. So had to load up my plate. Lady at the bar very helpful and refilled my tea free after 1100

Great Carvery, in my humble opinion better than Toby's. Purely based on the carvery the beef was definetly a better cut and I preferred the roasties and veg too. Very reasonably priced and great portions. A lot of other options avaliable and cold beer on tap. Large, beautiful & classic looking place - recommended if traveling by.

Always feel welcomed and looked after by Ange and the team Hayley and Dan are always there at the front of house , they are very good at what they do and that's the cherry on the top. The food is comparable or in competition with our own roast dinner and tha speaks volumes, the variation of options are loads and financially its better for us to come here for roast dinner as only couple of us, the meat is so good too! Keep up the great work guys we always recommend and enjoy coming here for food and really the service as I say is the cherry on top.

Place is filthy and is in need of a refurb. Food is either over cooked or undercooked. Seating falling to bits with leather ripped ect... And very dirty and staff very slow.

A friend booked for 4 of us today for the carvery, I must say we were very disappointed. We thought we'd turned vegetarian by the lack of meat we received, the beef was inedible and apart from the parsnips everything else was mushy. We won't be rushing back anytime soon

Buffet breakfast was literally inedible.. black pudding was rock hard, sausages were Way over cooked and had a crunchy hard coating with a bone dry inner, bacon had hardly seen a frying pan, was pink and there was more fat on the bacon than actual meat, scrambled egg was a solid tasteless blamange, beans were stone cold, and the fried eggs were inedible dripping in oil, cutlery waa Filthy and had dried food residue on, by Far the worst breakfast experience I have Ever had. An Absolute waste of money and the standard of food was Absolutely Shocking. I ate 3 mouthfuls and left.. I genuinely hoped greene king would have made improvements but sadly nothing has changed. Majorly disappointed is an understatement..

A special mention to Gemma and Daniel who could not do enough for us, you were both so kind and funny and the service was 5 star, middlemarch farm you should be proud of these pair they deserve a bonus and recognition.

We have had a Sunday carvery here twice now, its ok nothing to rave about then had a cooked breakfast this morning before going to airport for holiday and what a disappointment, we left it after a couple of mouth fulls - cold and bacon looked uncooked/pink! Including the coffee, tepid warm. It was uneatable and undrinkable so we won’t be returning. Waste of £18 for two.

We don’t usually go here except for promos 😅 which I hope they do often. Anyways, the £12 for carvery and cake was really amazing, I enjoyed my meal and had to take the cake home as it was a huge slice and I don’t have space in my tummy 😂 We were served by Ciaran who’s really helpful and approachable. Overall, my dining experience was really good.

Middle march farm had been redo again more refresh and new staffs. So friendly and deaf awareness! Disabled friendly too! My favourite is dessert lol no dogs allowed sadly even for those who have dogs for the blind and deaf due to health and safety reasons as it is a restaurant.

Great breakfast buffet. Great value for money. Hayley served me and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return again. 😋

This place has really gone down, no staff, carvery food was cold and the yorkshire puddings could bounce off the wall! Asked for a new one and that was the same! Save your money, stay clear.

Great meal and experience this evening for me and my family. Food was amazing and felt like a lovely family atmosphere. Staff were first class with a special mention to Gemma who was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for her. Would highly recommend and can’t wait till our next visit.

The gammon was so dry I had to spit it out, the cauliflower cheese was awful, it had clearly been sat there for some time, stuffing was bone dry, I was really looking forward to my meal out to say the least I won’t be coming back. I did tell the staff they offered to do me some veg with no butter on, but no offer of help with the meat or stuffing TIP don’t use the dry end of the gammon change it so customers can eat what they pay for

We ordered everything through the app, we were able to swiftly go and choose our carvery’s, lots of selection and nice and hot, unfortunately the veg was a bit raw. The only service we got was through delivery of our drinks and desserts, of which they forgot one dessert of which I had to ask after. The environment wasn’t the best, very dated and the table sticky. The staff over all were friendly, Yvonne was our main server and was very friendly. If it wasn’t from the good food and friendly staff, we probably wouldn’t come back.

The kids had a great time. Dven though most of the stuff in the kids area costs money it was worth it. The sefvice wasn't very good. Said wd could go up to order or order from the table. Nobody came to see if we wanted to order anything. Food was ok. The cake to takeaway was amazing as always. Disappointed, but was an easy placd to meet up with my kids and grandkids. Probably would visit again if the weather was bad. Otherwise we would try somewhere else.

The wife and I had a lovely meal here. We had the carvery and it was very very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were genuinly impressed. We will be back to check this wasnt a one off!!! 😀

Went to the bar to order to be greeted with "what do you want"..... asked for four carverys to be told they only had turkey.....3 of us had it but my Autistic daughter won't eat it so chose something else.... Went to get our carverys to find that not only did they have turkey but also pork and gammon! (My daughter loves gammon).... of course when she found this out it resulted in a massive meltdow and her refusing to eat!.....rather than disturbing other diners we chose to leave, £62 down the drain because of us being lied to. I was also charged for 4 large cokes and only got small cokes.....the lady that served us need to learn some manners.....we won't be coming back!!

ABSOLOUTLY GRIM Went for breakfast for the first time on Father's day and the last. Needed to clean the cutlery from the previous 2 diners before we even thought of getting the breakfast. The beans were stone cold, the tinned tomatos faired a little better. The black pudding was very tough. The scrambled egg was jellied block of tasteless yellow blancmange finally the fried egg destroyed any glimmer of hope from the endless stream of undercooked white snot swirling round the plate. Waste of £30, save your money and go elsewhere. Topped off with the kitchen staff in the kitchen shouting F... Off to other staff in a family pub with young kids, yes you can be heard. Amazing place, well done to the manager.

The food was okay, meat was good. We had specifically selected to be in the adults section when we booked, however we were placed in the children’s section even though we were a party of adults. There is an indoors play area and the noise from the children the whole time was awful, they were screaming and shouting to the point we couldn’t enjoy our meal or even heat each other, we couldn’t get out of there quick enough :( very disappointed, we wouldn’t have come if they’d have told us we would have had to sit in the childrens section.
