We came in as a table of six and were lucky to be looked after by Gabriela. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She sat us down straight away and made sure the table was suitable for our group, which was a lovely touch. On top of that, the food was absolutely amazing – generous portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. We’ll definitely be back!

Went for the carvery for the first time and was really pleased, food was good but couldn't eat it all. The staff were really nice and helpful especially Kylea. Will definitely go again

Great food as per usual. Only thing I would change about the tikka masala meal is the nan bread it often comes like cardboard or the masala bowl sits on top of it which makes the nan bread cook longer. It needs to be soft. Other than that everything about the place is fantastic 1000% recommend been coming here for years often bring all my family here as its so good especially the family/kids area.Shawn the waitor was very good checked on us a few times and was good with my special needs child very friendly a credit to the place.

Had a great evening, food was lovely, our waiter Joseph was very polite and prompt we had great service from him, the atmosphere was good.

it wasn't very busy today but food was exceptional as always. We have been served by Lindsay, she was very patient, nice and always smiling, she also adviced that there are free ice creams with kids food which we never where told before.

I had a Buffet breakfast for only £7.50 and the selection of things you get for the money is amazing. The food is cooked perfectly and tastes really great. The guy serving also was very friendly and very accommodating. All in all a perfect breakfast, I will now for sure rate everywhere I eat to here, really happy and full 😋. A+ from me.

It was an amazing breakfast with a great server named Lindsey. She was very kind and very helpful by always checking up on our meal and asking us if we needed anything els. Overall I enjoyed this meal and will definitely come back.

My go to place for dinner breakfast and lunch. Friendly helpful and professional staff.

I’ve been here several times, and the food is really hit and miss. Sometimes it’s lovely, but other times I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. A few months ago, I found egg and bits of shell in the mashed potato, and more recently, the mash had a strange vinegar-like taste. A staff member mentioned the hot plate wasn’t working properly, which might have been the cause. They did offer a complimentary cake to make up for it, but unfortunately, after leaving the restaurant, all of us ended up with upset stomachs. The cake went straight in the bin, as we were still feeling unwell. Disappointed, as I had hoped for better consistency given past visits.

I've delayed posting a review as I have always been a fan of their huge desserts... Until now! Last night I ordered their lemon cheesecake and when I got home and started eating it I realized it was nothing more then flavored whipped cream on a biscuit crossed with lemon drizzle on top. I didn't even eat half of it before I thought I'm throwing this in the bin. I'm so annoyed that I paid almost six pounds for absolute rubbish! Let's just say I should have stopped sooner because at 4 a.m. I was on the toilet being sick out of my rear end. My previous thoughts were, "You know the desserts are okay. Don't worry that you've had meals with hair in it or that the service is slow and people have clearly no idea what good customer service is. Just go for the desserts." NEVER AGAIN!

Been here for a carvery many times, some times good sometimes not so good, last week terrible, cold and doughy yorkies, hard carrots, no cheese in the cauliflower cheese, and the stuffing was like chewing on small gravel, not happy for 30 pounds.

Such an excellent carvery. Elliot cooked it to perfection. Will definitely be back for another when next in the area. All staff very happy and polite. Great job guys.

OMG words can't describe how delicious this food was today. The staff were friendly the guy serving Yorkshire puddings and taking the tickets was a diamond, we don't eat meat so he asked if we wanted the vegetarian pie instead, really Lovely as most places just move us to the veggies. The food was honestly the nicest we have tasted in a long time and as much as we are not from this area we have decided to come back once a month x we took cake away as too stuffed to eat but it looked too nice to not try lol x My only regret is not clearing my plate but I was just too full ... thankyou

Great visit as always. Team always look after Brad & Lozzy, even though Brads a nightmare! Daniel went out of his way to make sure we were looked after and had a good laugh, mainly at his expense 😂 Be back soon!

On first view this place looks the business then you get inside. No staff, no help, then, eventually we are told "sit where you like" no one told us that we collect our "breakfast" then we have to ask for a mug for the tea, at this point you have to pay so, your breakfast sits,getting cold. The "breakfast" where to begin, the bacon that looks and feels like wood cutting, the gigs that were so hard you could have used them as squash balls, cold beans,cold tomatoes and sausage that appeared to be made from sawdust. You had to make your own toast, another delay, the bread was clearly not fresh. On th upside the tea was fine, but a second cup was not possible because the two hot water jugs were empty. Then I saw the so called chef, he looked like he hadn’t had a wash or shave for weeks and had a dirty tea towel draped over his shoulder. We decided for our health and wellbeing not to eat the "food?" When someone finally showed up to clear the table I told her how bad the food was, she said nothing but came back and issued a refund. After my complaint the golf ball eggs were removed as was the bacon. If you value your health I would avoid this place like the plague.

Treated the family for a meal out. Kylea looked after us throughout our stay. She was brilliant with the children and answered all the questions we had. The carvery was lovely as were the puddings. Couldn't fault anything and will return.

Honestly review.. Plus points. The price is worth it and while the food isn't horrid, it's just not great. Negative: 1. Waited for ages at the sign to be told sit anywhere 2. Starters were at the table and literally 4th bite in staff came over to ask what we wanted doing with our mains. 3. Nachos were the most pointless I've ever seen. Just bowl of cheap doritos barely any credible cheese or cheese sauce . And the 4 triangles of garlic bread with cheese were also lacking 4. Mains came out fast.. as we were still easting starters Partner ordered hunters chicken, 2 chicken breasts. If they are chicken they must be a miniature chicken breed they were absolutely minute... Burger comes with coleslaw. It didn't. And no one came to ask if our food was ok so couldn't get anyone's attention. Then once mains were cleared almost as we were finishing. They brought out partners pudding. Mine no where to be seen. Waited and eventually got someone attention to ask where mine was. Ita being made.. (it's a slice of cake, surely you just cut it) by the time mine came out. His was finished. So I asked for a box to take home. The carrot cake was 3 slabs of dry cake and a minimal amount of frosting. All in all.. not the best visit. But will maybe try again and pick something different

Lovely meal again at the Middlemarch. Quality of food is lovely, good choice on the menu. Friendly staff, Ciaron is perfect with his friendly smile and friendly banter. Always made to feel very welcome on our Sunday visit 😊

Carvery tasted a bit off, the meat was very nice but the vegetables all tasted a bit odd. Over priced for the quality received unfortunately.

Excellent experience easy to order your meals of which a great choice.Staff so welcoming especially one table assistant Gemma, who was very polite and available when or you need her. Meal off the menu is excellent and seeing the carvery which was so appetising gave good choice. I do recommend.

Good popular pub on the outskirts of Nuneaton, starting to look a bit tired, good carvery with a wide rainge of vedge, huge cakes and family area.

Really impressed , been to a lot of restaurants up and down the country , I’m currently in the top 10% of food reviewers in the world , so I’ve been to a few places . someone compared this to the rival restaurant that is Toby carvery and I must say this wins hands down, meat was good quality and cut well , not wafer thin like the rival place , lady serving the meat very polite and friendly, deserts looked amazing unfortunately full from the carvery to try them , all staff from the second we walked in all amazing on a Saturday at 2pm, not overly busy , a few people at the carvery , but overall a good experience, will return next time we are close by to the area . If it’s busy then that’s a sign that it’s pretty decent and expect a wait. Some common sense needed from the people reviewing . Thank you guys .

Waited 15 minutes to be seated at a table when I had booked for a certain time. Queue for carvery was VERY long and asked for a bag to takeaway uneaten food to be told to get one myself. Kids dining area had a not so nice smell in the air too. Other than that the carvery was delicious and cannot fault it at all

Lovely place Beef was so tough, otherwise not to bad

Our first time there food was great. Meal was Gammon and the other was a mixed grill, and both were excellent. Brilliant staff vere helpful, parking was a little difficult but I was a Sunday so very busy. The cakes looked great so missed out there. And a shout out to Yvonne for here professional service. Will be going back 👍

Lovely to see Daniel back at work and sorting my dietary requirements out. Angela provided the laughs as usual!

We visited twice, 2nd & 3rd March, both times I asked for my steak ‘uncooked blue’…..as raw as the chef will do it. Both nights my steak was perfect. I haven’t managed to get a chef to uncook my steak like this in years👍 Our party also had the Hunters chicken, lasagne, curry and carvery which were also really nice. Service from all staff was lovely and polite and Daniel who brought my steak out was really nice to speak to. We’re already planning more visits to the NEC just so we can come back again…we live 200 miles away🤷‍♀️

Enjoyed the carvery and my granddaughter and her boyfriend had chicken tikka my partner had gammon steaks and they all enjoyed it 🙂

Gemma was a lovely person who helped me when I got cold coffee she got us a new fresh hot coffee. The food was warm but very hard and some of the breakfast was burnt. Great serving staff but not so good food. Personally I would not eat here again.

Stayed at Travelodge for a few days, so came to Middlemarch Farm for breakfast (5 minute drive away). Lovely selection, even yorkshire puds, all nicely cooked. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Had a lovely meal for my brothers birthday, seated straight away, food was great (including the customisations we asked for). Service from Manager Dan was fantastic, made our evening and will defo be returning! Thankyou

Carvery can be hit and miss in my experience. However regular food menu is good and food quality from the main menu is 4/5

First of all, came in and served by a man who completely ignored what my mum had asked and then we was served by a woman who was nice and was very helpful. However, the woman cutting the meat on the carvery was extremely rude, no professionalism and clearly didn’t want to be there.

Always a good experience! Lovely carvery - can't go wrong with the Farmhouse Inns chain.

I was there on the 10th Feb 2025 with my Son & Grandson, it was a great experience as soon as we got in the door, I am in a wheelchair, so the staff were on hand to help, a lady called Yvonne looked after me the whole time we were there, from moving chairs out of the way, to selecting a suitable table that I could get my wheelchair under, then helping me get my carvery as I couldn't carry it, to getting more serviettes & sauces. So I am grateful and we will definitely go there again soon. Thank You Yvonne for making our experience a happy one... Stevie...

Been here a few times for Carvery which is excellent value. Decided to visit for breakfast last weekend which is served up to 11:00 AM and again is excellent value for money. Usual items available, unlimited tea and coffee. Plenty of parking available. Very child friendly with a little play area inside.

Visited 25/1/25 what an absolute shocking experience 23 adults 2 children food all over the place we didn’t eat all at same time service disgusting staff couldn’t get tables right complained to manager what a waste of time she was Food average at best clearly management can’t mange their staff and get food tickets right Will not visit here again none of our party was happy and if you complain management couldn’t give a shit once they’ve had your money poor poor poor

We had a lovely breakfast Greeted by Gemma who informed us where the food, drinks were. She was very helpful and pleasurable. The waitress who was cleaning worked very hard but felt sorry that some customers couldn't of been thankful towards her when cleaning tables politeness doesn't cost anything. Well done to all that work so hard 👏

Come here every other week with work staff. Get a good pint of San Miguel and Guinness and Hayley always gives us great service.

Despite being really busy our carvery was really lovely. A good choice of meat and plenty of well cooked and presented vegetables. Had fun laughing about those who order a small and then moan when they get a small plate.
