Visited 25/1/25 what an absolute shocking experience 23 adults 2 children food all over the place we didn’t eat all at same time service disgusting staff couldn’t get tables right complained to manager what a waste of time she was Food average at best clearly management can’t mange their staff and get food tickets right Will not visit here again none of our party was happy and if you complain management couldn’t give a shit once they’ve had your money poor poor poor

Said online food till 9pm got there at 8. Staff said drinks only. But you could still book online! Rude staff. Horrible atmosphere. Don't recommend at all. Waste of time.

Friendly & helpful staff - Tom in particular was fabulous. Carvery was tasty. Good choice of vegetables. Look forward to our next visit.

Come here every other week with work staff. Get a good pint of San Miguel and Guinness and Hayley always gives us great service.

Despite being really busy our carvery was really lovely. A good choice of meat and plenty of well cooked and presented vegetables. Had fun laughing about those who order a small and then moan when they get a small plate.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Middlemarch Farm Restaurant in Bermuda Park, Nuneaton, to celebrate my nephew’s birthday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable and well-catered for throughout the meal. The food was exceptional. The menu offered a great variety of dishes, catering to different tastes and dietary needs, and everything we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The quality of the ingredients was clearly top-notch, and it was evident that a lot of care went into preparing each dish. Whether it was the perfectly cooked meats or the delicious sides, every bite was a delight. The atmosphere at Middlemarch Farm is also worth mentioning. It’s a lovely, inviting space that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. It provided the perfect setting for our family gathering and made the celebration even more special. All in all, Middlemarch Farm Restaurant exceeded expectations with its fantastic food, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere. It was a memorable experience for our family, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in the Nuneaton area.

Lovely food great friendly staff nothing too much trouble

We went there yesterday evening for a carvery which was absolutely terrible Our meal was Luke warm with soggy vegetables we put nearly all of the food in a doggy box for our dogs when we got home we put the food in there bowls and the dogs would not touch it Around 3 am in the morning the wife was violently sick so bad she nearly passed out we had to call a ambulance after consultation with paramedics they said it was a strong possibility it was food poisoning I am myself glad I never had those cold soggy vegetables People going there BEWARE! There reply was email them so I did but as never got a reply total waste of time

I’ve been there for a couple of times and all the times my family and I enjoyed. I want to say thank you, specially for the Staff called Yvonne. She just made me feel more than a customer, as she treated me with so kindness and humanity that unfortunately we don’t see it around often. I’m not giving 5 stars just because one of their staff didn’t have the same professional and respectful approach as Yvonne. He made me feel frustrated and disappointed with his lack of sensibility, sending me to the end of the queue to order my food. I was inside the restaurant for more than half an hour trying to order something through their app that doesn’t work as it should and I had to wait in the longer queque behind people that just arrived. It makes no sense to me because although they’ve got an app to order the food, it doesn’t do everything and we still need to go back to the entrance to order something. Anyway, for more Yvonne’s in the restaurant please 🙏. Her customer service is outstanding 🤩.

Was there on fri for birthday celebration group of 18 .double burger was raw.hair in 2 meals. Steak was charcoal on the 2 steaks .tika masala was watery no taste. naan bread was put under rice and chips making it soggy .would not recommend did talk too staff about food but nothing done.

There was plenty of food on the plate but the food was only warm instead of hot really annoyed to be fair I complained and was given a free slice of cake to take home with me 🤦‍♀️ Wouldn’t go there again waste of £75

Arrived for breakfast @ 09.10 for 2 people, we had breakfast straight away but most of it was cold, so told the member of staff who was serving behind the counter that it was cold, to which she replied we know that's why we have stopped serving it and a technician is looking at it now ( this is on a hot plate ).. we was at this point offered no refund for our cold breakfast... on other hand the tea and coffee was lovely. Left half of our breakfast because of this

The place was cold. The soup was cold, and I had to send it back. Carvery was small. The meat was dry. Yorkshire pudding was hard. Roast potatoes were burned. It's a shame.

So went for breakfast very poor . Bacon cold all very cheap and not nice .went to the male toilets and toilet paper wouldt even come out no hand wash at all staff don't speak much when you say thank ypu for cleaning your table .be a long time I go back for breakfast .the manager needs to go to the ranch to see what a breakfast is like

Wow, came for Xmas dinner today and the food was excellent, staff were amazing and there were enough of them and so we enjoyed a very chilled and un rushed experience which is hard to find on Xmas day. Brilliant!

Good value Carvery but I paid for a large meal and didn’t appear to get any more meat than the regular meal, and I was supposed to get an extra Yorkie pud, which wasn’t the case. We have also had dirty cutlery on one occasion. A little extra care and attention from the staff would make a big difference.

We booked on for the christmas meal with some friends, the table was set out with crackers ready to pull, food was amazing and a good price, Yvonne served us for our time here with a smile

Great carvery, lovely service, 10/10

Excellent food, meats were succulent and vegetables were done perfectly along with several options for potatoes. Atmosphere was very good with the play area being the yesterday place to be for our youngest family member. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Yvonne made sure we had a very good experience and she was well supported by her manager Daniel. Happy to recommend this Carvery to all age groups that are looking for somewhere enjoyable to spend time with others whilst feasting on the wonderful food.

A very pleasant Carvery with great food and good service. There is a nice children’s area with different cars to sit on and little amusements which the kids loved. Would definitely go again when in the area 🤩

Visited Middlemarch with family on Monday afternoon, there was 10 of us and we were celebrating my nans 75th birthday. Carvery was really good, good selection, lovely and hot and really tasty. We were disappointed that they couldn't make any cocktails as we wanted to get my nan a special drink. Also there were only 2 cakes available out if about 6 so we didn't bother with dessert. Overall we had a lovely time, just disappointed with the lack of availability

Middle march farm had been redo again more refresh and new staffs. So friendly and deaf awareness! Disabled friendly too! My favourite is dessert lol no dogs allowed sadly even for those who have dogs for the blind and deaf due to health and safety reasons as it is a restaurant. Also they do delivery too especially Sunday dinner

Carvery cold . Gammon undercooked but still tasted nice . Chairs had huge stains on them and tables scratched. They need to replace or clean furniture. And make sure food is hotter . It was luke warm .

Came in today for their festive menu, it was lovely, the manager Daniel was lovely very welcoming, he has great customer service

Located in-between McDonald's and Starbucks, while it is the better option out of the three, I wouldn't go out of my way to any of them.

Noisy we asked for family area but we're put next to the play area and wow so noisy we did not appreciate that. Really put us off coming back again.

Lovely place to eat and for birthday

We’ve just had Sunday dinner here (5pm) and it was sooo busy, but every single member of staff were polite and friendly and the carvery is really nice and well stocked. It’s definitely not a place to go for a posh meal, but for families with kids it’s perfect.

Amazing place to eat. Great value for money and is part of the green king chain, so you're guaranteed good service and a wide variety menu!

A great place and the food was tremendous

Tilly was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

Carvery was very good. Staff very friendly. Only downside, on this and our previous visit we could not identify the table number, nor could the staff. this resulted in our drinks being delivered to the wrong table, but luckily we spotted them in time.

Food was amazing, had the carvery. Yvonne served us, could not fault her service. Was bubbly and friendly, checked on us to make sure everything was okay. Definitely deserves a pay raise! Will be back again!

Very helpful,welcoming staff! I'm celiac, my son is a vegetarian,my partner enjoys food! This suited all our needs. We were treated to soya milk, gluten free bread, vegetarian sausages along with the buffet breakfast, son helped himself twice😋😉 I would highly recommend Middlemarch , Nuneaton for buffet breakfast!

My blue light card voucher which states it is valid ‘all day every day’ would not be accepted because the pub had decided they no longer accept blue light card on Sundays anymore. I was told to make a complaint to blue light card! The queue for the cavery spanned the entire length of the pub and was like this for our entire stay. This was due to no one serving food initially and then they just could not keep up. The food was ok but not as good as it usually is in our opinion. We didn’t clear our plates like we usually do. We really wish the Yorkie wraps were served on Sundays too. They are a fan favourite in our family and to say the kids were gutted is an understatement. All in all we decided we wouldn’t go back on a Sunday again.

We have carvery it’s nice I have large portions with good amounts of all meats only beef is to chewy can’t swallow but gammon and turkeys is perfect all vegetables is good …only what happen with your tasty large Yorkshire pudding they are 3 times smaller new …it’s before big with big hole for gravy new it’s mini and nearly flat …it’s my child’s favourite before he always ask for 2 and lots gravy inside….I sad not make pictures….don’t know maybe they new all time like that 🙁 me happy with my food but my child is not …

Food was good, excellent kids menu and love that they sell vegan ice cream which is also soya free for my granddaughter who has allergies. It allows her to join in with her cousins. Our waitress Yvonne was so friendly and helpful she is a credit to your establishment

This place has really gone down hill. Went on a Sunday for carvery and burgers with my family. Short lady with pink/red hair is unbelievably rude. She should find a non customer facing job. Pigs in blankets were raw and has given my partner a bad stomach. Yorkshire puddings are terrible. They're so flat and you don't even get a whole one anymore. Coleslaw was watery and tangy. Burger was undercooked inside but charred and burnt outside. They also got this order wrong and cross contaminated it with sauces and products that were requested to be absent. They would not replace it and had to leave half the burger because of the crap on it. Spent close to £100 to realise we will never return.

Yvonne was our staff member for breakfast and was very nice. The breakfast was ok, not as good as I have previously had, sausages meh, bacon has far too much cooked for amount of people there. I ended up having toast scrambled eggs and tinned toms, The toilets!!! OMG they are disgusting!! Mould, damp, smelled just horrible, please sort them out.

Very friendly and polite staff, overall food is quite good, gammon is delicious, on the exception the beef from carvery is dry and chewy, and cauliflower cheese is lack of cheese and overcooked like tasteless mash instead, properly just a bad batch.

Fantastic value for money. Food was really good. Tom really looked after us and made sure we had all we needed . Atmosphere was busy but very good. A really great experience around.

My friend and I came to Middlemarch farm for some lunch however our experience here was just somewhat horrendous. Firstly we went up to order and nearly every option I wanted wasn’t in stock which is okay not their fault but some warning to what they do and don’t have would save a lot of time and effect. My friend ordered the carvery and child’s sausage, chips and corn on the cob. I ordered the Yorkshire wrap, and when the food arrived was unpleasantly surprised with a tortilla wrap and potatoes, however, they took that back and rectified this. The potatoes were very dry sort of like when they had been reheated in the microwave and lumpy, the wrap just had tough cooked beef nothing else it was almost impossible to chew I had to cut it into small pieces and the yorky was extremely chewy. My friend found the same with her meal, Dry tasteless had to soak it in sauces and gravy She had to ask for them to top back up because they were empty. Her little son only ate the sausages and said he didn’t like the rest, corn on the cob was just rock solid poor boy couldn’t get his fork in it never mind bite it even though he had to drown it in sauce and salt. However, we’ve all experienced not-so-great meals so we just got on with it, we are not ones to make a fuss so we went on to deserts that took nearly half an hour to come out and the restaurant was mostly empty when the sundaes came out, the ice-cream was melted that much that it was crystallised when it had been left on the side. sauce was cheap certain bits were missing from the sundae that we paid for had to go up and ask them for it e.g. sauces, biscuits, wafers. My friend noticed that she had no sauce on her sundae so she took it up and mentioned this to them, for them to bring it back and say they don’t have the sauce for it as it’s not in stock. At this point, I was utterly shocked because basically what they said was "Go send that out and see if they notice as we don't have the sauce for that". After all, if something isn’t in stock you tell them or you improvise and say ‘We don’t have that sauce although we do have this sauce available that complements that ice cream well’ No nothing! My ice cream had a stale brownie on the top. We left them on the table after 3 mouthfuls. This is when I just had enough, people work hard to break their backs to earn money to go out and enjoy spending it and this is the sort of service that you get? It’s just not acceptable by any means. I told the waiter and he ‘apologized’ he was the only one that sounded sincere when dealing with this so hats off to him, it’s not his fault, they offered us a free cake which just wasn’t good enough at this point because how do I know that will come out correctly. A refund was mentioned so we asked if that was possible and thanked them, was told to go to the bar when we were ready too and we’ll have it all refunded. When we got to the bar we were greeted with such a foul attitude by the manager blonde lady making us feel as if we were crooks or something, arguing with us about how we felt about the food after asking us why the whole meal should be refunded! She was speaking to us with her back cutting up lemon which was just appalling behaviour for a manager. She said that because we had our puddings sorted they would only refund our two main meals that we had, after explaining that the baby's food was awful and the ice creams had been left full on the table. Even more attitude came from her so we just took the refund for the mains and left. I will never be returning here again, after traveling 30/45 minutes. Safe your money and go to Toby Carvery least you get edible warm food.

Fantastic service from Karla, Josh, ash and Tilly tonight. Nothing was too much trouble for our large business function. Monday carvery and puddings were delicious. Would definitely recommend. Can't wait for our next works meeting to be held here.

Very busy venue but has lovely food and the staff are lovely and polite

Don't like to give a negative review but unfortunately this time I have to. 1st time visiting, lovely pub & the staff were friendly but the food let it down. A party of 4 went, 3 had carvery at £8.99 two out of the 3 paid an extra £2 for pigs in blankets. The Gammon & turkey were both lovely, the beef was really tough, Yorkshire puddings were like leather the roast potatoes were that hard we couldn't cut them the cauliflower cheese was hard the stuffing stuck to the serving spoon & one of the two who paid extra for the pigs in blankets couldn't eat them because they were burnt & rock hard. On a positive the gravy was delicious. It's a shame because we have visited other pubs in the chain & have had lovely meals.

Carvery Sunday Roast, excellent, very efficient and organized.....

I would give this 4/5 stars. Food was amazing service was good the only things that got to me was the state of the kids play area. Easily fixable but plug sockets exposed and the equipment was sparse and very worn and toilets were not clean. The electrical issues in a kids play area needs to be fixed before I would return.

Massive queue at the carvery which wasn't managed well. If you order by app, the app has to be shown for each person (no tickets). No peas. Children fighting in the play area with staff slow to act. Poor experience, never been to a worse carvery and I've been to many.

The carvery is literal garbage, I have eaten tastier bogies. Cold bed wafer thin rations of meat…. And watered down sauces. If you expected a treat - save your money and spend it somewhere else

Food was brilliant with plenty of choice on vegetables...the turkey was lovely...the beef was amazing The staff were very friendly making us feel comfortable and even having a couple of conversations...they were all customer friendly...and they looked happy We were very pleased a d will be going back very soon

First visit, party of 7. Some carvery and main menu, such a massive restaurant pleasantly surprised lovely food, stood inline to order ice-cream, kitchen doors swinging wide to stainless steel kitchen. That kitchen was SPOTLESS ☺️

If going for the carvery, then the meal is lovely. Ordering off the menu means waiting 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and when it does, everything is luke warm or ice cold.

Super fast service, average food, but variety of choice within reasonable prices. Plenty space for any occasion. Would come back again. 3 stars because the food is average, not delish, tables were sticky which means they aren't covered with any tablecloth and being cleaned with something that spoils varnish, cleaning around the tables could be improved. Don't get me wrong but this isn't a 5* restaurant. Still worth giving it a try.

Meals took ages to come out, and one didn't even arrive. We ordered 5 meals (3 families in a party of 13), read off of a list to the server and she managed to miss one completely. Having had to wait ages for the food, then wait even longer for the missed meal - we then couldn't order dessert as it was past 9pm. Kids were very disappointed. Terrible experience really. Very disappointing. I also just found out one member of our party was extremely ill after the meal. He is coeliac so ordered a gluten free burger - clearly this is not what he was given as he was violently ill. My husband also reminded me that we asked not to be seated right by the children's area. That is exactly where they seated us. Well done Middlemarch, you failed on every aspect. I will expect a full refund for the entire party please.

The carvery is always brilliant here,which is why we keep coming back. Edit. Came for a carvery at 5:30pm on Sunday. Won’t be doing that again. Massive queue all the way to the back of the pub, ran out of Turkey so ended up with horrendously fatty beef. Then found out all cakes apart from brownies had all gone from the Cakery too.

Service was fine, the staff were nice and polite. The food came out suspiciously quick. Cutlery was dirty so had to get some new ones from a different table. Coleslaw tastes like human liquid waste. Lasagna was very meh. I guess the food was edible but wouldn’t eat here again.

Really enjoyed a repeat visit to Middlemarch, no Yorkshire puddings, but everything else available, and my word, how tasty are the beef dripping roast potatoes! Great food and atmosphere especially for a Tuesday night

Recommended Middlemarch for it's fantastic food... However it was nothing but a let down... Light flickering above us, and eventually moved table (with no assistance), the cup I had a coffee in had a chip in it on mouth piece section, beef and ale pie had little to no actual beef and was some form of cheap meat fat/kidney texture, mash had hard bits and only decent thing on my meal was the peas and gravy, and found a hair in the pie also... Then a carvery restaurant had no Yorkies which is why we didn't bother with the carvery... Unfortunately a rather poor impression

Have to say today was the worst meal we have had at Middlemarch. Yorkshire puddings were awful, ham very salty, and beef very tough indeed. Cauliflower cheese was like mush, with very little cheese taste at all. Roast potatoes were very greasy, stuffing was very stodgy. Best part was the mashed potatoes. I will try again, but just one more chance. It was truly awful today

Excellent friendly staff one person staff Tilly she went around every table making people feel feel happy.we ourselves ask for her service eg:( we asked for mayo she not only brought use a bottle but went out of her way to give us another bottle due to not much left in first bottle.).we wanted butter it was no pressure off she went on brought us butter.

Farmhouse burger used to be a soft bap and huge burgers.. now, bap was stale and smaller, burgers small and gristly. Chips lukewarm and soft. And had to wait over minutes for my food.

It's not often we go for a carvery. In fact, we dont go out much So it's important that the food is excellent, the staff are helpful and friendly . MiddleMarch has never let us down. In fact, the carvey meat (4 to choose from or have all 4) never looks enough on my plate until i get back to the table and realise just how much I had. The kids also have options, a kids' menu or carvey. While they wait, there is an indoor kids area. You have the choice to sit and eat in that side of the pub or theres tables elsewhere away from the childrens section.

Disgusting place, walked out before even ordering, food all over the floors, upholstery of the chairs were all ripped our table wasn’t even clean. Unsupervised kids fighting in the play areas tipping juice all over other children. Honestly never seen anything like it.

Love coming here for lunch, Daniel always makes us smile and have a good laugh Love the chicken tikka!
