Chicken Sunday dinners were 10/10!

More vegetables would be nice? 1 carrot, 1 parsnip and 1 broccoli bit of a let down

i had my wedding reception there so amazing day lovely staff so nice drinks and food when we finish the reception we was trying to tidy up we asked for pan and brush one staff said it's alright we will do it x i did felt bad because of confetti everywhere xx

Went out for our friends birthday meal last night,and have to say what a lovely evening we had :) Hadn't been here for a while & location wise in-between the whole group so decided to book,food was beautiful,lovely atmosphere, had such a cosy vibe ,and also service from Carlene was brilliant,so welcoming ,made an extra special fuss of our birthday girl,we are already finding a date between our group so we can book again in next few weeks.

This restaurant is the best one I have ever been to as it's service is great and the staff there are so friendly and welcoming...I recommend this restaurant to whoever is reading this right now. I'm so proud of my brother being a chef at this restaurant and also being a rapper. His name is Ivan Martin and I'm one of his sisters. So, if you do go to this restaurant then ask for one of the chef's called Ivan and that's my big bro. Please go to this restaurant as I strongly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Thanks Everyone.

Food was generally good, Beef a little dry, but still had good flavour, however the lack of veg was what disappointed us most, 1 stick of carrot, 1 stick of parsnip and the tiniest thin bit of tenderstem broccoli.

Would have liked a larger portion of gravy for the Sunday lunch as it’s was a little dry; but as this was the first time I’ve ordered from them, I wasn’t to know.

This was the first time I've ordered a curry from the Arches, considering past experiences with good quality food previously, I was expecting a better dish, but unfortunately i was disappointed. the sauce was quite watery, the overall taste was rather bland and salty, and the naan bread was overdone. which is a shame as the other food has been excellent.

Disappointed , 1 small parsnip, I small carrot, 1 small brocoli, no roast potatoes for the chicken, which was dry. a squashed yorkie and more stuffing than vegetables. was so looking forward to this, but will not be ordering from them again.

Ordered 2 roast dinners each arrived with 1 measly carrot 1 limp parsnip 1 thin stem of broccoli Few potatoes Only good thing is the amount of meat really Disappointed with the veg I’d rather a nice balance of veg and meat

If you've not been to the Arches for a meal you're really missing out. The food is absolutely incredible, the service is 💯 and you're sure of a very warm welcome from AJ. I can't recommend this wonderful place enough, I promise you you will not be disappointed and will want to return again and again. 10 out of 10

put through a small order for a mix grill and chips and the quality of the food was fantastic and it was still warm when delivered. spot on! will definitely be using them again.

Quiet Desi Pub in Nuneaton. Excellent food and very Quick service. Lamb chops and Masala Fries are highly recommended. I would highly recommend this place.

Reasonably priced pub serving pub food and Indian style dishes. The Sunday lunch excellent and good value. The staff friendly and efficient. There are Tvs showing sports and we would not recommend visiting whilst football on...very noisy!

Had a great night, first time there. Went for a carvery with my partner who had food from the Indian menu. My carvery was huge, plenty of meat and vegetables. Definitely didn't need the side dishes I ordered as i was full up. Partner had butter chicken which he really liked. They don't do a cheese naan so the guy who served us said hes ask the kitchen to put cheese on their garlic naan for him. It was fabulous, I think I ate half of it. Dessert was amazing. Profitaroles and the best fudge cake. Again huge portions. Our server was really friendly and kept us updated on the food the whole time. He came to apologise about the short delay ad they had a large party in the corner but it wasn't even a long wait. Atmosphere good and decor really nice. Will 100% be back soon

Perfect. Good prices and fabulous food. I'm a picky eater so I don't go many places. This is definitely one for my list. Alot of food, portions are huge so definitely, the don't need side dishes. The desserts are really good. Staff incredibly friendly and attentative too. We'll return soon

Waited an hour after getting there even though we pre booked the meals some of my party waited over 20 minutes for her food when the rest had finished. my nan bread was hard and like rubber could not even bite into it ended up taking out the few pieces of chicken because i just could not bite through the bread. chips were okay the drinks were small and overpriced not authentic at all overall i would not recommend and would not go back.

I had the worst meal here, I ordered the tandoori naan wrap and it was vile, the naan bread was so hard you couldn't pull it apart and not a lot of filling either. I went with friends & three of us ordered this wrap meal and all three was the same, it was like it was made in the day and then sitting under a heat lamp until it was served. I did complain and the reply was I will tell the chef & then was still charged full price!!! Will never go back!!

Tried the Arches for the first time today. Lively vibrant place with a great atmosphere. Couples and families alike were here making for a great Sunday dinner atmosphere. Although it was busy, the very polite and professional staff member showed us to our table promptly. They took our order for drinks whilst we had a look over the menu. 2 menus to choose from today- the Sunday roast dinner with a wide choice of combinations and side dishes. The other menu is the main menu which is wide and varied. We ordered our choices from the Sunday menu. The food arrived in a timely manner and was piping hot and well presented. BE WARNED....... THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE. ( doggy bag available on request). All was excellent quality and a credit to the chef. Extra drinks were ordered and came as quick as you like. The deserts are to die for and decent in size too. Would we come here again? DEFINITELY. Good value for money and a lovely Sunday afternoon experience. Thanks to all at the Arches. Please keep doing what you are doing cuz you do it well.

Brilliant food, beer was good, bit noisy in there, but it is a pub first and foremost that shows sports.

Chips were burnt and inedible. Onion rings were hard, garlic bread was so rubbery and hard to chew. The wrap had a maximum of 4 pieces of chicken in and the naan it was in was rubbery and cold. Ordered before and usually delicious but really disappointed with tonight’s meal:(

Gorgeous little find, English food with an Indian twist. Reasonably priced, home made freshly cooked food. Chips were incredible. They do a £5 menu which is excellent value for money and a good portion size. Will be back again soon.

The food that we ate was beautiful and would have got 5 stars, however I ordered two butter paneers but was sent one paneer and one chicken. Chicken had to be disposed of as we are vegetarians.

My new favourite dinner on a Sunday Roast chicken yum and there is plenty it always arrives hot my other half had the beef and he loves it too we will be recommending you to other people too 5* thank you!!

Hired the room upstairs for a 30th Birthday party on New Years Eve, I cannot recommend this venue enough! The room itself is a great size enough for seating, dance floor, Dj and buffet! It also has its own bar. I was able to set the room up from 12pm on the day, which was really helpful. Prior to the day, I was able to contact Shaun as and when, he always got back to me really quickly. The staff on the night were phenomenal, excellent service - we were able to use the bar downstairs as well where guests could get cocktails! They just went above and beyond to ensure we had a great night, which we did. The food was unbelievable, really tasty & good portion sizes! A perfect evening! Thank you!

I was surprised at the quality of my Sunday Roast. Proper roasties, vegetables, chicken, yorkshire pud and stuffing. Nothing frozen. Hands down the best roast on Jusy Eat..

We’ve been for food here a fair few times now and can easily say this is the best place to go in Nuneaton for a curry. Every time we go the staff are brilliant, the food comes out in good time, and the quality never changes. The pub half can get quite noisy so be prepared for that if you’re waiting for a table in the restaurant but once you’re sat down to order it’s much quieter over there. Will definitely be back! 🙂

Wow!!! 1st time we ordered from here and I am so glad I did I only eat chicken I was very happy there was a chicken option roast dinner :) my partner had the roast beef , there was plenty , I saw most people said there was not enough gravy but there definitely was I loved the chicken the parsnips and the roasties all of it and it was still hot I would Definitely be ordering again thank you:-)

Had an excellent Indian mix grill, well worth having. Disappointing to see no bitter for anyone to drink. Would love to go back but needs to be alcohol that others can drink other than lager

Really nice bar & restaurant. Great service & atmosphere. Food was great and drinks really well priced. Won’t find a better pub in Nuneaton imo. Lot of screens for sport too.

Staff were very friendly and polite. No issues there. Restaurant was clean. Unfortunately the food was where the problem lies. Generally very salty. Also found out the food is “batch cooked” by an external “chef” and then prepared by the “chef” on the day who plates the dish. This sounded to me that the food is reheated which would make sense given the quality of the food. Disappointed to say the least. Would not eat here again.

Just got back from having Sunday lunch .. not good at all the vegetables were so hard , we asked for mash for the grandchildren it hard lumps in . Gravy was thin no taste

Most of the food was over done and dry! I had the Masala fish and chips and it was overly salted and really dry. I also had a prawn off someone and this was also dry and over cooked, no moisture! I had ordered a paneer wrap to take away and the the cheese was cut that small and over cooked you wouldn’t have known it was cheese! I was highly disappointed as I had been here for lunch before and it was beautiful. Service was perfect and the staff were polite and friendly.

Sunday Roast. I would have liked the gravy to be a bit thicker and there wasn't much cabbage, but overall very good. It was a last minute decision and it wasn't ordered until the evening. So will probably order again, but earlier

Quality Sunday roast, meat was really tender. If I have to be picky there wasn’t enough gravy but that’s my person choice!

Nice quiet family friendly pub, plenty of screens to watch sports, large indoor and outdoor area, staff are polite and pleasant, plenty of variety on the menu and all food tastes great and is very tasty

Had gammon as main meal x 2 was asked if I wanted egg and pineapple with it so said yes and when got the bill was changed £6 extra!!!!.cheers

We have loved the food in the past from the menu but today we went for their Sunday lunch. What a complete letdown, it wasn't hot when it arrived it was just warm, the carrots and parsnips were rock solid. The roast potatoes where well over cooked to the point of not being able to cut through them. The meat " which they boast is from Frank parkers" just wasn't good at all but everyone knows Frank parkers is well over rated. No mash without paying extra or new potatoes, seriously? It's as if the cooks there aren't actually aware of what a Sunday lunch consists of. Oh well, we've learnt a lesson, we won't be going back for it.

Really nice pub. Prices are a bit high end but it's the times we are in now. Excellent pint of Atlantic. Regular mixed grill was enough to feed us both with some chips added on. Very tasty food. Some of the best. The barman was excellent and had very good. customer service skills. We were passing through the area but would visit again if in the area.

Food was amazing, lightly battered squid as starter, and halloumi mushroom burger fir main. So tasty, no room left for pudding. Staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful restaurant, would highly recommend.

Food as advertised - It was hot and tasty - Small niggles were Bacon wrapped stuffing - Why? please put this on the menu as cannot eat bacon - and Veggie wise there was not much proper veg ie ie greens- cabbage etc - How about a little less meat and more greens (excluding courgettes) - Overall it was OK but not really worth the price

We have been to The Arches a couple of times previously and never had a bad meal. The Indian mixed Grill is amazing and is worth every penny. Tonight I had the Sirloin steak and ordered the peppercorn sauce, which I can be funny about But OMG it was amazing and homemade. This place is definitely a place to try and if you Love peppercorn sauce, this is the best place by far. Tonight was very busy and we was treated so nicely by the staff and they kept coming over to check on us so Thank you very much. We also love the specials that they do daily as well. Mick & Kerrie

First visit to the Arches and will definitely be back!! We had the Sunday roast, one being beef and one pork. Excellent Yorkshire Pudding, roast vegetables (potatoes, carrots and parsnips) and very tasty gravy. The pub has been totally refurbished and the staff were just so friendly .... what's not to like!!!!

Absolutely love the food here. The Indian menu is spot on, make sure you try the Punjabi style lamb chops for your starter.

We came here for dinner to celebrate completing my teaching degree. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, I took over 25 minutes to have our order taken, then the meal was cold and we had to wait over 40 minutes for our bill at the end. Our family was disappointed at the lack of care and customer service from the staff as there was plenty of staff. We have been here before and the food was excellent, but this time, the gravy was cold, the food was cold and the vegetables weren’t even cooked properly. Really disappointing as this place has a lot of potential if it had the correct level of customer service. If the place was busy, we might have understood, but there wasn’t many people there at all. Such a shame.

Helpful, friendly staff & good service. Fabulous food (we had lasagne & beef bourguignon), generous portions & served hot (unlike some restaurants where food arrives warm at best). Our only negative is that it was very noisy due to the low ceiling, everyone was talking over each other to be heard which only added to the volume in the room. That aside, we had a great meal.

Roast dinner didn’t even get eaten, don’t think I’d even feed it to my dog. Will not be ordering again.

We had the pork roast dinner, and the meal was perfectly cooked, hot, very tasty, and greatly enjoyed by us both. Well worth the money, and well recommended. The only downfall there wasn't enough of the gravy, but otherwise, it was great.

Didn't eat. Saturday afternoon beer. Used to drink in here years ago. Totally dead now.

My friend and I went here on Saturday evening thinking it was going to be good, boy was I in for a shock, the food looks nothing like the pictures on its sight. You can see from the photo how the food actually looked. My friends burger was burnt and his onion rings were fried to death and hard . My curry was like a gravy with meat in it and I found multiple bay leaves in it, a hard black stick of something, a crunchy black object and a lump of gristle, the so called chilli naan was actually a pizza base thing smothered in butter, the first waitress I spoke to couldn't care less repeating like a parrot 🐦 " well that's how it is ", the second was more helpful. The chef is clearly not a chef only a cook at best , to be honest he clearly can't cook, overall a disaster and I will never go back. And to add £7 for 3 frozen squid rings as a starter, absolute joke. Steve Ross

Food was very nice, lots of choice too. Very interesting fusion of English and Indian foods on offer. Nice outside space near the arches and railway line which I liked. Pleasant and efficient staff. But hard floors and walls everywhere so the sound bounces off all surfaces rather than being absorbed by carpets or soft furnishings so it was very noisy even though no one was being rowdy. Overall, a good place.

Family evening meal for my sons birthday. 6 adults and a 2 year old. We had a great time, lady behind bar and young lady serving were lovely. The food was excellent, 2 steak meals, 2 masala fish and chips, and 2 Indian mixed grills. Service was great, prices reasonable, quiet Thursday, atmosphere very friendly especially with our thankfully well behaved toddler. Will definitely return.

Mothers day lunch, disaster from start to finish, vile, dry beef that was described as "chefs special" slow cooked beef. Skin on!!! roast potatoes (more like boiled) roast potatoes. No seasoning on anything, veg was bland. Left feeling ripped off and let down. Will not be returning.

Went here for Mothers day lunch. The main was described as "chef's special slow cooked beef". This couldn't have ben further from the truth. The beef came out like a leather ball, my mother couldn't cut it and ended up throwing it onto my plate,...

Lighting too dim to read a menu, music too loud and basey to talk Presentation of the food was great, however Chicken tikka wrap had 3-5 small cubes of chicken in each half the wrap, and the naan bread was tough, never experienced tough naan...

Lovely environment, unfortunately the vegetables on my wife's meal were overcooked and soggy. But Lovely staff.
