I went in this afternoon for a meal with my family there was three bar staff behind the bar two of the bar staff was very polite and very professional the other lady not so much she was stood behind the bar not appearing to be doing everytime I looked crossed at her she was either playing on her phone or playing with her hair witch is unhygienic and not really setting a very good standard as previously stated the other two had staff was brilliant and remained professional at all times but as said the girl with the long brown curly hair did not

Had lunch , fish and chips and drink. Delicious hot food, friendly staff. Good value for money only £9.50. Local to us. Will definitely visit again.

Popped in the bank this lunchtime for a quick half and got served by the most amazing bar lady ever, Tayla you are amazing. Friendly, smiley and just all round perfect, she is a credit to the bank. I will be back to see you soon my queen x

Trying to get the steps up by walking every day so headed here as a pitstop. Great welcome from the staff and the friendly locals. Have eaten here twice now; first time we shared some small plates and second time we took advantage of the fish n chip fryday offer. Great place, owners should be proud 😊

I'm a moaning old sod, but I can honestly say "There was nothing at all to moan about. The food was excellent." Prices for food and drink were also very reasonable. Go and give it a try.

Reason for the 2 stars is because it was so so so cold in there so the food went cold so very quick. I never even took my cold off. So spoilt the hour or so with my friend

I would have loved to have given it 5 stars but it was so so very cold in there and had to sit with my coat on and so did other people in there. It wasn't very nice at all. I did complain and the person said they had put the heating on but they never The food would have been nice had it been hotter but because it was so cold in there the food went cold.

The staff are really lovely and the food was great. Eaten here twice and both times I really enjoyed it. My mum eats here every week! The whole pub was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had a lovely atmosphere.

First time here , met some friends prior going to the football, nice friendly atmosphere with a good busy vibe .

We had our WI committee Christmas meal at the Black Bank. The food was delicious, the service fabulous. I will definitely be returning.

Nice experience good and decent food price

The black bank was recommended to me by a fellow trucker. with its close proximity to the industrial estate heavily used by solo sleepers. From the moment I entered the pub I felt a warm welcome from the girls behind the bar and all of the locals! The price of a pint was cheaper than i pay back at home, and all served with a smile. The locals welcomed me to play pool with them and the atmosphere was great for a wet and windy Thursday evening. I didn't get to try the food menu as I arrived just after it stopped serving (8'oclock) but the Chinese from a few doors down was 10/10 on my way back to the truck I will definitely be parking my lorry here again when I have the opportunity. Great pub great staff. great atmosphere. The owners should be proud of what they have here. Thanks again and I'll see you all again soon. Trucker Adam 🤘🏼

The food was really good and inexpensive ,beer was great, we really enjoyed our night .

The only downside was restricted desserts mainly waffles not keen on them and don't like apple crumble so disappointed great meal but let down with the desserts

We went there for someone's birthday party. The atmosphere was great, but quite noisy, because of the disco ! We had a great time though.

Good pub. Pool table, dart board, jukebox, good selection of drinks. Would be happy if this was my local. Didn't have any food so can't comment. Happy to welcome a group visiting the nearby CBS stadium.

Passing through and dropped in due to an accident that shut the road, the whole pub from staff to customers were very friendly, spotlessly clean and the food was very nice and the drinks were very reasonable! Only disappointment is that we live in Derby so unfortunately will probably not get the chance to visit again 😞

Pub meals in a recently refurbished premises. Good food that was well prepared and reasonably priced. You can reserve a table or simply turn up and claim any free table, order at the bar. We had about a 20 minute wait but it was at a busy time on a Saturday so I consider that very good. There is a car park but at busy times it can be a lottery whether there is a space but you can usually squeeze in somewhere. The layout of spaces could do with a rethink and reline .There is level dda access from the car park but I would recommend booking to make sure you have a table in that section. We will be back soon.

Food was good, but no table q had to order at the bar and get your drinks. Chairs were hard so did not stay as long as we usually do when out for a meal.

Just visited for food for the first time,good menu selection and generous portions, staff were friendly and food served piping hot with a modest wait,which was worth it as all meals were tasty and cooked perfectly. Good selection of beers and moderately priced. Highly recommended

Having driven past this old established pub on many occasions I decided to visit for lunch. I was not disappointed. The dining area is comfortable and the service was excellent from the friendly, welcoming staff. The food was extremely good and reasonably priced. It certainly won't be my last visit there and I would recommend it to friends and family

To be honest, I am biased. It is run by two friends of mine. I hope they do well. Have taken mother-in-law for a meal and she loved it. People are friendly and pub is clean and tidy. It would be a shame for Bedworth to lose another pub. Hope the people of Bedworth support this and other pubs. Have been a few more times taking family members for something to eat. Always lovely food.

We've had a few good meals here but hadn't been for a while. It was a last minute decision to go out for lunch yesterday and I'm so glad we did. I enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast dinner. I was torn between the pork or the beef. I opted for the beef which was absolutely melt in your mouth. My partner enjoyed his big fat burger. The food is good value for money and the service was great, everyone was friendly. The new decor looks really smart and stylish in a lovely old building. I highly recommend it, we'll definitely be calling again.

I've been at various times over the years. Last time was for a quiz. The pub was very busy and I struggled to find a place to sit. Drinks are quite cheap. The quiz was enjoyable - I'd certainly recommend that (it is £2 per person, although their website said £2 per team). It's one of the better quizzes I've been to - prompt 7:30 start and just under 2 hours to complete 6 rounds. I'm not sure what the pub is like for other things but I'll definitely be back for the Wednesday night quiz.

Pub is very fresh and clean after its re-furb. Staff lovely and friendly. Food smashing. Had fish and chips. Just right amount and very tasty.

There were no cask ales even though they advertise it outside, the drinks were on the expensive side and the food menu was a typical pub grub with little imagination and pricey. The interior was the only positive as it has been done up

Had food here and the food was good quality and value especially the sharer pudding

3 of us had meals here. Our first visit and we will return. We had 2 of the Large fish dish, fish, scampi and fishcake with bread and butter for less than £12 each and the rump steak was cooked to perfection and very tender with no fat. {not a morsel left on the plate} and cheaper than most.

We thought we would try somewhere different on Easter Monday. We were really impressed. All three meals (steak, fish and chips and Macaroni cheese) were absolutely delicious. The real ale was well kept and the staff were friendly and efficient. Very enjoyable. It must have been 30 years since I was last there.

I had never been to the pub before, husband had back in the 90's and I do know a few friends do go there. Ordered steak, the huge fish platter (husband) and a Mac n cheese with crispy bacon (daughter) and wow excellent food. The chef said it was a very thick steak, it was, and asked me if I wanted it to be cooked a bit longer, I did and it cam out great. Husbands fish platter was a good size and daughters Macncheese vanished (inc the bacon). This pub had shut down for a while and reopened in August 2021, Boss also knows a few friends of ours. A good place for a good reasonably priced meal in clean very presentable surroundings. Also biker friendly, which is an excellent thing to be. Thank you to The Old Black Bank. x

Took my daughter for our regular lunchtime meal and catch up. Staff are always busy but welcoming. Great food. Only downside this time was my chicken was a bit dry and tough. As always lovely day 😊.

Birthday Drinks with our friend in the Black bank. The staff were very knowledgeable about the wine that was on offer. We didn't have food but what others had look very tasty. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the people were friendly from the mowe went in. The Manager and her team are excellent. Well done

Great atmosphere. Mixture of ages groups, suitable for all events. Good selection of drinks. Great food reasonably priced. Pool table, dart board, fruit machines, parking, outdoor seating area with cover and heaters. Great staff and lovely new landlady and partner. Lauren and Paul. Closer to bus stop, ricoh arena, local shops, leisure centre and amenities. Definitely recommend.

1st visit in to long, gr8 beers, well chilled atmosphere, super outside seating area, Im chilled to the max big time. Super clean tables & bar, I take my hat off to the new owners, yav got it right keep up the good work & very satisfied customer
