19/09/2020: Four of us with a tiny dog arrived here on spec on a sunny Friday afternoon in September. We’d come to Corfe Castle on the steam train from Swanage, and wanted a drink and a late lunch before our return journey. There was a queue out of the front door, but somebody told us to go round the corner to the garden entrance by the castle gate.The garden entrance was a good find - we found a shady empty table immediately. Food and drinks were ordered from an outdoor bar, and the food delivered promptly with a smile. The beer was good, sandwiches (served on olive oil ciabatta bread with chips and salad) were excellent, and we all left with smiles on our faces.
06/08/2020: Staff were really nice and the food was good. The pizzas seemed to be best. The burger didn’t hit the mark for me sadly, it wasn’t very succulent, but I know others loved it. They had done a great job of managing the COVID restrictions.

White Horse Inn

29/09/2020: We have been staying in Swanage for a week and have eaten at the White House Inn twice, both times the food has been excellent as was the service even though the place was very busy both nights we visited.
09/09/2020: Went to this pub for a meal taking advantage of eat out scheme ,we had the steaks which were on the tuff side & chewy there did not appear to be much self distancing being observed when we visited.
