The Shed in Kensington and Chelsea

It's the first time I come in Bobo'Table and I'm not disappointed. I was looking for a restaurant with a special concept and this restaurant was exceptional. The food is refined and sophisticated, the place is really elegant. The five stars are well deserved.

Lovely food and fantastic service. Particularly from Chris, who was super attentive, very knowledgable about the menu and made us feel really comfortable!

Pretentious and overpriced place with a rather dull atmosphere, dominated by an older posh crowd. The place is overly packed with tables which makes it impossible to have a relaxed dinner experience. We were initially set at a tiny shaky table with the most uncomfortable chair, and squeezed between other tables and the entrance. We then were allowed to move to another table, although it still was very squeezed. The (minced!?) chorizo we had as entry had a horrible taste of cumin rather than meat and the bread and dip were blend. The main dish was better, but nonetheless lacking salt - and we were not being asked on how it was so no chance to ask for salt. For the very high price I would expect an overall much better experience.

Nice team who does not know the dishes. Disappointing food with goat cheese tartelette very small with no taste, burrata with pear which was oxidized, dry and hard. Portions are very small and the bill very high. We took only starters and paid £60 per head.

Such lovely folk, friendly, attentive, eager to help navigate the menu. The food was utterly delicious, and the ambiance of the space is intimately majestic. If I could I'd rate The Shed as 200 stars!

Experience was superb. Definitely coming back and referring.

Loved all of it. Tried the tasting menu and it was out of this world. The wine pairing was perfect. Give them a try they will not disappoint!

Danni is the sweetest and most helpful waiter. I was completely lost in the ordering process and she was so patient, kind, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned. The atmosphere was beautiful, cozy, friendly, and welcoming.

My wife found this gem to visit mainly because of the GF options. Not expecting much what we found was some amazing food, especially if you like small plates. The staff were amazingly organised (we overheard the team talk for the evening service which was a brilliantly led team talk) and this came across in the service. It’s a must visit if you’re in this part of London.

Kia was a great addition to a very easy and warming dining experience. We had spent the day out and we're starving by the time we arrived, she helped us make a good decision on the amount of food and what sides to choose (letting us know the tenderstem trumps sprouts without hesitation) Highly recommend, the sea bass was a highlight along with the twice baked souffle.

I was so excited to visit, but unfortunately I could barely eat anything. It had been a very long time since I had seen a menu with such little dairy free options, just soups and a couple of sides. I ended up ordering the leek side and it came out cold, even though I talked to the waitress, no one came to talk to us or dealt with the issues. She was lovely, but the experience was a total fail. The ambience and the place itself are amazing and the other dishes looked delicious, but I wouldn’t eat there again. I would definitely recommend the outdoor terrace for a drink. It is super cozy.

2 star service. We waited a long time before receiving the ordered dishes, my glass of wine and a beer arrived when we had already almost finished eating. Plus, the wine poured into my glass clearly showed the bottom of the bottle, a strange color and full of sediment. I asked to change it, but they almost seemed annoyed. They made a mistake in including the wine on the bill, instead of the glass, they included the cost of the whole bottle (£90!!!). So: Unfriendly and incompetent staff. Food ok, but not worth it.

We had a big family dinner for mine and my mum’s birthday with 3 generations (21 people aged 2-79). The restaurant was fantastic from booking all the way through. They took consideration for the kids need and all the dietary requirements. The food was incredible and Kia (our waitress) could not have done more to make us feel welcome and looked after she really was the cherry on the top! Thank you Kia, Mikey and all The Shed Team. We hope to be back soon!

A wonderful and relaxing dining experience with Anne as our server. She was able to handle a food allergy and offer suggestions from the menu and make adjustments. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We highly recommend this fun spot!

Chris was the most incredible server - so welcoming and guiding us through the menu with ease and great wisdom. The food on the set menu is an exquisite spread with gorgeous wine pairings. High recommend!

The food here is creative, fresh and completely delicious. Anyone that has anything to say about British food should come here first. Our mains were the beef and the venison which were tender and flavourful, although my unexpected favourite was the Jerusalem artichoke tart. The service was attentive and friendly (I quite like the staff uniforms. They go well with the theme!). The atmosphere really felt like a converted aesthetic garden shed. It’s was warm and inviting, and complemented the food. Highly recommended!

We had a disappointing experience due to the attitude of the server. We arrived 8 minutes late, only to find that our table had already been given away, despite the booking indicating a 15-minute grace period. When I pointed this out, the server firmly stated that the table is held for only 10 minutes, without taking the time to verify the booking details. This approach felt dismissive. Acknowledging the oversight would have made all the difference, and we would have happily stayed for dinner. Unfortunately, we decided to leave instead.

Beautiful interior and lovely atmosphere, but food and service were below average. Broad bean and caramelised onion hummus contained no traces of caramelised onion or flavour. Sour dough was dense and quite sad really. Goats cheese tarts were the star of the meal. Staff were not attentive and allowed us to order and wait for drinks that were unavailable. Will not be returning.

Dec 2024. It was a rainy night in London and we were looking for a pub to get a bite and come in from the rain. We spied this charming a little space and decided to pop in. Well, I'm so happy we did. The pubs we passed by were too loud and crowded and we wanted some place we could have a conversation and some good food without being jostled all around by everybody cramming together. The restaurant was decently busy, even though it was early in the evening, but I like an early dinner, and they quickly accommodated our party of two, letting us know that we were lucky we came early because typically they have reservations that fill the place. After eating their exquisite food I can see why. England gets a bad rap for not having what people would consider fine cuisine. If you want to put that myth to rest you need to come here immediately. We ordered many different items from the menu and every single one was better than expected. We loved that it was all locally sourced food and the chef has an amazing skill in showing off the bounty of the UK countryside. One dish after another had our tastebuds delighted and anticipating the next tasty treat to come out of the kitchen. The service was impeccable. Anne gets credit for that last star to make it a full five star dining experience. Anne was attentive and knowledgeable about the food and we enjoyed every interaction with her. You really must come here when you're in London. You absolutely will not regret it.

This place is still great as ever. We hadn’t visited in way too long and popped in this evening for the Christmas tasting menu. Inventive and exciting dishes were served by an attentive staff. Cozy anytime, but especially around the holidays, The Shed does not disappoint. A great culinary experience all around.

Food unfortunately was not great. Bland and tasteless not season well. They source sustainable ingredients in season surely can do better than that with those ingredients available No sauce on the salad at all and also no seasoning on it. Pollack Wellington also has no seasoning on the fish or even the sauce that come with it was bland. Need to use a more flavourful fish to bring out the taste of this dish eg. Like salmon or up the flavour of the sauce that come with this dish. I only like the warm fresh bread at the start of the meal.

We just had a fantastic experience in this cosy restaurant. Apparently they change the menu (almost?) every day. In any, we considered ourselves really lucky with today's menu. We ordered and shared many dishes and they were all amazing. With nothing but local ingredients and very well prepared by an outstanding kitchen and despite many occupied tables we did not suffer from any delays. All dishes served with enthusiasm. And none of the dishes were too heavy and that's why we were able to order 4 of the lovely deserts. As one can imagine, we would really like to return here asap.

The entire experience was fantastic. The vibe, the music, the service, the decor, the great wine list and of course the food. We will be back for sure.

This is a great neighbourhood restaurant, slightly tucked away from the busyness of Notting Hill. Farm-to-table concept where you can truly feel the pride that goes into making every dish. Great flavours and great variety of dishes. Friendly and knowledgeable service and unpretentious, ambient atmosphere. - Value for money? Yes - Worth a detour? Yes - Best for (occasion)? When you want to eat really well, in a casual setting - Would I go back? Absolutely

Fantastic place brilliant food we liked all 4 dishes and heard the other tables enjoyed their's as well. Service was good but very friendly and pleasant Slightly cold at our table but not much you can do however beutiful and cozy location, great!

Disappointing experience. We were seated 25 minutes after our reserved time. Food was bland. Servings inexplicably small. Taste was nothing special. Service was awkward and inexperienced, but staff were generally willing to put in the effort (hence the two stars). Avoid the lemon meringue dessert

We arrived at the Shed around 22.15 in time for our booking. When we arrived it looked like the servers hadn't realised we had booked last minute, and seemed a bit startled. Dani, our server, was super friendly, helpful and politely let us know we had to order quickly as the kitchen closed soon. The other male server seemed more annoyed at us and we felt he was about rude throughout the dinner. Our starters were amazing. For mains we had the cauliflower steak and the beef filet. The cauliflower was perfectly balanced, however the beef was a little over done but still fantastic. When it came to desserts, there was some strange aggression/ energy from the male server again. He said there was only one option for dessert left, but then the female server told us there was also a cheesecake option. This made the environment slightly strange, as the staff didn't seem coordinated. It felt like we were being rushed out by the male server. Overall, it was a pleasant meal and in the future we will make sure to book earlier. I really recommend it 👌🙏🙂

This place is a hidden gem. From outside you are immediately capture by the location, the external seats and lights are very suggestive. Then inside the interior is very sophisticated but with an original touch. The food is delicious and the staff and service are the best I could find, if you are near Notting Hill don’t miss this place!

The food at the Shed is always varied, fresh, and original. The wine list is interesting and reasonably priced - you don't feel guilty drinking plentiful quantities - and the ambience and service always cheerful. As a group of ten, we simply "ordered the menu" for a fantastic selection of foods to share.

The small plates are perfect to share and try out multiple dishes. We loved the hummus, artichoke tarts, gnocchi, and chorizo! Our waiter was fantastic with lots of knowledge about the menu and very personable.

You never go wrong with the Shed. They’re warm and welcoming and the food is really good
