We ended up here by chance for lunch, everything was delicious, deceptively simple and really not very expensive for the area, warm atmosphere!

I don’t usually go out on my own / leave reviews but the service felt like I was out with a friend! Her name was Fia and she was very pleasant and made me not feel embarassed.

Popped in for dinner after a hectic day and was greeted with such lovely service from a waitress called Fia. The fish & chips were divine as well. I will be coming back!

This was a beyond a wonderful experience. It was so authentic, excellent service, caring, engaging and wonderful food and beverage. John and Christina were so lovely and very attentive. If you want a truly authentic experience with great food this is the place to be. And even better for me they can accommodate gluten free needs.

What more can I say about this pub? Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The exterior and interior are very well kept, a traditional English pub. We ordered the fish and chips and a cheese toastie. The fish was divine and the cheese melts perfectly on your tongue. The bartenders were outstanding - recommending the house bitter for my husband and a zingy spritz for myself. The place was really nice, with friendly staff and a good variety of beers. The fish and chips were decent, but I've had better elsewhere. It's a shame their TVs aren't working anymore—I’ll have to catch the Six Nations elsewhere. Overall, it was good, but with a bit of a bittersweet feeling. RE: It was the brunette lady who works the night shift and has an Indian appearance. She mentioned that the TV was currently out of order and wasn’t sure when it would be fixed. She suggested I head to your "sister" pub down the street to watch the 6 Nations. But if she was mistaken, I’ll definitely come to your pub instead, since I really enjoyed the atmosphere there. I often visit The Gloucester – it's my favourite spot in town for a few pre-drinks and some good food. It’s a charming little pub tucked away on a pretty street in Knightsbridge, with interesting artwork and photos on the walls and a classic, historical pub vibe. I've visited on quiet and busy days - the staff are so professional, friendly and fast even under pressure or when short-staffed! I usually have a meal when I'm there. They have some fantastic vegan and vegetarian options :) I highly recommend the pea & mint soup, pulled mushroom chili, Beyond Meat burger, and the hispi cabbage wedge.

Food was flavorful and well presented. John, the bartender was kind, quick, clever and shared great information for a non local. Well worth a trip, or two!

I visited alone and had fish and chips and two large beers. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I was so, so happy :-)

We had a big group upstairs. Everyone had a lovely time, and a lot of us got food and drinks. But the pub was severely understaffed with only one person working, so there's a long queue to get drinks and order food.. Also the upstairs had no light but no one was there to switch the light on for us. It was an OK experience but could've been a lot better...

The behavior of the bar woman is awful..she looks like she don't want to work at all... also she didn't explain to me that the pub is self service and the waiter is not gonna bring me the drinks...anyway the cocktails( banana old fashioned) was good.

Food was awful. Don’t bother going. Wish I’d had a sandwich from pret for half the price rather than the crap served here - would have been much better quality and enjoyed. I had a couple of mouthfuls of the sandwich and left the rest

My friends and I chose this spot to grab some drinks after football match and it was just what we needed. The cocktails were great – the mojito, in particular, was refreshing. We shared some halloumi and fries, which were really tasty. Very vibes and cozy. Value for money is spot on, especially for the area. We’ll be back for sure!

Staying at a hotel around the corner, and Gloucester pub quickly became my suggestions. It’s got that classic British pub vibe, which is exactly what I was looking for. Fish and chips are delicious, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The location is perfect – close to pretty much everything, making it convenient for a quick drink or snacks. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re staying nearby or shopping in Sloane square

We stayed on 6/12/24, we chose the pub because it was close to Harrods and we wanted something typical English, this pub met expectations, I gave 2 stars to the service because in fact it isn't there, you have to order food at the counter and bring you a drink alone at the table, very crowded and no one who considers you, booking is highly recommended! But the food is excellent!! Truly delicious and that's what counts!!! I ordered the steak pie 🥧 in the dishes recommended by the house! And bingo!!!!! The 4 of us had 1 main course each, 3 bottles of wine, 2 water, 2 garlic bread starters, spending 123 euros per couple!

Visited London from the States and was thrilled to find a pub with a fantastic chicken wings portion. It was absolutely bonkers!!!!!! The wings were crispy and flavorful, exactly what I was craving. The bar had a good selection of cocktails – I really enjoyed their margarita. The overall vibe is what you’d hope for in a traditional British pub, and the prices are fair for what you get. It’s close to everything, making it a great stop while exploring the area. Definitely a positive experience!

Me and my husband walked into this traditional British pub after our daughter’s graduation. We had an amazing experience coz the food was very nice and my husband really liked the IPA here. The staff are very kind and friendly too.

For Italian tourists, avoid it because they make a lot of fun, especially for those who are not perfect native speakers like theirs. For me and my abolished group they will never see each other again. Sometimes you need to be humble because it's the tourist who brings your food home!

A great pub and really a haven to find in central London. You feel like you're in a country pub, but central London is literally out the front door. Prices are actually quite good with location in mind, and the food is really good - much better than anything else nearby- this place has rescued me on many work trips to town for a pint and some dinner. I've never known this place to be too busy, which is a surprise. The team are friendly and efficient too, thanks to them!

A los 13. 20 el tiempo de espera fue de 45 minutos debido a la mayor cantidad de pedido recibido. No hay asados de domingo, incluso si es asado. Mal servicio, sólo intento robar 4 cervezas a los turistas.

Old English pub more than 200 years old, an ideal place to make a stop. Jhon, the owner, is a charming person who also speaks Spanish very well. Very English food, exceptional service and super pleasant atmosphere. Totally recommended
