Great experience in London. As a first-time traveller to LON, we managed to visit the pub a couple of times. Every time, great service and fresh beer. Very clean and amazing atmosphere... made us feel we had walked into Great Britains 🇬🇧 past. Thank you John, you really made us feel welcome even though we struggled with the pub culture in the beginning, your hospitality made us feel comfortable. We recommend to any visitors, to get a touch of the local British experience, as this is a must visit We recommend you try the fish & chips and the beef & raclette pie. John and staff were amazing. Spent a few days in London, they remembered our names after the first visit and treated us like regulars from day one.

Generous and good dishes. Ordering and payment are done from an application. It's quite practical. Large selection of food and drinks. Reasonable prices for the neighborhood.

Old English pub more than 200 years old, an ideal place to make a stop. Jhon, the owner, is a charming person who also speaks Spanish very well. Very English food, exceptional service and super pleasant atmosphere. Totally recommended

This is not only an authentic pub - this is a REAL pub, with as much drinking as eating (in the good way). They serve a very delicious fish & chips with crispy batter, lots of fresh fish and large, crispy, coarse fries, if something should have been different, the peas should have been pea mash instead of whole peas. You order and pay at the desk before you have the food served. The waiter (owner?) was alone to serve all the customers (mainly tourists here for lunch), and this was certainly not a problem for him.

Sincèrement ? Le meilleur repas que nous avons mangé depuis que nous sommes à Londres (3ème jour) ! Service impeccable, serveuse souriante, gentille et serviable ! Nourriture ? IRRÉPROCHABLE ! Bon... un peu beaucoup piquant sur les poulets mais les goûts sont là, c'est bien fait, propre, savoureux ! Je vous recommande mille fois cet endroit perdu entre les boutiques de luxe ! J'y retournerai bien évidemment et je vous conseille d'en faire de même !

Really cool atmosphere. Very comfortable. History on the walls. I was here in the middle of the day and had a yardbird draft ale and their craft banana old fashioned. Really good on both. I dropped a star on food because they did not know what a gin Rickey is. I think they have younger staff early in the day and most likely have more qualified bartending in busier hours. Couple of young fellows were very congenial at the bar however so hopefully expanding their craft. Cheers.

Back again after 5+ years. Fish and chips - perfect and a great sized portion. The English traditional ale was good. The Guinness cold had good domage but a tang that’s not right. Maybe it’s true - the black stuff doesn’t travel well. All up it’s the last true pub on Sloane Street and well looked after with great service, the food always good and the ales well kept.

We’ve been wondering around and found this lovely pub on Sloan Street. Slightly annoying to pass trough the road works but it was worthy beautiful duck hash and the wine was chiles to perfection. Strongly recommended. Will definitely pop in while back in the area

A friend recommended this pub. You find a table, go up to the bar and place your order and they’ll bring it to you. Quite a nice and cozy pub with some more seating places upstairs. I ordered the burger which was very juicy and tasty. Could have been slightly bigger in size but it was more than acceptable. Really enjoyed the taste.

Enjoyable classic pub. Usually not too busy, so can find a seat and the pub quiz on Thursday's is quite fun.

My partner and I found this pub on Sloane Street as we were looking for a restaurant on Saturday afternoon. After checking out the menu outside, we decided to have our meal here. There were several people in the pub when we arrived, but we easily found an empty table. We ordered the chicken kiev. The wait until the food arrived was only about 10 mins. It was very tasty, and we felt it was homemade in their kitchen. We would happily return, next time we are in London.

Really fun quiz and nice atmosphere

Very nice pub on Sloane Street where it's worth stopping off after the museum or shopping. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The beer selection is good and the other drinks are also recommended. The selection of gin is very good and there is also the 25ml version for those who want a little less alcohol.

Gloucester City. A lovely city, with lots of the old docking buildings still in place, and lots of small boats moored up. Gloucester Cathedral is lovely and majestic to see. There are a few quaint shops to look in, like the House of the Tailor Of Gloucester, which was beautiful inside and out, with so many gift ideas of the books' characters you can buy. Upstairs has old copies of the books and huge tailor's scissors, hand sewn characters, and sewing memorabilia to look at. Definitely recommended for Beatrix Potter lovers.

Stopped in for a sandwich The chicken and bacon on ciabatta was OK, but the dressed salad side was 8 pieces of limp rocket, with a piece of pickled onion The salad was not dressed as stated and definitely not worth £2.50 The cutlery was covered in dried food and they had no ale on hand pump Eat here at your peril

Bought the full dinner salad and was seriously disappointed. One tomato, one thin slice of pepper… then the very loud quiz night started on very loud loudspeakers… so we left hungry and went somewhere else. In fairness, the beer was as great and the duck hash was pretty good. Too bad about the salad and loud quiz night.

Nice pub, one of those places where the no one picks up the empty glasses from the tables. Could be so much more given the design of the place. Green King beer...very average

I’ve been popping into this pub for decades. It is curiously out of place - surrounded by some of the most expensive shops in the world, it is down at heel and could do with a tart up. But my beer was as it should be and the lady serving me was lovely. But please do this lovely pub up - it’s crying out for it!

Cristina was legitimately the best thing about the Gloucester. She was conscientious, thoughtful and authentic. She made sure we were comfortable and kept checking we had everything we needed while we were there. I can’t speak highly enough about her and I wish more staff were like her.

Kept us there an hour without taking our order.

This place was very busy, when we arrived. We placed our order which took about 45 mins to come, we weren't warned about a wait. I had chicken kiev with fries, the chicken was simply chicken fried in garlic butter. The fries had been fried so many times that they were either hard or full of grease, not pleasant. Hubby had steak and ale pie with mash, gravy and cabbage . The cabbage was burnt and the pie was nothing special, rather tasteless. The pub was busy so must have something going for it, unfortunately, for us, it was disappointing.

Following a shopping trip to Harrods, we chanced upon The Gloucester. There was a local pub atmosphere. We ordered drinks and food. The food took so long to arrive we were forced to enquire if there was a problem. We were informed there was a 40 minute wait for food. Had we known this was the case when we ordered, we probably wouldn't have stayed. The food unfortunately was not worth the wait. For the 'Local pub' vibe it was spot on. For food, forget it.

Signature dishes, Slow cooked confit of Pork Belly, Gloucester Burger plus fish and chips were all lovely and delicious. Good fast service and not overly crowded. Great prices considering where it is placed.

Typical British, with good food and lots of beers to choose from. The girl at the bar is very friendly and gives you great advice on beers.

Terrible service. Forget to pour my drinks after I'd paid and disappeared for 5 minutes. The table still hadn't been cleared from the previous customers by the time we left, even after asking.

Pie and chips, amazing. Real cask ales fresh and cold. Wouldn't recommend the steak, however. Pub vibe, spot on.

A quaint little, traditional style London pub on Sloane Street, between Sloane Square and Knightsbridge. We only called in for drinks, so I can't comment on the food. But it was busy & the service was OK. We got a seat in the window, a great spot to watch the shoppers go by.

Das Bier schmeckte (für deutsche Verhältnisse) äußerst dürftig und hatte mit über 6 Pfund einen stolzen Preis (allerdings noch vergleichsweise günstig zu anderen Orten). Ich weiß noch immer nicht was ich davon halten soll, dass uns der Kellner mehrfach das Hammers Zeichen (gekreuzte Unterarme) präsentierte. Weil wir optisch als Freiburger zu erkennen wsren. Deswegen soll dies an dieser Stelle auch nur eine Erwähnung ohne Bewertung finden.

Este tradicional pub se encuentra ubicado en la zona de Knightsbridge, y fue inaugurado en 1835. Cuenta con una amplia carta de bebidas, así como con otra de comidas. Acudí para comer pocos minutos antes de la hora de cerrar y me atendieron de manera muy cordial. Me decidí por un solomillo de ternera de 28 días de maduración con guarnición de patatas fritas, tomates cherry, aros de cebolla y rúcula y salsa a la pimienta y una pinta de cerveza italiana Peroni. La cuenta ascendió a 25,65 libras (unos 30 €). La verdad es que todo estuvo muy bien, la comida muy buena, la atención perfecta y el pub muy bonito y acogedor.
