Long day of walking and stopped in for a burger and beer. Traditional place , worth a stop. Both very good and John could not have been more helpful. Great choice!

Love this pub, last of its kind! The staff are super cool! I have frequented this pub for the past 6 years, Christina and Steve will look after you and treat you as their own. It’s very rare to find a pub in London these days where you have that local family feel. It’s a must visit after a hard days shopping in town

Did not enjoy our visit unfriendly scruffy barman, left the young lady who was very friendly to do all the work, no hot drinks on offer even though it was on the menu, food portions very small, a side portion of onions rings which was 3.99 consisted of only 3 rings. lovely old setting, but bar man needs training on dealing with the public.

Very disappointing 😕 service from bar tender appalling, food was not up to standard to area. I had the Gloucester House burger, burger was cold, cheese sauce (was split) and the non crispy pork belly (was a tiny cube about the side of a pound coin) my daughter had the Korean Chicken Burger which to was on the cold side and the Korean bbq sauce on the chicken and bun, was caramelised into a marmite taste and consistency rather unpleasant and had to scrap that off as it was much to overpowering flavour... so sad as it had such nice reviews thought we'd give it I try... Disappointed 😞

Just around the corner from Harrods, I found the prices pretty good for a central London pub £89 for 4 dinners and 4 drinks. Nice intimate surroundings with extra seating upstairs and TV screens showing sport. I've put it on my list of recommended pubs to visit in London. A Greene King pub.

Popped in for dinner after a hectic day and was greeted with such lovely service from a waitress called Fia. The fish & chips were divine as well. I will be coming back!

We ended up here by chance for lunch, everything was delicious, deceptively simple and really not very expensive for the area, warm atmosphere!

I don’t usually go out on my own / leave reviews but the service felt like I was out with a friend! Her name was Fia and she was very pleasant and made me not feel embarassed.

This was a beyond a wonderful experience. It was so authentic, excellent service, caring, engaging and wonderful food and beverage. John and Christina were so lovely and very attentive. If you want a truly authentic experience with great food this is the place to be. And even better for me they can accommodate gluten free needs.

What more can I say about this pub? Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The exterior and interior are very well kept, a traditional English pub. We ordered the fish and chips and a cheese toastie. The fish was divine and the cheese melts perfectly on your tongue. The bartenders were outstanding - recommending the house bitter for my husband and a zingy spritz for myself. The place was really nice, with friendly staff and a good variety of beers. The fish and chips were decent, but I've had better elsewhere. It's a shame their TVs aren't working anymore—I’ll have to catch the Six Nations elsewhere. Overall, it was good, but with a bit of a bittersweet feeling. RE: It was the brunette lady who works the night shift and has an Indian appearance. She mentioned that the TV was currently out of order and wasn’t sure when it would be fixed. She suggested I head to your "sister" pub down the street to watch the 6 Nations. But if she was mistaken, I’ll definitely come to your pub instead, since I really enjoyed the atmosphere there. I often visit The Gloucester – it's my favourite spot in town for a few pre-drinks and some good food. It’s a charming little pub tucked away on a pretty street in Knightsbridge, with interesting artwork and photos on the walls and a classic, historical pub vibe. I've visited on quiet and busy days - the staff are so professional, friendly and fast even under pressure or when short-staffed! I usually have a meal when I'm there. They have some fantastic vegan and vegetarian options :) I highly recommend the pea & mint soup, pulled mushroom chili, Beyond Meat burger, and the hispi cabbage wedge.

Food was flavorful and well presented. John, the bartender was kind, quick, clever and shared great information for a non local. Well worth a trip, or two!

I visited alone and had fish and chips and two large beers. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I was so, so happy :-)

We had a big group upstairs. Everyone had a lovely time, and a lot of us got food and drinks. But the pub was severely understaffed with only one person working, so there's a long queue to get drinks and order food.. Also the upstairs had no light but no one was there to switch the light on for us. It was an OK experience but could've been a lot better...

The behavior of the bar woman is awful..she looks like she don't want to work at all... also she didn't explain to me that the pub is self service and the waiter is not gonna bring me the drinks...anyway the cocktails( banana old fashioned) was good.

Food was awful. Don’t bother going. Wish I’d had a sandwich from pret for half the price rather than the crap served here - would have been much better quality and enjoyed. I had a couple of mouthfuls of the sandwich and left the rest

My friends and I chose this spot to grab some drinks after football match and it was just what we needed. The cocktails were great – the mojito, in particular, was refreshing. We shared some halloumi and fries, which were really tasty. Very vibes and cozy. Value for money is spot on, especially for the area. We’ll be back for sure!
