The food was mediocre but the stuff was pretty good. There were screens everywhere so it was easy to watch the match

The Old Swan - Great service from Martina! Stopped by The Old Swan for a drink and had a lovely experience. The pub itself has a great atmosphere, but what really made the visit was the service. Martina, our server, was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Great experience! I visited the Old Swan yesterday for a few drinks with a friend. Marti provided excellent service by greeting us with kindness and a very welcoming smile. Marti was also really helpful in tailoring drink recommendations to suit our tastes. I will come back!

From the moment you step inside, you're embraced by the cosy ambiance of a traditional British pub with a contemporary flair. The staff here are not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable, guiding you through their extensive drink selection, a big smile and good vibes. The food? Exceptional! With a wide range of options including vegetarian and vegan options, all of us were happy. A true gem in the heart of Kensington - highly recommended!!

It is a traditional classic pub that is very popular. They pour a good Guiness and a nice Chardonnay. We were looking forward to the Steak and Ale pie, alas we were late and they were sold out. The Chees Burger and chips were a good alternative. The staff was friendly and accommodating. And they have a nice large TV for Sports!

I was served by Hadi and Marty who were both so lovely and accommodating to me and my friends. I can’t speak highly enough of their welcoming demeanour and how friendly they were- I will definitely visit again. What a lovely pub

Called in for something to eat. It was a little quiet but that was no problem. Plenty of places to sit.The person who served behind the bar & took our order was great. He greated us on arrival & wished us a great day when we finished. I had the Barbeque Chicken & my wife had the fish & chips bother were very filling.

Good vegetarian options (I had a pulled mushrooms chili), good service and decent choice of beers. Several large TV screens to watch football or rugby!

He is a super friendly boss man, Luci, and he has an excellent service ethic: a modern and clean interior and four giant TV screens to watch sports. Excellent prices, considering it's a Notting Hill location. It is a must-visit if you are looking for tasty food, decent drinks and a relaxed atmosphere!

Feels like pretty standard English pub, just off the main bus route. Clean, good beer selection and cocktails too. Didn't try food. Worth a stop for a pint when in the area.

My daughter and I had dinner and drinks. The bartenders were efficient and kind. The food was good. They have TVs for games to watch and upbeat music.

Staff seem lost. Food was mediocre. There were plenty of open tables, but they were all dirty and covered in dishes. Went to the bar to start with drinks instead and it was also covered in dishes and wet.

Sam was the best. We could play different songs before leaving the bar and it was so much fun! Thanks so much Sean and your team, this bar is so great fun - which is always hard to find in London x

Amazing Sunday for the football, drinks, food!

Don't bother, really, I reserved online also called in to double check booking, we were meeting a local friend for dinner, who had come from work to eat with us. When we arrived our table had been given to other folk and advised there may be food but maybe not, we were offered another table, which was not what I had requested!! What a shower of s***, we actually went to the pub round the corner, who were lovely. Glad you are doing so well you didn't need our custom. The Pub industry is struggling or maybe NOT for the Old Swan.

As always seems to be the way with Greene King pubs they have a high price for an average setup. The Old Swan follows the framework too. The pub is quite tired and in need of a bit of a refurb. The toilets were down a big set of stairs and weren’t too pleasant and had offensive graffiti in the gents. The service at the bar was ok but the pub lacked a bit of atmosphere compared to other nearby venues. The Mall Tavern for example is round the corner and has 20 beers on tap of all types and origins. Much better than a generic Greene King pub. A pint of ale set me back £6.40 which is outrageous. For that price I want a premium experience. This place isn’t that but charges as such. I won’t be back on that basis.

Ordered and paid 3 different times - each time being told they were out of that dish. Waited over an hour for a plate of chicken. Zero help from staff, queues for the bar with one staff member working even though the place wasn’t busy. Bad experience

Great traditional British pub with lovely selection of beers, spirits and food. Had a lunch and wasn't disappointed with the fish and chips, it was super yummy, golden crispy, hot and tasty, just perfect. Chilling atmosphere with nice music, the whole place very clean and beautifully decorated. I do recommend to visit. Thank you

Food was great. Cosy inside, with a character. Lovely atmosphere. It was a week day, lunchtime, when we visited . We had to wait about 35-40 minutes for our food, we were kind of in a hurry..

We ate here on a late Saturday afternoon. The good was standard pub fayre, but was freshly cooked and a reasonable price. There were more craft beers than you usually get in a Greene King.

Worst pub ever. Terrible staff unfortunately very rude. They lied and told me they would put on the formula 1 and took my money then told me no. Awful never never go here.

Paramos hambrientos un domingo pasadas las 15:00, tenían la cocina abierta para el sunday roast y nos atendieron fenomenal, que teniendo en cuenta que apenas hablamos inglés se agradece mucho. En la tele comenzaba el partido de rugby de Inglaterra contra Fiyi y parte de los parroquianos aplaudieron tras el God save the Queen. Comida y cerveza ricas. Recomendable.

Wonderful pub, nice atmosphere and great food.

Terrible experience. We arrived at 13.45 on Sunday at noon and chose 3 dishes from the Sunday specials. When ordering, we were told that those dishes were no longer available (… wow, Sunday specials and at midday they’re no longer available. Ok), so we chose something else. The orders arrived at 15:00: more than ONE HOUR after we ordered. Crazy, and the place wasn’t even at full capacity. 20 more minutes to get 3 coffees. Food was ok, nothing special. Never again.

I went in this place with my friend.. The atmosphere in this pub is really nice, and i really appreciated the music in the background. The food was really good, we order fish&chips and a beer! The staff was nice but i would prefer if they smiled more, because it was not too welcoming.

Came in at 11:45am last Sunday Aug 13. Brown haired lady cutting lemons and oranges at bar with her back turned to the front door wouldn't acknowledge us even though we were the only two people in the the restaurant. I went up, said excuse me politely, and asked if we sit ourselves. With a dour expression, she said yes, and then turned back to cutting lemons. We sat down and looked at menu. Sat there for at least five minutes and she continued cutting lemons at the bar and never came over to check on us or take our order. We left. It was really unfortunate because it was our first restaurant/pub we stopped at in England. For this reason I do not recommend.

Sono rimasto entusiasta di questo pub, provato per caso dopo una giornata di camminata per Londra, abbiamo cenato qui. I piatti offerti sono sempre i soliti che ormai si trovano in ogni locale simile a questo, ma comunque molto buoni. Il servizio ottimo! Hanno invece molta varietà di birre tra cui un'ottima Guinnes!! Linterno è molto accogliente e conviviale.

Lunch with family ,absolutely fantastic , good cooking , tasty ,good looking ,the putting was amazing ! Must!!!

Good for sports and a good drinks selection. However, all 3 staff members unmotivated and miserable, not a smile or a bit of helpfulness - one didn't know his way around the menu, the fridge or the till, one on break but still wondering round with a lanyard on and rude when anyone asked her anything, the other was slamming food down on tables. No Sunday roast after 5pm? Vinegar soaked watermelon shouldn't be on any menu.

I bought by family here, staying over night at a nearby hotel, we all really enjoyed our meal, with my steak being perfectly cooked (I like rare steaks). The atmosphere is nice and the bar staff are very friendly.

A good example is to be found at The Old Swan, where Antonio, our Italian barman/server and one-person front-of-house demonstrated hospitality skills sometimes lacking from similar establishments. Would recommend the fish cakes.

This is a usual spot for me and my mum and we love coming here, staff are always really friendly and the food is satisfying. The place is nice and relaxed and central to Notting hill, only addition I would ask for is loaded fries but otherwise a great place!
