A nicely decorated and chilled place. The lady on the till was very friendly. Definitely somewhere to go for drink in between shopping.

Heavenly milkshakes! Enough calories to make you blind, but absolutely wonderful as an occasional treat!

On a damp March Saturday, stopped at this place and picked up a hot chocolate, the staff were friendly and helpful, but more importantly the drink was lovely

This is the third Shaken Cow that I have visited and I think the product is great. I love the different flavours of hot chocolate. This café is the biggest of the 3 with a little more seating. The staff are just as welcoming. The only down side is that you may have to wait for service during busy periods in the day as it is very popular with children and teens.

We had a trip out to Berko today and the kids wanted a Milkshake and as if by magic we were walking past the Shaken Cow. My kids loved the huge choice and I was taken back to my childhood with the choice of some old favourites as fillings. I see the previous comment mentions being expensive. If you want a cheap one with just chocolate, vanilla or strawberry then go to McDonalds. If you want thick, creamy and loads of sweets and a multitude of flavours then I’d say they are fairly priced. It’s not an everyday drink so I’d say spending a few pennies more is definitely worth it.

Went in here for drinks with the kids after school and it was so busy you couldn't move let alone get a table only two girls behind the counter and they were both lovely but far too much work for them to do on their own both looked really overwhelmed could do with more staff. had to wait nearly 20 minutes for the drinks can't blame the girls though working very hard with a lot of people there. thanked us for our patience and were very kind and polite but maybe this is something management needs to look at??? drinks very expensive too for what they are

I come here regularly with my two kids and I'm always blown away by the level of customer service nothing is too much for any of the girls and they always go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Oh and the milkshakes are delicious too of course!!!

Just happened by this place when walking around Berkhamsted. Extensive menu and incredible shakes. Prices were completely reasonable and the staff were very pleasant. I wish I lived closer as they have a loyalty card. The place was all decorated for Halloween and looked incredible

Had breakfast here as early for meeting, clean and tidy, it was at 8am I did see comments saying they don't serve till 11am so obviously they do now. Food was good and a good price.

We visited Berkhamsted to take a look around the Home & Colonial antique and interiors store. A store over 5 levels with "Black Goo" located on the very top floor. It is a great cafe / coffee house with superb decor and ambiance. We just had afternoon coffee (lattes) and cake, but the afternoon teas looked amazing!! Our coffee's were great and the White Chocolate Biscotti blondie that I had was very good. My latte was £3 and the cake was £3.50 Service was friendly and efficient and it all made for a very enjoyable experience. Would love to visit again one day.

Popped in today for a quick drink. Had to use the garden entrance as the front was locked. Went into the small bar on the right (if looking from High Street). Very dark except in the window table. The carpet is in urgent need of replacement and the missing tiles on the floor at the bar are terrible. Not only an eyesore but painful for anyone with bad feet like me. The drink price was cheap enough, but would I return, probably not. Please consider spending some money on this dingy little side room. The only table offering some light, the one by the window, was being used by the staff.

Due to a closure on the M1 found ourselves here last night for dinner . The Mackerel Starter was two small slivers of fish with a fine chopped salad floating in oil and smelling awful . The Haddock and Chips came for some reason with the chips already salted and were fries rather than chips . The Haddock was similar to something sourced from a Supermarket Deep freeze and was little more than reconstituted rubbish that wouldn’t hold together on a fork . It was abysmal . Service was excellent with a couple of lads from University and the price for two was £103.00 . Wetherspoons next door which we foolishly walked past would have provided better . I almost forgot my sweet course which was Apple Crumble served with the smallest blob of ice cream I have ever seen , it was barely 1cm in radius . The crumble to be fair was nice apart from the paltry portion size . This was our experience last night at Lussmans Berkhamsted and my advice is Wetherspoons next door does this sort of fare better and cheaper next door . We won’t be back .
