Went to sea lounge for a meal with a friend. The dinning room is at the end of a walk way which is very nicely done and runs along the side of the bar. Out side the dinning room is a half finished open air dinning/ drinks area which will be very nice when done. There are no loos in the dinning area so you have to go out of there down the walk way and through the bar. The dinning room is nicely laid out but quite dark. The music is also a heavy beat and way to loud at one pont the waitress turned it down and changed it to a much nicer type however this didn't last not sure if the music is controlled by the bar. The waitress was lovely and attentive but we could have done with out being asked every few minutes if we wonted more drinks. The food was excellent nicely cooked and well presented. Also good value. We were the only people dinning until 5 others appeared who sat very near us they were loud and there was quite alit if swearing. They turned out to be the owners. Which the lady owner was very nice and agreed the music was to loud no one else spoke to us. She did tell the waitress off in front of us for the salt and peppers not being full. We can away saying to each other it wasn't for us and my 3 score is really for the food and the waitress. Shame .

If I could put zero stars I could! I’d book a meal here for my mums birthday and was hoping it would be a lovely experience but I was so wrong. Waited over an hour for starters which were awful and cold! After being in the restaurant for over and hour and a half my partner asked how long the mains would be and the waitress told him to ‘stop moaning’ and the food would be with us soon (after another 20 mins wait). We all ordered steak and it was if a child has cook it and some had to be sent back! We also waited over 20 mins for our drinks at the beginning. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they weren’t in. DO NOT GO THERE!

Disgusted. Awful service, bad attitude, cold food and ripped off considerably. Went for the Sunday Roast sitting. First table there but waited 2 hours 20 mins for our main course, whilst numerous other diners who'd arrived after us had finished their mains, had their tables cleaned, settled up and gone. Two of the four mains were cold. My mum decided to eat her cold meal but I sent mine back and got tutted at by the female who took it (she was the main food server). Some of the veg was inedible as they'd clearly been sat for ages. Dessert menu completely different to what was advertised and all filling puddings, not suitable for a 4 course menu. We asked not to have the desserts as too much but to only have and pay for the 3 courses. The manager agreed and also accepted that the service had been terrible. I went out whilst my mother in law settled up and was horrified to learn once we'd left how much she had been charged. She'd left a £10 tip despite the awful experience and got ripped off an additional £28 for the pleasure. Not only had she been charged the 4 course price which we'd been told we wouldn't, there was also extra charged that was unaccounted for. Of course the receipt wasn't itemised either. Such a lovely thing to do to an 81 year old lady.

All OK but due to circumstances beyond the restaurants control the choices available were limited at that time.

I came to Ramsgate as a tourist. At about noon I went into this pub and asked if their kitchen was open. Outside a sign stated food all day. The very apologetic bartender said sorry, drinks only. Disappointment, because the place looked ok. She directed me towards other establishments near by, so thanks for that.

Very expensive for a very small coffee as cups seem to have got smaller to when I last was there, and not nice to see a team leader passing cups over to customers by the placing hands on the top of the cups rather then the handles , then putting scones out without even washing hands ,can say I will not be returning .

Lovely place. Yeah sure it's a bit dated, but that kind of adds to the faded seaside glamour charm. The owners were lovely, and the fish and chips was exceptional, the best I've had in ages. Great mug of tea as well. Top marks.

The starter was fine, but we all ordered ham egg and chips, when we got it the ham was lovely, but the chips were hard and inedible and the eggs were not cooked properly they was snotty and raw. Any good chef knows how to cook a frying egg,but not this one. Lovely pub and nice staff, but don't order eggs.
