Bar staff friendly but wasn’t in the mood to be listening to chef loud, swearing and acting like the big man while playing pool. Very unprofessional. I’ve worked in hospitality many years and felt so uncomfortable sitting there.

Lovely afternoon/evening with family. 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed and Beth was an amazing hostess. Would definitely recommend.

Great family restaurant, food was amazing and Beth was so warm and welcoming! The only thing I would change if they made their cocktails rather than being on tap but otherwise perfect evening.

No pleasure in giving this review as we dine quite often,Father in Laws Birthday 2 New Faces on the Floor, not well trained, didn't know the difference between a Malt and Blended Whisky or what The Roast was,not the Girls fault of course Turns out, No Sunday Roast Steak Pie was limited portions at 2.30pm, an hour after we got there. When The food finally arrived, Steak Pie was served with Salad ??? Due to Veg running out ??? 2.30pm on a Sunday ??? My Wife said Her Steak Pie wasn't as hot as it should have been, didn't bother to mention it due to the time we already waited Not impressed at all The last time we made a complaint was about 3yr ago after lockdown Such a shame this has happened Today.

Popped in for a bite to eat last year with the mother in law when buying my now fience's ring from Rustic Retro up the road. Took the her, her mum and my dad there today to show them where we went. Food yet again was fantasic, service from Beth and Tilly was first class. I would well recommend popping.

My father and I booked for the restaurant. I had the steak pie and he had the sirloin which he found to be below standard given the price. I was happy with my pie. Value for money. Not the best service but acceptable for a pub dinner. The homemade cheesecake is to die for though….

Absolute little hidden gem, staff were just lovely, room was great & the breakfast was superb. If your ever in the area this is contender total value for money.

Dog friendly in the bar area. Bowls of water provided with out asking. Nice staff. Cheap drinks.we had fajitas, fish, curry and hubters chicken, all were very nice and reasonably priced. Pleasant atmosphere. Outside area if the weather allows. Would return if ever in the area. Try it yourself.

I have stayed here on a few occasions and always had a good experience. Nice room, nice food lovely staff. However on this occasion my room didn’t look as if it had been serviced from last guest, not sure bedding had been changed, floor definitely was not hoovered . Food swimming in oil. I opted for breakfast at 7.30, this is late for me so I opted for the continental and poached eggs. On arriving at 7.30 the continental breakfast was not set up, so no coffee, bread to toast, pastries, yogurts. I waited until 7.40 and still nothing, no idea how much longer it was going to be before I would be served and I had to leave as I had to get into the office for a meeting otherwise of Perth. Really disappointed on this visit. Cups and spoons on hospitality tray had drips of old tea on them and stains.

Brought my daughter out from Perth to go for lunch, waited an hour then asked about where the food was, was told chef was busy with a table of 15 I would of understood this had a waiter came and apologised for the delay but we were completely ignored from the minute we stepped foot in here decided after waiting 1hour 10 mins with my 8 year old that we were leaving no attempt made from the waiter or staff to apologise

Called in to this attractive looking pub after a nice walk locally. Was very disappointed to find NO Cask Ales available in the bar despite these being prominently advertised on two notice boards outside. Surly staff very dismissive with one apprently never having heard of hand pumps and the other quite unconcerned about the misleading signs outside. Suggest trading standards might take a look!

Lovely pub in the village of Scone just outside Perth. It has a great bar, beer garden, restaurant and accommodation for visitors too. Great decor which is fresh and modern due to the building being totally renovated a few years ago. A good ambience, staff are always helpful and friendly, good facilities for those with mobility needs. Good array of drinks, variety of dishes on the menu to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. We visited The Scone Arms last night - we are staying locally for a few days . Myself , my husband and 20 year old daughter were so impressed with the Covid set up - so much effort has gone into making this place Covid secure whilst maintaining a lovely pub feel. The food was fantastic and it was great to see allStaff sticking to the safety guidelines . We have eaten out a few times since restrictions were lifted in England - only two establishments made us feel safe . This was one . I hope your business booms and recovers from lockdown !

Looks like the place has been refurbished since our last visit and the locals seem to warm to the place. Delivered lunch options in a timely and tasty manner. Pretty happy with our choice to visit for a Saturday lunchtime family gathering.

Birthday meal for my 26 year old son.This place was ideal.Good familiar food selection,lasagna,steak,fish n chips,haggis pakoras were lovely.Sauce for steak was a bit delayed,but we’ll excuse them.Service was excellent and friendly.Very tidy place with very clean toilets.Good for all round value and age groups.

was on our way to a chippy in Scone when we seen this Pub/Hotel and decided to try the Food, Best Decision we made. We Had Fish and Chips it was lovely and service was really good staff very friendly so the next day Our Wedding Anniversary we decided to go back and have Steak .On arrival the Waitress wished us happy anniversary no idea how she remembered.Steak was Amazing and we got a Surprise for Dessert photo attached.Would recommend for food and friendly service to anyone .Its is bright Warm in Winter it was bitterly cold outside lovely inside.

The mini bar along with the robes and slippers was a great touch and an added little luxury! Bed was super comfy and room was cosy and warm. We were going for a family meal and both my son and I thought of The Scone Arms. He had been before but I hadn’t. We were all really impressed with the refurbishment which looks like no expense has been spared. The menu was just right for our party of 5 adults and 3 children which includes a vegan, 2 vegetarians and a meat eater. The food was great with really good portion sizes. My daughter had to take some of her risotto home there was so much. The staff were all lovely and we will definitely be back. This local business really deserves to do well

Visited the Scone Arms for 3rd time on 10th October and the service and meal was just awful. To be honest the last two times we have visited the service was pretty poor and food not great, but we wanted to support a local business, but not again.

After a recommendation we phoned and book a table for sat night staff were lovely food was good the restaurant was lovely spotless very busy but you still had your space will difinely be back.happy 1st birthday

We didn’t have a booking for here but we were welcomed with open arms. The receptionist Kayleigh was so accommodating - even rang around laundromats after we enquired. All staff were friendly and efficient, we couldn’t fault them. Great room and we definitely recommend you stay. Thanks to all for a great stay.

The steak was rubbery and not edible, had to get wife to cut up for me. Asked to be cooked further but unfortunately was worst - £21 for this, unacceptable!!!!!!
