A fantastic little boozer, handy for a walk along the Grand Union Canal. Friendly service and extremely well kept cask ales. If you catch the Happy Hour, £4 for a pint is a bargain!

The staff on Saturday evening were so welcoming and friendly. We having recently moved to the area and will definitely be back! Enya, Chloe, Ben were great!

A real hidden gem, unassuming from the outside but a very pleasant pub with an excellent selection of drinks!

My wife and I decided to visit The Saracen's Head for lunch and so glad we did. My wife has a wheat intolerance so you can imagine how pleased we were to know the chef was able to offer gluten free on a variety of choices. We opted for the fish and chips, which was perfection and beautifully presented at such a reasonable price. We will definitely be going back and will be taking some friends along too this time.

Small but brilliant! Christmas Eve , so super busy. Dogs and kids welcome and everyone else all crammed in. High stools for most seating, which was fine. Friendly staff, Christmas chocs on the tables and a decent pint. Loos clean and pleasant , plus provision of all the hygeine products a girl might need in an emergency on a night out, which is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Can’t fault the beer - they have a fantastic selection of draught beers and lagers.

A cracking boozer - warm, friendly, lively - so nice to find a pub that focuses on beer not food. May be a Tring Brewery Tap, 2 of theirs on hand pump + TT Landlord, topped up with out having to ask - always a good sign.

We were very lucky to win a raffle prize for lunch donated by this pub at a charity event. The food was absolutely lovely. The staff were extremely efficient and polite. I will definitely be going here again and have recommended it to my family and friends.

Excellent local pub in Nice small town. Great feature is they do not give you the first out of the pipes after a session so all the drafts are fresh which is good to know. Nice friendly people in there too. Also seem very proud of their real ales.

Very bad place, filthy and toilets are disgusting, foods isn't good and staff and owner are very unfriendly...as foringer there let you know you are not welcome. Avoid of all cost. Many more nice and friendly pubs and restaurants in Kings Langley

This original coaching inn dates from 1619. Unfortunately, up until fairly recently, the decor also appeared to be original! A new landlord has breathed new life into this pub, with a major refurbishment completed in February 2020. The single bar is still very traditionally laid out, to complement the low, beamed ceilings, yet it looks very smart and fresh. Such a shame that this occurred just before the first lockdown. I’m sure that when the world returns to some sort of normality this pub will thrive, as it deserves to!

Been resident in the village for 15 yrs and been jealous of so many other local villages with great pubs. NOW WE have a high calibre contender. Great range of ales and lagers, staff make the place so welcoming, Buzzin atmosphere. Been a long time but boy, worth waiting for.

Visited the pub recently whilst visiting family Just for drinks as the kitchen wasn't open yet Which was a shame. Great selection of drinks at a good price, excellent service and very welcoming.

Group Sunday roast. We’re able to get a table for 7 with plenty of space even with a busy restaurant. All ordered Sunday Roasts which were very good. Would recommend the trio!

What a place & a big hand to the manager as his hand picked staff where nothing but welcoming to us three lads from Northern Ireland, they gave us all the local knowledge we needed to eat out for the four days we where there , they even recommended a barbers to me as I was in need of a hair cut, there modern bar with an older feel was unreal , very well thought out by the owners. Even the Guinness pump had usb charging points as u can see in my pictures , and a somewhat funny a board outside for a husbands crèche lol, Dawn & Katie where really helpful to us and I would like to thank them for there hospitality, there food doesn’t start to next week , we will be able to sample that as we are heading back for another four days. The manger who I think is called Dave was also very helpful to us and I have to say I hope he does well in Kings Langley and he gets the support from the locals, the Guinness was top notch and well poured, some say it doesn’t travel well it’s traveled quite well to the Saracens head. Well done guys keep up the good work and we will see you soon. Top notch.

Had a lovely afternoon in the Saries yesterday. Finally we have a lovely little pub in our village, looks amazing with all the cash now pumped into it. No longer looking sorry and dilapidated. Thanks Pete for doing this for our community in Kings Langley! Ps, £3.40 for a Carlesberg! Can't remember when I last paid so little for a pint!!?! :-D

Long awaited venue, so far so good , friendly atmosphere.

Previously looked and run like a run-down bar on a rough caravan site. Now looking good, beer is kept well and seems to be run with the customer in mind. A huge and welcomed change. Long may it continue.

Old fashioned pub in a good central location in Kings Langley. I visited with friends on a Friday recently and found it friendly and welcoming, with both children and dogs allowed in the bar. I enjoyed a couple of points of Ridgeway beer, brewed nearby in Tring, and was impressed to hear the barmaid reprimand a customer for bad language. We weren't looking to eat there, although I saw no evidence that food was available (Apologies if I am mistaken). A good choice if you are looking for a quiet pint in a traditional pub atmosphere.

My local boozer, when I am working down here. Good friendly atmosphere here. Lovely bar staff, decent locals. I enjoyed more than a few beers here. Sitting in the suntrap outside and watching Langley life go by, or inside and listening to tales of glee or woe from locals covered in paint or cement. A good solid pub. No food, but think that would spoil the ambiance if it started. No doubt I will be back.

We popped in here last night after visiting Harry Potter WB studio tour. It's a great little pub, with very friendly staff. The lady behind the bar was very welcoming, friendly and an all round lovely lady. Highly recommended.

Only popped I for one but because the food looked so good, the beer was great, Stella and Peroni on draft! And the manager and locals were so friendly we stayed all night. Really good pub this and well worth a visit for decent beer and good pub grub.

We came to the pub for a quick pint and ended up spending all night. The manager was a great guy. We had plenty of laughs, got to enjoy a proper English pub atmosphere and reasonable prices.

A nice old pub with reasonable prices and pleasant staff. Worth a visit although the management perhaps need to learn a little about stock control. The manager we met had only been there 1 week and needs to try and turn things around a little. At the end of the weekend there were 3 pumps out of use, an octane had fallen off the wall smashing the only bottle of spiced rum, the peroni had developed an odd taste and the Budweiser had run out. It's disappointing that they no longer do food, but I believe they are working on that. So perhaps time will tell Having said that is a family dog friendly pub which is well worth visit.

This used to be quite a nice pub although a bit dark with the real log fire but they have recently stopped serving food which is a shame as it is now mostly empty.

Used to be a good old fashioned pub. I went in at 08:00pm on a Saturday evening and it was almost empty. Only one beer pump working and that produced a very cloudy pint!!

going down hill fast , was a great pub until recently , opens late, broken windows in door not sure what is happening maybe needs new owners or managers again

Never felt welcomed nor wanted over the past 3 visits. It's a tacky old-world pub with virtually nothing done on the much needed renovations and refurbishment. Maybe with some hard work and design flare it could be improved but I for one shall not find out!

Visited here a couple of times and found the staff really friendly. The food is traditional and really nice, good value for money compared to some of the other pubs around. Well worth a visit.

This is the sort of pub I love, unpretentious and welcoming to all. The price I paid was remarkably good value for 2018 and the beer was in good condition. The barman knew his stuff too. A beautiful, low-ceilinged building, I hope it never changes. I would definitely return.
