Harvester Flamstead in Dacorum

Both our meals came out, at best, luke warm and the salad bar was virtually empty at 8.20pm. We were not impressed and would not return.

Came for an evening meal with my partner, were sat quickly. When the drinks arrived they were flat, was also missing food and when the waitress was told, she checked in the kitchen and it wasn’t made, even though it was on the system, was then told by the kitchen it wouldn’t be made as the kitchen was then closed. My partner ordered a mini brownie with ice cream and the ice cream didn’t come.

Amazing staff! Especially Becky, was lovely to us checking in with us every now and then! However… food was awful!! Unfortunately me and my friend were to awkward to say anything but, Garlic bread was pitta bread raw with no garlic, nachos are awful, calamari was more like chicken nuggets but salad bar wasn’t too bad. Thanks guys!

Becky was so attentive and made the dining experience with 5 children and 2 adults, easy and enjoyable.

Myself & my partner went for lunch hear yesterday 16 april for lunch, have been many times, i had a mixed grill as usual, all was ok till we got back home ( hemel) it was about an hour later when i started to get stomach cramps very badly, i tried about 4 times to go to the loo, * eventualy i managed to throw up & brought all my lunch up, the pain in my lower stomach was incridible, as i say we go there many times with no broblem.but never again. There was obviously some sort of hygiene issue, so will not chance hear again

I had never visited a Harvester before but was aware of the type of food that is served etc. There were 3 of us and we all opted out of having a starter and just ordered a main meal each. I had the southern barbecue crunch chicken burger with chips, whilst the other two mains were the beef barbacoa tacos and the chicken tikka flatbread. The chicken burger was a sloppy mess, more sauce than anything else, it was hard to eat and didn't really taste very nice, the chips however were delicious, the price of £18 was I feel too much for a basic burger. The beef tacos were so small, think appetiser size, we couldn't believe what you got for the price, at a push it was 2 mouthfuls per taco, although according to my friend they tasted nice there just wasn't enough of them. The chicken tikka flatbread went down a treat but again portion size was small. The salad bar was ok, what was off putting was other customers picking up items from the salad bar (incl. small children) and then putting them back down again, not particularly hygienic but not sure what can be done about that. The service was fantastic, the female server was quick, happy and polite couldn't have asked for better customer service. The restaurant was really clean including the loos and there is plenty of parking spaces.

The food was very good and served well, the staff there are amazing, most specifically the lady that has served me and my family, certain her name was Julia, she was so sweet and welcoming and provided an excellent service! 100% recommend this place, will be coming back!!

Tom is a great waiter and a great person as a whole. His service is amazing and has great knowledge of the menu and is very convincing. The meal was great, and I have no regrets coming here :)

If I'm being honest some of the glasses were a bit dirty, but other then that the food was amazing and the service was good. Atmosphere was alright but we did come in on a busy day.

Our waitress was called Chrissy. She was extremely professional in terms of providing a service and representing the Harvester brand. However her major strengths and those that separate her from other waiting staff that we have experienced is her friendly and warm manner, her knowledge of the restaurants products, her appropriate sense of humour and cheerful demeanour. She went the extra mile and made our time in the restaurant very enjoyable.

Went into Harvester Flamstead on Saturday evening for a bite to eat with family. The food was really good. Great value for money. It was busy but the service we received from Becky was outstanding. She was friendly, conscientious and such a joy.

We went today for a post-Mother's Day celebration. This was the best Harvester we've been to. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything went great. They accommodated my and my son's requests, for a more relaxed lunch out. Everyone was great, especially Priscilla who waited for our table. She was polite, friendly and understanding with my son's specific requests, which my husband and I appreciate. We are definitely coming back. :)

Nice experience, tasty food. Only thing i would say is the waitress made us feel rushed when ordering, and we also said no to kids dessert two times but she insisted on giving him a ice lolly because it came with the meal. Would have preferred our decision to be respected, so this was a let down.

Great variety of food, plenty to choose from and amazing new food on the menu. Always offers a great salad which is constantly refilled. Service is always great and always welcoming. The Apple crumble sundae was also amazing 😋 and my child always loves to have the build your own sundae.

The recent refurbishment has improved the exterior and interior of this Harvester. Access to the car park has also been improved by resurfacing, which has removed the many unsightly and hazardous potholes. But the icing on the cake - Chrissy and Kelly are back !! They make their jobs look easy, but the outstanding service and customer care they provide are born of years of experience. They are a real asset to Harvester. Chrissy served us today and - as always - made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

Plenty of parking available, very friendly staff , they managed to get us seated half an hour earlier than our booking time . Nice service , lovely food , good atmosphere. Will definitely return despite it being a 30 mile drive from home.

Your average harvester menu these days, the food isn't great but it's certainly a supply choice not a chef or preparation thing. Bland food but staff are friendly and welcoming with good service.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere… thank you Becky for taking care of us… nothing was too much to ask for.

I arrived just after 16.00 and the restaurant was busy so I was offered a bar area table, so far so good given it is Mothers Day weekend. It started to go downhill then as half the tables were still dirty with plates etc after customers had left. I ordered food at 16.15 and had to chase after waiting 25 minutes. The baked mushrooms were oily and the mayo was more like milk than cream in texture. After the starter I then waited another 15 minutes to be told they had now run out of the main meal I had ordered 45 minutes earlier. I was initially offered a swap only because the waitress said a refund was not possible. I eventually got a full refund after two requests to speak to a manager who also tried to explain that due to their system, when ordering food there is no guarantee they will have what they accepted to provide by the time it is supposed to be served. A hour of my life truly wasted!

Thete 4 of us use the facility regularly, we were there Thursday 27th March. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. The staff are first class and deliver a fantastic service. Our server was Chrissy, very polite and helpful.

Salad bar bare and unappetising. Burger and ribs were both dry. When we let the server know we were offered the BBQ sauce on the table. Refillable drinks flat and low syrup ratio. £50 for two adults felt expensive for the quality of service and food.

The food was to be as expected from a Harvester, but the real star was our Server Becky who was a delight. We didn't have to wait long for any service or drinks and Becky was polite, friendly and attentive and a real asset to the Flamstead restaurant!

Chrissy and Kelly are back!! This was the first time we had been since the refurbishment and I must say that it looks much better than it did. When we were seated we thought that the lady who seated us would be our waitress but then Chrissy appeared. We thought that both her and Kelly had left. As regulars, we have known Chrissy and Kelly for a long time now and it was good to see Chrissy again. The menu has been updated and Chrissy kindly guided me through it as I forgot my glasses (thank you Chrissy) and some dishes sounded nice while others were not to our taste. We made our choices and after making sure we had everything we needed, Chrissy left. There was no rush to decide and she advised us on her recommendations and I went with that. I'm glad because I enjoyed it. Our food was brought to us by Kelly, another nice surprise. Kelly also made sure that we were okay and didn't need or want anything else before she left. The food was very nice and well cooked although it maybe a little on the pricey side. Summary: We will visit again as Chrissy and Kelly always bring a cheer to the day and the food appeared to be better than it was before the refurbishment and now it all looks new and more inviting the atmosphere is better too.

It gives my wife and I great pleasure to write about Arlana as she is one of Flamstead Harvester's gems. Arlana's natural warmth, sunny disposition and attentiveness make visiting Harvester a lovely experience; it is clear that she enjoys making others feel welcome. Also, it is no wonder she is a role model for training other members of staff as she radiates positivity, patience and showcases exceptional hospitality. In a nutshell, Arlana is a fantastic asset to Harvester.

Oscar served me tonight and he was great. So helpful & calm & helped me pick something to eat as I couldn’t decide and took time to serve me with a smile. Food arrived quickly & he made my visit much more enjoyable. Thanks Oscar!
