The Salmon Tail in Stratford-on-Avon

Before we were in Stratford I looked up a couple of pubs/eateries and booked them prior to going. I had actually looked up the Salmon tail and the Tripadviser reviews looked promising so having a stroll round Stratford one evening we found ourselves outside the S.T. and decided to call in for a drink!!! As we walked through the car park to the rear of the pub this fear of foreboding and trepidation swept over me and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, and the closer I got the worse it got but we went inside anyway hoping to be totally wrong and end up being pleasantly surprised. I think we were in there for at least forty seconds before we did an about turn . I re -checked the Tripadviser reviews on returning home to find those reviews are at least a year old. All I will say is if your visiting Stratford upon Avon for the first time and you are thinking of paying a visit to the Salmon tail. {like we did}........ THEN DON'T!

This is our local pub, recently took over by new management. As it had lost its way by previous management it is not used as much as it should be. The staff at the Salmon Tail are walm, welcoming and extremely polite. The pub itself is very cosy,and finished to a high standard. We had Sunday roast and pudding and it was beautiful, absolutely no faults. The service time was excellent! Would highy recommend as we had a very enjoyable meal! Will certainly be going again!

This is the second time that I have been to the Salmon Tail for the Thai food. The first time we eat in and the second time a takeout. The food is excellent... in taste and in quantity, and is extremely good value for money The service is very friendly.. that you Emmanuelle. We will be back on our next visit to Stratford. I highly recommend.

This is our local pub that has recently been taken over by new management. Unfortunately it had lost it's way a bit by previous management and is not used as much as it should be/ used to be, some years ago. I'm hoping this will all change now, because it's food is fantastic and it's a nice, spacious space to eat or just go for a drink in. We have had several Thai takeaways from here which have been freshly cooked and delicious, so we decided to go for Sunday lunch, as we want to support our local pub. Sunday lunch is a traditional British affair, with a choice of 3 meats with all the accompaniments and a vegetarian option (which was splendid!). It was perfectly cooked, with generous portions, all very reasonably priced. We will definitely be making frequent returns for more!

Some friends recommended The Salmon Tail to us since its been taken over once again. We went for a drink and ordered a takeaway with a a selection of dishes, Very impressed. Its worth visiting and we hope the new management receive local support

Great to see this place open and serving Thai food. Ate in the bar and the food was really good. Vegetarian food was very tasty so will go back.

The Salmon Tail Stratford-upon-Avon Review of People NOT restaurant 727297202 We visited the Salmon Tail on 13th November 2019. Unfortunately the restaurant was not yet open, being refurbished. However the management were extremely helpful. We stopped for a drink which was excellent, and the surroundings were very clean, attractive and the toilets were also spotless. We had tried to check in to a local B&B and found we were 2 hours early. The lady in the Salmon Tail had no hesitation in offering to look after our bags for us while we went into Stratford. Although we were unable to try the restaurant, I am confidant that the new owners will get it up and running soon, and certainly seem made of the right stuff to make a success of their new venture. Good luck to them.

We visited The Salmon Tail for a meal in June. The pub has new management in place, so it is to soon to be too critical. The staff were welcoming & friendly, & the pub has plenty of seating , both indoor & outdoors. The beer selection was disappointing, as there was no creamflow bitter & the real ales were all light ales. There is a good selection of other drinks, from lagers, spirits to soft drinks. The menu has a good selection, but we found the food average, & expensive for what we ordered. The pub has great potential, & we will visit again when we are in Stratford next.

I really love this place, nice surroundings, good bar staff. Pop in occasionally for a quick pint with my dad. But.. Such a shame the Ale is poorly kept. Often cloudy, often off. They should focus on local beer, and make sure its kept well. 3 beers on offer last time i went in. Doombar, Mad goose and Hooky. You are better off keeping just one beer really well not 3 poorly. Purity Mad Goose is by far the best beer and hardly ever on...shame If the beer was better I would go there all the time but find I'm drawn back in to town to find a decent drink.

Came here on a quiet Sunday afternoon, ordered a few drinks and took about 10 minutes to get to us, we then ordered food and it took half an hour to then get to us. One of the bar man was new and he was nice and did a good job with what he had. The other bar man wasn't that good, we ordered the chicken goujons and it says on the menu it comes with bbq sauce, 'COMES WITH' , he asked us if we wanted any other sauces so we asked for ketchup and still no bbq sauce so we then asked for it and he said ' well I did just ask if you wanted any sauces'. After half an hour of waiting we couldn't believe the cheek of it. Won't be coming again.

We came here as a family days before Xmas. For many years the Salmon was always my local but I recently lost touch wit it. We sat in the front bar, great log effect gas fire burning away gave the pub a great warm atmosphere. The beers is always quality and the staff were spot on It’s just a great pub.

We arrived at the Salmon Tail looking forward to some good home cooking, It took the barman 20 minutes to find the menu, only then did we realize he was the only one on duty, how was he going to cook our meal and serve drinks at two bars, he was very polite and said it was no problem, we declined,

We visited this place on a Saturday evening and it was surprisingly quiet, a blessed relief from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town. We had visited the pub’s website to look at the menu but were surprised to be given a completely different menu. We soon found out that the place is under new management so it’s in a transitional phase. The choice was more limited than we expected: there were no burgers or steaks. We had two sharing starters (dirty fries and mozzarella sticks) and both chose 10oz gammon as a main course. Unusually all the food arrived at once, and this seemed to be a misunderstanding on behalf of the Eastern European barman. Despite this, the food was well presented and of good quality. The gammon was tender, moist and not overly salty. It was accompanied by homemade slaw, triple cooked chunky chips, garden peas and a side salad. No egg or pineapple was included with the gammon: why? Anyway, we polished off the lot, helped by a pint of Mad Goose ale, so it was a good meal and I’d recommend giving The Salmon Tail a try!

Neat suburban corner pub with tasty food. Visited on a Monday night so was pretty quiet. Reasonably priced.

Great pub with a very pleasant atmosphere, the barmaid (not sure if that’s the correct term these days) was lovely, chatty, knowledgeable and prompt. Always good to see locals and tourists using a place it shows a good all round appeal. The food was well presented and tasted excellent. The Mad Goose pale ale was outstanding, try it! All in all, after a bad experience at another establishment the night before, this place restored my faith in good old British pub food and drink.

Popped in today for a drink and some lunch with my family. I can honestly say that from the moment we stepped foot inside we had nothing but a great experience! Great menu, food was cooked beautifully! And the staff were wonderful and extremely nice to my 7 year old son which always makes me happy! Would recommend this family friendly pub highly!

Lovely publicans .. very welcoming and also nice atmosphere .. parking too which is a bonus for our town ... and the food is well priced,well presented and delicious .

I called in for a much needed G and T on my walk back into town, after an evening at the races during the heat wave.I was served by a very pleasant couple,and enjoyed my drink in their lovely outdoor seating area.

Don't judge this place from the outside (although the appearance is by no means bad) just step inside and enjoy! This is a good, honest place serving excellent ales, a good selection of wine, and traditional pub food but with a twist at sensible prices and with quality ingredients. It’s off the tourist trail just 5 to 10 minutes walk outside the town centre on the Evesham Road but well worth it. The staff are very welcoming and the place is smart, comfortable and spotless. We were in Stratford-Upon-Avon for a few days and after trying some disappointing rip-off places in the town centre we were very happy to have found the Salmon Tail.

Went into the Salmon Tail for the first time many years and was pleasantly surprised. Very different to the place I remember, a great atmosphere with comfortable seating and a surprisingly good menu. Food very sensibly priced and served with some nice touches. If you've been to this place in the past and have a less than positive opinion, give it another try, I think you'll be surprised too.

A great selection of food. Fantastic quality of food too. My husband and I ordered 2 different burgers. Both were delicious. Chips were devine and coleslaw was amazing!! Would have loved to have tried the desserts. If we ever return to the area then this would definitely be on our list to revisit. Thanks so much

My partner and I were looking for a place to stop and grab a bite to eat after a long drive. We decided to try the salmon tail as it had great parking facilities.

Really good, broad menu with lots of classics. Expected typical pub food when I saw the prices but received really really good gastro level food & service. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a quiet pub to have a decent drink and a nice meal then the Salmon Tail is worth a visit. Found it off trip advisor from other members feedback and we were not disappointed. Clean, quiet, spacious with a good choice f beers, local and common, good menu, which is cooked to order, served hot and in an acceptable time, tasty and ample.

Visited for the first time following a recommendation. Took the family and the in laws along and had a really enjoyable experience. The staff were extremely welcoming and very attentive.

Although being a local in Stratford I have been here for a long while. A friend suggested a bite to eat here and so pleased I agreed.

I live in the area and decided to meet friends for food at the salmon tail and I'm so glad I did... I had the most amazing burger, not only was it very tasty and cooked to perfection but it was such good value for money... The coleslaw was heaven and the chips were the best I've ever tasted... The atmosphere was so relaxed and staff were so friendly and attentive, felt like they couldn't do enough for me, will most definitely be visiting regularly now I've discovered this gem...

From where we were staying walked to this pub for a meal. A little apprehensive about the lack of people (it is Monday however) ordered the lasagna and it was delicious. It came with garlic bread, salad and coleslaw, we ordered a bowl of chips too which we really didn't need but they were yum too. Would recommend this pub without hesitation. The man serving was friendly too.

Keep going back for a steak soooooo good...had to write review as tonight's was exceptional! Great pub and atmosphere food is fantastic and polite helpful staff.

We popped into this pub yesterday lunch after a walk around the town, the pub had lovely Decor and a great selection of drinks and food, we had a selection of their small plates which were delicious. The table next to us ordered the burgers and wow they looked amazing, I would defiantly return and I would defiantly recommend this pub.

We were camping at the race course and found this gem after a 15 min walk. Super friendly and helpful, charging our phones 4 us and hooking us up to watch the footie on ipad. Plenty of food choices on menu, we had mixture of roast dinners, gourmet burgers, fishcakes and hunters chicken with chorizo. All well presented and delicious. If camping in area again would go back in a shot!

What can i say. Great food,great service and what a lovely pub. We were a party of 5 adults and 1 child and everyone enjoyed there food and the service was probably the best you'll get in Stratford on Avon.

I'm writing this review for my brother has he doesn't use trip advisor but felt the Salmon Tail deserved recognition for great service and food.He visited the Salmon with friends for lunch and said the American burger was fabulous.... gourmet chips, salad and Home made coleslaw was amazing.The service was spot on, great pint of Guinness and fantastic red Malbec wine.He hasn't been to the pub for a while despite living close Guys, we WILL BE BACK very soon

My wife, 2 sisters and their husbands came down for a visit. Having popped into this pubon a couple of times thought I would give it a try. Very pleased to have done so, great food , helpful staff who changed the menu to whatever we wanted. Good food, good service, and very reasonable price.We will go back.

We where in Stratford on business and we had a hour to kill so we called in at the salmon tail for lunch it was a nice place the food was very good we just had sandwiches but they where tasty and well presented will certainly return if in area

The Salmon Tail, is a lovely pub in stratford, friendly staff, ( WHO KNOWS WHAT Y~OU LIKE TO DRINK WITHOUT ASKING ) and lovely food, i am a coeliac and they always go out of there way to cater for me, their nacho's are the best in town. I'm a bit of a red wine drinker and sometime find some pubs stock basics, no not the salmon tail my favourite malbec is served there and my husband loves the moretti, plus they put on great entertainment nights. but the biggest plus is i can take my gorgeous cockapoo dog in and we are all made welcome, your missing a treat if you don't go hear.

We called in at The Salmon Tail one evening last week whilst on a short break in Stratford. We were staying at a nearby B&B and saw this pub. It is a bit of a hidden gem. From the outside it looks quite ordinary but I have to say that the food and drink here is pretty good considering it is essentially a pub and not a specialist restaurant. I enjoyed the gourmet burger whilst my better half enjoyed her steak.The pub is probably a ten minute walk from outside Stratford town centre on Evesham Road. If you are staying over that side of town then I would recommend a visit to The Salmon Tail. It is not too expensive and the service was good too.

A big thank you to Steve and his team for making a group of 18 of us most welcome at the Salmon Tail. I emailed to book a table a few days before the day and he was able to accommodate for 18 of us. We sent our preorder over to Steve and he sorted it all for us. From start to finish the service and hospitality provided by the Salmon Tail was outstanding.We was all very impressed with the quality and quantity of food for the price. Everyone who ate enjoyed their food and we would all definitely return! Once again, thank you for looking after us and hopefully we will see you next Ladies Day!

Live in the local area, therefore decided to try the pub food. The pud had a great atmosphere, very helpful staff and good food too. I would recommend trying the extensive range of burgers, especially the burger with blue cheese.

We chose this pub for our evening meal because it was recommended by our hotel and it was conveniently situated on our walk into town. The service was great by the friendly staff, food was quickly served and was most enjoyable. We both had burgers, I had lamb and feta with big chunky chips, my husband the beef with pulled pork on top with fries. Both meals were delicious and not overpriced. Good atmosphere with plenty of customers eating, drinking and pub activities going on and music kept to a decent level. Good location not far from town with a 10 minute walk to the centre or to the river. Small car park at the back. Recommended for a good pub meal.

Holy cow, we came across The Salmon tail by accident and it was an amazing meal with superb food, I'm so grateful we came across it. Give the mainstream places in Stratford-upon-Avon a miss...this is the bomb.We were super hungry and thirsty and the bar/waitress offered to take our drink and food order, and can I just say her amazing service left us blown away...attentive, super friendly and respectful. She clearly loves her job and we love that she loves it. Even our two adult children loved watching her work the floor. Awesome. But the food, omg it was fabulous. Hubby and one daughter ordered the roast beef meals (beef cooked to liking), my other daughter ordered the chicken chorizo melt and I had the fish cakes. Every single element was on point. The beef was cooked perfectly, my fish cakes clearly had fresh haddock with an incredible tartare sauce and the chicken melt was perfect. Perfect. Best surprise? The roast meals came with this bacon and cabbage combo that was to die for....see photo of empty bowl. I was sooo impressed the chef came out to tell me his secret recipe and I cannot wait to try it when I get back home. Honestly, the Salmon Tail will not disappoint.

Great pub. The barman/waiter was very welcoming and pleasant, providing sincere service. Burgers are recommended to be washed down with a limited but excellent choice of real ales. Will not disappoint.

Excellent food, great beer and very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived hot,tired and thirsty and were served brilliant lasagne and salad, ice cold water and Purity beers. What more to wish for

This is a good traditional pub with friendly efficient service and an obvious regular local clientele. I didn't have much time but had an excellent scampi and chips plus drink which came to less than £10 in total. It is easy to get to and has a good car park with an outdoor eating area. It was too blowy today to go out! Definitely a find.

We were staying at the nearby Stratford-on-Avon Racecourse campsite and took the 20 minute walk to this lovely pub to watch the Monaco GP.Very friendly bar staff, who put on the TVs for us to watch, comfortable seating inside and out.Only one person was hungry enough to eat, he had the fishcakes and said they were very good.We watched the GP without hassle, discussed it with the very friendly locals who were also watching!Lovely bar/ pool table are suitable for families.

Nice surprise finding the Salmon Tail today. It was very sunny and pleasant inside, the staff were helpful and cheerful, the food delicious, and the overall experience excellent.

My husband, daughter and myself visited the Salmon Tail on Easter Monday evening, and feasted like Kings!! Friendly, courteous and helpful staff, a menu to suit all tastes, very competitively priced, and a relaxed, welcoming ambience made our visit very enjoyable. The food is excellent, beautifully cooked and presented, and nothing is too much trouble - just ask and your wishes will be catered to. I can personally highly recommend the Meatballs to start - so tasty and delicious, and then I had a stunning chicken burger to follow - perfect, tender chicken breast that just melted in the mouth! My husband had the garlic mushrooms and then Gammon and egg to follow, and my daughter had Nachos, followed by steak. All served with chips, peas and salad with the burger, the food looked great, and tasted wonderful. Word of Warning - the portions are VERY generous, and none of us managed to finish everything, so wear roomy clothing! We washed this lovely meal down with a light and refreshing bottle of Prosecco and left feeling extremely satisfied and VERY full! The menu is changing, and I for one can't wait to sample the delights on it! We will definitely visit again.

We visited as a couple early evening and were very impressed with both the food (cooked to order) and the excellent pint of Hooky. Anthony is a really friendly host who goes out of his way to ensure you are well looked after. The pub is a little off the tourist track but all the better for it. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed.

Probably not the best time to visit - as far as I could see we were the only customers. Having said that the meals were really good and I would rate the chips as outstanding - amongst the best I have ever had.All food is cooked fresh so we had a 20 minute wait for the meal but hey-ho it gave me plenty of time to savour a pint of Hooky which was in tip-top condition.With a total bill of £16 for two mains, a pint of beer and a soft drink it was outstanding value.One strange thing - the owner would not take all the tip I offered. This has never happened to me before.

A few of us popped in for the first time in a few years and were very pleasantly surprised with how the pub/restaurant has changed. It has been refurbished to a high standard. We decided to have Lunch and we all had the Sunday Roast which is very nice and clearly all home made. Fantastic Yorkshire puds!! We will be back soon. Keep up the good work.

We recently moved to within walking distance and decided to drop in for their all day breakfast with our baby and two year old at lunch time.We got settled at the table, and asked for a high chair and a menu to be swiftly told there had no hair chairs (although they offer a children's menu) and was also told they aren't serving food until after 5pm.Two questions why offer a breakfast and children's menu if your don't cater for either

Visited on 1st January after a lively night within the town. Met with friends for a sit down meal - needless to say the food was excellent and staff very polite. Situated on the edge of town on the evesham road a 2 minute walk from Stratford town center. Highly recommend a visit, value for money in well kept contempory surroundings.

The Salmon Tail is located off the usual tourist trail in Stratford. The ale here is well kept and the wines are pretty decent. Crisp selection is also impressive. Well worth seeking out, though, because this is the 1 pub in Stratford that always has Hook Norton Hooky on tap permanently.

We decided to pop in for a drink and found a nice cozy table. We were served by a nice chap called Anthony. after a couple of drinks we decided to have a look at the menu and we decided to order a couple of amazing home made burgers. They were fantastic. we had a great evening and will be back very soon. I think we may also try your quiz night out. Thanks

Stratford has a lot of pubs, and a lot of them have a similar vibe and feel - The Salmon Tail is a wonderful little gem hidden just out of the main town centre, and because it is away from the rest of the crowd, it has its own unique personality and vibe.Clean, tidy, comfy and friendlier than a chain pub on a high street - everything is done with a bit of extra class and a smile.A brill afternoon with friends enjoying a quiet drink, with top notch service and a really friendly staff. Definitely going back - maybe for one of the music nights which have really great word of mouth.

Been meaning to try this place out for well over a year and finally got there. Warm, friendly and relaxed is the best way to describe it, bar staff welcoming and attentive and locals willing to speak. Ordered food which I have to say was amazing, freshly cooked and delicious both our plates or should I say our chopping board was cleared fantastic chunky chips! Highly Reccomended

Staff make a business and The Salmon Tail has terrific staff. We went here twice in five days and although not having certain menu items was annoying, the food that was available was decent and the environment was friendly and welcoming.

Came to this pub with my family and what a lovely pub, as soon as we got in we was spoken too by a wonderful barman, (wayne) sat down he took a drinks order and gave us some menus, he was so good with are kids(which they still ask if we can go back). There was alot of choice on the menu to choose from, i had mix grill,my wife had fishcakes, kids had fish finger, chips,beans, food was something eles,cooked perfect, service was great throughout but not over baring, i like to thank you again wayne and the rest of the team again for such a enjoyable time and we will be back to see you all again.

We dropped in to this pub for a drink with a large group before going to the nearby racecourse for an evening meeting. The solo barman struggled to cope with the sudden influx, but managed in the end.There was a rather limited selection of beers on offer, so not a place that I'd have chosen for myself, but a pleasant enough pub overall.

Booked at short notice 4 adults 2 kids and 2 dogs, the whole experience was an absolute pleasure. The barman, sorry forgotten your name was one of the most helpful we have encountered. The food was grand as was the service, (a slight hiccup was sorted in minutes ). The management and their team are a credit. Use this place and be pleasantly surprised, the stark exterior hides a really well a pointed bar and food area. The value of good home coked pub grub doesn't come much better than this. Thanks.

Excellent promotion of different types of gin. Visitors were treated to 3 full size samples from the 5/6 available. A new initiative from this recently refurbished pub. Looking forward to The Cocktails Night on Aug 26th, and the Whisky & Rum Night on Sept 29th.

The staff did everything they could for a big group of sometimes too drunk people and kept everyone safe and happy.

I've been playing live music for the salmon tail for many years. They are fantastic! Friendly, professional staff. The venue is spacious, clean & well designed. A must visit when in and around Stratford-Upon-Avon. Great food selection & a diverse selection of drinks - highly recommended.

The bar staff were very friendly and efficient.The whole pub was clean and tidy with modern furniture and pleasant decor.There was a large number in our group for a School reunion and we were very well catered for.I shall return soon with my family and friends or indeed any occasion.

Advised to book as dinning mid week, thou when we arrived it was pretty quite. Thou as the evening progressed the busyness didn't improve thou we couldn't fault the guys who serviced us with their recommendations & chat. There was disappointment the size of the Brie starter as what payed wasn't worth it & size compared the others eating with us. We all throughly enjoyed our meals & puds. Apart from the starter size I'd say to advise on getting a proper billing systems. But Thank you guys got a lovely evening. We hope to visit again soon.

The Salmon Tail is 10 to 15 minutes walk from the Town Centre but well worth the journey. My Wife and I enjoyed lunch there today Tuesday 31st May. The service was excellent the barman /server was attentive but not overpowering. We were able to easily open a tab and pay one bill when we had finished, much more convenient. The main course and pudding were lovely particularly the chips crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We will definitely be returning. The price was very reasonable, cheap by Stratford-upon-Avon standards.

Visited today for lunch and we were very impressed. The pub has been recently refurbished and its lovely! There is a garden with plenty of tables but it was a little chilly today so we ate inside. The food was very good - we had nachos and then the fish cakes that were recommended to us. They were delicious! The service is excellent - nothing was too much trouble and the barman made sure we had everything we needed. It was certainly value for money too. Would highly recommend as it's just a stones throw from Stratford, has a carpark and is much friendlier than the busy tourist pubs in the centre of Stratford. Visited the Salmon Tail for Saturday lunch with friends, which proved to be an excellent choice. We all had the fishcakes which were delicious, beautifully presented and piping hot. Great service by Anthony who looked after us very well - attentive, but not overbearing. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Although not extensive, the menu offers a good choice of home cooked food at very reasonable prices. The recently refurbished outside seating area is lovely, but just a little too chilly the day we visited. We will definitely be back and have no hesitation in recommending The Salmon Tail.

My husband and I had a meal there tonight,we were told by the man behind the bar it is all home cooked food he told us what meals he would recommend,we choose the lasagne and garlic bread,we found it very filling and tasty,the bar man was very attentive, asking us if everything was alright, asking if we needed more drinks,the pub was clean and well looked after,would eat there again.

Had an evening meal, lovely food, very hospital people and good atmosphere. Will definitely come back

I recently frequented the Salmon Tail for a quick bite to eat and found the food to be of good quality, very reasonable and the staff very friendly, It was exactly what I was looking for and found the whole experience very pleasurable.

Had a fab evening at The Salmon Tail. Out with family and friends for birthday celebrations. Great Food, Fab Staff, Lovely Atmosphere and the food was yummy, definitely get value for money. Nothing was to much trouble. Will visit again.

We recently enjoyed a great meal and a few pints at the Salmon Tail after a long day of travel. The food was honest and good quality. I had the fishcakes special, as recommended by the manager, which were particularly tasty. Others in the group had the lasagne, soup of the day, gourmet hotdog and crumbed brie. All the dishes, with the exception of the soup, were great. Don't get me wrong the soup wasn't bad, it just seemed to be half way between a chunky vegetable broth and a creamy vegetable soup.Best of all were the staff - they were amazing. The waitress and the manager took the time to chat with us and provided some of the best service I've seen in a pub. All in all - a great way to finish off a busy day.

Friendly service, plenty of choice on the menu and at the bar. Large portions for great price. I'll be back when my brilliant wife and friends take me out again!

We had a great meal with a large group and many restaurants could learn from this place. Food spot on and great portions. Service speedy and with a laugh. It was that good we here again for another meal. Stratford is a hard place to find value for money and quality in same place. We found this hidden gem its worth a visit

We visited The Salmon Tail on Sunday and chose the Roast which we were told this week was Roast Beef. Freshly cooked and delicious. Fresh vegetables, tasty roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. One of the best roasts I've had in a very long time. Great value and we will be definitely be returning. The desserts sounded amazing but we really were too full to be tempted.

Have been a local for many years my wife and I thought we would go for Sunday lunch as we hadn't been since the refurbishment we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was and food was relay good we had roast beef and all trimmings also the sweet we had was delicious the price was very good and the service was second to none lovely couple
