BEWARE OF PARKING TICKET!!! i popped in and connected my car for charging. I have since received a fine. Really poor signage here to warn drivers that there are park costs. Really terrible way to treat customers.

The worst burger I've eaten in my entire life. I spent £25 for a double stack burger with curly fries, and clucking hot stack meal . We were hungry and struggled to finish the meals.

My wife and I eat here fairly regularly and I have to say that recently the quality of the food has really improved. Staff are friendly and welcoming and if you want want fair food and drink at good value prices, The Running Horse is the place

the food was lovely and staff were so accommodating with everything. the family loved the peaceful atmosphere, drinks were nice and wasnt too expensive, definitely going again.

Lovely food brilliance I tell you ! Loved every bite and every minute and I loved Ed he’s a good looking lad his girlfriend a very lucky lady !!!

Took several family members for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal and was complimentary. I’m told they do they do a very nice Sauvignon Blanc. Very polished service from a gentleman named Ed. Great value too, ideal for casual family dining.

Nice festive menu the very tasty haloumi burger was great with a nice portion of chips . There are some other nice tasty festive options just haven’t got round to them yet.

Came out with a few mates and had a right out laugh, the service provided by the staff at the runner was amazing also where they were letting us know about shot offers and cocktails deals so we had even cheaper drinks, will be back again with a few more mates next time and also brill the family down at some point

Walked in and under the impression we was going to get the kids meal for a pound after paying for a full price adult meal to then be told when I was ordering that the kids didn’t eat for a pound and it had additional cost to any side and drinks that you may like to add. To then Continue my experience here to rude bar staff which is a young brown hair boy who stuffs his face with pork scratchings whilst his leg if lent against the wall very rude and unprofessional if you ask me.staff who huffed and puffed at my questions about my order, to then I proceeded to sit at my table for my food to come it then arrived cold burnt and tasteless in which I did not enjoy my experience here hence the reason for zero stars do not come here ever.

Was greeted by a great member of staff (Charlie) who was able to answer questions as well as give us a lot of information about drinks. Also was very helpful in reminding us about the car registration. Look forward to coming back soon

I had lunch today with my husband, daughter and Granddaughter. There were only two members of staff running the busy bar and restaurant service, Charlie and I think her name was Becky - both doing an amazing job under very stressful circumstances. The food was ok, not hot and took a long time to arrive. The refurbishment is really good but with a bit more effort it could bring this pub to a much higher standard.

When we entered this sizzles there was a musty smell and I should have let that be a clue of things to come... We picked our table and looked at the menu which I found not too impressive. There was a deal but from a limited menu. When the food arrived the portion for price were not worth it apart from choosing from the limited menu. We ordered cocktail which were not stirred & not made with care. I ordered a burger and she seemed to not know that it came with a drink no receipt was given The tables were cleaned by leaving salt on the top of one table and another had a left over chip by the chair leg and an empty child's juice bottle and serviette was seated on the window not too far from the chip. Also when our food arrived we had ordered additional onion rings which look non too healthy but tasted just ok. The burger I ordered was tasteless and was suppose to come with sauce but non was present.. The hunters chicken well let's say we have had better. The staff or lack of the were friendly enough but other diners were having problems with their orders.

Good value for money Staff could be happier and tables cleaner. Toilets could also do with a good clean and airfreshern.

Refurb is very nice. Come in for lunch couple of times a month and it’s most definitely an improvement. Food is nice, don’t think I’ve had a bad lunch. All reasonably priced. Staff always friendly and welcoming

This place is good. It is not great but it is nice. I sometimes might go here. It is a bit dry so make sure you get a drink. J20 is recommended.

The drinks was lovely and the staff were brilliant. the regulars make the pub feel like a home. the time i waited at the bar for felt like nothing. they got to me as quick as they could with a smile on their face.

Visited on a Saturday evening after a hectic day, what a great place, staff were friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable, we opted for the House sharing platter and mixed grill skillets everything was well cooked and of good quality, we will certainly be back. If you are wheelchair bound there is plenty of access inside and out

This establishment had a reputation for poor service and poor food. I have found this on several occasions . Also the bar regularly runs out of beer. On my last occasion, I sent my meal back as the beef was of poor quality and cold. My partner and father had finished their meals when my replacement eventually arrived! Needless to say I said it was too late. I received no apology and just disgruntled comments . Stay well clear!

The food took an hour and there were only four of us ,the lasagne tasted just like soap after all four of us trying it we all agreed that it was disgusting and the person that ordered it didn't eat anymore after the first bite.after complaining the waiter/bar staff didn't once apologise. we also discovered lots of gum underneath the table . My peas were still a little frozen,sausages were overcooked and we ordered 3 slices of bread but only got two.they didn't have half the food we wanted and was glad they didn't have enough lasagne. the men just across the room we shouting and swearing very loudly although i don't think there's much they can do about that.but apart from all that the dessert was really nice.

Came for breakfast only to find the pub closed. It opens at 11 o’clock. While that might be breakfast time to staff in the pub or the sizzling franchise, it most certainly isn’t to anyone else, according to Mail on-line breakfast should be at 7am, with lunch at 12.30. So who comes for breakfast at 11 ?

We were four adults and two children on Sunday afternoon. Ordered food at the bar but was a very long time before it was brought to the table. It appeared that on the day we visited they only had two staff members on. The waitress did apologise and said that they'd just phoned for another person to come in and help as they weren't usually that busy. Will definitely go back as the food was very good and plentiful.

Started suprised that there was a £1.00 parking charge for two hours so went to check the food availability before I paid. Place was messy, no menus at most tables and chairs rearranged not enough for 2 of us to sit down. No one serving for quite a while then when I ordered they tried to charge .99p for bbq sauce. I declined to pay to park and extra for sauce and had a take away instead. Gone very downhill since last visit.
