The Royal Victoria Pavilion in Thanet

Located right on the beach in Ramsgate, this is a lovely wetherspoons. With table service and also service via the app. Food comes out quickly, is hot and tastes amazing The venue is already Covid secure with track and trace already in place. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable not only about the products and food but also about the special offers available. 10/10 definitely worth a visit

Huge building , outside seating is a must if the weather is good. Right on the beach , great views of the sea, harbour and town.

The best Weatherspoons there is in my view. It overlooks the sea and on a sunny day sitting out on the balcony is just great. Food is always prompt and hot. Waitress staff are polite and friendly.

I love this place! Great service and welcoming outdoor balcony directly overlooking the sea. Fish and Chips meal deal was a bit short of chips!

A regular stop here. Upstairs is great for views...evening in the rain. Food, drink and service all great.

Very fast table service on the app whilst we did the pub quiz. Was a Wednesday night and loads of table space; easily 15 teams on the quiz and a good selection of questions.

One of the more expensive Wetherspoons around but the quality and location is good. No free parking anywhere around and the paid for parking spots are super expensive

Ok so it's a spoons... Get over that and you could make this place a regular pit stop! Amazing value + excellent selection on the drinks, super fast and efficient service on the floor... Great location by the beach with the bonus of a rooftop sundeck upstairs. All together a great package. Lacks style and sophistication but more than makes up for it elsewhere! Fish n chips and the curries are best. All day breakfast is alright. Some room for improvement on the menu. But still, good selection and decent prices. Kid friendly in here but it's so big you should have no trouble finding a quiet spot - enjoy !

Fantastic building with lots of local history on the walls, ineffective staff with little or no knowledge of the products they sell, poor quality beers, and cheap. Don't eat outside, you'll be terrorised by seagulls. Nice pizza and curry. Otherwise, the food is poor quality, anything you want as long as it's deep fried or microwaved, then left to dry out under a lamp for 10 minutes. And somewhat overpriced for what you get!

Marked down as 'diet coke' is on the regular menu but was told it hadnt been there for a while. No other diet drinks available. Busy cos of half-term so couldnt get a window seat. Will be back tho. Food always pleasant

The biggest and best Wetherspoons. Great in the summer as you can sit on the huge decking area and look at the sea whilst the sun shines.

The service and food were excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. The place was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. The terrace was magnificent and the service was fast. The pub was spacious ,(being the largest), warm, and comfortable, with a lot of history and character. The food and drinks were good quality and value, and the staff were helpful and polite. Impressive

A large, historic building which has been a casino but is now a public house and restaurant. This grandiose building is situated beside the Ramsgate beach and Royal harbour. There are plenty of tables Indoors, both downstairs and on the upper and an indoor balcony. Or you might choose to eat al fresco on the two outer balconies. One faces the town, whilst the other overlooks the seafront and harbour. There is a large array of choices on the menu. Including vegetarian and vegan meals and puddings. Meals are served all day from breakfast to dinner. Children's menus and small dishes are also available. The food was of a very high standard and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

It's a Spoons. Food was ok, but it wasn't expensive. Service was ok, but you do it all on the app, atmosphere was ok. The building is lovely and the view out to sea makes up for any shortcomings.

We stayed in Ramsgate over the New Year and went several times for food and drinks. On every occasion the food was good, service was quick and the staff were friendly. It's not gourmet food but it's honest and reasonably priced and there was always a buzzing atmosphere there.

Everything was good apart from the portion of chips 🍟 could be better

Staff seem unhappy and coffee machines weren't monitored so they all ran out around the same time

Restaurant is in a lovely location. However the menu is smaller than most other weatherspoons and they only offer a selection of dishes, than their other restaurants offer, so don't ask for grilled steak or simple chicken burger (we were told this decision was made by management). I have also noticed that the prices are higher at this pub than most of their other pubs. However if is an experience and worth a visit.

Usual Wetherspoons' menue but when sitting on the outside deck, which is directly overlooking Ramsgate beach, you feel as if you're sitting on an ocean cruiser...brilliant.

Wetherspoons is always cheap & cheerful, you get what you pay for but a lovely place in the summertime with great views of the harbour.

I heard it's the biggest spoon in the UK, I don't know if it's true, but for Wetherspoons it's great. Especially in the summer months on the balcony.

Been here a couple of times before and is the grandest looking wetherspoons I've even seen. Most recently found myself in the area needing somewhere to work for a few hours and found them very accommodating for me to sit with a laptop with occasional drinks!

Comfortable place to chill, nice beach views, and very spacious. I just moved here, I've been job hunting, and I've tried all the coffee shops but so far this is my favorite spot to work from.

Ate at the Wetherspoons, busy but ordered through the app. Food came quick as usual. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very large seating area both in restaurant and outside on the balcony. Would definitely recommend

This is the largest Wetherspoons in the UK and it certainly lives up to that. A huge ground floor with an upper terrace looking out over Ramsgate main sands and the sea. Prices have crept up considerably at this venue so not as good value as it once was therefore losing its cheapest pub in Ramsgate crown. Menu offerings have also been pared back. You can't get any grills here such as steak any more. Wetherspoons clearly sets prices according to location, so if you are looking for value head to the Mechanical Elephant another Spoons pub in Margate.

Food not great, hit or miss normaly, picky options are better than meals. Good price drink and always a good amount of people their. Service not to long when ordering through the app

The biggest weatherspoons (debatable) yet one of the smallest kitchens and menus for spoons. The service was ok, nothing special, nothing bad. The food, as always with spoons, it is hit and miss. Today was a miss for me. The tennessee burger was terrible. Came out without the onion rings, greasy bun on the outside (from greasy fingers putting plating up) and it was oh so dry. I had to double check it was beef and not leather 🤣 I'd advise spoons in deal, bigger menu, better food, better service and nicer place.

Beautiful building worth a visit on the beach

It's ok for a Weatherspoons. I promised a friend I'd take him the the biggest weathespoons so I did. Food was enjoyable and the views are lovely. Unfortunately the outside area is mostly for smokers so us non smokers can't really enjoy the lovely view from the balcony.

Not a huge fan of going to Wetherspoons but this is the loveliest Wetherspoons I’ve ever came across! Great views!

We had never been here before, so decided to pop in for a quick drink. We were pleasantly surprised at how big it was and even more so when we saw the terraced area. We ordered using the app, and although we had to wait a while as it was quite busy, the member of staff was very apologetic when she brought our drinks over.

The venue is absolutely stunning, sitting right in the beach with the most gorgeous windows to frame the view, even in the wet and windy day we visited it was just stunning, what looked to me like 1940s architecture I just adore it. Service was amazingly prompt and true weatherspoon style pricing. I will be back to spend some long summer evenings here 👌🏻🤌🏻👌🏻
