Great ambiance and location. Perfect location to enjoy drinks with friends.

Nothing wrongng with the food. There was a charity quiz event being held aswell finished our meal. The compere of this had a microphone and could clearly be heard easily. However she proceeded to say in an unpleasant rude manner to tell people to shut up and be quiet. May have been for charity but that wasn't the way to conduct yourself in your workplace. Spoilt the evening

Staff awful, 3 aggressively grabbed 1 older man! Was screamed at and rudely spoken to by women bar staff, made to feel extremely un welcome and uncomfortable would not recommend !!

I really like the pub especially sitting outside looking out to the sea. I was in the pub yesterday and I pointed out to a member of staff that pigeons were coming in and feeding off the plates near to the balcony door on the first floor. I asked if someone could clear the plates away as this was not very hygienic. She said "they're dirty plates mate". She just shut the balcony door and of course the first person who went out there left it open. We were there for another 30 minutes and when we left the plates were still there. I appreciate that the plates would be washed but I still wouldn't fancy eating my dinner off them!

Beauty ofapub ....but we were sitting outside by the beach ...then told by a teenager manager we could not have 2 small dogs with us ....no one else there as it was so cold ... he begrudgingly reimbursed our drinks ...... common sense should prevail ..... your loss . Drinks poured away ..... money down the drain for you ..... BTW dogs were well behaved on their leashes little white Highland terriers .

The biggest weatherspoons in the UK and it's a Grade-II listed building with its great location on the seafront. With a nice atmosphere, visiting at Christmas. The food is what you'd expect, cheap and cheerful. The building of two floors has a lift, which is great for accessibility, the first weatherspoons I've seen with a lift.

Another fantastic Wetherspoons. Incredible sea views and the staff were all brilliant.

Recently had some renovation added seating on the rooftop fabulous views as panoramic looking over the Town & Sea the other side in Ramsgate Kent As always huge variety of food & drink Whilst prices of course have increased its still amazingly very good value for money Children & dogs welcome On a Sunny day it can be extremely busy along with plenty of noise 😀 Needing to mention very importantly the ladies Toilets were spotless

Friday, March 7th, 2025 Tonight, i had my first experience in drinking in the biggest weatherspoons in the world This pub is immense in size. The atmosphere here is good and the staff are good at jobs There was a good selection of guest real ales on tonight also Keep up the good work all involved with the weatherspoons

Only 1 star for the food and menu because !!! As I'm gluten intolerant, Bread, Pasta, Pizza, and things fried in Batter are off my menu, not leaving a lot for us people with gluten issues, so please put Steak, Gammon and the half Chicken items back on the menu like most of your other venues.

It is a Wetherspoons so many people know what the food is like, standard good pub food, not spectacular but very well priced. On top of that the drinks are cheap. This is the largest Wetherspoons in the world, in the summer it is a must visit on the outside balcony over looking the harbour or sea. Inside this is a lovely historic victorian building On a winter Monday evening it is a relatively quiet but a pleasant visit.

Stopped for a couple of drinks whilst visiting Ramsgate. Very impressive, recently refurbished and huge. Service from the app was good. A fine example of a Wetherspoons and a great location.

Chips were cold and over cooked, everything else was fine. Alot of steps and also no navigation to the toilets. Pretty though.

Good place to eat with friends before a night out. Good value for money and we all agreed the food was pretty damn good especially considering the price point. Fast efficient service.

First time visiting this wetherspoons and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful building and absolutely huge! Staff were fantastic, really welcoming and all giving off a good vibe.

Visited for breakfast while exploring ramsgate. Firstly the place is huge but well presented. We were shocked at how quick the service was , the place was packed, however from placing the order via the app, and getting our orders was easily under 15 minutes.

The best witherspoon in the country. Try if it's not too windy to sit out on the terrace to overlook the sea or a working dockyard.

Visited whilst on a trip to Ramsgate for the day. Impressive looking building overlooking the beach & next to the harbour. Inside it is very spacious, a fair bit of seating though not as much as I would have thought for the size of the building. Toilets typically are upstairs! The views are great & o can imagine the pub is very busy in summer. Managed to get a table downstairs, ordered breakfast through the app & mugs for coffee were with us pretty much straight away. Food wasn't long after. The breakfast wasn't too bad, standard full English with toast. All in all, a great looking pub which I'm sure in the evening is a fab place to drink.

Amazing building right on the harbour and beach. Incredible views, which is saying a lot for a Spoons. Busy Saturday afternoon, but we easily found a table right by the windows, ordered using the app. Drinks arrived in less than five minutes, food just over ten minutes. Can’t complain, it’s basic, but reliable.

Definitely visit again. Superb building in a great setting. Great views overlooking the beach and harbour, from the upper level patio area. Very happy with our chicken wrap with crunchy salad, which the menue seemed to promote over a wide range of the usual choices. Photos / visited 2 January 2025 .

You can't knock the meal and a drink deal. good value for money a great pint of Guinness and a curry for under £15.00. thumbs up 👍

Double classic burger & chips with a pint of abbot & chicken wrap with side salad and orange juice for £18 and a few pennies, next to a nice warm upstairs radiator & overlooking the sea. Can one really complain? Ok, chips not exactly how I like them, but finished every one!

Very busy Saturday afternoon but managed to find a table, ordered food on app and both food and drinks delivered quickly.

A very large Weatherspoons pub on Ramsgate seafront. This pub has two levels, both accessible via a lift. The upper floor extends out to create an outdoor roof terrace overlooking the sea. On my visit I ate the ham and mushroom pizza. This tasted good, but was not as well produced as the Canterbury pub. The pizza dough needed to be stretched a little more. Drinks are cheap and the setting sunny.

After a lovely walk along the seafront we had decided to call in here for lunch on Friday 3rd January. Unfortunately we arrived dead on lunch time about 1.00pm so we had to wait for a table to become available, no problem as the place is huge and not along wait. However once having found a table it needed clearing and cleaning. We waited and waited. We both chose The Ultimate Burger and I went up to the counter to relay our order and a very helpful red headed man took my order which included a bottle of wine. On returning to our table it still hadn’t been cleared probably some 10 minutes later, but as I say they were really busy. Eventually I got up and found a member of staff. Obviously didn’t want to be there, she cleared the table and we asked if it could also be wiped as a large lump of mayonnaise lay on the table but she chose not to do this. I then got up and went and found her, to again ask can she please clean our table, she definitely wasn’t happy but give her due she did come back and wipe our table clean with a face like a smacked bottom. (made to feel bad for asking) Our meal arrived and we really should have returned them, the burgers were cold and not cooked through. I looked around for a member of staff to complain to and to have the meals returned but no one was available and the bar was still really busy so put up with the very disappointing meal but left the restaurant feeling we had definitely wasted our money. The 2* rating and not a 1* is due to the pleasant gentleman behind the bar. I have been to this place several times before and have never had cause for complaint so hopefully this was a one off very disappointing experience.

It’s more expensive than an average Wetherspoons but it’s worth it for the surrounds. Summertime must be an incredible visit as they have a very nice roof terrace with lovely views.

Popped in whilst visiting family in Ramsgate. Lovely to see this old building still in use. Loved the features alongside the pictures reflecting on the building past. Good selection of ale. Standard Wetherspoons faye. Wrap and panini were both good.

A decent 'Spoons in a huge, stunning refurbished art deco pavilion with outdoor terrace overlooking the beach. The usual decent spread of cask and keg beers, lagers, wine and the rest at reasonable prices. Standard pub grub also served. Lovely outdoor balcony overlooking Ramsgate beach, though it gets busy in the Summer so you need to arrive early.

Many sea view windows are taken up by a single big group table.

They advertised 12 different Christmas beers for 3.08 for a pint from November 13th to. December 31. However, on December 23, one was no longer available, even though it was widely advertised. This really disappoints me.

Considering how big this establishment is, the service, at the bar and the app, is very quick. Other than that, it's the usual Wetherspoons experience of great drink selections at good value prices

What a beautiful location this Wetherspoons is! What a beautiful view over the beach and the sea. We have been here several times and have eaten well.

Best Spoons to visit in the summertime as there is an open deck that us right on the beachfront. Inside is always too noisy.

This is an impressive building and makes a really impressive pub. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Usual 'Spoons drink range. Recent refurbishment had made only small changes to interior - extending the balcony to full loop. Exterior changes sound interesting but it was far too windy and cold to check them out!

Although the biggest in the country, the service, the food and drinks are, as always for 'Spoons, second to none. The service is always quick and the food hot and in these days very cost effective. I appreciate it is not Cordon Bleu cooking, but just what you expect, although I do miss the steaks which are not on the menu. The setting is beautiful, especially in the summer, but is a welcome step off when going for a seaside walk in the winter. Long may it reign over the Royal Harbour, Ramsgate.

Good JDW good food selection and fast service

An absolutely amazing place. The building is fabulous. The service was good and the food was also excellent. Why only 4 stars? Even though it wasn't all that busy the team didn't clear things away. Also there were bins and plates in sight, which wasn't great. I have been to some much busier Wethersoons where plates and glasses were cleared more quickly.

How do they do it?! There's usually something not to like about a place but Wetherspoons seem to have ticked all the good boxes here. The Royal Victoria Pavilion is a great venue, much of it overlooking the sea in a great location. Unlike so many Victorian seaside buildings this one has been renovated and kept in lovely condition both inside and out. It's clean and well staffed. How do they do it for the price? I had a very nice pint of Ruddles County, just £1.79, yes £1.79! This would be £4.50 to £5.00 anywhere else. My wife had a very reasonably priced soft drink, and then we ordered food. She had a small cod and chips, I had the house burger and chips. Not massive portions but plenty big enough for a decent lunch and freshly cooked. Ordered at the bar, I had barely got back to the table when it was waitress served. All very good and tasty. Even the condiments were all Heinz or Sarsons, not the cheap and nasty stuff served up in some places. All drinks and food came to a total of a little over £18.00 including everything. Quite amazing value! It's not Michelin star stuff but very hard to fault. Will definitely be back.
