used to order all the time from here, but moved away. So on a visit back, I thought I'd try it. I really was disappointed I'm afraid to say. Even though the food was hot, it wasn't very nice. Bhajees were dripping in oil, mint sauce tasted fizzy, curry had frozen mixed vegetables in it. meat was bland and didn't taste any better than a supermarket meal. Such a shame, as i used to love this place. But sadly, wouldnt bother again.

Good as always, no salad or mint sauce which was a shame.

some of the dishes had leaked in the bag, and 4 dishes were very oily, 2 bits of chicken in the biriani and one of the nans were very doughy, not recommended at all

15 minutes late, but thats ok. Forst time ive used this restaurant, for home delivery. Lovely food, and plenty of it. Will definitely use them from now on. And would 100% recommend them.

Everything was greasy, like swimming in oil, 96% went in the bin, the naan was the only thing really edible, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

This Indian was absolutely delicious. Sometimes it works out well when your regular choice is not delivering as you get to try others and I can definitely say that when we next want an Indian, this will be the restaurant we will choose. xx

Really disappointed this time. No popadoms and the food was late and very oily and considering the price has gone up this is not good. May have to find another Indian take away after all the years I have been going to Royal Bengal. Sorry team but you messed up.

What happened to the salt??. Have been buying this for ages and never had such a bland taste. It just was not seasoned like it usually is.

Very bad spot bad service and they add extra money to your receipts. Don’t go here !!!. They also don’t like black people as they didn’t want to give me a seat in the begin

This is the last order that I will get from this particular restaurant because I have moved away. I am absolutely gutted and I will miss the delicious food from one of the best restaurants I’ve ever ordered from. I wish you nothing but success and anyone that has not already ordered from here, you need to is wonderful. 10/10. Thank you for making my cold evenings more delicious.

I always order from Royal Bengal , I've never had a bad meal when I've ordered from here & so it's my go to take away Indian restaurant.

delayed delivery probably because its a friday, but food was good as always wouldn't use another Indian locally.

Korma was nice but the rice was a little watery and took away from the taste of the Korma.

The food had no taste to it - onion bajis were soggy and wet - nann bread was wet on the bottom which made it soggy.

They always mark it as arrived before it get here & the meat tikka is so tough its inedible

EVERYTHING LACKED THE TRAD SPICES. THE WORST BIRIANI EVEN THOUGH IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THEIR SPECIAL. PESHWARI NAAN TASTED OFF! FOOD WAS LUKE WARM. LACKED FLAVOUR, THE BHAJIS FELL APART WHEN PICKED UP. NOTHING TASTED FRESH. WOULD NOT USE AGAIN.

the driver was not outside when he messaged us he arrived. we was outside for over 15 minutes. the driver did not answer is phone and when he phoned us he just ignored us. he said he could not find the house. we live on a straight road. if he cannot count he shouldn't have this job. very disappointed I will be leaving a review of this in the app store

Food is normally lovely, my normal Indian but today was not nice, the lamb and chicken was very tough and chewy couldn’t eat. Pilau rice came plain, chips soggy, nothing tasted the same and was cold, Very disappointed on this occasion.

Ordered Ch Madras and Ch Korma, food turned up hot which was great considering distance. Food was flavourful and was great consistency - sundries were also lovely. Look forward to ordering again

I was a bit worried after reading reviews on here, but the food was really tasty, and delivered earlier than expected by a lovely delivery driver! Thank you for a delicious meal at great value.

I really hate to give bad feedback but the Biriyani was awful. No fragrant or Biriyani spice used. If you are an Indian or Bangladeshi restaurant, you must know how biriyani tastes or smells. And Mixed grill? Full of colour and oil. Sorry man but you guys need to change your recipe seriously. Btw! Vegetable was really nice.

Good food delivered hot and earlier than expected.

The 2 main dishes and the side we ordered were covered on oil. It was also unfortunate that one of items leaked. Much of this we did not eat.

Great curry, tried a different flavour from my usual order of Dupiaza, and the Karahi Chicken was very nice. Once again, though, the courier didn't seem to see the Blink doorbell and knocked on the back door!

Will not oder from here at all. Lamb Jalfrezi actually no lamb just onions and chilli. paneer well it was 6 pieces of paneer in a korma sauce with frozen microwaved pease. Sheek kabab wrap well for almost £9.00 would have expected 2 kababs in wrap.

Food 15mins late. Missing items. Food wasn't anything like usual and tasted awful in comparison. 3rs time they've left something out of our order so probably won't go back unfortunately. Not happy.

I’ve ordered from here before, but tonight I thought the poppadoms were stale and chewy, the chicken tikka butter was very oily and the chicken was hard/dry. To balance, the pilau rice and Naans were very good. I’d order from here again based on past experience, but tonight was disappointing.

i've been trying to find a good place to order indian food and this definitely understood the assignment, food was hot when it arrived it was tasty and worth the money

food was over a hour late and wasnt piping hot when arrived but the food was packaged well and tasted really good if wasnt for the long wait would be top marks all round, will order again as this was our 1st time.

I have used this place for over 20 years and always enjoyed it. I'm so sorry but this was not the best, the the taste, and the look was completely different, the chicken was dry, popadoms tasted funny , bit like beef fat. New chef maybe ? Not a fan

Food was over 35 minutes late, (past the latest time,) because of "Traffic." Hence it was just about warm. Our requests for no oil and not black/burnt bread was ignored as both had burnt parts and the mushrooms were swimming in oil.

Starters and mains great. Only comment is poppadums were a bit stale.

The worst curry experience ever! The curry powder wasn’t even mixed in with the gravy properly. The salt was overpowering. The set meal had a nan missing. I had to call them three times to get the missing nan out. I speak the same language as the people who run this place and what I heard over the phone was unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never order again. The portion sizes are small compared to other Indian places. I advic all to try the Hornchurch Indian places instead of this place.

I did not receive the rice with the lamb pathia and the tandoori mixed grill balti had bones and was meant to be served with Nan I did not get and the portion was small so not a great experience and left hungry
