Victoria in Barking and Dagenham

Without a doubt my favorite place during my stay in Barking. Pleasant atmosphere of a typical English Pub, friendly people and super fun karaoke. I would definitely return at the next opportunity.

Always have a fantastic time at the Vic, it's a proper old skool pub and always filled with happy people

stopped off to use their facilities and ordered a quick pint. no cask beer available. Only Macro beer at time of visit. A few regulars inside, felt tired and sad. Certainly not the most charismatic pub I've ever visited

Great boozer great staff and welcoming punters

Went in here for the first time as me and the other half just wanted a few beers. We did not know about this pub and were drinking in the pub near the station . That other pub was not at all good so we stopped going. Then came across this pub and it was a nice enjoyable evening. So we have found a place to have a few beers.

I have never seen such rude service anywhere. They should be feeding the pigs, not running a bar. The manager told me to leave after 5 minutes because... I didn't order anything. Come and buy something now and if you don't, **** **f. It's dirty and disgusting inside. He explained to me that these are the rules in the UK (sorry what? where? Can you show me?). I have never seen such rules anywhere in the world. 30 years ago in Russia, there were similar bars where it smelt, it was nasty, disgusting drunk people were lying around the whole pub. But even there, no one kicked people out after 5 minutes for anything. Worst service I've ever seen. I will not come back.

Great pub, fantastic atmosphere. Sadly they do not serve any food.

A great local pub within 10 minutes of the hotel. Rob & Lee were great hosts! The veer was well priced too!!

Lovly little quite place if you fancy some peace... Not very expensive has karaoke there on certain days .. but alround not a bed boozer

avoid like the plague. couldn't recommend this place. Literally the most disgusting pub we have ever seen. we will be reporting them and will not be told we can not have my honest opinion about this farce of a pub!! Save your money people go elsewhere as we have done.

Very historic place to visit . Captured the Roman Britain history very well. Very interesting especially the prison part which was very real . Excellent customer service from the staff especially the fellow who dressed in Roman clothes upstairs. However, I wish it will be free for kids to help them learn the history.

quiet pub, It is a lot better then it use to be, and now have new chairs and just got a new pool table 🎱.

Been coming here for years and this place just gets worse every time I come in this will be my last visit here time for me to find a new local the service just gets worse as the weeks go by and the new land lady needs to learn some manors I won £50 on the fruit machine it paid me £36 in old pound coins and she refused to change them up into new ones or give me notes telling me I shouldn't have played it then and if don't like it just put them back in piss poor I say I'm deffo finding a new local after this

Bueno antiguo pub del East End. Amable clientela y el personal del bar, el servicio de speedy. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

A la vieja usanza, simpática boozer. No hay verdadera ale y no los aperitivos de lujo, sólo cerveza, sidra y John Smiths.

Time hasn't been kind to English pubs but this is definitely a timeless classic. Filled with obvious regulars, the atmosphere is kind and welcoming. Spent 3 evenings enjoying the richness of live music on a Saturday night, the camaraderie of game day on Sunday and the fun and laughter of karaoke on a Monday night. (Didn't think Monday night would end!) Decor is absolutely splendid, warm and rich. And the bar staff are friendly as can be (though they don't mind some playful banter). It's not the same old same old that you get with a Wetherspoon's Pub and that is greatly missed and appreciated! Keep it up!

Need to come into 21st Century - Decor needs to be updated probably the only pub in Barking. No atmospher only had 1 then left.
