Delivery was supposed to be by 7.55pm, that time came and it said it had been delivered but it hadn’t. So we phoned the takeaway and they gave an excuse about being busy and turned up 20mins later. When looked at the food they had sent 1 item wrong and completely missed another. Not happy

Not happy this was my favourite Indian.

Food taste nice but was so over priced and they took advance with what we ordered. We paid £34 for not much food. We called to query our order but their response to us was terrible didn’t care at all. WE WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN LOST CUSTOMER. Order somewhere else if you want a good Indian. Food wasn’t very hot either.

Best Indian takeaway around. The Royal potato’s are amazing and the madras is perfectly seasoned.

We always order from royal when we want Indian food. I think they were really busy tonight as food was not hot, samosas not as cooked as usual, normally they give you complimentary potatoes if you order certain amount (this may have changed) we did order on a Friday night which we don't usually.

The lamb and chicken was very rubbery plus everything was very salty. The lamb rogan was lamb mixed with chopped tomatoes and lots of salt. I am extremely disappointed with the food quality. I will never be ordering from the Royals again.

Food was very disappointing.passander tasted of flour . Kurma was runny and tasteless chicken was tough . Nan bread wasn’t cooked .

Have ordered here before and really enjoyed the food but unfortunately this time the food was very cold and Nan bread was stone cold and soggy. Not a great meal.

The lamb was very tough. The lamb Makani and tikka masala was overly sweet.

Food was awful, we didn’t eat a thing. Tikka masala was so sweet it was unedible. All additional sauces was also very sweet so we end up hungry&angry. We discovered that naan breads were sweet to! Why? I never eat anything like this in indian cousine before. The only thing that was good was papadoom.

The food was too sweet. The chicken masala was so sweet and unbearable. Naan was good. rest was too sweet to eat.

Never had a meal with so much sweetened cream swimming in most dishes given. Butter chicken is more like a dessert. Saag paneer- never had one sweetened the way it was given. Will not be ordering again.

We are always apprehensive when ordering from somewhere new, but we were not disappointed. The food was hot, well packaged and tasted great. We will be sure to tip when we order again soon.

The fist time I ordered Biriyani, the salt and spice was less to my taste. so the second time I added an additional note to the order to add a bit more spice and salt but they ignored the note and it tasted the same. I wouldn't have risked a third time but got confused with the restaurant names and... ate a taste less biriyani again :(

Usually amazing food and delivery time but this time the lamb Biryani had very tough meat and the korma chicken wasn’t as tender as previously - HOWEVER Everything else was amazing and would probably order again

Consistency is the key and The team @ The Royal always produce good quality cooking. Decent portions too. Highly recommended, give them a go and they may well turn into your go to Indian takeaway.

Very nice meal, free side order of potatoes in coconut which was really tasty. The best Indian meal for a long time.

Stale papadums and everything else was cold. I ordered this with an hour and a half’s notice and they still messed it up. 70% of it is now in the bin as I won’t be trying to reheat rice and chicken. I will be requesting a refund but I don’t hold out much hope.

This has been our go to Indian cuisine takeaway for years. Tried others for a change just to compare and The Royal is the very best in our opinion.

Started ordering from here as one of the few places I can get a quorn curry! It's become the go to curry place. Over the past year of ordering there's only ever been one problem which the restaurant was happy to resolve. Stunning food everytime ☺️

We love this place. Food seems to be getting better and better. If you like it hot I can definitely recommend the naga or garlic chilli chicken 👍staff are great and are brilliant with any requests we’ve asked for. This is definitely a firm favourite of ours
