The Round House in City of London, Westminster

Wednesday evening , the music was on so loud people had to shout to make themselves heard. We were not alone in disliking the noise level, the table of 4 next to us were annoyed by it too. When we politely asked a member of the bar staff of he could turn it down a little he said no, his boss said it had to be that loud.

The music is great. I went today with my husband who traveled from Colombia to celebrate our anniversary and use savings from 2 years of intense work. When the man at the entrance entered, he asked me for my ID and I showed him my passport which shows that I am of legal age. My husband ordered some beers and we sat down, then I went to the bar to order two Martinis and the girl bartender with blue hair asked me for my ID again, I showed it to her on my cell phone and she told me that she needed the physical ID. Which seemed very strange to me because in at least 10 other pubs in London they accepted it digitally and the same man at the entrance accepted it that way when he let me in. I told him I had already had a beer and he told me he couldn't give me anything without my physical ID. I was very sad because I saved a lot of time to go to London and the girl called me an underage liar, when I'm not and I was showing her my digital ID. I think they should put a sign outside saying that the physical ID must be shown, so I wouldn't have gone in and had such a bad time. I had to go somewhere else and I was really disappointed because they were playing the music of my favorite singer: Adele 😭

A good place for entertainment.

Walked in accidentally and enjoyed the music, ambience and drinks. Drinks are particularly a bonus, generous in size and very reasonably priced (3 shots of tequila for £17.5 woohoo).

Went in as a party of 4 wanting to have a couple of drinks and relax for a while. First task was to ask the bar staff to wipe down the sticky beer stained table. The large lemonade to my son was mainly ice, the other drinks were as expected. Started to relax and chat among ourselves and then they decided to blast dance music at a level that destroyed any hope of that. Drank up quickly and left for good.

Went in for an early afternoon drink. All people in our group agreed that it was one of the best pints we'd had in London. Obviously very well looked after lines.

We watched football and drank nice beer. Satisfaction.

We loved the place, the beer, and the service. We always prioritise places that aren't packed with tourists, and this is one of those places. For those who want to experience local life without the hassle of tourists just wanting to take Instagram photos, this is the ideal spot

Good place to have a laugh and a cold one. Friendly staff and they can pour reasonably good Guinness.

Could be a great pub but ruined by ridiculously loud techno/dance music which means impossible to have a conversation!

A friend recommended it to us and we went with a group of Greeks. Beautiful place, nice music, but strange for the Greeks to close at 9.

Stopped here randomly on the lunch hour during a day-long walk around the city. Bright, welcoming space with a decent beer selection and a nice array of toasted sandwiches available (we had the ham and cheese - excellent.) The young man on duty was somehow managing to serve the entire pub single-handedly and still had to time to answer tourist questions ("what's a cask ale?"). High marks all round.

Lovely cute little pub in the heart of London with a stellar bartender! Jonathan didn't go the extra mile, he went the extra parsec!!! I wasn't sure about the pale ale (tiny rebel) and the gentleman offered me a "shot" of it, without me even asking, even did a nice joke, and was knowledgeable about it. I've worked in the customer service industry for decades, and I'd love to have him in my team!! Give that gentleman a raise!!

We had a drink here on a Saturday evening after eating elsewhere. Plenty of tables and seating, great vibe and atmosphere. Good traditional pub feel where you can have a conversation.

Follows the standard Fuller's decor, which does work and gives the impression of authenticity in and amongst a tourist spot. Staff was friendly, both upon arrival and exit. However downmarking must come to prices, £7.15 for a bottle of Honey Dew is pushing the parameters of acceptability.

Accueil sympathique. Bar typique. Beaucoup de places debout et autour des places assises. Un bon Sauvignon blanc et une bonne bière au fût. Une pause agréable.

Visited for a drink whilst in London and spent about 30 minutes here. Served by a bar person who frankly was miserable. No manners at all. 3 people behind the bar and not one of them smiled at any customer at any point. Visited the toilets that smelt awful and needed a clean. Just a horrible experience and won’t be going back. Embarrassed for the overseas visitors who were there for a traditional pub and got awful service. Such a shame.

A nice traditional pub with an interesting history situated a couple of minutes from Covent Garden. Good range of drinks and a simple menu of burgers and toasties. Friendly atmosphere and nice and light interior. Prices typical for the area. £17 for glass of wine and a pint.

Great pub with excellent beer and friendly staff. Good atmosphere and great feel about the place. We didn’t eat here but wish we had! Food looked great. Special mention to the bar staff, on his own while his colleague was on a break and coped amazing with lots of thirsty customers.

Nice pub and good atmosphere but be careful of pick pocketers in here - I had my phone taken out my pocket, and two other girls had their handbag stolen. Not saying it’s the pubs fault and only leaving this review to help prevent it happening again but the pick pocketers obvs know they can get away with it in here! Just be extra cautious!

Accueil sympathique. Visité un samedi. Il faut arriver vers 11h30 pour avoir des places assises. Ils servent des toasts bien garnis, faits à la demande. C'est frais. Attention : le pastrami est pimenté 😀.Bravo à la serveuse en charge des "toasties"(servis par deux): c'est du bon travail 👍👌. Merci!

Called in for a drink, atmosphere was ok for last Friday afternoon. Ordered a beer and an elderflower press, bar person mistook request for a Prosecco equivalent then continued to argue the point! Not impressed given that my other half was driving and I clearly ordered a non-alcoholic drink on behalf. Sorted in the end with their manager and was fine. Point being, WHY do staff in venues continue to argue with customers and ruin the whole experience over the cost of a few ££ for a drink. BIG picture guys.

A lovely pub close to the theatres with some good ales and helpful staff

A real welcome from the staff, great atmosphere and a decent selection of beers. A welcoming stop when marching around Covent Garden. Will definitely return.

This is a nice Fullers pub. Its pricey but its a Fullers pub so no surprise there. Ambience was nice and the Pride and Neck Oil are excellent here. One of the staff was frankly miserable but the other one was great - so overall 4 stars.

I went here for some dessert. It is an Italian restaurant. The place was full on a weekday night, but when I requested the staff that I was there for just a dessert and I won't take long, they accommodated me :) the tiramisu was nice! Would certainly love to visit again for some pasta :) good food, good ambience, great service!

Fabulous - spacious, light and airy surroundings. Comfortable place for an evening drink. Not over crowded. We didn't eat here, therefore unable to comment.

A small, well kept pub. The draught drinks selection is OK, but they do also have some interesting cocktails. The pub doesn't have a kitchen so you can order food from outside restaurants to your table which is a brilliant idea.
