Spaghetti House in City of London, Westminster

His spaghetti was very simple and tasteless, I was very surprised. I do not recommend it at all, the prices are very expensive, there are many nice restaurants nearby that you can go to if you pay that money. Additionally, the female employee who served our table was very cold and harsh. We said "thank you" twice and she did not respond at all. We were not satisfied at all, it was the standard spaghetti bought from the market, you can make much better ones at home.

Just had a lovely meal here . Simone'meatball spaghetti dish was superb. Full of flavour with a rich thick gravy. The tagliatelle with the fennel sausage and porchiini was equally delicious. Very generous portions. Both house wines were good and suited the meal. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back when next in London.

Food was disgusting and bland and tasteless No flavour at all. By far the most flavourless Italian food I’ve had in my life.i had an talgietlle and my sister had a carbonara and both were terrible. We didn’t even eat half of it. the waiter was even worse kept forget to write down 2 of our starters and it never came

For the French, you can find better.

Popped in while visiting Covent Garden and needed a quick meal…didn’t disappoint! Excellent service, the food was delicious and fresh (the Arrabiatta was one of the best I’ve ever tasted). Will definitely return😊

Very bad experience today at spaghetti house covent garden We waited and waited Only the starters came All other guests who arrived after us were served before us and they had obviously forgotten our order as the waitress said “ I was on a break!” Our kids were starving and every time we ask the staff shows very little to no response and eventually we’re actually rude as we decided to pay and cancel our order all together Never again

Loved it here - found a table for us quickly, friendly service, delicious pasta and for such a busy area too it was ideal!

Really enjoyed our visit here. The sharing bowl of Carbonara was enormous and great value. My first visit, but my wife and daughter had been to other restaurants of theirs and heartily recommended it.

Service was great, and the waitress was extremely kind and helpful, explaining the dishes and offering excellent suggestions. The calamari was perfectly crispy, light, and delicious. We also ordered the seafood spaghetti, which was absolutely amazing—light, flavorful, and aromatic. The place itself is very unique and charming. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

The hosts are bad, the Indian Doyle is unresponsive, and the restaurant manager is even worse

The staff were very friendly and asked if everything was ok with the food. Which of course it was!!! Both the carbonara and tagliatelle were beautiful. As was the calamari.

The Capricciosa pizza was delicious! The crispy crust paired perfectly with the fresh tomato sauce, gooey mozzarella, and toppings like ham, mushrooms, artichokes, and olives. A great balance of flavors—classic and satisfying!

Pasta dishes at 🔝🔝🔝 It's difficult to find them in Italy that are so good

Amazing!! Please come, I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to! Honestly the best restaurant I have ever been to! The staff make you smile and are not pushy at all! I am so glad I came here! The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking and it is a very customer is always right kind of place, Weather you want to merge 2 meals together or make a change to the dish, they are happy to do it for you, please come here! The only criticism I would give is that it is so delicious that you can’t stop eating! No matter how full you are!

Hands down my favourite Italian spot in London, highly recommend the arancini and carbonara. Restaurant is small but has a quaint atmosphere that really lends itself to that traditional independent family run feel. Plus a three course meal (shared dessert) and a bottle of Prosecco will only set you back £108 with a 13.5% service charge included!

Business dinner, super welcome from Francesco (regional Lombard). Everything super! From the carbonara with a live "sprinkling" of parmesan, to the gourmet humburger, ending with the tiramisu and the typical "panettun" with cream... if you're in the area it's worth a stop.

It's a nice Italian restaurant and delicious pizza

If you are looking for a dinner your kids are going to like, go to the Spaghetti House. The Pizza and Pasta are really good. There is plenty of room in the basement, but try not to sit in the middle of the room, the AC can be a bit cold. Overall definitely a recommendation.

I’ve never given a restaurant a bad review but after this less than enjoyable dining experience I felt compelled to. After waiting too long for a server we asked for water for the table and placed our order. The server wandered off and chose to clear tables without bringing the water. After some time it was obvious no water was coming so I flagged down another server who brought water (which was never refilled btw). The food was mediocre at best. When the bill arrived there was a “ compulsory service charge” added which if the service was adequate I would have been happy to pay. This charge is not compulsory and the patrons have to be advised prior that this will be added to the bill. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place!

Been going to this chain for many years. Menu has changed a lot but food still good. Prices typical for the West End. Drinks specially. House wine very good at £32 a litre.

Very bad service, been told to get up after deciding not to order dessert. Then the server told us that he was kidding.

For us it was a perfect end to a beautiful day in London. The weather was mild and we were able to eat outside. The waiter was funny and a bit crazy but he ironed it out with his charming manner 🤣 The food and wine were delicious and the prices were great OK

When we entered and brought to our table, they waiter ask from the start if someone had allergies. That's great service. (Not that we have allergies, but still nice.) The food tasted very good and we got it quick. - The restaurant is atmospheric, but a little bit packed. When the most tables are filled, you can't hear each other clearly. - The toilets are very clean. - Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you pay by card, you will need to hand over your card to the staff. They insert it in the pin machine and then you need to type in your pin. That looked a little weird. See the last pictures for the menu.

I came with my partner and we were served and looked after by the very bubbly and magnetic young gentleman named Ali. He recommended the linguine gamberi which tasted so fresh and delicious! He also suggested the Hugo cocktail which was fab!! Lovely clean place, great service! Will definitely be coming back!

The food is amazing. Garlic bread with cheese is to die for. I would never order garlic bread from most other places, but this is proper food cooked by professionals. The man who greeted and seated us is lovely. Friendly and smiling. The other staff did a good job but were a bit grumpy... maybe just having a bad day.

Had the spagetti and meatballs here the other day, and the lemonade. Both delicious the highlight was the lemon and basil sorbet! So light and refreshing. The wait staff were very attentive and welcoming

We have been to spaghetti House many times because of the food and service, both fantastic. A good menu as well. If you like pasta this is a great place to eat.

I rarely give a bad review. but wow. first, the food was really good. but we were seated in a sub basement where the curved walls wrapped overhead which at our height required us to lean over a little if seating upright. but hey, we weren't alone. but our food took over an hour to arrive. the table next to us ordered right before we did. the got their soup, additional bread, ate their main course, paid, and left before our food arrived. 2 other nearby tables (one was a group of 5) came much later than us and got their food before us. when I recognized this, I went to ask about our food. they were apologetic and said they were aware and it would just be 3 more minutes. after another 15 minutes, I went again. they apologized and said 2 more minutes. it took 10 more. the other 2 tables were now leaving, having finished. when our food came they were very apologetic and said "it's all on the house". ok, I thought, fair. but when we left we checked to make sure and they only were referring to our sodas apparently. the bill even had a 13.5% service charge even though our server never returned after taking our order and we never got refills on drinks until our food came. we were absolutely forgotten, ignored, and all that meant to them was to offer us 2 free sodas. I find that insulting.

We ate there 6 nights in a row during our stay in London. Trying the different dishes. All of excellent quality. The service is outstanding, young people and eager to improve the diners' experience. A special mention to Priyank for his performance and warmth. Highly recommended.

I had to write a review for this lovely team , we were 3 adults and 3 children btw ages 4-11 yrs. it was a trip to London from bristol , and we ended up at the speggetthi house by chance , after the weather started to pour it down . We were sat immediately on the ground floor , our phones were on there last battery life , the team kindly helped us to charge them whilst we were eating , the food was promptly and delicious and we couldn’t have had a better end to a tiring day , before we got back on the train to bristol . Would highly recommend this restaurant .

An experience I wouldn't do again... The pizza was normal, but the dough was full of oil and cooking water. We finished it because it cost so much, a non-Italian dish... cooked so... serious.

Good morning, we spent 4 days in London and by chance we came across this restaurant and what can I say it was a nice surprise, three evenings in a row we ate in this nice restaurant with nice decor, kindness of the staff and excellent food, both from the first and from the appetizers and the pizza. For us it was a great discovery and lucky to have found them. I highly recommend

We went on 19th July so a bit late in writing this. We had a great evening, great service, Mike was great, never rushed us although they were busy, and I said I’d give a good review, just a bit late. I’ve not been there before but will be back.

Exactly what we needed after a long flight. Excellent service. (Seated immediately, asked about dietary restrictions, checked in, but not too much). Tasty food (so much garlic! I'm so happy!)

the staff are lovely the food was lovely and its such a cute restaurant, nothing bad to say at all would 100% reccomend to people of all ages. portions are big though but i am not complaining, they were polite respectful and kind, a lady called kiki she was very polite and kind!

Food was really good and took surprisingly short time to get everything from ordering on the table. Kids meal were bigger size than I have seen last week during my stay in London. We were four together, couple with two kids, one in pram, we got good seats outside like we asked for. I would give this place 5 stars but it took quite some time to get the bill compared to how quick the service to the beginning of our visit.

Prohibitive prices for quite mediocre quality. The anchovy pizza was super salty and the Caesar salad was pretty poor. A place that neither was nor fa.

Food was good and the service was fast, however the waiter implied that there was chicken included in the caesar salad when there wasn’t, it was charged on the side so I had a not so nice surprise when the bill came that honestly kinda ruined the meal for me.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant, specifically with the waiter named Priyank and the rest of the staff. Despite being open for business hours, they made it very clear that they did not want to serve us because we were Muslim. They were incredibly rude and disrespectful towards us, refusing to even acknowledge our presence and making us feel unwelcome. To make matters worse, as the restaurant was nearing closing time, they were more than willing to serve other guests who were not Muslim. This discriminatory treatment left a sour taste in my mouth and I felt completely marginalized and disrespected. The only saving grace was the waiter named Ado, who treated us with professionalism and courtesy. It was a stark contrast to the behavior of his colleagues and I truly appreciated his efforts to make us feel welcome. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially if you are a Muslim. The discriminatory and disrespectful attitude of the staff, particularly Priyank, left a lasting negative impression on me. It's a shame that such behavior is tolerated in a place that should be welcoming to all guests.

I went today with my kids, brother and a causing. We had a lovely meal with spaghetti carbonara, Caesar salad with grilled chicken and Margarita Pizza Everything was delicious and big portions They have high chairs and the waiter was very helpful

Super nice service, not so nice pasta to be an Italian. The carbonara felt weird and the girl next to our table left it too. Bolognese was not bad, but would not recommend it based on the pasta, wine is also quite expensive

Myself and my sister were seated outside the spaghetti house. The service was immediately very quick and we had our orders placed and drinks brought to the table, after this we were forgotten about immediately. All staff returned inside and were ot present to ask for salt/pepper/ drinks. My side order had gone cold by the time the staff had reappeared to give someone else their food. No one asked if our food was ok at all. Food tasted nice, but if sitting outside the service is awful.

I got the Mac and cheese which was really really good, my brother got the lasagna which was also great, my mom got a chicken dish which missed the mark. It lacked seasoning and was very bland. They are very careful with food allergy requests, which is much appreciated. Overall I would definitely go back, just stick to the pasta!

We arrived hungry and left without it. Everything was very good and we had a waitress who spoke Spanish, very nice.

Too expensive food I wouldn’t prefer it again Poor dishes

The food was absolutely amazing. Would 10/10 recommend only if you’re doing take out and getting one bill. If you want split checks, they will be completely messed up and overcharged. Also, if you want servers that will give you quality service and remember simple things like to bring you water, don’t go here. Also know that there is tap water available and you don’t have to pay extra for bottled water because they won’t offer tap water to you, you’re expected to know that. In total we got scammed $30. Again, food was amazing. Other areas need major work.

We came here without reservation and got seated immediately, although it was busy. The waiter was very friendly to me and my child. We ordered pasta from the kids menu and cacio e pepe. The pasta pomodoro was very fruity and delicious, the cacio e pepe was exactly how it should be. Both pastas were on point! Al dente. Vino was excellent and we were happy enough to order dessert, although we were pretty full. This was also a good decision as it was absolutely tasty.

We were very satisfied. The pasta is recommended. It tasted very good and was a decent portion. The service was courteous and nice.

Food at then spaghetti House was great. We had the spaghetti and meatballs and other dishes for lunch. Everything was closely supervised by the owner/chef. We cannot wait to go back. I recommend it highly if you want something delicious food and friendly and cozy atmosphere.

We stopped here for dinner before a play tonight. We wanted to sit outside to eat and the staff were very apologetic that we had to pay when we ordered to do so as they have too many dine-and-dashes otherwise but we did not mind at all. We ordered the double serving of carbonara to share with a bottle of house wine and thoroughly enjoyed it all. The staff were very friendly and charming.

Pleasant, simple dishes but that present the palate with their best Italian flavor, a Borra Moretti, to start and a Salmon to continue. Coffee to close the meal. Recommended and worth what you know.

Rude waiter and made a group of 5 pay a fake mandatory service charge of an extra £10 to the bill and would not explain how it applies to us only stating that in london the london service charge law doesn’t apply? Overall just a bit rude to us.Wouldn’t recommend:(
