The Rooftop in Scarborough

Very nice rooftop terrace with great views, the pizzas here are the best I have ever had, I am told it's the authentic tomato base that does it but I am sure there's more to it, try one you will definitely be back for more. They also do great cocktails and have a good selection of draught beers. Staff are very friendly which makes for a great atmosphere overall.

Really lovely bar serving drinks and food, we stopped by here for cocktails and were not disappointed the margaritas were spot on and the strawberry 🍓 daiquiris were really good!

We love this bar, our favourite place in Scarborough. Superb pizzas and a great variety of drinks, including superb cocktails at sensible prices. Sit on the Rooftop and watch the world go by, a little part of heaven.

After I was told someone is going to serve my way to about 30 minutes they're not serving anymore food.

Went here for last orders with my colleagues from work. Been a few times before , great views, very friendly staff. Done some work since last time I went. Place looks great.

The cheese and charcuterie board was very disappointing. It was thrown together with hardly any meat but a chunk of pate ! ? Two chunks of bread and some silverskins ! It must have cost a little over £2 but it cost £20. I would advise people to enjoy the view have a beer but don't eat any of the food.

Popped in for a coffee. Friendly helpful staff. Great view, clean toilets. Only gripe was music through outside speakers was a tad on the loud side for having a chat

Unfortunately it was cold and windy the day we decided to try this lovely little bar and there is no indoor seating. Good selection of drinks, we didn't have food as we were eating somewhere else but what I saw looked very good.

Great little bar... all outdoor seating so make sure your toupees, hair extensions and small children are well secured on windy days.

What a gem! The cocktails and pizza are without exception the best in Scarborough. The owner puts a great deal of thought and care into his products and it shows. The location is great, with a good ambiance, the prices are good and dog friendly too. We spend a lot of time in our touring van in Scarborough, and the Rooftop is always our first and last stop for our trips. Highly recommended the Rooftop, it is a must!

Best breakfast I had in Scarborough

Dog-friendly rooftop cafe overlooking the Scarborough harbour and next to the Scarborough Castle. Nice coffee and friendly staff. Only criticism is that no clotted cream for the scone served.

This is such a cute place to hang out in Scarborough, you go up the little stairs and get to the rooftop bar and they have Helles lager on, Beavertown Neck Oil, Guinness, Madri and all your usual spirits behind the bar PLUS now they've started to master delicious home made pizzas with top spec Italian flour and they are damn tasty! They keep you warm whilst you're spotting stars and watching the ships bobbing in the harbour. They have a sheltered area too if you're not one to brave the weather, both areas are stunning and have great views over the bay. Enjoy!

Great little roof top bar. Excellent service .prices reasonable and food and cocktails looked really good. Would definitely recommend. Great people watching place.

The pizzas are very good along with the view Luna Park (fun fsir) somewhat gets in the way, but overall would go again for the food.

Nice modern, mainly outdoor terrace bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had scones, which unfortunately were a little dry and past their best. Helped down by a fab pint of Camdens ale. I would recommend The rooftop for an afternoon drink especially if its dry/sunny.

Slow slow slow slow. And didn't apologise. We ordered cold food and it took 25 mins. Not that great and not worth the wait.

Amazing views of Scarborough, great food, and staff. Great range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as fantastic cocktails. There were also mocktails for the younger clientele.

Great little bar, more seating round the back which we didn't see till we were in. Great view for people watching and drinks were reasonably priced. Bar staff were talkative and very nice, said she had worked there for a few years which explains the great service. Didn't have any food but looking at other tables the food looked good.

Visited this place while bringing my wife to Scarborough and Whitby and popped in for a drink, but when we saw the pizza, we just had to order them, having my own pizza oven, I can tell a good pizza when I see one. Had a good chat about pizzas with the chef, sorry didn’t get you name. The pizzas were fantastic, as well as the staff After a day at Whitby and fish and chips, we went for a drink only, as was too full to eat another pizza. We definitely recommend this place for a relaxing drink and eats, and we will be back to sample the new pepperoni, nduja and honey pizza 😉

Such a lovely little bar this and they serve Stella Artois and Camden hells and other drinks definitely worth a visit

Since visited last year the bar as been extended with more seating and toilets installed upstairs instead of having to walk downstairs, good atmosphere overlooking the harbour

Seems permanently closed despite Google saying its open. Went out of our way to find it closed with potential building work bring done and the rooftop area looking like storage.

Had lunch here twice last week it is little suntrap. Lovely friendly staff great prices would recommend anyone visiting Scarborough to cal Lovely place. Had a fish finger sandwich, this was well presented with a side salad and pot of homemade tartare sauce. The bread was lovely and soft and contained 3 large, tasty beautifully cooked fish fingers. Delicious. Polite and friendly staff and good food. Will definitely be coming back again.This is a lovely cafe. Visited a few times while on holiday in Scarborough. The food was fresh and well presented, lots of choice. Also licensed. Dog friendly. The staff were very friendly and efficient. A lovely spot to sit in the sunshine enjoying the views and watching the world go by. It also had inside area for the not so good days. Would highly recommend

Placed order and the hot drinks were not very hot. Waited for quite some time for charcuterie and cheese board, they did say they hadn’t everything and charged us less, which was nice and platter was only ok but it was the time it took to make it, there was no cooking involved, just placing food on a plate, waitress realised not brought oil dressing but by time she brought it we’d nearly eaten everything. Poor.

What a gem of a place. This is a wonderful cafe bar in a great location. Service was very friendly and there is a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on offer. Food was good, my wife and I sharing a mixed meat charcuterie and cheese board for a very reasonable £16. We sat outside at the upper level with a lovely view over the harbour. Great for nearby access to the castle (but there is a bit of a climb so let your food and drink settle first). No downside to the place, even the toilet though busy was spotless.

Very nice place, me and my wife had a few drinks each, I had Camden pale ale, which was excellent. The roof top bar, is a very chilled out place, we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff plus you get some good varied music playing from across the road at the Luner park.

Good table service beautiful view ordered our drinks paid the bill and then questioned the bill as it was very expensive.. our drinks were 1 pint of Stella Gordon’s pink gin and tonic Gordon’s pink gin and lemonade which came to £19.50! Called over a member of staff to which she went off and came back with its house policy that all Gins come as double.. I thought the general rule of thumb was if you ordered a spirit it came as a single measure unless the customer requests a double..I think this is a really bad as I could have been driving or on some medication which you are only allowed one drink.. So if your thinking of frequenting this establishment and your thinking of ordering a Gin make sure that you state a single!

The staff were very friendly with a smile thrown in for free. We were seated and one of the staff came and took our drinks order which arrived 2 minutes later. The Rooftop bar is a small bar with 6 tables seating 4 per table and overlooks Luna park fair with the sound of music from the fair an added bonus. On my visit it was a lovely sunny day and a definite sun trap. I would recommend this place as a good place to relax and enjoy the view especially on a warm day.
