Stumbled across this by accident on route to Barton looking for somewhere for lunch. We and our dog were made to feel very welcome. The menu was comprehensive and good value. The ice cream was delicious. The staff were very friendly . The views across Lincolnshire were fantastic. Will definitely be calling again

We have been visiting this cafe very frequently over the years. It’s a lovely place with a great atmosphere. The food is great? Good value and plentiful and the team are very accommodating. Incredibly dog friendly- the dog actually takes us there!! (She doesn’t pay mind) :-)

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great food and lovely staff. Good choice on the menu and specials on the board. We both had the lasagne, homemade and delicious, then shared a really tasty apple crumble and custard. Portions are just right. My husband had a pot of tea, a very generous sized pot, and I had a fruit tea, also in a generous sized teapot. Proper china teacups and saucers made it perfect.

Disappointing. It was very busy, with staff like frightened rabbits. I was not given the meal choice that I'd ordered and my wife's quiche portion was minute, more like a little square of cheese and onion pie. Also, they've put the prices up, so it's not cheap.

Called here by chance on our way to Cleethorpes as we were looking for somewhere to get some lunch. The food is excellent, all freshly home cooked and very generous portions for not much money. They also grow a lot of their own veg and salad items and have a lovely gift shop and sweet shop. We will definately call again. Staff were nice too and very obliging.

We stumbled across this cafe on our way into Caistor. It's a fabulous place. The food was home cooked and exceptionally reasonable. Served piping hot and plenty of it. Their homemade cakes were gorgeous. As if this wasn't enough, it was the staff who made the visit so memorable and enjoyable. They were funny, informative and caring. The seating area is large, light and airy with the best views. Sitting outside in the summer must be a real treat. They do a lot of good work for the community, including a communal garden. If we lived closer I'd volunteer. An absolute hidden treasure of a place

Parking in the village was difficult so we drove back up the hill to stop at the Rock Foundation Cafe. How lucky we were! It's a delightful little place. The staff are so helpful, jolly and welcoming. The seating is well spaced with good amenities. The views across to the north is worth a visit alone. They have a real community spirit with helpers and support for the gardens and the home cooked food looked delicious. There's even a gift shop. It is not expensive compared to garden centres. I thoroughly recommend a visit for refreshments, food and a cheerful welcome. We left with a smile that lasted the rest of the day.

I came with my parents and children for dinner and an ice cream! We came Saturday afternoon and they had sold out of a few things due to them being closed on a Sunday and Monday but the food we did have was lovely! The staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a park outside which the kids loved to play on after their ice cream. Would definitely come again, a hidden gem 💎
