Popped in last minute,sat straight down, ordered drinks, couple of minutes later ordered fish n chips, prompt service, the food was hot, well cooked, actually it was bloody lovely ! Been here a number of times and will continue to go back. The staff are friendly, really polite and can't do enough for you.... see you again soon 👍🏼😁

Visited for some food with my family and glad we did. We was served by the lovely Emma who couldn’t do enough and was so great with our little boy even catered for his milk allergy. Had the chicken mix meal which was really tasty and a great bargain at £6 on a Thursday. Thank you again Emma keep up the great work!!!!

Honestly, what a great place. Emma, the manager, is the most welcoming of people, has the best smile always goes above and beyond to make each visit memorable. She is a class act. All staff are lovely here! And the food is very nice, especially after a day at work! Highly recommended.

Me and my partner went for some food, and it was top notch! The make your own burger was my personal choice and it did Not disappoint! The staff are lovely and chatty, especially the one from down south she’s a cracker she is.

Really enjoyed the food. Steak and Ale pie for me, 10/10 other half had Fish and chips 9/10. The atmosphere was ok but gee's it was noisy... had to move tables. All in all though would definitely go again!!!👍

The food was fantastic and all the staff were lovely and a very reasonable price we was able to bring our cockerpoo Rico and we all really enjoyed it I would recommend this to anybody there are not a lot of pubs left like this anymore

Reservamos el Robin Hood para la cena de Navidad para nosotros y nuestro oap's después de la muerte de la madre de mi esposa ese año, nunca habíamos comido fuera el día de Navidad antes y no estaba seguro de qué esperar! A todos nos encantó. Emma el gerente era tan bueno, incluso tenía una tarjeta de Navidad personal de ella y su personal, el personal también era excelente, así como la comida y el ambiente. Planeamos reservar para Navidad 2024 y preguntamos en octubre solo para encontrar que ya están completamente reservados! ¡Deverstated! El Robin Hood es un pub adecuado y el personal hace ese pub.

We visited the Robin Hood on the recommendation of friends. We visit Ashton regularly and usually eat at Wethspoons, although the last couple of visits there were disappointing. The food at the Robin Hood was excellent and the prices were also very good. We ate from the 2 Classic meals for £11.99 and it was really good value for money and very tasty. We had a Gammon meal and a Scampi meal, both lovely. Katie was really friendly and helpful and constantly checked with us to make sure that all was well. Well done to Katie and all the staff, the Robin Hood will now become our regular food stop when we are in Ashton.

Emma is amazing! Always so helpful! Ebony who works behind the bar is always so fun and polite I couldn’t recommend the Robin Hood enough!

We call in every couple of weeks on a Saturday afternoon after work. Always greeted with a friendly smile, the staff are fantastic here. The beer garden is huge, a proper suntrap when the weather is good. The beers and food selection is spot on too. All in, it's a great pub at the heart of the town, and, we look forward to visiting again soon. Keep up the good work 👏

Food in the weekdays is so so nice. Staff are very accommodating and take the time to chat to customers. The staff really do go out their way to help. Music on weekends is also very good and a really good place to watch sport. Katie is lovely and goes out of her way to make your experience at the pub the best it can be.

We stopped off just for a quick bite to eat and we ended up staying for a good few hours the food was very good quality for price, and Emma especially is a credit to the place as her manners and service was impeccable

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience here the food was unpleasant and a lot of the menu wasn't available, not good enough for a Sunday Lunchtime . Not sure why its gets good reviews, we wont be returning.

1st of all i have made thus pub my local, and its the best pub in ashton, always a warm welcome from staff, iv eaten here also and the food is gd, the beer is gd, i try and call in most days, but a couple of times only on mondays and tuesdays, iv asked for a pint as i did tonight at 22.30 and was told of 1 of the bar staff o we have finished, and before we start pointung fingers iv been told off this same lady before that they have stopped serving early, infact some monday and tuesday nights at 22.15 too 22.30 wen i finish work the doors are shut, and i do understand if pub not busy can close early, but it ONLY HAPPENS MONDAY AND TUESDAY, every other night they serve till 11, tonight Molly was on, but it isnt Molly who refused me early, it was the same lady who refused last time, and im thinking the same lady who shuts the doors early on these 2 certain nights, im going stop going on these nights as i am extremely frustrated and being told no at 22.30, do u not open till 11, thus will reamain my local as every 1 serving behund the bar other than this lady are stars, sorry for the complaint, but im not happy toinghr, best regards, 5 star this pub other than monday and tuesdays and it gets 2 stars for them nights !!!

Good pub. Lovely beer garden, such a sun trap when the weather is nice. Music is on and a couple of TVs, going to try and make this my place to come watch the euros in a few weeks. Staff are always friendly and have widened my choice of rums as I didn’t like them before, but I like that tropical one they have. Food is decent for a pub, I’ve only had some nibbly bits but they were nice

This was our second visit to the Robin Hood and we enjoyed it as much as the first. Great staff, delicious reasonably priced food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Just been in for Sunday Lunch. Ordered roast beef because that's all they had. Without doubt the worst meal of any kind I've ever been served. Beef was dry and so tough I couldn't even cut it never mind chew it. Everything else was re-warmed old potatoes and veg. Gravy was just thick lump. It was so horrible and disgusting I couldn't even eat it. I don't have money to spare but I feel that they have conned me out of £10. Thanks a lot Robin Hood. Whoever the so called chef is who prepared that disgusting meal you should be ashamed of yourself. Is that the standard of food you prepare at home for your family? You are a joke !!!

We're not local, we simply had a walk around after seeing friends play darts at the sports club and thought we'd pop in here for a pint. What a lovely welcoming place with a friendly atmosphere. We got chatting to Emma the landlady about the pub, the area, what she'd like to do with the place and to my delight we then got chatting all things retro gaming. If you haven't been before I'd recommend you visit this pub, whether local or otherwise, you'll be made to feel very welcome. Bar staff even remembered my wife's peculiarity with having to have her pint in a 'straight glass' - extra points!

I love this place nice reasonable priced food love the chip shop platter type meal. Best thing about this place is the bar manager I found out hee name is Emma. She is absolutely lovely brightens every visit with her smile and general niceness a credit to this place is an understatement!! Keep smiling Emma. All Emma’s are lovely ya know ❤️

This is a great pub and has quickly become a new favourite of ours in Ashton due to the staff and service especially from manager Emma and Ang behind the bar 😀 we love coming in for a quiet drink and sometimes for the food which is always excellent 👍 would highly recommend this place

I usually call in on Friday after work for a pint. I notice that it is usually the same member of staff each time, Katie. Always greeted with a smile and she always asks how my week has been which is lovely because I can see how busy she is most of the time. Never seems to get a minute. I am always served quickly and professionally. Would recommend the Robin Hood.
